The Savoy, A Fairmont Managed Hotel - لندن

I have stayed in many fine hotels around the world. This is one of the best, if not the best. London is a beautiful city and the Savoy is located in the best, central location. Walk to theatres, Covent Gardens (great restaurants) and the tube station (Charing Cross) is just a block away. Definitely worth the price for they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect, which it was. The rooms are quiet and the beds so comfortable. Bathrooms amazing too. Will be back on next visit.Only wish the weather was better!

We visited for a birthday celebration and were advised that we were unable to have a drink in either bar whilst a 15yr old child was with us. They offered a quiet corner in an empty function room to have a drink or cocktails! The hotel was clean, staff were very attentive but disappointed with their policy on both of their bars

This hotel has superb decoration and friendly service. The only drawback is that the room is small considering the price paid. The Grill restaurant has excellent service and food.

you hear alot about The Savoy, however the reality is much much better! From the moment you enter the lobby right up to when you leave, everything about the hotel is beyond expectations. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the room was uber-clean (I am fussy about such things), the american bar is wonderful- from the waiters to the crooner to the amazing cocktails. It was my partner's birthday, so we were greeted with a delicious cake in our room. I have extremely high standards, and The Savoy reached all of them... If this is on your list, do it. you will be so very glad you did.

Had a lovely time at the Savoy. Our room was not available on check in so received a free upgrade and a complementary cocktail in the American Bar whilst we waited. We eat in the Savoy Grill on our 2nd night the service was fantastic. Would love to stay at this hotel again in the future.

We had booked 2 nights at The Savoy in their Grand Deluxe Rooms for a business trip. When we arrived, one of the rooms had a smell of cigarette smoke, and when we brought this up to the management they went out of their way to make it up to us and were extremely apologetic. They upgraded us to a Junior Suite instead, and invited us for free drinks in The Beuafort Bar. The whole experience at this hotel was amazing. The staff is incredibly professional, and always go the extra mile in order to make you feel important and have a great stay. The food at the hotel is terrific too. We had both breakfast and dinner in the rooms on several occasions, and it was really good. We also tried the Savoy Grill, and had such a good time the first night that we booked a table for the second night as well. It was simply THAT good. Originally we had booked our stay for two nights, but after our check out, we all decided that we have had such a great time that we went back and booked one more night in their suites with river view. That was truly one amazing night, and I recommend everyone to try these suites. The butler service which is included is amazing as well, and the view is stunning. All in all, the first experience in this hotel was so great, that we all felt depressed leaving this place. The Savoy is simply the best of the best, and the service was outstanding from beginning to end.

Have stayed in many hotels throughout the world including the sister hotel, The Plaza New York and found the Savoy to be a nice enough hotel, although I have stayed in better. For what you pay and what you expect from a 1st class world renowned hotel, you shouldn't be reporting torn net curtains in the suite to the reception staff - this just shouldn't happen. Many many plus points though and overall a very pleasant stay. Just a small question over whether it's worth the money or not? Close enough to the sights of London and very handy for theatres, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.

First time I have stayed, will probably return, but they have got to fix the Internet connections if they want to keep business customers. Wifi in the room was sketchy and the wired jack didn't work at all. Despite complaining several times and several promises to fix (a booster for the wifi was mentioned as well as promises to fix the wired socket) during my 5 night stay and I wasn't the only one experiencing problems. Thank goodness the Internet was free with presidents club membership.

There is not much to say about the Savoy other than that it is beautiful, has wonderful service and lives up to its reputation in every way. There aren't many UK hotels that have such high levels of service it is on a par with some of the larger luxury chains such as Shangri La / Traders and Four seasons. Only negative with my stay was that it wasn't long enough!

All in all an enjoyable stay. Couple of things were annoying though:- (a) charging for use of Hotel Wifi: do not expect this in any hotel nowadays when cafes offer it for free; (b) toiletries not replenished daily or at all; (c) I was sharing the room with my teenage daughters: had to ask and wait a long time for extra bed and extra shower robe despite the booking being clear and the following day had to ask again for another robe as the third one was taken back!

fantastic hotel well worth the extra money

This really is a great hotel. Stayed there for our first night 47 yrs ago and waited a long time to go back. Service is impeccable, ALL staff greet you wherever (corridor included) with a smile and greeting. American Bar was a favourate watering hole before. Excellently appointed room and B/R. Very comfortable mattress and pillows! We will be back

Wonderful turn back in history for history buffs! Great "American Bar" which only takes reservations, but for hotel guests they make special accomodations. Great place to see and be seen and close to all things in the theater district.Management very helpful.

The best of the best, treated us like Gods. Parked and looked after our car, an old Rolls Royce. even encouraged us to use the secure car park when not even resident, which i have done recently to visit a show in the West end. So overall, a super place to visit. Thankyou

What a treat! This place has all the fabulous trappings of what makes hotels incredible. These guys do it right. You must go to the American Bar for a real classic cocktail. The service, room appointments, and food were all fantastic.

Impeccable in every way. Prices are steep - but, after all, it's the SAVOY!!!!

Everything was superb a memorable stay. Would highly recommend as a venue to visit the sights of london

The temperature in the room was to hight. Not possible to put the thermostat for room temp. lower than 18,5´ C at night. Actually the room temp. was more than 20´C.

This was my first stay at the Savoy and I was impressed. Everything was first class. I stopped in the American Bar: the drinks and service were great. The pianist played and sang song after song with enthusiasm even though the crowd was busy drinking and talking, apparently paying little attention. Had an excellent breakfast in the River restaurant. Will certainly be back next time I'm in London.

Your travel experience is extremely important to us and we want to hear about it.: it was the most amazing hotel we have stayed in the staff were very helpful food fab will love to go back and spend more time there theatre was in walking distant as was covent garden and otther interest

Trės bonne situation,proche d'un grand nombre de sites touristiques à pied.Personnel très acceuillant.Le petit plus serait de prevoir des formules chambres+ petit déjeuner.

Notre voyage de 4 nuits a Londre en famille au SAVOY fut merveilleux. accueil chaleureux personel prevenent aux petit soin a l ecoute de tous vos desirs ,le chef barman un francais nous a prepare tous les cocktails que nous lui demandions avec le sourire. je vous recommande les 2 restarants de l hotel LE RIVER et LE GRILL de GORDON RAMSEY on y mange tres bien avec un tres bon service. LE SAVOY est digne de son frere de PARIS LE GEORGES V ce n est pas un hasard. Nous y retournons en juin car a nos yeux c est plus qu un hotel c est une GRANDE MAISON

Unsere Erwartungen wurde bei weitem übertroffen: Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden, Dienstleistung des Concierge, Qualität Restaurants.

Fantastisk hotel, ekstraordinær god service. Det er det bedste hotel vi har boet på.

　今回の旅行は、出発直前に、目的地のﾛﾝﾄﾞﾝで若者の社会騒動が勃発したので、観光情報のみならず治安状況なども事前にﾒｰﾙで尋ねたが、これらの依頼には全て数時間以内に的確な返答がなされ、当方は安心して旅立つことが出来た。出発前の依頼事項でも、伝統のＰｒｏｍｓｺﾝｻｰﾄのﾁｹｯﾄは、時間的なことからこちらの希望は伝えなかったが、良い席が手配されていたし、ﾊﾞｯｷﾝｶﾞﾑ参観も残り3席の内の2席を入手するなど、老舗ﾎﾃﾙの実力もｻｽｶﾞと思った。その上、これらの依頼事項については、ﾁｹｯﾄ類の購入手続きも含めて〝Ｃｏｎｆｉｒｍａｔｉｏｎ　Ｍａｉｌ”と言う形で、日本出発2日前に整理し送信されて来るという大変ｽｯｷﾘした管理体制に感心すると共に、安心して心置きなく出発することが出来た。 　現地ではホテル従業員の接客態度がこれまた素晴らしかった。Ｃｏｎｃｉｅｒｇｅは全員が当方の質問、依頼事項には的確、迅速、且つ簡潔に対応し、買物などでは、些細なものでも一緒に行って遣ると言い出す始末で、断るのに苦労することもあったほど見事なものであった。これらの態度は、Chief conciergeのＢ．Ｍ．氏の親切で明るく活き活きとしたお人柄とその見事な指導性に依るものであろう。ﾚｽﾄﾗﾝのｽｯﾀﾌも、片言英語に懸命に耳を傾け、内容を察し、希望を叶てくれた。その他receptionistなども同様で、ﾎﾃﾙ　ｽﾀｯﾌ全員が、客に快適なﾎﾃﾙ生活を送ってもらおうと、一丸となって対応しようとしている〝暖かい熱気”が充満した、一流のﾌﾟﾛ意識に徹しているﾎﾃﾙと感じた。 　ﾎﾃﾙ出発に際しては、Ｃｈｉｅｆ conciergeとreceptionistのﾏﾈｼﾞｬｰが見送りに来て、直々にﾀｸｼｰを手配してくれたが、当日の早朝には、ﾎﾃﾙでの使用経費明細が部屋に届けられていたことも親切なことで、素晴らしい接客hospitarity,事前及び滞在中の迅速、的確、客に安心を与える対応などなど、よくここまでｽﾀｯﾌを訓練し、各部門も含めｵｰｶﾞﾅｲｽﾞしたことと感心した次第であった。 　今回の旅は、伝統と快適性がよくﾏｯﾁした落ち着いた雰囲気の客室、三つの性格の異なるﾚｽﾄﾗﾝの展開、市中心部のﾃｰﾑｽ河畔という立地性、先述のﾎﾃﾙﾏﾝｼｯﾌﾟなど一流のものに接した満足感を得た旅で、若干のｺｽﾄｱｯﾌﾟもそれを補って余りあるように思った。　　　　　　以上
