HI, MY HUSBAND AND I STAY 2 NITES, LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT BUT.....IST DAY WE HAD AN EARLY START LOVED THEIR BREAKFAST WE LEFT FOR THE DAY AT 8:00 WHEN WE GOT BACK AT 4:30 OUR ROOM WAS STILL NOT SERVICE, I WENT TO TALK TO THE CLERK AT THE FRONT DESK, THEY NEED MORE HOUSEKEEPING HELP, I FELT SORRY FOR THIS HISPANIC LADY SHE WAS THE SWEETEST LITTLE LADY AND VERY HARD WORKING THERE, I PUT MY COMMENT THERE ON A CARD, SO I HOPE THEY GET MORE HELP.. BUT OVERALL YES I WOULD RECOMMENDED IT TO MY FRIENDS. THANKS

Just needed a place for my family and I to sleep after a late arrival to san diego on a Saturday night. With little ones I wanted a clean facility and good neighborhood at little cost. I loved the hotel and rooms look better inside than they seem at arrival.

I got what I wanted, a basic room with TV and internet and bathroom. No frills but I didn't want them.

Very nice 1 day stay. I asked for a hotel near the stadium and didn't know what to expect, but I diffidently would go back again. Close to food establishment.

I only need the room for the night as we were moving along with our trip, here are my findings. CONS: Room is tiny, pillows are 4 to each bed but they are sofa pillows (small) VERY uncomfortable, right next to freeway VERY noisy, looks more like a motel than a hotel, no hot water!!!!! check in was at 3 got there at 5 and the room was still not ready had to leave and come back 2 hours later!!!! PROS and more CONS: Room was rather clean after i was finally able to get in, except the cleaning lady forgot to flush the toilet after cleaning it so there was stuff flowing in there EW! there is a tiny fridge, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer and microwave, clean towels, check in was quick and eazy, flat screen tv decent channel line up, thin walls, lighting is off i think they use heat lamps instead of light bulbs, no wi-fi even though it said FREE wi-fi, didnt try the "free breakfast"

Non smoking room smelled like a stale cigarette. Attitude from the front desk clerk when asked for towels, wouldn't allow my wife to take juice from the continental breakfast to our room for the baby. Guy was an all around jerk.

This hotel (especially rooms on the backside) is literally right next to the freeway. My room had little to mo insulation around the door frame so you could hear everything outside. I know the hotel can't control this, but I was placed next two a couple that screamed at each other two nights in a row and someone on the floor above sounded like they were being tortured. I did not feel very safe at this hotel.

Hotel was nice and rooms clean and re done, but location was across from the freeway and made night time a little loud.

Stayed here for one night because it was significantly lower in price than others in the area. Newly remodelled and although the rooms are very small, they were very clean and nice. Beds were fairly comfortable and there was a fridge & microwave in the room. Located in a residential neighborhood with no road noise but the walls are a little thin. Overall, great place to stay for a night considering the price.

Photos on the Net don't do it justice. We were pleasantly pleased.

It was just what I needed for the price I paid. It was so close to Qualcomm stadium! What I did not like was that the blow dryer did not work lucky I did not need it but I did count on it.

Nice quiet location near townhomes. Clean room. Good breakfast. Only minor issue was exterior renovation still in work, but still a good place for the price.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Enjoyed making waffles at breakfast. Lot of exterior renovations going on. What was completed, such as interior of room, was very nice. Flat screen TV.

The Rodeway Inn is very close to I-8 although to find it, you have to turn to drive through a residential subdivision. Adobe Falls Road continues by turning at a 3-way stop rather than proceeding straight. The Rodeway Inn is in a bizarre neighborhood of condos and motels and might have some permanent residents. At the complimentary breakfast, someone asked me if I lived nearby, as if that were the norm. The building is undergoing extensive remodeling which will surely make it more appealing in the future, however the construction workers had little regard for allowing traffic access to the parking area. Our "smoke-free" room had a strong smell of old tobacco upon entering (third hand smoke that resides in carpeting and furniture), the deadbolt was broken, and a crumpled tissue was affixed to the peephole. That said, the in-room amenities and bathroom are nicely updated and meet most needs.

This hotel served its purpose as being conveniently located by our destination and within our budget. Shower was a little small, it was fine for my 11year old but not my husband.

The rooms were really clean and comfortable. I went with my friends for the weekend and we were all really happy with the room and the service we recieved at Rodeway Inn.

The word "Quality" should not be used for this joint... The floor is more comfortable.. I paid for 2 nights, but only stayed for 1 because I couldn't stand the smell! Room was suppose to be non smoking, but clearly was smoked in. I recommend them demolishing this building and sell the property to a company that takes pride in their business. Save yourself from having a horrible experience.. I did it for you already! I wish I could get my money back! I will definitely pay extra to stay elsewhere next time!!

They are doing construction on the outside of hotel. OSHA would have a field day there with all the violations. It is very old hotel and they are also starting remodels on inside of rooms which is way overdue. Our room was so old. But for price and location, it suited purpose for us for one night.

... but try to stay on the side away from the freeway. I could hear the freeway noise. Several light switches on the walls were broken and did not work. Other than that, the interior of the room was surprisingly nice. The microwave and refrigerator were really handy. The free breakfast in the lobby included some things that comparable hotels often do not offer, such as fresh oranges and hard boiled eggs.

RIGHT ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. NOT EASY TO ACCESS FROM HIGHWAY EXOT BUT SITS RIGHT THERE. VERY VERY LOUD, NOT A GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD. IF U HAVE TO STAY HERE THEN DEMAND A ROOM ON THE SIDE AWAY FROM HIGHWAY IM SURE ITS STILL BAD BUT NOT AS LOUD. NO SOAP IN ROOM AT ALL. UNFRIENDLY STAFF. DECENT CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.

We checked in late and left early as we only needed a place for the night. Quick and easy. No extras.

The price was amazing. The room was very small and it smelled like cigarrette. BAD! And Im not exxaggerating.

The hotel staff was not very helpful. It was really hard to sleep in there because not only was it really loud, but the door kept making weir buzzing noises and the door light was going crazy. Our key even disactivated and we had to go back and get new keys because we couldnt go into our room!

We liked the hotel and our stay. There is an Open Space(park) on the corner for a nice quick hike and an Italian restaurant next door. Otherwise there's nothing else in walking distance.

This was a great room for what we paid. I honestly expected a dump. But to my surprise.... the room was clean, and the bed was comfy. All we needed was a place to stay for 1 night and it was great... Will definately stay there again! The check in guy was quick and got us in early.

It was a nice sized room for the money i spent. overall great stay only problem was the hotel keys had to be re done daily.

Good location, clean room, confy bed. However the shower from the other room kept me awake at 4 am. People walking by sounds really loud. Other than that is good.

Our room smelled like cat urine. The housekeepers go home early, so if you're not out of your room by noon, don't expect it cleaned. The carpeted floor right outside the bathroom was wet. The last day we were there I had to go to the lobby to get toilet paper! The internet was free, but did not work well. Overall, it was a waste of money.

Me and my husband were totally not satisfied with the hotel. When we walked in there was no room to walk. We turned on the air conditioner left it running for about 30 mins didnt feel a difference. So we decided to go out and when we get back it should be cool. Well we were wrong. My husband had to open up the unit (which we didnt think it would actually open like it did) That made somewhat of a difference. The carpet felt dirty when you walked on it. The only thing I can say we liked about the hotel was the bed it was more comfortable then others we slept in.

We got the business room with a king bed, which was the same price as the regular room with a king bed. It was great cause we didn't feel so confined as in a regular room. Our room had a microwave, frig and coffee maker which is a big plus for us. We went for a walk in the neighborhood, for exercise, and felt safe and the surroundings were pleasant with a lot of trees and greenery. The breakfast was as expected, fresh waffles, bagels, sweet rolls, muffins, various cereals, apples... Staff was pleasant.

The hotel is clean and the service was good. There was plenty of room in our room. The sheets and towels were clean, but not that comfortable. Overall, for the money, it's a good deal. I would stay here again.

the hotel is pretty good if u just want a place to sleep. room is comfy. shower is not that great (low pressure) and breadfast can be crowded and skimpy but for a place to sleep it was fine.

I was very pleasantly surprised! I was aiming for a very inexpensive hotel close to SDSU, and was not willing to pay for any amenities I knew I wouldn't have time to enjoy. So although my expectations weren't high to begin with, this hotel exceeded them. Nice (small) pool, fridge and microwave in the room, free breakfast (with waffles!) in the lobby, and the price was right!

The room was comfortable, however, the bed was sort of hard, and having a bad back, woke up each day with a back ache. But enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was bare bones, but clean and met my needs. I was in town for a football game, and the hotel was a great location to the stadium, and downtown San Diego was easily accessible via car. We were really only in the room to sleep, and that was quite comfortable. I would recommend the place, but it is certainly bare bones.
