Napoleon Hotel - روما

إن للفندق ردهة على شكل الطراز القديم في الطابق الأول, والفندق يقدم إفطارا ممتازا ويقع بالقرب من الآثار التاريخية. الغرف بالرغم من ذلك عادية ولكن نظيفة.

لقد أقمت أنا وزوجي ليلتنا الأولى في فندق نابليون في روما وقد كان طاقم العمل ودودا جدا لأنهم احتفظوا بحقائبنا لمدة 5 أيام عندما سافرنا إلى فلورنس. الخدمة كانت خاصة جدا فقد عرفت كل الأشخاص سريعا بمجرد معرفة الإسم الأول. وكان مديري مكتب الاستقبال مستعدين لترك ما يفعلونه لمساعدتنا من أجل وضع خطط الأيام-يقدمون لنا النصائح عن الباصات, المترو, أماكن المشي, وقد رتبوا لنا جولة للذهاب إلى متحف الفاتيكان وأخذنا المرشدين من الفندق وأعادونا مرة أخرى بعد ذلك. لقد تم تجديد رخام الحمام حديثا ولكن أثاث الغرف كان يحتاج إلى التجديد أيضا. ومع ذلك كانت الغرف ةنظيفة, والأسرة مريحة والملائات رائعة. إن مطعم الفندق لطيف وجيد جدا. ويمكن الإعتماد على الواي فاي. الكابوتشينو المقدمة في الإفطار جيدة جدا. ويوجد مغسلة على بعد مباني قليلة- على بعد 5 دقائق, ويوجد العديد من المطاعم الإيطالية الممتازة في المنطقة. إن مطعم Osteria Angeleno(يعد باستا تموت من أجلها) موجود في الجوار تماما. أنا أوصي بفندق نابيليون بشدة!

سعر الإقامة في الفندق جيدة. وهو قريب من المترو ويمكن الوصول بسهولة إالى كل المعالم السياحية. طاقم الفندق ممتاز,متعاون ولائق. الإفطار كان رائعا, و البار والمطعم كانا معقولان ومفتوحان كل يوم ماعدا يوم الأربعاء. كانت الغرف نظيفة جدا ولكن حجمها صغير. إنه مكان رائع من أجل الإقامة وسعره معقول.

At arrival they checked me in promptly, walked me to my room and carried my luggage. The concierge, Roberto, was great. He recommended transportation options which included metro, train and bus as appropriate. He booked a last minute excursion to Pompeii for me and when they did not arrive to pick me up arranged to have me driven there without charge. Also offerred to provide a box breakfast or open 15 minutes early since I had to depart before breakfast hours. Room was upgraded, clean, and comfortable. Maintenance staff arrived quickly to help me adjust temperature and figure out electric converter. They offerred free happy hour in the bar, complimentary breakfast, free internet, and computers are available for your use if you do not have a laptop. I stayed at two other hotels in Rome before and after a cruise and this was my favorite because they were so pleasant to deal with and the location was ideal near the train with transportation to all the attractions easy/cheap. I highly recommend Napoleon Hotel. They surpassed my expectations in every way.

First, the positives: 1. Very easy walk from Termini Station to the Hotel 2. Subway right outside the front door of the hotel allows easy access to the Subway Station (however, Subway system in Rome is not like NYC as far as locations) 3. Very clean room and no complaints about staff 4. Good breakfast which was always well stocked 5. Quiet Rooms, even when located by elevator. The negatives are as follows: 1. Small room, however it was typical for a NYC room size so I didn't expect much more. 2. The location of the Hotel, while nearby the train station, wasn't very close to many of the main stites you will want to see, forcing you to either walk over 30 min to get to the sites, take a bus,cab, or subway. Overall I would recccomend the Napoleon Hotel, for the money in Rome I was satisfied but not blown away.

We liked this hotel and even though its an older hotel, the bathrooms have been updated. Its clean and we absolutely LOVED Franco. He went above and beyond helping us with anything.

The Napoleon hotel excels at customer service. The concierge was always willing to help with directions, confirming dinner reservations, maps and they even sold cards to the Rome subway. The room and shower were nice but small and get a little getting used to. The location wasn't bad as the subway was righth outside the lobby. Breakfast was included in the price so it was nice just to get up, have breakfast and be on our way.

I was there two nights with two grown children and it was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in during our two week travels around Italy. Bathroom seemed large and comfortable compared to the other 4 star Italian hotels we stayed. The only negative is that the surrounding area is a bit run down, but not horrible. Also metro stop right outside door makes it easy to get to better points in the city.

The hotel staff is very friendly and is extremely helpful to organize tours for us, and transportation booking. They take good care of us. The breakfast buffet is more than we expect. Great service we get all 5 days of stay!

Hotel staff was great. Very accommodating, polite, and genuinely so. Hotel is older and shows some of its age. Rooms are small but most in Europe are that way. Bathroom shower in my room was small and had virtually no place for toiletries. Breakfast was very tasty and presented very well. Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh breads, cereals, fruit, scrambled eggs with European bacon served hot. The Metro (subway) has an entrance (Vittorio Emanuelle) right at the front door of the hotel so it is easy to go to Termini or other points. It is within walking distance to Termini but don't walk along the street in front of the station too far West of the station, it gets seedy and unsafe feeling quickly, instead walk 4 blocks South and then go West for a much better neighborhood and safer feeling. There are plenty of hotels in this area so look for a better deal.

This hotel was our home away from home. It was our first time in Europe and the staff was just amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay that much more special. They answered many of the questions we had and even called a local restaraunt to make reservations for us (arguably our best meal we had in Italy). Not to mention, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The free breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The location was just outstanding...it was a very nice, scenic 10min walk to the colessum and about 5 yards away from the metro to take you the Vatican, Spanish Steps, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel for people who are looking for a relaxed, comfortable and no nonsense place to stay in Rome. The staff treats you like your at home and for that alone is worth the price to pay for a place to stay, especially if its your first time visiting. We'll definitely be back to stay at Hotel Napoleon!

Everything about this hotel was top notch, it's location, condition of the rooms, breakfast, etc., but it was the staff that made my stay so enjoyable. Everyone on the hotel staff was eager to help,but it was the two concierges Roberto and Franco who really went above and beyond and made my stay so memorable. They made recommendations for laundry service, tours, places to eat and sights to see and every recommendation was spot on. The hotel is perhaps a ten minute walk from the Termini Train Station. Within 100 feet of the hotel entrance is the entry to the subway, which is one stop away from the Termini Station, a main subway stop serving both of Rome's subway lines. There are numerous restaurants in the area. The room size and the bathroom size were decent. Like most European hotels the shower was a bit small, but very modern and clean. I would stay there again without any hesitation and I would rely on Robert and Franco's recommendations without any hesitations.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The location was great- near to a subway stop so that you could move about Rome easily. The breakfast was great. Clean room. The shower was small, hard to move around but that was the only fault I could find. Great value.

Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. Having the metro stop in front of the hotel proved very easy and convenient to get to major tourist attractions Complimentary breakfast was very satisfying

The staff was exceptional to say the least! Very helpful and friendly. My one problem was the size of my room. I was surprised by the small size of the room and the bed. A picture or dimensions of a chosen room would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms well serviced. not a chain hotel but very nice indeed. Lounge area was very tastefully done. Right opposite the metro and easy walk to colloseum.

Tough one to rate. Interesting location in a more diverse neighborhood, which let to more interesting dining experience. If you request a single bed, you will get one...Interesting upstairs reception room. Rooms are small. I would stay there again. Good bargain.

Nice Hotel. Rooms were a bit small but we were out and about most of the time so it did not matter. Mattress was very hard but we found this to be true throughout European Hotels. There was a pigeon nesting on the AC unit just outside of the window which proved to be very noisy. All in all a good place from which to see Rome.

Fabulous hotel t in a sketchy area. Convenient to Metro but far away from just about everything.

Hotel was clean and had a convenient location right next to the subway and a couple blocks from Roma termini. It was also fairly close to the colosseum. Breakfast was decent and wifi was reasonably fast.

Hotel is in a poor location, centred in an unsightly area surrounded by many rundown discount stores. The building is old and in need of refurbishment. The staff were quite helpful. However,on asking them to mind our luggage when we were checkin out the insisted they would look after them, asking us to leave them in the middle of reception. On returning several hours later our bags had not moved! Hotel has wifi but is very slow and unusable in the rooms.

Hotel was OK, except for a very strong smell of cigarettes in the room.

Well, first - it shud not be rated as 4 star for any reason. It is at the most 2 star for its room, services, food, and interiors. Weird smell in the entire hotel. Rooms are pigeon holes with no view at all. Service is extremely average, breakfast buffet is very very average, unaccomodating and unhelpful staff. The room bedcover was dirty and stinking. we were fearful to catch skin deisease. the room service staff didnot change the bedsheets as well. the towels were only bleached and not cleaned properly. location-wise, a good location. 10 mins walk from roma termini station. Metro line (vittorio emanual) was right outside the hotel but rome is a city where u can walk to almost every place, so having a subway that close was not the best incentive for us to like this hotel that much., there are other good options for this price around this area. if u r looking for a comfortable stay, this is not the hotel. if hotel doesnt matter to u that much then better go for a bed and breakfast type arrangement coz this hotel is like that only. why to pay extra when services n room is just like that of a bed and breakfast hotel type. overall location is the only advantage but again there are other hotels for the same price but better location. so i suggest, do some more reasearch.

Very satisfied with the location and quality of Hotel. We were accustomed to eating earlier than the Italians appear to eat in the evening but the concierge told us of a nearby restaurant that would provide transportation and was open when we wanted to eat (at 600P) It was excellent. So good that we ate there a second night during our stay. The breakfast was very nice. We were able to walk to all of the major tourist sights .

The Napoleon Hotel is lovely hotel in a great location near a subway station. The service is fantastic; the family who owns the hotel are just wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are simple and clean. Some of the common areas need new carpeting. The hotel service and conceirge were absolutely as good as those in 5 star hotels that I stayed at on the same trip.

Hotel Napoleon was a winner! From the cleanliness of the rooms to the energy-saving electronic keys to the helpful staff to the accessibility of public transportation, staying there made lovely Rome even more lovely.

Pros: Location, location, location. The hotel is located seconds away from the Vittorio Emmanual metro stop which is extremely convenient and helps make your trip affordable. Using the metro you can easily get to any historical landmark and Termini is one stop away. The hotel staff was very friendly and the service was top-notch. Free breakfast, but stick to the coffee and croissants. Clean room. Great for mature couples. Cons: This hotel is rated 4 star, so if you are expecting the Westin or W, you will be disappointed. The building is 200 years old and it looks like it was last remodeled/upgraded in the 60's. Once you get over the old, dingy smell and the strange figurines, you will enjoy a clean and simple room.

Hotel was hidden gem. First impression wasn't great main lobby was small, but you soon realize there are other levels which are fantastic. Hotel was steps away from Metro which was very easy to Navigate to all the major sites. Staff was very accommodating.

Actually an overnight stay at end of vacation for me. Location was good, nice that it was a quaint old hotel which I love. However, awful smell upon entering Lobby and then masked with perfume, which unfortunately made it smell like a lavatory and this smell permeated around the hotel during my stay. Room was very clean though small and pillows were like bricks!

Hotels.com misrepresented the existence of onsite fitness facilities. The nearest fitness facility was over a 10 minute walk through dark roads ( very hard to find) and cost 18 Euros per day out of pocket. Breakfast service was slow and the food availability limited with a large number of guests at the same time. On a positive note, concierge service was helpful , friendly and professional.

Excellent little hotel with tube station entrance a few metres from the main door. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel bar served food and snacks and accommodated us with snack at 2300 after late flight arrival. Within walking distance of coliseum and other major sites. Tube from outside hotel goes direct to Vatican city, ticket, per person, costs €1.5 for 100 mins - 'English' option on ticket machine.

The hotel is an independent family run enterprise and tat gives it a very personal ambiance. The staff are charming and very helpful. The hotel is slightly outside the city centre but there is a Metro station just outside the door and it only takes a few minutes to get to the centre. The neighbourhood is fun and there are nice restaurants with realistic prices. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel.

The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful: very attentive & paid attention to the smallest detail. Only complaint was that the shower head was a bit outmoded & awkward to use.

The hotel was wonderful, with an extremely helpful staff. Our room and bathroom were good sized and very clean. It was the end of Oct. and the AC was still an option. Friday evening there was a free wine event where we were greeted by an owner of this family owned hotel. It gave visitors a chance to meet other travelers and feel very welcomed to this city. There was a large lobby area with a tv with more channels than in the rooms and several computers. Every evening there was a half price happy hour. We ate dinner in the bar one night for pizza and the dining room another night. The food was good and reasonable. A breakfast buffet with a wide variety of food was included with the room. The subway stop was right in front of the hotel. We used it to get to the Vatican. We walked to the Colusseum area, the Panthenon, and from the train station. We ate at a restaurant a block to the right of the hotel but the one to the left a few blocks had very slow service. Overall we loved this hotel. I gave it a 4 for location and neighbor hood only because it was out of the real tourist area, but then again that could be a plus.

We Stayed at the Napoleon Hotel for a couple of days before a cruise and were very happy with the hotel. Great location, clean, staff were very helpful. Would stay there again.

enjoyed it thoroughly

This was our 2nd time at the Napoleon hotel and it did not let is down. The room was large and climate controlled. The breakfast was a nice continental one and all services you expect were provided. The location is the best, very close to the metro and walking distance to the train station. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay there. It's definitely close to all the tourist sights. Would recommend to friends and family.

My wife and I spent a week at the Napoleon. Loved the service (all english speaking staff) and great location (20 mins walk to Colloseum and 10 mins to train station) with Metro outside the door. Breakfast was great too. The one downside was our room was quite small but looking at the hotel floorplans, it looked like it was only the rooms on the top (5th) floor that were smaller (the equivalent rooms on lower floor was larger). However, the room and en suite were really clean. All in all, a lovely staff and I'd certainly recommend the hotel. Also be aware the Rome council requires all hotels to charge a nightly rate per person (up to 10 nights) for 3* hotels and above - for us this was an unexpected 42 Euro for our 7 night stay on checkout.

metro almost at hotel door also walking distance form Ternini train station good bkf in the morning being in Rome it was OK not too many places to eat around but nice pizza place about 4 blocks

We really liked the hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfortable. Great free wine taste on Friday. Area a little run down but not a problem. Enjoyable stay and would go there again

The room was really nice. The staff was lovely. I was only there one night so did not explore the neighborhood much. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is that the elevators are a little strange. You have to take two different elevators to get to your room. I would stay there again if in Rome.
