The hotel was faultless. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anybody.

Good location in wailking distance to center and Old Town.

For the price and considering it is only 3 star I thought the King's Hotel Center was excellent. Clean, nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. Can't ask for much more when you're only paying that much!!

Modern room. w/ old world charm. Lots of wood and paintings and up to date bathroom. Breakfast buffet half of others in Munich in a beautiful dining room looking onto a nice hof. Quiet.

Convenient to main train station---5 minute walk. Overall, hotel is good and I would stay there again but it is in a seedy neighborhood next to lotto stores and all nite bars. It is generally a great hotel, reasonably priced with small rooms in a raunchy location.

Location was convenient to train station, but did not like the neighborhood. Located near a casino and strip club. Room was very clean and pretty, but very small. The staff was nice and helpful.

Another great hotel in Munich. Located within walking distance to the train station, old town and Oktoberfest. Breakfast is available in the restaurant but no other meals available. Small bar in the lobby which was nice. Room was very comfortable and had all the amenities - a small coffee (espresso) pot, bottled water. Bathroom was very small but adequate. Not a lot of room to store toiletries if you are staying for a while. Needed to have laundry done while we there and it was very fast and reasonably priced. The rooms are decorated in a victorian period style with ornate beds. Fun. There are two restaurants located close to the hotel. One was an italian restaurant and the other a Bavarian restaurant - both served really good food. After we checked out and were at the airport I discovered I had left my cell phone in the room. When we returned to the US I e-mailed them and they promptly responded back that they had found my cell phone. I gave them my credit card number and they shipped it right back to me. We were impressed with the way they handled our forgetfulness. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

This was our second trip to Munich and staying at the King's Hotel Center. We still love it. The location is amazing. Hotel was great. Staff very helpful. Breakfast / fruhstuck was awesome! We'll stay there again. We brought several friends this time!

Very nice Hotel close to city centre and main station. The hotel and our room was very nice please note: breakfast cost 12 Euro each but is good

THE HOTEL WAS IMMACULATE! 3 BLOCKS FROM MAIN TRAIN STATION. FRONT DESK EXTREMELY HELPFUL. BATHROOM QUITE SMALL BUT SO CLEAN AND SPOTLESS. WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE OUT NEXT TIME TO MUNICH.

My wife and I stayed in room 408 during the Oktoberfest. Our room was a little on the small side, but OK for Europe, the bed was nice, especially with the canopy. The room was clean and well maintained. The ½ hour free internet was slow and the time given does not give you enough time, except check your emails. It is nice and close to the HBF and easy walking distance to Karls and Marien Platz. The front desk staff was friendly and there is a little bar right next to it that you can get a drink. We never had breakfast here. I would have no hesitation in staying here again if the price was right.

Great hotel with very helpful staff. NIce size room although room looks slightly older/worn out. Free internet. Perfect location near train station and walking distance to Oktoberfest.

Hotel was well maintained and only 3 minute walk from Munich Station, ideal positioning to explore Munich.

Stayed there for first week of Oktoberfest 2011 with a buddy, unlike most European hotels was big enough for two friends traveling together, nice rooms as well.

Very clean and nice place good location for everything Oktoberfest related.

This is a great hotel, very nice clean rooms and very close to the train station. The front desk staff was very friendly.

rooms are small, but it seems kind of typical for europe not to have big hotels like they do in the united states. other than that, the hotel was always clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and convenient to many sights in Munich.

Great value for money . A very clean & comfortable hotel, I would stay there again if I'm ever in Munich. Very close to main train station & a 10-15min walk to city centre.

So very convenient and comfortable...shame the breakfast buffet cost extra but it was fabulous. It was easy to walk to all the sites we cared to see and 5 minutes to the train station. Room was a bit tight to walk around in. 30 minutes of free internet was nice for checking trains and e-mail.

2 min walk from the central train station (unless you get lost like us). 15 min walk to Marienplatz and all of the main attractions. Very nice room, nice enough bar. Couldn't complain at all - would definitely go back there.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's a great location, very close to the train station and also the Augustiner Beer Garden, which is one of the larger beer gardens and has a fantastic atmosphere and good food too. It's easy to get to the center city as well from this location. The hotel is clean, the rooms are small but nice, and the hotel staff is some of the friendliest I've ever encountered. Next time I'm in Munich I will be staying here.

2 minutes from train station, 10 minute walk to old town Marienplatz square. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, good breakfast for the price

Convient location, clean rooms, and friendly staff speaking great English. Breakfast seemed expensive for what it offered, but the price seemed to be the norm throughout our trip.

Good location, 3 minutes walking distance to the Munich center train station. From the DB station, you can take U and S to almost everywhere in Munich. Room is small but fine and clean. Wireless can be used by a per day rate, with 30 minutes free term.

Great location, with fast easy access within Munich and rail station.....only down side is no free breakfast or internet....rooms were very clean and friendly staff allowed us to access a storage closet after checkout to sight see around the city free of charge and without lugging or packs needlessly. 2 thumbs up overall !!

The Hotel is in an excellent location to Munich HBF - 5 minute walk away. The room I had was compact but very nicely appointed in tradional style. Was very pleased with quality and service of hotel made to feel very welcome and staff very attentive - Price was also very good. Location of any hotel near a rail station is a mixed envirionment but felt safe but need sensible if walking late at night. - Can recommend.

Can't find anything to detract from this hotel. Great location, quiet, comfortable. Great value! Just stayed one night but I will stay again next time I return to Munich

We were very pleased to find this hotel both close to the sights of Munich and within a reasonable distance from the HBF. It was an easy walk to and from either of these locations. The staff was extremly helpful and pleasant and the room was a step up from what we expected. Although we normally walked everywhere, if we had chosen a tram or U-Bahn the were both easy to find and use. Munich is a great city and if those who are looking for a great hotel value, we would not hesitate to recommend the Kings Hotel Center on Marsstr.

I recently stayed at King's Hotel for a vacation. I have to say I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are tiny small, bathroom is even smaller. The room is not something you want to stay in. Drinks are bar are too expensive. Alcohol is precisely measured, so you will not get a strong pour. There is a happy hour, but only for specific drinks I've never heard of before. The staff - women employees are friendly. The men are cold and not as approachable. Neighborhood is seedy, but close to train station. The cab driver I talked to said King's Hotel is not very good. Try other options closer to Marianplaz Square.

Everything about the hotel was great i.e. VERY close to the train station, staff was helpful, location to other sites was close but the bed was uncomfortable. Mattress was hard and thin.....

A great little hotel in in a good location 5 minute walk from the station. Friendly staff, particularly in the bar.

We were thrilled with the King's Hotel. It is less than a five minute walk from the main train station and convenient to all city transportation. The hotel is immaculately clean, the room was beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to anyone want to enjoy Munich. The price was fantastic!

Well situated for rail station and main area. Very friendly and helpful staff. A budget hotel but 4* quality.

Beautifully appointed, spacious room. Beautiful lobby with very nice desk folks. VERY convenient to the main train station and the center of town.

Very comfortable, clean and super convenient location for train and sights.

The location is great if you're coming in by train. A very short walk from the main train station. Neighborhood is "so-so" as there aren't a lot of dining options. The hotel is north of the station but just south the neighborhood looks pretty rough. Lots of adult oriented businesses. Easy walk to the Marienplatz. Lots of public transportation options. Breakfast was NOT an American breakfast as some online had said. It was good but expensive for what it was. There were assorted breads and rolls with jams and honey, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, assorted cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, fresh fruit and beverages. I recommend you stop and look before you sign up to pay for it. Room was comfortable, decent size and quiet. Club rooms face the courtyard which is nice. Windows open. Bathroom was tiny but functional. Shower only, no tub. Biggest issue in the room- the bed. Billed as a KING bed it was two twins put together. Both mattresses were awful. Linens were awful - only twin comforters for cover and they were way too small. Towels were thin and small. Internet is expensive and slow.

Excellent hotel close to station. Rooms are very clean but slightly small. I would recommend the hotel and would use again when I am next in Munich.

this hotel is running on 2 buildings, very close to each other causing us some confusion. the hotel is really close to central station and is well maintained. but if you thought you want to dress up nicely for munich, you might have to walk to other building across the road for ironing. think again if you have to do that while raining. will be helpful if they provided one room in both buildings for ironing or at least an iron box to the room for the same.
