Hotel is in a good location, BUT it is in need of a lot of maintenance. We had problems with the bathroom all weekend. One morning we got up and didn't have cold water the next day we had no hot water. The indoor pool was ice cold, so cold my children could not get in it. The place would have to have a lot of maintenance before I would stay there again.

This was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at! There was mold growing on and in the HVAC unit, matress was worn to the point of feeling springs, sheets were too short and kept coming off the corners, rug was dirty, bathroom had cob webs behind the door, shower had independent hot & cold water valves and would go from scalding to cold and the water was light brown in color. Aside being close to Kings Island, it should have been replaced with an up-to-date hotel at least 10 years ago!

I was very disappointed with our stay! We don't get to take the kids away often. I try to find a nice hotel with a nice price. Definitely not worth the money! The indoor heated pool was FREEZING Cold the kids couldn't even swim. The rooms were very outdated and pretty rundown. After talking with other guest they were very unhappy also!

The towels were too thin, small and scratchy. There were 2 floors and no elevator. The hotel was really quiet though and bed and pillows were really comfortable. TV wasn't a flat screen but it worked. This was a good mid range hotel. I felt safe.

Great hotel for the rate. The time we were there they were doing some painting and cleaning up of the facilities so things weren't as crisp as they might have been otherwise. The hotel staff were ok, on check in the girl at the counter wasn't the friendliest of people but she got the job done.

Reading other reviews really scared us but it wasn't that bad. It was a good night stay. The surrounding area wasn't the best but the hotel it self was very OK. Take a chance and enjoy your night.

We stayed here because it was a great ooff season rate. The property is old, but treated with a level of care that is sadly lacking in so many other places. The room was spotless and spacious. Very nice breakfast was a surprise. The grounds are immacukate, and lend a real air of relaxation. I will stay here again, even if I have to pay the full season rate. Less than a mile from the amusement park could be a real bonus for some.

It's locatioin was convenient to the freeway so we could get to our program. Yet there was very little freeway noise spilling over to our room. The room was clean, and Housekeeping was very responsive to our inquiries for extra towels and cups.

I looked for 2 hours for a hotel with an indoor pool in the Cincinnatti area at the end of march. This hotel not only had an indoor pool but a hot tub, game room, and exercise room... I was very pleased and will most likely be back....

I loved the playground. It was a great place for my girls to burn off some steam after being cooped up in the van all day. The staff was very personable and accommodating.

This is certainly a nice place, but it's maintenance is a bit questionable. The desktop lamp did not have a light bulb, the bathroom floor and tub were a bit hairy, and the bed frame stuck out from under the box spring in a manner that resulted in multiple instances of each family member sustaining minor lacerations and bruises. The indoor pool was so cold. The only reason we went was to be able to swim indoors in a heated pool. The jacuzzi was Out Of Order as well.

I thought booking this off-season would be clever. It turns out that when the tourist leave, so do the cleaning staff.

When King's Island is closed, this is a good place to stay on business.

To be quite honest, for attending conventions or trying to stay near Kings Island, this hotel is great. It's clean, comfortable, and convenient. The only problem is it is not really within walking distance of any form of food, but a 5 minute drive and you're right at all kinds of restaurants. All in all, a great place to stay.

I loved the small get away we originally booked one night, and ended up staying two. Loved the large pool and jucuzzi. Can't wait to stay again.

Overall was good place to stay. Like the provided bus to the park. May be back again.

the room was dirty bathroom had hair on the floow i requested it be cleand again . the dresser had the knobs off on all drawers. the room was first level and the glass doors did not lock it was broke therefor there was a extra dead bolt and it was bearly hanging on the wall as to be ready to come off. I was so upset especially since it was not cheap including tax a total rip off

I would recommend this hotel to others who are going to the park. The shuttle was very convenient and the breakfast was wonderful! But, the pool was the coldest we had ever been in. This hotel should put some money into heating it in the future.

Good Quality hotel, for a reasonable price, pool, and hot tub very nice, hotel staff friendly, and helpful. Hotel restaurant was closed, but the bar had a fairly good selection on the menu, with other restaurants nearby. We had the King suite, and found it very comfortable, and nice. Would recommend, and stay there again.

This location is old and shows it's age but it was clean and close to the park. The bus shuttle was awesome. If it was updated it would be great. We will most likely not stay here again. We got this location because of the price. I guess you get what you pay for.......

When I first arrived to the hotel I was given the key to an already occupied room, AWKWARD. The front desk staff was less-than-professional, however the rooms were decent, clean, and affordable. I would stay there again, if I got a good deal.

Hotel staff was very average and not all that helpful. Room was fine. Location to park was great. The shuttle was very convenient and the driver's were very helpful with useful park information.

I can't comment on the conference portion of this hotel as I did not use them. The rates are reasonable and the location cannot be beat for the closeness to King's Island. I was greeted by a friendly staff member at the check-in counter. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a patio to go out on to smoke since this hotel is non smoking. 8/10 for this property.

This hotel is an older property. Decor in the room and lobby is severely outdated. Our room had a comfortable bed, but also several areas where the carpet was stained. The breakfast buffet was average at best, but adequately priced. Overall, this hotel is not elegant, but serves its purpose for those visiting King's Island. Parking is free and a free shuttle to the park is offered all day in 1/2 intervals.

Refrigerator so nosy had to unplug it to sleep. Halls and outside of building needed spruce up. Trash cans by outside doors needed emptying-smelly. Interior of room cleaner than outside. Shower had mold in grout. Just there one night. Would not stay there again as price for room too high for quality of accommodation. Room A/C turned so high room so cold we had to turned heat on which smelled terrible. .

Very convenient if you are attending the tennis tournament. The accommodations are of moderate quality but relatively inexpensive.

THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE FLOOR IN BATHROOM. CHOCOLATE CAKE AND GRAPES ON CARPET. MIRRORS WERE FILTHY. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN. WE COMPLAINED BUT IT DID NO GOOD. WE WERE THERE 3 DAYS AND OUR ROOM NEVER WAS CLEAN!!!

Wonderful hotel and services

Got this room because of rate and location. read a bunch of reviews and thought it couldn't be that bad for one night but it was! Carpet was stained with what was definitely puke, bath tube was nasty and spent the whole night worried about bed bugs. Defintiely NOT worth the convenience of being close to Kings Island. Only nice thing was the shuttle to the park and the driver was great. Breakfast was nasty too! We would have asked for another room but the place was full and so was every other hotel in the area. I can not believe that Kings Island actually put their name on this place. Realized in the morning part of why the place is so gross, there were around 10 teenagers that were in charge of cleaning the rooms were we were at. Do you honestly think they clean their own rooms very good? They are certainly not going to want to clean up after other people. I would rather drive home and back the next day than stay here ever again.

We didn't choose the hotel because of its proximity to the Amusement Park, (but if we had, it would have been VERY convenient for that). The hotel's location northeast of Cincinnati afforded us a 24-mile head start toward our next destination, Detroit. The hotel was close enough to Cincinnati to be convenient for the baseball game we went to see there. The hotel's location in Mason, (a perfectly nice suburb), provided all the comforts of any other US suburb. While very clean and comfortable, some of the property is beginning to show some age, (perhaps because it virtually sits in the shadow of the gigantic and brand-new-looking Wolf Creek Lodge that looms across the street). Despite the family oriented Amusement Park crowd, the place was relaxed and quiet.

A very nice hotel that is the closest to the park. This has been there for a while and they have done a great job keeping it up to date. Will stay there again for sure next time I visit Kings Island.

It was a really nice hotel but the checking in process was crazy and very unorganized. I booked through hotels.com and the lady kept insisting that I booked through Expdeian, which I knew that I hadn't. Then she insisted that my card wasn't charged when I knew it was and ran it through a second time. I have checked into hotels many times and have never had a check in this unorganized and waited at least 30 minutes to even get to the counter to check in.

Location was our main concern and this location was excellent. Used the "old school bus" to be transported to to park. Bus was a little antiquated but served it's purpose. Hotel was very clean and neat from lobby to hallways to room. You can tell this hotel was built in late 1960's, early 1970's. Rooms were small but were just big enough to accomodate a family of 4. Bathrooms were really small, one at a time was the max in it at anytime. If your using hotel for simply a place to relax and have easy access to park I would definitely recommend Kings Island Resort & Conference Center.

I STAYED ON JULY 4TH AND 5TH. IT WAS GREAT THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, EVERYTHING WORKED AND THE BUS DRIVERS WAS GREAT WE WENT TO THE BEACH ON THE 4TH AND WERE THE ONLY ONES FROM THE HOTEL THAT DAY THAT WENT TO THE BEACH AND THE BUS DROVE US OVER AND I CALLED HIM WHEN WE WERE READY TO LEAVE AND HE CAME AND PICKED US UP. I HAVE READ A LOT OF BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE BUT I FOUND THAT IT WAS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE BREAKFAST ROOM DID KINDA SMELL LIKE MILDEW AND THE POOL HAD CLOSED DOWN ON TUESDAY BUT THEY KEPT THE OUTDOOR POOL OPEN TILL 12AM. AND PEOPLE SHOULD NOT LET KIDS IN THE HOT TUB THAT KINDA MADE ME MAD. I WILL COME BACK EVERY TIME WE GO TO KINGS ISLAND FROM NOW ON.

i was very disapointed with the overall condition of the hotel. the beds were outdated and very uncomfortable. the pool was out of order. the ice machine was not working on our floor. the room had a terrible musty odor. i had two kids with me who were looking forward to the indoor pool, which was drained and not available during our entire stay. very overpriced for what you get. the only good thing was the ease of getting to kings island. will never stay there again.

Our stay was a pleasant one. However, the room could have been updated, example new carpet. The help in the lounge was also inexperienced.

POOL ITSELF SLIMY AND DIRTY, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. DIRTY SURROUNDINGS, RUNDOWN HOTEL, DIRTY FLOORS WITH ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AND PLUGS STANDING OUT IN HALLWAY, BED BUGS FOUND ON WALL AND ON MATTRESS. CLOSE TO KINGS ISLAND BUT NOT WORTH IT. MARRIOTT IS NEXT EXIT UP, NICE HOTEL..EVEN AT MIDNIGHT WHEN WE FINALLY GOT OUT OF BED BUG PIT!!

Stayed for one night while at King's Island for two days. Hallway could be more clean and better upkeep but room was comfortable, easily accessible, and a great location to the park. Bus services to King's Island was a plus with friendly drivers who kept to the schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs.
