Excellent service, very clean hotel, brilliant location!, could note fault this hotel, we booked in for 3 nights for our arrival to Australia and it was exactly what we needed after traveling straight from the U.K., In future trips to Brisbane we will definitely be staying here!

The hotel is well located and has a very friendly, helpful staff. But dispite the lovely sandstone building it is housed in, there is no old world charm. A hugh movie screen dominates the open plan eating/bar area and at night loud, live music makes it impossible to have a discreet dinner.It was like eating in a Pub. Also the food was very salty.

Really enjoyed the locality of the Rendevouz Hotel. Close to Roma St, City, walking distacne to Southbank and acros form Central Station. The staff were especially attentive, freindly and helpful. Our only problem was we love fresh air and to have the window open we had to listen to the 'rave' music from the backpacker hostel bar across the road on the Friday night. Next time we visit, and we WILL, we will ask for a different wing in the hotel.

One night only for business mtg. Very convenient location. More charm / elegance than most hotels. Comfortable. Lifts out for half the building a little inconvenient, otherwise all good.

I went to this hotel alone for 2 nights on early April. I went to Brisbane for an exam, so being in a quiet place before the exam was my main concern. Though it was opposite the central train station and sorounded by 3 or 4 clubs an pubs, i did not have any problem with noises at nights even at weekend time. There are old-fashioned frames from outside which were covered by another window from inside to protect from noises. It is only 5 minutes walk to the nice queen st with shopping centres and 10 minutes walks to catch a furry. unfortunately i didnt have enough time to spend there I didnt have meal at its resturant but i didnt like its coffee Its not a luxury hotel but still clean and tidy I got a suit in the first floor, whuch i think wasnt the best floor, and probably for singles!!!!! When i got there , there was no obe to help me with my baggage to lift up the fron stairs, thout it was nt heavy Overall, i found it located in a convenient location, and if i decide to go to brisbane, i will consider this hotel again, if offers a good price like this time ;)

Had an excellent stay over the weekend at the Rendezvous for my girlfriends birthday. Coffee machine was very handy and the mini bar prices were excellent. The included breakfast was your standard buffet affair so don't expect the world here. We tried to do some washing in the room but couldn't get the drier to work. While we were at breakfast the cleaning staff took our wet clothes, washed, dried and folded them for us, while we waited 45mins past our checkout time in the room. Overall it was a great stay and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Don't bother booking a room if your over 170cm tall! Shower head in bathroom is way to low for a reasonable height person. Not to mention woeful water pressure like having a shower in the rain and speaking of rain make sure you pack your own umbrella because the hotel doesn't have enough to go around as we found out whilst it was bucketing down outside. Hope your good at directions too because they are far too lazy to even show you to your room. We have had 10 times better service in a 2.5 star hotel in Thailand. I'd rather fly an extra 5 hours to go there than come back here!

Reception,,prompt friendly efficient.Suite well equipped clean and comfortable.General ambience ...gentile ,quiet and comfortable.I found it relaxing.

The studio room had a Queen bed and although compact, had sufificient facilities for an overnight stay in the City. The bed was comfy and lovely crisp white sheets and nicely decorated. The room was extremely clean and tidy, which is often more important that more space. The Hotel is well located and only $10 in a taxi to Fortitude Valley. I didnt need the train on this stay but it is located directly oppiste Central Station. Overall, the stay was great and would recommend it to anyone who needs an overnighter in the city.

Perfectly placed in the city Courteous staff at all times. Very happy with all aspects. Valet parking just bliss for someone from out of town. We'll be back.

Excellent hotel. Very convenient location- central rail station across the road. Our room was very nicely presented, spacious, and quiet. We were very impressed with the staff- top quality service. Enjoyed a lovely dinner and drinks in the bar and restaurant . Could not fault this hotel and would recommend to anyone.

my husbane and I had a great getaway weekend here the room was quite and clean and the staff were very friendly. Two thumbs up

Very well situated opposite Central Railway station, a 15 minute walk to South Bank and only two blocks from the Mall. Concierge parking a very convenient service. We were down to watch the tennis - the hotel televisions have not been converted to digital which was disappointing because there was no coverage available once we'd left Pat Rafter Tennis Centre. Air-conditioning to our room was not as effective as it could be. Not a huge wine selection - esp. in the Sauvignon Blanc department - in fact the one on offer is from Nelson, nothing like other quality New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs in either clarity, bouquet or taste. But, we'll be back.

I found the service excellant. Tthe hotel upgraded us to an apartment which had 3 rooms. Bathroom with bath, lounge room with a wall kitchen and a separate double bedroom. Highly recommend this Hotel. Central station across the road, Queen Street Mall for shopping 1 block away, Catch the train to Southbank for the theatres, pool and parklands 2 stops.

I have been traveling a bit through Australia and this room was by far, the best we have been in. It was pretty and cozy, was large enough for two, had many conveniences and was in a great location. We had to leave early the next morning for the airport, I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definately go back. The service was also wonderful. I asked questions how to get around and they were very helpful and courteous.

It was a hotel with good services and couldn't forget the smiling faces of the front desk Conceirges and their ever smiling faces. I will put all 4 grade if the hotel not located next to an Ka La OK, I could not sleep on the Friday night until its music stopped after mid night. Also, the room of my first two nights were fantastic. Silent and comfortable. My last night was a nightmare, the low frequency noise continued to disturb my brain after the music of the Ka La OK stopped. Hope the hotel could improve.

Ideally located. Railway across the road with connection to ariport. Walk anywhere with the CBD. Clean and quiet.

I enjoyed our stay at the Rendevous as it was close to everything we needed and the hotel was very efficent. We had internet access and we found the staff to be helpful and courtious. i would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again and would recommend it to my friends.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The location was really good being opposite central station as we needed to be at the international airport by 9.0a.m. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Lived up the billing in other reviews that this was a nice place. Compared to US hotels, it was on par or above. If you aren't sure, this is a good hotel. A couple issues about their "advertising". 1) Free internet yes, but only for 1 3-hour block a day. So, if like me, you wanted to skype back to the US, you had to use your 3 hours at 6am and then that was it for day - no ability to get online at the end of the day then. 2) I swear I saw a pic of a washing machine in a room - not so, and the laundry service is expensive (but I don't have any experience to compare it to, so it may be on par with other hotels). I ate in the restaurant for b-fast a couple time, after walking around Brisbane, prices seemed fair. B-fast buffet was decent, very salty and obviously powdered eggs. Roasted tomatoes were awesome. Being right across from the train and having a free bus loop stop right out front is hugely convenient. Had an issue with the people in the room next store partying all night. It's an old style hotel with the doors that open between rooms and paper thing walls, BUT, one call to the front desk and it was dealt with. If you are like I was, and trying to figure out if this hotel will be like those in the US - it is, it is a good place to stay, and I think you'll be comfortable.

Very good central city location, room and services were very impressive. Suited our needs (self contained) perfectly, will definitely being staying there again.

Just in front of central station- easy to take train to and from airport. Hotel appearance not bad, reception was nice. Room was very tiny though, bathroom was smelly. The neighborhood was noisy at night. The hotel room was equipped with double glassed windows but external glasses were cracked.

I know we all shop around on the internet to get the best deal for a hotel, but I think there is some communication breakdown between these other parties and the hotels themselves. We had booked two single beds in a studio thru Hotels.com and all the confirmation emails stated as much, but what was there on check-in? A queen bed. We were upgraded to a one bedroom but the second bed seemed to take a while to come. In-house communication seems to be a bit lacking too. Overall cleanliness quite good, floors could have done witha vac tho. Computer and printer available to guests at reception, just saw it there, staff were not upfront about sharing details of the hotels facilities.

Great room. Free upgrade when I arrived. Most of the staff were pleasant and happy to help. Very convenient to have a free computer and printer in the lobby when i had to check in to my flight. Literally opposite the road from central station. Convenient in every way possible.

Very well maintained hotel. Room was very clean with excellent amenities. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I trvel to Brisbane. BR

Very central location for this Hotel. Rooms were good but a little dark. Have everything that we needed though.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Rendesvous Hotel in Brisbane. The hotel is very centrally located, being right opposite Central Train Station, and a short walk to the Queen Street Mall. I was concerned that the noise might be a problem, but I never heard a single train, and slept like a baby in the comfortable beds. The staff were fantastic too! Couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I would cerainly reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenient, well-priced and comfortable accommodation in the heart of Brisbane, close to public transport.

We booked a studio room with twin beds - perfect for two gal pals! The room was small, but very comfy, clean and nicely decorated. The weather was beautiful and great shops were right across the street, so we weren't in the room except to sleep. We walked all over town and never needed to use public transport except for the train to the airport which was very convenient. We'll be back!

It was a wonderful surprise to find the hotel located directly across the street from Central Train Station and within walking distance to everything in the CBD. Hotel was lovely and staff extremely courteous and very helpful. Although our room faced the street at a busy intersection, it was surprisingly quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Lovely to sty and close to the city center ~ beware if you take the car as parking is double local car parking and not mentioned

Quick weekend stay in the CBD was made perfect by the quality and location of the hotel. Friendly staff, very cosy and clean rooms with everything at your disposition. Also, bonus upgrade was given upon check-in. Overall, a great place to stay. Definitely recommended!

A well presented, roomy & stylish one bed unit. Just outside the front door free Brisbane city loop bus stop. Just across the road Central Station for Airtrain to and from Brisbane Int and Domestic airport, then south to the Gold Coast (1 hour south). Just inside the door quiet comfort lounge and Berkleys restaurant - delicious food. Excellent price and location for a beautiful Brisbane holiday in June (not too hot)

Convenient for station to offload bags and then explore. Free circular bus stops outside the door. Bonus of French Connection toiletries.

I was delighted that not only did this hotel live up to the description but far exceeded it. Upon arriving at the hotel with my hotels.com reservation, I was told that I had a special business premium package, which included 1 free item from the minibar per day of my stay. I was even told the $20 bottles of wine would count as only one item if I pleased. I helped myself to chocolate, water, and gatorade. This was not in the hotels.com description so YMMV. In my usual anti-social paranoid manner I left the "Do not disturb" sign on my door the entire stay. Despite this, I found fresh towels waiting outside my door about every other day in plastic bags. I've never seen any hotel do this for me and was very happy. Location was excellent, right across the street from central station (direct line to the airport), a block away from Queen street mall. and 3 blocks from the hottest clubs downtown. Minor gripes: breakfast buffet was mediocre at best, water leaked out of my shower and soaked the floor every time it was used, internet worked fine most of the time but crawled at the busiest times of the day. Despite minor issues, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Coming in from the Brisbane Airport the hotel is just a few minutes walk away which makes it very convenient. I was upgraded on arrival to a one bedroom apartment which was very comfortable. Daily papers were provided and the hotel had a very comfortable lobby/library in which to read them.

We were greeted pleasantly by the attendant and were given an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment. The layout was very nice and allowed for a great night's sleep, as the street noise and lights could not be heard in the bedroom. We had 3 hours of free wifi and the front desk was very helpful in coordinating transportation. Our order of 2 Napoli-style pizzas took less than 30 minutes for room service to deliver, and we were quite pleased with the food. My only criticism would be the cost of a taxi from the airport, which ran AUD$48 from Yellow Cab heading to the hotel and AUD$38 from Black and White Cab heading back to the airport. However, if you want to be in the city and experience the nightlife, this is a great location!
