We spent 4 nights at the hotel, and had a beautiful harbor view but you have to be lucky with the weather. Unfortunately, we only had a clear view of the harbor on 1 out of 4 nights, rain and mist being the spolier. The rooms were very comfortable and housekeeping staff was excellent. But the food at the restaurants was expensive and not value for money. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

First impressions of Harbour Plaza North Point was its location to all facilities (Supermarket - across the hotel, MTR - 2 mins walk directly in front of the hotel, restaurants - within 2 mins walking distance from the hotel) catering for a family. Also is the cleanliness of the room and the staff to help out. Friendliness of staff also rates high. Lastly the lunch buffet was FANTASTIC and a must try for all. We would highly recommend this hotel when staying in this brillant city. We will definitely be back to Hong Kong and re-booking this hotel.

The room is small but near to MTR , no breakfast, internet must pay

I think the hotel is well worth the cost... a little east of central but just minutes away by bus or metro... Only problem was they didn't have convenient plugs or int'l plugs for electronic devices... also, they charge for wireless in the room and don't provide it in the lobby.... Other than that... it's very clean and good customer service from staff!!!

We boioked through Hotels.com and had great help with a staff member. On arrival at harbour Plaza they stated i had to pay for an additional bed for my daughter - even though I had paid the stay in full some months before and had in writing that my daughter was to have a bed in our room. Luckily I took my email with the informatiion so we didn't get charged. What they then did was CRAM a single bed up against a window 23 storeys high and against the double bed. There was no space between the beds. We could not sit on any chairs or at a table. When we watched any TV we all sat on the bed to be able to see it other than standing in front of it. Very disappointed and never going back

good value for money, very clean, confortable and good standard

Stayed with our kids, Hotel is nice, Staff and service was great if a bit light on English (pretty much sums up Hong Kong). It is a bit away from the downtown area/ferry terminal, although there is a MTR station about 100m away and a starbucks right across the street. My biggest complaint would be that the beds were too firm - pretty much like sleeping on wood.

Most enjoyable

Overall, the location of the hotel was good. The MTR exit C is right across the street of the hotel which makes it very convenient to get around the HK Island. The hotel is old and the rooms are very dated. Our shower had mold on the corners and the floor had dirt and some mold as well. The internet was very expensive and the rate was very high $$$ per day. The beds are bad. My family of 4 had a 1 bedroom and the sofa bed was lumpy and sunken and had NO support. It left us with a bad back the rest of the day. Not a good start of each day. Service was good overall, but they overcharge you on everything there. The buffet has a large selection of very low quality foods.

When we first got to the hotel, there was a very pleasant citrus fragrance in the air. However when we got into the room, the awful smell made both my husband and me immediately started to cough, and having an tremendous headache. When we asked the front desk clerk to change us to a different room, they said there were no other room available. They send a housekeeping lady to clean and spray something in the air, plus setting up an air purifier in the room. We left the room for about two hours, upon our return to the room only to find the smell was worse. My husband finally got hold of the night manager to complain and threatened to check out that night and find anther hotel, he offered another room on the top floor ( their club member floor ). The smell was gone and we finally settled in. The hotel was old and poorly designed, even we had reserved a suite, there was hardly enough room for both of us to open the bedroom door and the closet door at the same time ( which was behind the bedroom door.) The shower door leaked from both side. We were forever mopping up the water on the floor after the shower. The night manager and the service people were very apologetic and nice, however the day manager when we checked in was very unaccommodating. Will NEVER stay in that hotel again !

NOT Satisfied at all .Regret booking it.

The hotel is good and close to the local MTR exit. The rooms are tight (but standard for HK) and the bathroom very clean. The hotel service was good and very helpful. The only issue was the bed is too hard.

Thos hotel is not all that for the price. The pool was nice but it's positioning meant you got no sun at all, all day

We chose this hotel again for convenience to MTR and we like to stay on the island

Gret place, very busy, great for all transport, shopping for me would be better over in Kowloon, but easy enough to get there on the MTR and ferry which was great fun

The hotel is very nice, especially with a well equipped Gym and a relative big swimming pool. And location is excellent, 3 min. to a MTR station. And relatively quiet neighborhood yet not too far away from major tourist attractions. However, it is located right next to a big funeral home. If you are not superstitious and don't about it. This is definitely a great choice.

I spent one night there before flyingto Australia. The bathroom was small but adequate. I particularly liked the swimming pool - great for a serious swimmer

Make sure you tell people to take exit C from Quarry Bay Station. Hotel only 100 meters from eit

Good location, next to mtr station. Room was cosy and clean. Internet was costly but even after buying it is for single device.. can't use both you iPad and laptop

Good for the price and location. The staff knew how to speak english and were polite. Internet access was expensive but the speed was decent. The room was big by Hong Kong standards (ie average size). They have 24 hour room service and the metro station was only 2 short blocks away. Would recommend.

The hotel is 1 minute away from the MTR exit (Quarry Bay, exit C) which is convenient. The room was cozy with not much space for luggages, but was adequate for the two of us. The beds were hard but they are typical for many hotels in Asia. The twin beds may be a bit small for westerners. The lounge band plays music nightly at the coffee bar near the foyer which was welcoming when we returned to the hotel to rest after a long day of sightseeing. A nice touch and good idea.

Hotel room is clean and very convenience location in North Point HK Island, is a ideal hotel and reasonable price if you wanna to stay at Hong Kong side, 8 mins by taxi to Causway Bay or you can also able to take the subway to everywhere in HK, its only take 5 mins on foot to the subway, and finally, there are many small and reasonable prices but delicious food shop nearby the hotel.

We stayed 3 nights with 2 childreen (1 and 3 years old). The room with a pentry was just perfect. The airport bus stop is just 50 meters from the hotel entrance. The location was not so centralized. One bad thing was that many taxi drivers did not want to drive to the other side, e.g Tsim Sha Tsui, however it was very close to the metro station from the hotel. It is more convenient to use metro i Hong Kong anyway.

The hotel is just across the mtr station (quarry bay). hotel is located near resident area. if you are looking for a shopping mall it is one station away. there are small eateries around the hotel and a grocery store across the street.overall the location is nice, the hotel staff are also helpful in any way. room not so big, but it is well maintained.

Far from main tourist destination. Small room - average by HK standard. Bathroom does not have vent. room doesn't have heat.

stayed 3 nights with family, good value, plenty of room which is premium for HK.Will definetly stay again. lots of good food places to eat at close by.

The family suite is decently sized but the sofa bed has very thin mattress and poor support. The kids ended up having backache. Another negative point is that the concierge is not always at the drive way when you arrived from the airport, hence you might have to help yourself with the luggage as lobby is 1 floor up. Otherwise, it is a decent hotel which is near to the MTR station and local eatries including a supermarket and McDonalds

Very nice hotel. Bed was big but if you like hard beds you will like this hotel. But I believe all beds in HKG are hard !! Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay again at this hotel. Hotel was close to MTR (trains) - taxi ride to Kowloon was HKG 95.00. This hotel was a little further away from the action. recommend.

We book this hotel the final leg of our trip. To be honest, even though we had stayed in 5 stars all the way, we were sick of hotels. However, this hotel made us feel very comfortable. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The location is excellent: team by the door, the tube is only a couple of minutes away and the hotel has shuttle buses leaving every half hour or so to central station. The neighborhood is quiet but around the hotel there are heaps of shops and restaurants, including banks and a post office. All very convenient. I will certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends that wish to stay on the island rather than Kowloon.

The hotel is very nice and it has a high standard. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. More of a classic hotel. Minus for the location although MTR is just 2min walk away and they have shuttle buses that will take you in to town. Perhaps more suitable for family rather than young couples as it is on the opposite side of SoHo area. Big minus for the 130hkd internet charge. That might have worked in 2001 but now it feels outdated to have to pay for internet.

This was one of the best maintened hotels and is close to the subway stations. Ease of access and comfortable living make it highly desirable!!
