Very convenient to South Beach - service desk was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

My experience at the Lorraine was absolutely horrible! The pictures on the website did not compare to the hotel, I believe they were photo shopped. The bathrooms are horrible old rusted and out of date. There was a different staff member at the front desk every night. There was blood and stains on our so called fresh sheets. we put the sign on the door for them to service our room and when we arrived back at the hotel we noticed they made our beds with the same old sheets and pillow cases that had our lipstick stains all over them, they just flipped the pillow on the other side. When i asked for them to place us in the best room of the hotel, i was told it was being "painted". i dont believe it exists!!! The location is on 26th street and most of the interactions are down by 6-14th street so it's a healthy walk away. At the end of the day DO NOT STAY here you will not be pleased. I payed $150 a night for garbage

Friendly receptionists. Free breakfast. Free coffee and jiuces all day. Convenience store in the corner. Bicycle station in front of hotel. Beach one block away.

The front desk was not friendly and the bathroom was filthy will never stay there again stayed in better hotels at south beach for less very over priced.

It was just for one day but it all I need to say that I won't stay in that hotel no more. First impression is the best impression. Is not what expected for what they charge me, I would not stay there again I would rather stay in a Motel 6 for the next time.

I guess what you pay for here is position, and it is virtually on South Beach. But the hotel needs quite a bit of refurbishment. Cooking facitlites were in situ, but no pots and pans to cook with! Some very basic models were provided when requested. Towels were provided to take down to the beach.

AC wasn't affective and a budget hotel. In case traveling during summer season, would advice not to stay in this hotel. only positive aspect is the included continental breakfast. no hotel parking, have to use the nearest public parking @ 27th street, public parking rate is dollar an hour and from 8am-6pm after that its free.

At first I was disappointed when I saw the exterior of the hotel. But when I saw the entrance its far better than the outlook. The room was also good, clean and bathroom was clean also. We had a fridge, TV (i think it didnt work, since I was not interested to watch, I didnt care), and I microwave oven. The main problem is this hotel has no parking, you have to park in a public parking and walk back to the hotel. However, since our target was to stay only one night we didnt care about the exterior and other stuff. We were happy with that

It was hot as ish! We didn't have AC throughout our entire stay!

There are no pool no GYM open.

The hotel had some simple problems such as the faucet for hot water in the bathroom did not work and if you shave you know how inconvenient that can be. I reported it on day one but nothing was done.

Nice place, but no parking. Very close to the ocean.

The Lorraine hotel was the nastiest hotel I ever seen. The hotel does not even look like a hotel. My friends, and I booked the hotel for 1 night because we were coming off of a cruise, and the stay was horrible. The water in the room was not hot, the hotel didn't even have a ramp for us to wheel our luggage, do we had to carry our luggage up the steps. There was no one there to help us. The women at the front desk was really nice and helpful. But the room was horrible. The location was ok. It was at the end of south beach going into north beach. So the location was not bad. The curtains in the hotel had holes in them. And the room had a funny odor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price of the hotel, you can get a nicer hotel.

the staff was nice and very poliet unlike so many of the south beach people the pictures online of the rooms and hotel imguessing are older ones our rooms where a good size but poorly mantained and kinda dirty but if you only need a place to crash and aren't scared of a ten min walk to lincoln and then its agreat place for the price and the beach is directly behind the hotel all in all very nice accomodating staff and fair rooms

We chose this hotel because it was affordable for the location, being north of South Beach and right on Miami Beach. We walked everywhere from the hotel and used the Airport Flyer ($2.35 each way) to get there to and from the hotel. We also used the .25 SoBeach bus that runs from Washington Ave south and loops up Alton Rd. Location and affordability was our number 1 priority and we got it! The rooms are clean with updated furniture and decor. The hotel itself is old, and the doors are thin. Some people were complaining about hearing the tv or guests in other rooms, but we didn't have that issue. Free internet in the lobby. Staff were friendly. Breakfast composed of coffee, juice, yogurt, breads, croissants, cereals, bagels and chocolate bread. No free parking though, our friends found it hard to find parking in the area without feeding a meter every few hours.

This hotel was the filthiest hotel i ever stayed in my life. Worse than a hostel

This was our first time,we would highly recommend Lorraine hotel. We Are looking forward t o staying there in the near future.

Overall good deal, not a fancy hotel, but location is good.

this hotel is very convenient, central to every thing, shopping, transport, bus stop, the beach, the staff is reasonably pleasant, the dinning area can be expanded, breakfast can be better, eggs or and cheese should be added, with some fruits. cleanliness and trust is good at this hotel. A fridge is also provided. But i think a microwave should be included in every hotel room, (come on this is a very cheap item nowadays). please provide this to your customers. however i don't have a problem staying here again or encouraging others.

The hotel is very close to a part of the beach where are less people than on others, beachtowels are provided, so your sunny day on the beach can begin! The staff is really nice, and a close bus takes you directly to downtown.a small supermarket is next door! The only problem we had were noisy neighbours which were well heard through the walls. you can get a great hotel for a good rate in pricy miami.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I waited for maid service till 3 PM. Left room about 10 AM, came back at 3 Pm, still no maid service. I saw maid down the hall and told her I'd like servic. She said "No" because it was past 3 PM! Unacdweptable response!!! No coffee machine in room. No ice machine in hotel. Front desk persons not helpful. I'll never patronize it again. I've spread word to all my friends and business associates.

The hotel is a standard low buget hotel in a great location, but the service is very poor. When asked a simple question as where the closest parking structure (I was willing to pay, just needed a location) is they said that was my problem and I should just look for a meter and park at it. A 3 hour meter is a useless answer for an overnight parking. I found parking 5 blocks away on my own after searching for an hour. It did not make sense that the hotel refuse to even point me to it.

Far away from main South Beach area to go to not so crowded beach, but can walk (about 15-45 minutes) to shops, restaurants and clubs. Not the nicest, but decent.

Older quaint hotel. Close to beach, North part of south beach. Just within walking distance or short taxi to south beach bars and restaurants. Parking is at city run parking lot across street $ 10 per day (you need a roll of quarters per day)

This experience was horrible. It was near death. During the two nights I tried to sleep there were loud slamming of doors over and over again. There was running back and forth up and down the halls. There was hollering between young boys as late as 3:30 AM. The orange juice/apple juice cannister was empty for both days and remained empty.

I live in Miami and this was meant to be a romantic evening on the beach. We got to the hotel in the early hours of the afternoon and everything was perfect from the moment we set foot in the Lobby. everything went as we expected. The Lobby itself was very well maintained and well appointed. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The check-in was hassle free and we went to our room less than 5 minutes after we had arrived. The room was very clean and well kept. Sometimes these art deco buildings have maintenance issues but this one was not one of those. Kudos to the maid service and the maintenance people as well. We requested some extra towels because we love to have plenty in our room and they brought them right away. We went about our night in South Beach and then went back to the hotel. Location is one of the key points of this place, because you're close enough to the action but not in the middle of it, which helped us to a great night's sleep. Next morning we requested a wake up call which we received sharp at 8. Went down for breakfast, which was well stocked and had it on the terrace with the morning sun rising above us. At 11 we checked out, which was equally fast and no hassle as the check-in the previous day and made our way back home. Above all, the Lorraine hotel was a great deal. We got a good price and our experience was a great one. Great staff, comfortable rooms and a great quiet ambiance surrounding us. It certainly won't be our last time there.

This was our first night in Miami and wanted to stay on Miami Beach. The Lorraine Hotel has NO parking available to guests. They charge a cash deposit for incidentals but it's up to YOU to get it back when you check out. The continental breakfast consisted of a loaf of white Wonder bread and a toaster! Off to the side was a card table set up with coffee, and a juice machine. Under normal circumstances, we would have left before checking in but the hotel was my mothers name and the address was her birthday! I felt drawn to stay there.....what can I say?!

Shabby and old rooms. Shabby bathroom. No airconditioning (its Central AC which is permanently switched off and the front desk person always have stories around how it has been cold lately and the guests requested to switch it off!). Because there was no AC, I had to sleep with the window open. There was a vent in the room that was howling like there's a hurricane inside there, and my son could not sleep because of it. When I called the front desk, the person came and said its the sound of AC (?) and thy cannot do anything about it. Only the location, and supportive front desk staff made a small positive difference. But the location is disadvantage since there is no parking and you are at the mercy of public lots which are always full (hey, its South Beach!). I was circling around at mid night trying to find a spot and got one which was 5 blocks away. Finally, there is free breakfast which is nothing bu toast and coffee with old Danish thrown in. Will not recommend this to anyone.

The lobby was nice but that was about it. There was no parking to speak of. Not because there wasn't any space but because the "hotel" didn't own parking spots. Guests have to rely on parking on the street using parking meters. The bathrooms were dirty and you have no control over the ac. Normally this isn't an issue but it just so happened to be 38 degrees the one weekend I stayed and had to deal with the ac blowing cold air. Staff was sometimes pleasant but often not. Will not be staying here again and I recommend you don't either.

Have been there one night from Friday to Saterday and it has been some noise inside the hotel all night long. I woke up every 60 minutes or so to some other guests movements or voices. I guess it has wooden ceilings because I could easy hear the couple above and what they did... I was glad to stay only one night because of all the missing sleep. Otherwise it would be good for its low price and location. If you plan to party at night and you are used to noises while you sleep then this place might be right for you.

walking distance from the beach, bar, and clubs..

Which ever way you go weather it be walking driving publiic transportation the Lorraine ifs sdmack in the middle and one minute walk to the beautiful ocean.

Walls made of cardboard. You hear literally everything, the elevators, people running around on the hallway at 4AM while yelling how drunk they are, cars outside, air conditioning. The lobby looks okay, the hotel floors however look nasty and old. The beds were fine but the TV didn't work properly (missed a ton of channels too) and the bathroom smelled and looked really old. Breakfast looks pretty pathetic too. It may be free, but still .. ew. The hotel is bearable with earplugs at night but don't expect any good rest when you get there!

RAZOAVEL. FALTOU UM LOCAL PARA TOMAR O CAFÉ DA MANHÃ. FOI O PRIMEIRO HOTEL NA MINHA VIDA QUE NÃO POSSUI REFEITÓRIO. O DESJEJUM É TOMADO NA MESMA SALA DA RECEPÇÃO. NUNCA HAVIA VISTO ISSO ANTES.

Es un hotel, muy modesto pero con buen servicio. La verda que me gusto mucho y sobre todo la ubicacion, que tiene una hermosa bista a la playa.

A pesar de ser un hotel de 2.5 estrellas, el servicio, hubicación, seguridad y comodidad de las habitaciones resultaron de primera, sin duda lo tomaría en cuenta para futuras reservaciones, no cambien, y sigan mejorando. El desayuno intercontinental rico y sufiente pa rendir
