Very nice boutique hotel, in a great neighborhood. Parking is rough, b/c the center driveway is miniscule and we had to do a lot of musical chairs with the cars. but the rooms were clean, the concierge was great with recommendations and answering our questions, and the staff was very polite and attentive. My only gripe was about the beds: the comfort was fine but the pillows stunk. I don't know what it was but I tossed and turned all night. Otherwise, the room was in great shape and had a really great bathroom. Overall my stay was great. I can't complain about anything but the pillows!

Very nice hotel in excellent location downtown. Bed was nice and room had nice touches. Lovely bar with good menu. Did not try the resturant. Would stay here again- especially with reduced rate.

Great hotel, great location. I would have rated it even better, but the air conditioning went out and they didn't notify me, and when I complained at check out about how hot it had been, there was no effort to try to rectify the situation.

The room was clean, stylish and extremely comfortable, especially the bed. We love staying at the Philadelphia Sofitel.

Everything was great definitely stay hey again.

All the Frenchie commentary was hilarious, the staff took our jibes well, excellent location for rittenhouse square nightlife, great proximity to Underdog for late night snacks. Clean, modern rooms with nice bathrooms, the shower was a little funky smelling, but no worse than any other hotel we've recently visited. Overall a great deal.

My husband and I spent the night at your hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We found it conveniently located (walking distance) near the Philadelphia Art Museum, as well as wonderful restaurants and interesting shopping. We parked the car whencwe got there and did not need it back til our drive home the next afternoon. Hotels rooms had a suble European flair...nice.

I've stayed at many hotels, and the Sofitel is one of my favorite places to stay. Staff is knowledgeable, well spoken, and formal. The feel of the hotel is like walking into a lounge in Paris (I've been to Paris numerous times, and stay at Sofitel's sister company- Novotel). Bottom line, if you want to really enjoy your stay, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

We recently made a quick weekend trip to Philadelphia. This was our first visit and we booked this hotel through Hotels.com relying on its favorable reviews and were not disappointed. The location was great and it was comfortable, clean and fashionable. We plan to visit again and will definitely stay here.

I've stayed there before with my hubby but the room was much larger.He says it's fine.I do love the bed! Could sleep for days....... Wish it was a suite with a microwave and coffee station and better view. Rates are little high or I would stay there every weekend! phillygurl

I guess I just expected an "experience". I had heard these were awesome hotels and short of the lobby, it didn't feel any different than a standard Hilton. The view was a rooftop and the windows way to small.

I stay at many hotels, but everything at this hotel was above average, what you might expect at a 5star hotel, would highly recommended if staying in the Philadelphia area.....

Amazing Staff Right in the middle of the action! Highly reccomend

First time at hotel. Stayed for 1 night. If I need to stay in downtown Philly again I would definitely put this near the top of the list. Nice hotel with spacious rooms and comfy bed. Service was very good and good was great at the hotel bar / dining area. This hotel is very convenient to the business district in Philly - a couple of blocks from Rittenhouse square.

a great hotel in a great location -- a block and a half from Rittenhouse Square. However, $40.80 for one night parking is a bit much.

Some hotels say they are 5 star but this one is a five star hotel for sure. Highly recommended

Our stay here was a positive experience. The room was comfortable, the service was good and the location was excellent.

The Sofitels soft beds were so pretty and fluffy, it was just great to sink into the bed after a long drive. Not disappointed at all!!

This hotel is lovely! The rooms are decorated beautifully and are very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You will love it! The hotel bar is great as well. Have the pear martini-fabulous!

When I saw the Sofitel on Hotels.com I was really excited because I had heard some great things about it from friends. We enjoyed everything about the hotel from the decor to the toiletries. This was literally the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I'll absolutely be returning to the Sofitel in Philadelphia. Maybe I'll even leave the bed this time.

Very nice hotel with great amenities and Wonderful room service food. Great location, steps to restaurants, shops, and bars/clubs. Great lobby with a DJ on Saturday night. Would def rec and got a great rate for downtown.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. A great value. Excellent customer service. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Parking service a plus. Very clean hotel!!! An unexpected surprise!

We had a good time at the Sofitel. The location is central enough so you can walk/cab to interesting places cheaply. Our window looked out on a parking structure, but we were not in the room all that much, so that's okay. Comfy bed, relaxing shower and separate tub, what else could you want? We'll consider staying there again in the future.

Only stayed for the weekend. Hotel is in a great location. Lobby a little congested, but besides that, everything was great. Nice room and great service!

The room was sized very nicely with big closets and nice view of the city. Great location with plenty of fine dining near by. The bathroom was great with a big walk in shower and plenty of hot water. The hallways feel a bit under lit and the decor could have been ncer - but, the lobby was also very nice with great valet parking service. I plan on returning in June and definitely staying here again.

It was a very nice Hotel - loved the location - very close to great shopping!! Although I felt that we got the lower grade room because we booked through Hotels.com - very outdated.. but the bathroom was really nice...I would stay there again!

I had a wonderful experience at the Sofitel. Me and my fiancé brought our dog along and she was well accepted. I have went to Philadelphia and stayed at other hotels, but I think the Sofitel is by far the best. Everyone was nice and friendly and accommodating. On our last morning we decided to order room service for breakfast. It was very good, but a little on the expensive side. Even still, I would definitely go back!

My stay at the Sofitel Philly was great and the service was exceptional. I actually move from the Lowes, Philly, which was far below the standards I'm accustomed too. I would recommend this to anyone.

We have been to Philly a number of times and this was the best hotel experience by far! The room (junior suite) was huge with a separate living area and dressing area. The staff was great and it was convenient to walk to everything in Center City.
