Great location in Positano

FABULOUS !!!!

The concierge was fantastic. They helped us with all our needs, including transporation and tours. The room was a nice size and immaculate, the bathroom immaculate and best shower in italy! Large balcony with table and chairs to enjoy eating and watching the sun set over the sea. The hotel restaurant had fabulous food and service. Thank you Carlos for the delicious Margaritas and making our stay so beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Tony the breakfast host was terrific. Don't miss out on the best hotel ever!!!!

We loved Eden Roc, even though the room was a little dowdy, but spacious and clean, and the bathroom was modern and comfortable. We had a huge plant- and flower-filled balcony with an amazing view of beautiful Positano and the sea. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superlative, with staff going out of their way to please every guest with customized menu items. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Eden Roc - our family stayed there in October 2012 and loved it; staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, our view was wonderful with private terrace. Highly recommended!

We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Eden Roc. The staff was very welcoming and ready to accommodate our every need. The hotel's intimate balcony restaurant featured delicious dishes and a spectacular view of the mountains and coast. The breakfast was a hearty start to the day. The swimming pool was a refreshing respite to warm day. A very pleasant experience indeed!

We stayed for 2 nights in October 2012. We are a family of 5. We booked a junior suite. The room was tight for 5 people but we managed for the 2 nights. The staff are wonderful, always very friendly and accommodating. The location is approx a 10 minute walk down the hill to the 'beach'. We loved postiano and wished we had stayed an extra night or two. One thing we did do was have a massage and I must say it was very ordinary indeed - give this a miss!! This however was our only negative on what was a wonderful stay.

Overall the service and staff make it 5 star!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Eden Rock. Great location, clean, large rooms, very helpful staff and great views. I can'T say enough good things about this hotel. Definitely recommend staying here.

Our dates were booked wrong and when we arrived they did not have a room available for us for one of the nights so we had to go to another nearby hotel and pay for an additional fee a room for the night stay. Then we went back to the hotel an were upgraded to a larger room for the next 2 nights. To make up for our loss the owner graciously comped our lunch which was very much appreciated after the inconvenience and loss that was incurred.

Wonderful. I traveled all throughout Europe and it was the best service and the nicest staff. They were so helpful and everyone seemed to love their jobs and care about your needs. Loved Eden Roc

The service at Eden Roc was the best service out of any hotel I've ever stayed at! They bend over backwards for you, and the staff is all genuinely friendly and happy to help. Starting with breakfast, Tony is a hoot with his extravagent hospitality and remembers your coffee orders on the first day for the remainder of your trip! The front desk helped us with numerous requests including a taxi for 330am on our departure day. They even looked up the traffic/construction report for that day and found a bridge was under construction and recommended we leave even earlier. I wished the decor of the room was a little more modern but that's the only negative thing to say. The view from the rooftop where the pool and terrace for dinner is amazing! I would recommend finding the shortcuts down to the beach (there are two of them) to make the trip to the beach and back shorter.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Eden Roc. The staff were all wonderful, especially Tony, who even brought us fresh figs from his own garden on our last day. The room was comfortable and the view was magnificent. We enjoyed the pool and had lunch on the pool balcony a couple of times, which was wonderful. The breakfast buffet each morning was spectacular and delicious! We would definitely come back and would recommend it to others.

The staff above all were the best I have experienced in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Extremely happy, friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite with private hot tub and the rooms were very clean. The location was very good, 5 minute walk to town. The pool is small and the terrace restaurant quaint (it could probably be updated with better furniture, but very typical in Italy). It's a small, quaint hotel.

Staff, location & service

My family and I just returned and cannot recommend Hotel Eden Roc more highly. The service was excellent, the hotel was wonderful and the location was perfect.

I can't say enough good things about the experience that my wife and I recently had at Eden Roc Positano. I'd like to start out by stating that we are seasoned travelers, and have been all over the world. That being said, I can honestly say that the level of service at this wonderful small hotel was perhaps the best we have ever experienced. From the parking attendant to the front desk, from waitresses to the owner, the staff at Eden Roc were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding, as long as you have a reasonably high level of cardiovascular fitness. If you don't, Positano may not be your best vacation choice. You are walking up and down hills and stairs all during your visit to the town. The rooftop pool was small, but quite nice, and the hotel's view was outstanding! We hope to return one day soon.

Hotel Eden Roc staff were by far the biggest selling point. All staff were very helpful, spoke English when we struggled with Italian, provided anything we needed (neighborhood maps, electric converters, additional towels, help with the key, etc.), and were really really lovely. This includes everyone from front desk staff, waiters in the restaurant and staff who help on the terrace and the pool. After traveling and staying in apartment-style B&Bs for several days, the staff made Eden Roc feel worth every penny. In addition to them, the views are ASTOUNDING. The rooftop pool and sun chairs, and sun chairs on the deck were great, and the continental breakfast spread was gorgeous, abundant and delicious. Compared to the American Best Western-style continental breakfast, Eden Roc made it feel like we were starting each day with a little extra luxury. The hotel IS at the top of the hill, which can be disheartening if you want to go get dinner at the end of a long day, but I think the views are most certainly worth the hike (and ultimately, if you're in Positano, you should be ready for the hill no matter what). Add a jaccuzzi tub, and there's really not much else you can ask for.

We had so much fun at this hotel! The staff was amazing and so friendly. We drove in and arrived at 1am- just exhausted. The staff took over everything. Took our bags, the cars, and guided us into the restaurant for a cocktail and something to eat. They were so apologetic that the restaurant was closed but offered to make some "snacks." Well, platters of meats and cheeses and breads came out. The housekeeping was fabulous- they cleaned everything every single day! The only thing was that it was warm- in March and no air conditioning. We kept the french doors open but it was warm in the room. I would recommend bringing a fan! Otherwise- everything was great!

This hotel is in a great location and it is adorable! Fairly small with great little touches. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in a suite and my only complaint is that the bedroom was not a separate room. It was only separated by a curtain from the rest of the room. It still worked out for us. The bathroom was really big. The view from the balcony was AMAZING! it was a walking distance to the village and beach. If you wanted to eat in one of the restaurants further up in the hills, the hotel staff will call the restaurant to send a car for you (free of charge). I highly recommend doing that! The staff was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful.

Overlooking the Mediterranean the hotel has a fantastic view. Tucked away in the midst of the coastline and away from the madding crowd a great place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable.Had a wonderful time in Positano.Since we were driving we had no problems in visiting the most revered sights and enjoyed the drive in the hills with the sharp hair pin curvature of the roads.The hotel has a garage which comes with an additional charge and so our car was safe.

I highly recommend staying at the Eden Roc in Positano. The room was large and comfortable. The service was very friendly and helpful. The balcony was huge for a hotel and the view is breathtaking. The property itself is well taken care of and we really enjoyed watching the sunset one evening on the rooftop deck. It's also very close to the bus stop which is nice when you're lugging heavy bags. It is a 10 min hike coming back up from the beach so if you're not Ok with walking uphill then maybe this isn't the one for you. But if you're not Ok with walking uphill then Positano in general is not for you. You're also probably better off avoiding the hotel restaurant - we ate there one night when it was raining and it was alright but you can do a lot better.

The hotel is awesome located, near the Sita bus 2nd stop and also the center of Positano (is a big walk from the Piaggia Grande) but still is a great location to enjoy everything, restaurant, beach, souvenir stores, and the view etc. I got a 1 floor room, (2nd floor) I was afraid about the noise from the street, but really is not as bad as I read in other reviews. They keep the bedrooms really clean, they do an awesome job with that... not iron in italians hotels, we used their laundry service reasonable priced!. The people who work at the Eden Roc are very nice and always with a smile, and if you need help with information, they are always available and open to give it to you, just ask. No problem communicating either. they speak English. besides if you go to to another country, try at least to learn and used few words! not everything has to be ENGLISH! for that matter stay in US. I do have one suggestion: they should improve the breakfast, (presentation, flavor and variety) I wasn't too impress, but the waiters there were very attentive. :-) I had the best 4 nights there, and I will recommend this hotel

The staff at Eden Roc could not do enough to make sure our honeymoon in Positano was amazing. They brought champagne to our room when we checked in, made excellent restaurant recommendations, coordinated restaurant reservations and shuttles, brought breakfast to our room when we overslept and missed it, made sure there were enough lounge chairs on the pool deck, and were available to answer our every question on what to do and see on the Amalfi Coast and how to get around. Also the view from both our room and the pool deck was stunning. The website photos of the pool don't do it justice. The late afternoon photos we took from the pool deck as the sun set behind the cliffs were some of the best of our entire trip. Thank you Eden Roc -- we can't wait to return to Positano!

호텔 에덴록의 한국 평이 별로 없어서 많이 걱정했는데 생각 이상으로 좋았습니다~ 뷰가 좋았던 것은 말 할 것도 없고(오션뷰 스윗룸이었나?), 스탭분들도 친절하고 쾌활해서 기분이 밝아지는 휴가를 보냈습니다 ! 시타버스를 타고 오면 정거장이 근처에 있는 걸로 알고 있습니다만 저는 페리를 타고 와서 페리선착장에서 짐끌고 올라오느라 땀뻘뻘 ㅋ 남부는 역시 뜨겁더군요~ 페리선착장 근처에서 위로 짐실어주는 서비스 하시는 분들이 계시는거 같더라구요. 조식은 평범합니다. 한국분들께도 유명한 부르노?식당도 근처에 있어서 밤에도 이용하기 편했습니다~ 암튼 추천추천!

포지타노에서는 추천 할 만한 호텔. 하지만 너무 최고를 바라면 실망함. 그냥 괜찮은 별 4개짜리 호텔이라고 보시고 가면 괜찮을 듯.

Excellent location in Positano during the pre-season presenting a perfect service and comfortable rooms. Weather beginning of April 2013 was sometimes a little bit too rainly and too cold. The Alfamatina is an exciting coast street, but it needs much time to get by car to Positano and from there to other places. (Capri, Amalfi, Sorrent, Salerno, Paestum, Pompeij, Naples). In Positano you find a lot of nice shops and restaurants, however on the high price-level.

No es sencillo calificar de excelente un hotel. Este sin duda merece este calificativo. El establecimiento en sí está impecablemente conservado. Su personal todo es sumamente atento y solícito a las necesidades del huésped. Está en una ubicación excelente para llegar con el auto y no tener que ingresar en las diminutas calles de Positano y en la puerta misma del hotel para el bus Interno Positano que conduce a todos los lugares de interés dentro de Positano. Por todo ello. Excelente. Volveré al mismo hotel sin duda. -

uno de los mejores hoteles en que me he alojado desde estambul a nueva york. excelente atenciòn, amabilidad fuera de lo comun.

Vi bodde på Hotell Eden Roc i tre nätter under vår bröllopsresa. Det var ett kanonhotell med underbar utsikt över Positano och det fantastiska medelhavet. Vårt rum var mycket rymligt, rent, fin balkong och sköna sängar. Personalen på hotellet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma under hela vår vistelse. En annan smidig sak var att hotellet erbjuder parkering i ett intilliggande garage vilket var mycket smidigt när man anlände och även när man kulle åka därifrån.
