Very nice rooms but not enough counter space to accomodate personal belongings in both the living area and the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel/resort with great amenitities. The continental breakfast was kind of weak, and the main pool/spa were closed which was disappointing. The service was great though and the staff super friendly and accommodating. When the pool area is available this resort will be nothing but great. Try it out.

Great location. Beautiful grounds. Room needs upgrades. Room felt old and stale. From their website we did not realized that the beds and towels are not serviced everyday. The front desk is too pushy with the sales pitch to attend a timeshare.

The location is walking distance from downtown...there are shops & galleries near the hotel. This is more condo/timeshares than a hotel. Kind of nice if you are staying a few days and want a little more space than a hotel room. Refrigerator, small stove, micro are nice to have. The room is quite dated...but clean. The pool is under construction...and the $15 + tax resort fee is kind of dumb. Just add it into the cost of the room. Overall...Just OK.

My husband and I were so excited to get to the lush mountain paradise pictured in the promotional photos. The first thing we encountered was a solicitation at check-in. Got our keys from reception and were directed to a 'welcome desk' where two sullen ladies gave us a speil about getting a free stay in the future if we spent the afternoon in a sales presentation about their resort group. T-a-c-k-y. Got to our room and it was cold and cavernous. With the way the 'suite' is set up, the only window in the room is in the corner of the kitchen. There is no view or natural light in the actual living space, which is an eyesore in and of itself. Dark and gloomy. The bedroom was no better than a motel, with old furnishings, and one window on the outdoor walkway that had to be curtained. The grounds were torn up for renovations to the pool and hot tub, so we ended up using none of the services, but were charged a daily 'resort fee' regardless. We would have been much happier spending less on a motel room with a WINDOW. Or spending the same on a resort with actual resort amenities. We both travel very often and are happy in all sorts of low-brow and high-brow establishments, but this was a run-down, over-priced disappointment.

We LOVED our stay! The resort is fabulous throughout; the staff is excellent; the location is perfect; and much detail is paid to the landscaping, cleanliness and appeal of this resort. We would love to return to this part of Arizona, as Sedona is our favorite place we traveled!

This is a very lovely spa. The grounds are immaculate. As anticipated there was some renovation occuring, the big pool was closed. However upon check in we were told that due to our stay being short, 3 days, there would be no maid service. I have never heard of such a thing. Also, they were fairly intent on talking to us about Time Shares, which I have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. This was easily avoided. Lastly there is no wireless in the rooms. For internet access one had to go to the lobby. THere are multiple options for very good food and the Brewery just outside the parking lot was awesome. Lastly, the location is fantastic. If you like hiking in red rocks, go to Sedona.

Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment. Great hotel and lots of great resturants near buy. Of course Sedona is beautiful!!

Over all I was satisfied with the hotel. It was a bit pricey considering that all the furniture; to include the bedroom set, needs a drastic update! The bed was also a bit "used", as in not comfortable. As for location, you can't beat it and it was quite convenient with having the kitchenette available.

Our stay was very nice and we were comfortable. The staff was very responsive to our needs. I didnt have a working coffee pot one morning, they came and fixed the breaker. We needed trash removed, they came and took care of that immediately. We needed more coffee, that was handled right away as well. The only thing i did not like was the lack of internet access to my room. That is something you all need to make happen. One other thing: due to the wedding of my daughter, i was unaware that we would be on the second floor - we carted so much stuff up there - it was exhausting - should have asked us if we wanted a ground floor. Last was the fact that we did not use the aminities at all - wedding and all and were charged regardless - not right. Thanks

Very professional service. When toilet got plugged up, maintenance was there in minutes. Room and grounds very clean. The concierge tries to sign you up for an appointment to listen to a time-share promo; however, she didn't push it once we told her we were not interested.

I am interested in returning when they have the renovations finished. The room was OK for the dated nature of the property. Good Luck with it.

The hotel itself is a beautiful and comfortable place. Our room was wonderful and quiet. Service was generally good, although when I inquired about housekeeping for our room, I received a very snide, sarcastic response that soured my attitude towards this place. As others have said, the big drawback to this place is that there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. And I also felt the "resort fee" of $15/day was too much.

Nice people, great location, comfortable spacious rooms and a great nights sleep. I would recommend this hotel, it was close to all the shops & the beds were very comfortable, in fact more comfortable than some 5 star resort beds...go figure.

This is a beautiful property located just south of the downtown area right on the main access road. The employees were very helpful and directed us towards certain things to do and eat. Could not have asked for more.Only negative was the wifi in the lobby did not work and they are remodeling the pool area.

I was shocked when I showed up and the resort was so beautiful- it was such a steal on hotels.com! and the restaurant is highly recommended- what a fun bar, pool table and game room combo!

Perhaps because we booked through the Internet we didn't get a nice room. We had to walk up old unstable circular metal stairs to a small room. Our suitcases were left in the car cause they wouldn't fit up the stairs. The flat screen tv was on a side wall so it was uncomfortable watching. No area information in the room. No restaurant to have breakfast. But the resort looked nice.

The grounds of the resort were lovely. It was great just to wander around the resort, go to the little shops and restaurants nearby and swim in the pool.We were disappointed in our room as we thought that we were getting a regular/standard room. Instead it was a studio room so we were cramped. It did have a little side patio so that helped. One of the pools was closed and the hot tub nearest to our room was not functioning.The concierge was a delightful and helpful young woman.

My husban and I went for a weekend getaway. The Resort was in a great loaction. right in the middle of Sedona. Shopping and food was a short walk away. Service was great we prechecked in at one but didnt get our room until 5 pm. The resort was clean but does need updating which the hotel staff did mention that they were doing. The spa was great!! we both had services and they were prices reasonable. Would diffently go back again.

If you know diamond resorts, don't stay here. There are 4 other places owned by them in the area that are much nicer. This place is old, although they say it is updated, you can tell that under the surface it is rough. We have never found the customer service to be good, even with their "YES" motto. It's sad that Sedona has been overtaken by this company, everywhere you turn they are trying to sell you a timeshare with the promise of gifts and freebies. Don't fall into their scam!

Location was very good. Hotel grounds are well maintained and the staff very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, our room had numerous cob webs in the corners and above all of the curtains. Rooms also need updating.

My boyfriend and I went on a little getaway trip here and I was absolutely blow away. We had out own king cottage to ourselves in a room with a fridge flat screen tv fireplace and a jacuzzi just steps away. It was the cutest place I've ever been to. When we were arriving the nicest guy greeted me and showed me our rooms and got our keys. Telaquepaque is the most beautiful little place to shop and hang out. We went to the Mexican food place there that had great food. We also hiked at devils bridge. This was the perfect trip and just what my boyfriend and I needed. We will be back :)

We had a great time but wish we'd had more information about our room before we got there.

Our stay at Los Abrigados was great. What a wonderful visit.

Loved the room and location. Employees were very helpful.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and in a very convenient location within steps of tlaquepaque. We enjoyed the spa, walking in the very cute outdoor trail, and our fantastic suite/apartment. It really felt like a place of our own. This is a place where you could stay for several days and not even need to leave the hotel. Everything is right there for you. We will be back.

great location....staff is outstanding...some units (ours) dated and needs upgraded...moved to another room...much improved...in Sedona...perfect place to stay....galleries...good food...opportunity to walk the grounds

No housekeeping service, because we "Didn't stay at least 5 days." The hotel is now run by a time-sharing group; the "Concierge" is now a shill for the sales staff, offering perks to attend an "Open house." The open house is actually an intense, pushy sales grilling, at which a total of 5 salesmen in shifts take turns trying to push guests into buying the timeshares. No thank you.

Overall our stay was great! It's a beautiful complex in the heart of Sedona so walking ro shops and food was easy. Our only complaint was the on site restaurant/bar. Service was slow, the bartender was rude and it was under staffed.

This is a time share property that can't apparently can't fill their timeshare slots or are too cheap to advertise by normal means so they rent the rooms out here on hotels.com and then pester guests to buy in. You will be charged an additional $15 per day resort fee on top of the price you pay, not sure how they get away with that one. This must have been a really nice place to stay back in the 70's when it was built and furnished, not so much now. If you took away the stress of defending that you don't want to purchase a timeshare, and took away the hidden fee, it would be pretty nice for the money.

The reservation process was out of this world. The gal went over and above to assist me. (As did Hotels.com) The exercise room and classes were high quality - the quality of a nice health club. Super friendly staff. The rooms themselves are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Beds were good.

th e resort is off the main drag and quiet. Close to shopping and restaurants. Resort is in need of upgrades for the hot tubs and pools. Studio was ok, but the 1 bedroom we looked at was very out of date.

I was very surprised to find that our room was actually a small apartment! We had a one bedroom unit for an overnight stay to see the Red Rock Festival of Lights. The unit had a 2-burner stove, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, good sized refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans. We were on the second floor and had a balcony with a lovely view. Couldn't have asked for more! Front desk service was great (although it did take 2 phone calls to Housekeeping to get a hair dryer delivered in the morning). To make the stay even better, there was a wonderful free presentation in the evening by Native American flutist and educator Wolfs Robe. Fantastic!

Stayed on second floor unit. Great layout and use of space. Fridge, stove, sink, balcony, separate bedroom, able to sleep 4 with foldout couch, separate dining area and more. I wish we had stayed longer and taken advantage of more of their services. The only negative thing I could say is that we had a late checkout but the cleaning crew showed up an hour early anyway.

Watch out for the "Resort Fee"! This seems to be a common trick for getting for getting more money out of you, and it's very annoying. If you book a hotel online, the price should be all-inclusive and NOT have an additional $15 (+ tax) fee added on once you get there. Also, if you're going to try and sell your time-shares, invite people ONCE and then LET IT DROP. They asked me 3 times. And then only once even offered any kind of incentive. Additionally, the room had no cold water, believe it or not. Only lukewarm water came out of the cold faucet. And the toilet flushed very slowly. Beyond that, however, Sedonda is lovely, the room was lovely, the amenities were terrific and the pool and spa were very very nice.

No daily service (towels, cleaning, bed-making). Heating of room was inefficient. Bathroom was never warm. Wall unit blower blew curtains all the time which kept us awake. Very dry forced air continuous. It was a reasonable rate and a nice appointed room, but the condition and service was laking. And nobody at the resort could actually direct us to our room ~ which was 307 at The Inn at Los Abrigados. It ended up being down a dark sidewalk and up a spiral staircase ~ no directions out front as to where it was located and nobody at the resort could direct us to the room either. I think we got the WORST room they had (actually they said it was the LAST room available). Should have known. I guess when you book through Hotels.com you get the WORST AVAILABLE. We will not stay there again.

We only spent one night so didn't use any of the resort facilities. The room was nice. The resort is a timeshare facility so we actually stayed in a small one bedroom apartment. The bedroom had a king size bed which was comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. It had an older style shower, in the tube, sliding doors type. I liked that the sink was outside of the toliet and shower area. There was a small living room with a queen size sleeper sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. We did not use any of it during our overnight. Best part was the Christmas light festival at the resort.

The hotel room was okay despite the many reviews I had read about it needing renovation. The bathroom shower door was the old slider type that was stuck and I was afraid it was going to fall and break. The room had a deceiving fireplace that had lights that looked like fire, I have never seen this before. The hotel also charges an additional 15.00 fee. They also tax this fee which makes it more than just a 15.00 fee....they hotel also does not have daily maid service. This was absurd, especially when you are paying an additional 15.00 fee. This was my last visit to Los Abrigados!
