Swissotel Sydney - سيدن

I was so satisfied. It is very close to the heart of the city. Very easy access to public transports, shopping spots and so on. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay there again definitely.

Great hotel, great location. Friendly service, nice pool area, spacious room, clean throughout, no compllaints at all.

If you are arriving from the airport aim for St James station, cross Elizabeth St and the hotel is a 3-4 minute easy walk. Very centrally located with Sydney Tower and Westfield shopping mall right next door. Walking to Darling Harbour is about 15 mins and the Rocks/Opera House about 25-30 mins. You enter the hotel on street level (where you'll need to take one of the lifts up to find reception). Staff were always friendly and courteous to us. We didn't eat in the hotel itself so can't comment on food or the restuarant although there were pictures up showing that the bar area near reception was going to be revamped sometime around May 2012 - the plans looked good too. We did use the pool and spa areas which were much needed after long days sight seeing. Overall, a very friendly and peaceful stay means I would certain come back to this hotel and consider using Swissotels in other cities too.

We stayed at Swissotel with our two small children in a classic room (2 double beds). The hotel was within walking distance of heaps of great attractions for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. We will stay there again.

Stay was comfortable. i was there for just one night but the quality of room service and amenities were par excellence. Will surely go back to Swissotel

Overall we were impressed by the Swissotel Sydney. It was in a fantastic location, right in the middle of shopping and entertainment district. Although hesitant about relying on public transport to get our family around to all the sites of Sydney, it was a breeze! Train and buses at the doorstep. Staff went out of their way to help with any travel / activity enquiries too, printing out maps, movie timetables, zoo info etc. We did not eat at the Swissotel apart from the buffet breakfast which was included in our room rate and we found this to be of above average standards with very helpful staff. The rooms were large and very clean, the only criticism I would have is we found the beds to be very uncomfortable.

Stayed here 2 weeks earlier and had a great time. This time we had problems with our room. They did respond very quickly to fixing the problems. They do have a "friendly, we will fixed it right away" attitude.

Lovely hotel, had some problems but they were quick to take care of. Good location. Would stay there again when in Sydney.

Excellent quality & service I will definately go back loved it right in the city centre

There was no electrical outlet for blow dryer or curling iron in the bathroom. There was an extra cost for wireless internet access. With the high room cost, the hotel should not have charged extra for this.

Excellent location, very clean and new, comfortable beds, friendly competent staff. Definately recommend.

Great location right in the centre of Sydney's shopping precinct.

The Swisshotel is in a great position, above Myers, opposite the Queen Victoria Building, adjacent to Pitt Street Mall, right in the centre of the city. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms particularly good.

This Hotel is a mediocre 4* Hotel. Nothing fancy but far from a 5*. Internet access is freaking expensive, go to McDonalds in the same block for free access. Small rooms, small TV, Entry at street level is strange: A cleaning room is much bigger than that. Personell is friendly and helpful.

We were VERY dissatisfied with the fire alarm going off at 2:30 AM and the hotel had no representative on the street exit. They seemed not to care that we had just walked down 20 flights of stairs. The management offered NO APOLOGY. We were disgusted. The alarm turned out to be a false alarm.

I had booked a smoking room through hotels.com, and guess what? the hotel was a non smoking hotel, and could not care less that i had a smoking room booked. I was disappointed by both Hotels.com's not updating its info, and Swissotel's attitude to the booking!!

The service was very accomodating and the room was impeccably clean! The location in the heart of downtown Sydney was perfect for exploring the city. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swissotel Sydney.

Excellent location, within walking distance to Darling Harbour and main shopping areas in Sydney.

This location is just a few blocks form Darling Harbor and about a 20 minute walk to the Opera House. Also close to lots of shopping. The staff was great and made a room change for us on arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very convenient for shopping and dinning. Close to public transport.

A fantastic room with separate bedroom. Views out over the city and beyond. Spectacular! Staff that were extremely helpful and friendly. A superb evening in the heart of Australia's most amazing city. Why then, was the couch in our room old, tatty and stained? Not that it worried us too much - we threw a blanket over it. Despite this minor problem I heartily recommend the Swissotel Sydney to everyone.

A great hotel in the ideal Sydney location. Very nice big rooms.

We were unexpectedly stuck in Sydney at short notice (a big 'thank you' to Qantas for this). Found the Swisshotel on Hotels.com and booked at the very last minute (the same day as we arrived). Staff were suberb in helping us out with our unexpected delay - could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They upgraded our room and even allowed us a late checkout to help us with our re-arranged flights on the following day. All staff treated us like human beings and valued friends/customers. Room was excellent and breakfast was one of the best in town. We will definately use this hotel again when next in Sydney.

We found the hotel and its staff extremely accomodating, We were able to extend our stay by an extra day due to the airline grounding and this was done at a moments notice and without hassle. The hotel was 100% booked on the Saturday night but you would not have known it as the facility was quiet and there were no obvious disruptions to the quality of service experienced. Combined with the proximity of the hotel to shopping and the delights of Darling Harbour, we would, without hesitation, stay in this hotel again

Nice hotel walking distance to everything. Spacious room with a great bathroom big enough for 2 getting ready at the same time. Staff was very helpful. Lobby bar was a nice place to have a quick bite/drink.

Excellent location walking distance to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay Stayed there to see a show at Theatre Royal which was nearby.

The hotel had a nice location but was not "5 star" quality. The first room they gave us was dirty. The room we stayed in had boring decor and there were things like broken tiles on the tub, cracked trimmings, etc.

we had a really great couple of days with you. Everybody we came in contact with were friendly and helpful which helped make it a relaxing time with you all, we thank you for being what you promised

excellent location right in the heart of Sydney across from the QVB,a 10 mninute walk to darling harbour and on the monorail route Staff friendly and helpful . Highly recommended

my family and i stayed in the Swissotel- it is a bog standard , annonymous hotel- bland and boring . ideal for business but not for much else as it is well situated in the CBD. some of the concierges were great but others could not understand or be understood in English .

The only negative about this hotel is the obscene price they charge for internet access which, in this day and age, should be a standard inclusion in the room rate.
