High quality rooms, service, and facilities. The gym had new equipment and lots more light and space than most hotel gyms. Only downside - - perpetual long wait for elevators. Take the stairs!

That is a huge hotel. 24 floors. Very tasty breakfast with an excellent selection of food. Very clean rooms. Very complicated and time consuming TV navigation with too many paid services and channels. Internet access is very expensive. Good access to public transport (Metro and buses). No shuttle bus to the airport, however fantastic public transport, which is going to take you directly there. Friendly staff, who granted access to the Sky lounge in spite of no reservation. Staff speaking multiple languages.

Positive: We stayed in a deluxe suit and the room was amazing. Lots of space and very comfortable. We also had access to the Executive sky lounge, which has amazing views over the city and serves snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was a perfect place to relax. The spa treatments are expensive, but worth it. I had the best massage of my life! Negative: The service at reception was horrific!! Very nice staff but we spent atleast 3 hours of our total 22 hour stay just to get answers from reception and to check out. Seriously understaffed. The hotel was quite busy and there are only a few elevators. Sometimes we had to wait 15-30 minutes to get a elevator. There was also empty coffee and sugar sachets in our room and the minibar was not fully-stocked according to the list provided by the hotel and we were very worried that we would be charged for those things, which luckily we weren't. Also we had problems when paying our account and I had to insert my credit card pin 3 times. The bank the froze the amount of our bill x3 which then blocked my credit card. Luckily I was not alone and it was the last night of our holiday so I did not need much more cash. Overall the hotel is nice if you plan to book in and then only relax in your room and the sky lounge, but as soon as you go to the lobby its a nightmare.

Hotel is just a ordinary five star business hotel, not in an antique building like the Corinthia London Hotel. So not very unique and impressive. Hotel location was not central. One had to take bus or metro going downtown (about 15 minutes travelling). Yet the metro and bus stops near hotel made it convenient to go downtown. Aerobus stop nearby the hotel make it a plus but the aerobus get off stop at hotel when arriving is different from the stop going back to airport. Make sure you do not wait at the wrong place. Check wih the bus driver.

We got a great room only deal so staying here was not only pleasant but very reasonable too. The staff were friendly and really made an effort and the bar food was very good. We had a lovely city view from the 19th floor. the hotel is beside a metro station which was very handy and a short walk to Cortes Ingles Department store. There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. Overall an ideal hotel for a short stay.

Excellent hotel.Breakfast out of this world.Staff at breakfast could not do enough for you.Location of hotel was slightly out from centre of lisbon but there was a metro opposite hotel and you got into centre in 5-10 mins.Swimming pool free to guests but steam and sauna you had to pay for which i felt should have been free for guests.All in all excellent hotel and will definitely return

The desk clerk let us know how much the taxi should have been...this was helpful as we were over charged by double.

I would have really appreciated it if the internet service was free for even first 15 minutes.

Very nice hotel. Located about 10 minutes via metro to Lisbon city centre. Metro stop is 2 minute walk from hotel. Hotel in safe area. Just down the road are some nice restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the japanese buffet- excellent choice of sushi! Nice pastry shop just before you reach the metro as well, so we just had that for breakfast everyday. Hotel very nice. Communal areas very clean and nice. Rooms- good size. Safe in wardrobe. Slippers and gowns provided. Very good size and clean bathroom. Room service yummy! Did not try restaurant. Good sized and clean pool- water temp slightly cool though! Very relaxing. Overall good stay. Preferred being a bit out of the city centre- quieter location, cheaper restaurants.

Corinthia Hotels is close to a subwaystation on the blue line. Seven stops to the south and you´re in the city centre, three stops to the north and you´re at footbal stadium Luz (Benfica) as well the Colombo shopping mall. We got a great deal for Corinthia and the hotel was really, really good: excellent breakfast buffet (they even make you waffles), art exhibition inside and a decent pool. Best of all were the friendliness of the staff. I have never ever experienced such a thing. They treated us like we belonged to their family! The only form of criticism that I/we can put forward is the fact that there is no free WiFi. You have to pay for this. Still an excellent hotel and in a very beautiful and - given that it is a capital - "sleepy" sundaylazy kind of town.

very clean, comfortable room with convenient location closed to the metro station and the Zoo

Just returned home after 2 nights at the Corinthian in Lisbon following a cruise. We were able to move into our room in the morning and found it very comfortable and clean as well as large and modern. All the staff were very helpful with good English skills. We used the room service menu one evening and the food was exceptional for room service! Several restaurants were available a few doors down the street and the public transport system is very close. I would happily stay there again.

Good breakfast, very close to the Metro and just a few stops to the centre. Location near the zoo. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

bit of a taxi ride to historic sites and old town but worth it as parking was very reasonable. taxi rides were very reasonable and a great way to avoid the hot weather (from our point of view).

This is a great base for seeing Lisbon. Lovely room with everything we needed. We used the gym and pool as well and there's even a sundeck on the second floor so we managed some sunbathing too! We didn't use the hotel to eat or drink though so can't comment on that.

Great hotel. If you pay the exec room for a little more, you get excellent breakfast and free WiFI on the 24 Floor.

We had a lovely stay at the Corinthia Hotel. We up-graded to an Executive room which had fantastic views over the city to the Bridge and Viaduct. We were able to access the Executive Lounge on the 24th floor which was excellent. Staff were friendly, spoke very good english and were very helpful. Within a few stops on the Metro to the City Centre and all amenities. Excellent choice for Breakfast. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Facilities were very nice overall. The only wierd thing was that the hairdryer was "hard-wired" into the desk in the room and you couldn't get close to a mirror to dry your hair

This is one of the best hotels for the money anywhere in Europe. The location is a bit distant from downtown, but this is not a problem, since the hotel is across the street from the main line subway station. I will go back to this hotel when I return to Lisbon, assuming the great price I got in March is still available. A questionable assumption, to be sure, since the rates I have seen for future dates are roughly double what I paid in mid-March 2011. I must have gotten lucky! Please note: internet access in the room is only for a hefty surcharge!

Well located in Lisbon's financial center, steps away from subway services and bus station, this hotel offers wonderful spa services. For my first stay there, I was fortunate enough to receive an upgrade and several perks came with it. Really a great experience. Beautiful views of the city, including the acqueduct.

The Corinthia Hotel was even better than i had expected. I had checked the reviews from previous travellers and liked what i read, although i had my reservations about position of the hotel as some people said it was a little bit out of the way. I cannot fault it at all as there was plenty of ways to get around from right outside the hotel. I loved everything about the hotel the decor, the resteurant, where we had a gorgeous meal,the bar the rooms, even down to the beautiful smell in the lobby area.

My only complaint was that the room was smaller than expected. I understood I was getting a 29 sq.meter room but it was about only 20 sq. meters which makes a big difference in the size. Outside of that, the room was very pleasant and great amenities in the bathroom and had a great time there.

recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. would definitely recommend this hotel. it's a little outside the city but the metro is across the street or also a taxi is only a few euro into the city centre, i paid a little extra to stay in an executive room instead of a standard room and was glad i did!! the upgrade meant we had a larger room (it was like a suite with sitting room and extra bathroom) and also had access to the executive club on the top floor which offered complementary drinks and canapes every night, internet access and had great views of the city!! Would stay here again!!

My fiance and I very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Corinthia. The employees were all polite and spoke impeccable English, and the decor was tasteful and elegant. Our room was small, but it's Europe, so we were expecting that. The hotel is only a block or so from the metro line into the old city, so the location is convenient, even though it's not right in the heart of the tourist areas. Also, the breakfast was fabulous! Well worth the cost.

The hotel is in an excellent location: only a few minutes' walk from the metro and Praca de Espanha. There are also plenty of taxis, which are a relatively cheap way to get around in Lisbon. The lobby and hotel facilities are all very good, and up to the standard you would expect with a 5*. However, the room, which was a 'Superior', was disappointing. The bed was kingsize and fairly comfortable, but the room itself was not large. The bathroom was in definite need of an update, with a temperamental shower and cracked bidet. Furthermore, the room was not thoroughly cleaned every day and the bathroom was never swept. We had booked under a good rate, so did not complain, but overall I think this hotel has let its room standards slip somewhat. However, the location and other facilities will make up for this if you can obtain a discounted rate.

I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.We spent a long weekend there in July.the fact that it is just outside the centre did not matter as the Metro is right beside you and a taxi is only €8 away.There are a few nice restaurants around and the Twin Towers shopping centre is right beside you.The pool and sunbathing area were great to come back to after a day out and about; thought the sun is blocked after 6.00. The staff were always helpfull and their suggestion weere right on. Great value .

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Service and attitude of the staff is exceptional. I would absolutely stay here again when I am in Lisbon, and I can whole heartedly recommend this hotel to everone. Location wise, it is a little further from downtown and the old quarter than some of the other well known properties, but it is closer to the airport. The extra 4-5 minute taxi ride to get downtown is not a problem at all, as taxis are quite reasonable in Lisbon. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this place as 9.9.

This hotel was exceptional in every way except that it is a little out of the way to go for an evening walk. Everything is accessible via the Metro system and buses, but sometimes you just want to go for a walk. The hotel itself was fantastic, sitting outside having your breakfast in the heat was superb. The amount of food available was unbelievable and the quality of it was excellent. You can get a freshly made waffle with all the sauces or an omelette made to order.

THIS HOTEL WAS AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING HOTEL,WE WERE ON THE 18TH FLOOR AND THE VIEW WAS BREATHTAKING.THE CLEANLINESS WAS SUPERB AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.LOTS OF FLUFFY ROBES AND SLIPPERS EVERYWHERE.THE METRO IS RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD SO IT WAS VERY EASY TO GET AROUND.THE ZOO(ALSO ACROSS THE ROAD) WAS REALLY GOOD FUN WITH LOTS OF ANIMALS. THE STANDARD OF THIS HOTEL MADE IT A GREAT HOLIDAY FOR US.10/10 EASY.HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!

For a five star hotel the quality was not up to snuff. But, for the price you can't ask for better. Very close to the metro, super easy to get to the city center. The pool was a little disappointing and the internet is expensive.

Had great stay in this hotel - staff very pleasant and helpful. It's abit out of the way from main tourist attractions but taxis very cheap. Ideal for business. Great gym and spa facilities too.

Excellent service. Around the corner from the metro, bus and train station. 5 mins from the wonderful zoo. Great restaurant with different specials every night and some fine wines. We really enjoyed it.

Not centrally located but a very well appointed business type hotel a short metro ride from the action and well located for the metro, train and buses. The area around the hotel is a little dull but there is a small shopping centre with a supermarket over the road and a few reasonable restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious clean and comfortable. Recomended if you're not bothered by a 10-15 min trip to get into central Lisbon.

We arrived early in Lisbon by Train and took the metro to the Zoological stop. The hotel is right across the street. Nice. We were able to leave our bags and hit the streets for tourism. At the end of along day the check-in was smooth and the room was just great. Non-smoking, clean, quiet...quiet. We rarely use room service but we sprung for sandwitch and salad. Kind of expensive at 21 euros but we were desperate and it was satisfying. Breakfast was included and it had a huge variety for ffoods, breads, cheeses, omlets to order. On the last day we left our bags again and picked them up just before train departure. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Our limited spanish was not a problem. Top scores for this hotel in our book.

My girlfriend an ~d I checked into this hotel after a horror stay in Barcelona.We arrived early but were greated with the news we were "Guests of the day". This meant we were upgraded to a king suite and given complementary access to the Executive Club. The hotel is true five star with exceptional service and very comfortable rooms. It is accross the road t from both the train and metro stations which makes it ideal to get around. There isnºt much in the area but taxis are cheap when looking for a good spot for dinner.

L'hotel è a 3 minuti a piedi dalla metro quindi è molto comodo per raggiungere il centro Le camere sono curate come del resto tutti gli ambienti dell’ hotel. Buona anche la piscina e l’ area wellness Ottima la possibilità di consumare al 24° piano la colazione, e durante la giornata degli spuntini, con una vista eccezionale Ottima la disponibilità del personale della reception Durante il soggiorno mia moglie festeggiava il compleanno ed ho richiesto la consegna di un mazzo di fiori nell’ occasione la direzione ha fatto recapitare anche una torta (molto buona) ed una bottiglia di spumante, Abbiamo davvero molto apprezzato questo gesto inatteso di grande cortesia
