Kings Island Resort and Conference Center - ماسون

The hotel staff was cheerful and helpful. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view over the pool and garden area. It was small but we didn't spend alot of time in it. The hotel buffet breakfast was very good. The shuttle to Kings Island was clean and fast. But if you have a disabled person the walk to the gate can be difficult and driving over to park closer to the gate was worth the $10.00. We enjoyed our stay.

Chose this hotel as it included a tennis court. The courts were a little tatty but playable. The facility is a little aged but the grounds are nice, it is well situated, and it met our needs. The Hotel staff were pleasant but their computer system could use some updating. The check-in process was laborious.

Nothing expensive about it.Also not going out of their way to keep it up or in staff training. So for an inexpensive trip with low expectations, this is your place. Location is great. Surrounding town has plenty to offer but hurts drivin by the Great Wolf lodge while on a budget due to the huge step down in cleanliness and staff.

We rented two room that were supposed to be ajoining but they ended up not being available once we got there - they were across the hall from each other. Staff was all very friendly but check-in took forever!! They have discounted tickets to various places and absolute best part is the shuttle that runs like every 15 minutes to and from Kings Island. Having teens with us that wanted to stay a day longer and also later than us, that was a huge time saver! This is an older hotel but the huge amount of things to do while there - indoor and outdoor pool (only indoor was open when we were there but the water was sooo nice and warm inside!), arcade, playground and onsite restaurants, with room service. We would definately stay there again. There is a movie theatre and lots of places to eat nearby and right across the street from Great Wolf Lodge. We also got a late check-out for 6:00 for a $20.00 which helped us a bunch too!

Kings Island Resort is in dire need of updating and cleaning. It's not dirty, but the bare minimum cleaning effort is what has been done. Our room had a cracked sink, cracked floor tiles, a very unthorough vacuuming job, worn bed linens, and a dirty window. There are things to do on premise like swimming, an arcade, and basketball but I think calling this a resort is a stretch. Both interactions with the staff were very good. The location is great if you are going to Kings Island. There's a free shuttle to the park if you don't want to pay for parking. We booked this at a discount but it was still overpriced.

What is to say, everything was better than expected, minor problem in the beginning which was taken care of rapidly. Nice place and will return.

We had a good experience here. We did not use the resturant or bar, but did access the indoor pool and outdoor pool. Very nice. They let us check in early and that was very helpful. Great location. Older hotel, but well kept and a great deal for the money. Would def stay here again

Hotel was very outdated and our room was very dirty and smelled like mildew, musty like water damage. I was very disappointed, you should not waste your money to stay at this hotel. The only positive thing about the hotel is the shuttle bus to Kings Island and the water park, that was very nice, other than that its not worth it. The carpet looked like it wasnt vacumed and there was hair on the bathroom floor and no vent in the bathroom (very strange). Ceiling had patches all over it (hence the smell of water damage) and it wasnt painted over the repairs, different colors on the ceiling, just plain dirty hotel.

This hotel needs to be remodeled in order to compete with other hotels...next time I should of stayed at a marriott or holiday inn. i know they have clean hotels.

The sheets did not fit on my bed. There was pubic hair all over the bathroom floor. The balcony of the hotel was gross....covered in bird poop, the chairs and table were filthy. The ice machine was so nasty I didnt dare use any. The customer service is horrid!!!

we where impressed with the staff begining with the front desk clerk when we checked in. all where friendly and down to earth. my husband and i very much enjoyed our stay. we do plan on returning again in the very near future with more family members to also enjoy the same experience we have. thank you so much !

This is a great hotel if you are visiting the King's Island Park - literally across the road. It has many of the activities you would expect at a resort and could be a great place to stay for several days. However, it is not so great if you are passing through and just need a place to sleep for the night. The resort attracts families looking for a good time at the park. Those children are also having a good time, but are quite noisy (and the rooms leave a lot to be desired for sound-proofing). It just depends on your reason for staying there....

For the price the hotel was ok. Needed a lot of updating and could be cleaner. Bath towels were small and thin. Pool and hot tub were decent but when we got there a set of teenagers were leaving and while we were there another set showed up to use the hot tub and swim. Their cars were parked right by the pool entrance so we don't think they were guests staying there. Walking paths and lake were nice and nice view to look out at.

We loved the hotel! We stayed in the main building so it was newer. The Pool was right outside our door. Too bad it was to cold to swim, But my kids liked the indoor pool. It was open until midnight which was nice most close by ten. Cant wait to come back!

II came to ride the bike trail that runs behind the nearby King's Island amusement park, and this hotel was amazingly handy to everything: The park, the trail, shopping and restaurants. Plus they also have plenty of amenities in the hotel so you really don't have to leave.

The room was good, pool as well, however the buffet style breakfast was terrible and way overpriced. I would stay there again but go somewhere else to eat.

This was a very nice hotel at a very affordable price during off season. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. The view from your room and all across their property is beautiful!

We've stayed here several times and never had a problem. Very convenient if you're going to King's Island - free shuttle bus.

This hotel was awesome. Check in was quick and easy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Coffee readily available in lobby 24/7 and in your room. Downfilled comforters on the beds. Rooms were immaculate. Pool and spa area was very clean. Also has restaurants and a bar on site. The bar was very clean and the bartender very friendly even as we got alittle loud playing pool. This was a great place to stay to relax and let life pass you by. Walk out balcany so you can smoke if you want to. Easy access to restaurants and a Harley Davidson shop. Can't go wrong staying here.

The hotel is very nice. Nice accomodations and the staff is superb! It could use some sprucing up - it gives the appearance of a 1960's motel but it is definitely a great stay!

Price was right. Just across parking lot from Great Wolf Lodge. Got to use 2nd day of waterpark passes without having to spend $300+ to stay another night there. Room was nothing special, but was affordable and relatively clean. Decor was outdated but room was intact, tv worked, etc. No bells and whistles, but it served its purpose for a good rate.

If you are looking for something upscale, pass on this one. But if you are looking for something with a good price and average amenities, then this is a good bet.

Hotel service is very good, location great. Cleanliness less than perfect. Small peices of paper behind night stand and under beds. Considerable dust on power strip and vents in heater/air conditioner. However, all other surfaces including the bathroom were very clean. Perhaps just a little more attention to the details. But overall the 2nd time I have stayed there and I would stay again. The shuttle to Kings Island is a great convience and is one of the main reasons I like the hotel.

close to kings island only positive

I was in a non-smoking room. However, when I walked in the room smelt kind of funny. Kind of a mildewy kind of smell. The carpet had stains all over it, which didn't make me feel comfortable about taking off my shoes and walking on the carpet. The toilet handle was broke. I had to flush the toilet from the back. Most of the bathroom was clean though, shower area, sink but there were places that could have been cleaned. Like the top of the cleanex holder looked dirty. The sheets were clean though, to my knowledge anyway. I looked really close and felt comfortable sleeping in the bed. Would not stay there again. For the price I expect more.

This was at the end of the summer season so I got a great deal on the room. The hotel and grounds were very nice and staff was courteous. The room was nice and very comfortable.

If you are just looking for a place to crash while going to King's Island this place is OK for that. Free parking and shuttle to the park. As for the room, less than desirable, bathroom sink didn't drain good, had to hold drain open on bathtub, stains on the carpet, fridge needed to be defrosted in the worse way. But again, if you want an easy place to stay for a resonable amount and can put up with a little bit of a mess then you'd be ok here.

Think we just caught some bad luck. The hotel needs some small cosmetic improvements. It's a bit old, and it is showing. Our room was musty, and not as clean as I'd like. But the location is exceptional if going to Kings Island, and the restaurant on site is satisfactory for your needs.

The great thing about the hotel would be the free bus transpertation to Kings Island.

We really liked the hotel. We especially loved the shuttle taking us to and from King's Island. That was definitely a plus! The only suggestion I have would be to fix the water in the showers. We were never able to find a comfortable temperature and have it stay that way. It was either extremely hot or extremely cold. I believe the rooms should have safes too. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. we loved the two queen beds and the fact the room had a couch. the room was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very nice. we loved the breakfast meal tickets that we got at a discount each night. the breakfast buffet was very good each day. we would definately stay at this hotel again. we got pizza for 5 each night when we returned from kings island. the indoor pool and hot tub were fun for the kids to play in and we loved the outdoor pool also.

We had a great stay and was very pleased with accomodations. Shuttle bus was awesome! Our child had a great time in the pools and the exercise room was a great plus!
