The hotel from the outside looks pretty bad but the rooms are really nice. Poor customer service at the front desk

Room was clean, bed was clean, sheets clean, Tv could use a little HD upgrade though. Overall really clean spot. Lights, AC worked just fine.

Pro: Price, Neighborhood, Service, Employees, and Parking

Stay was confortable I had really no complaints its just that the tv was not working and the hot water was acting up couldn't get any and the last thing I didn't like was that da tub paint was rippin apart I didn't like that feeling on my feet but other than that everything was okay

Great price, friendly staff, good location. As always very happy with service, and laidback staff - not one of those, call @ EXACTLY 10:59 "you ready to check out yet?!!!?" VERY pleased with understanding, and respectful staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a very great price, with pool & jacuzzi, and quiet stay.

The staff room and pool were lovely. We will be back!

Booked this hotel to be close to Six Flags. Was horrified to see that it's more of a scummy motel. Filthy, disgusting, loud. Actually checked out early after having paid in full. Would NEVER stay here. Couldn't even sleep it was so loud all night. Front desk was kind and understanding. STAY AWAY!

The first room I checked in had water spilled on the carpet, went back to the frontdesk and changed my room. This room had holes on the mattress cover without any blanket and had no chair. Went back again to report. House keeper came with the blanket but no chair and was asking me if I want them to change the mattress instead of them knowing they need to change. Overall unsatisfactory !!

I have stayed at this hotel before and didn't have any issues. However when I stayed this time my room smelled terrible. There were black stains all over the carpet and you can see daylight coming in from around the edges of the entry door and not just a little bit. I thought ok I'll just turn on the ac. That should take some of the smell out of the air. Wrong! That actually made it worse. The only way I can explain the smell was like someone peed on the ac vent. Needless to say I cancelled my second night and went elsewhere.

I have stayed here 3 times in the last 3 yrs and would recommend it if you are going to six flags. It's about 10min away from the park. Nice hotel for the price.

Close to almost everything and the hotel staff is superb. Sara was extremely helpful and I would stay again because of her professionalism.

even after booking non smoking room they have provided me smoking room, i requested them to change it ...they have accepted and changed it. They also mentioned breakfast when i booked the reservation but there was nothing like breakfast we found only tea and coffee and one small sweet bread which is really bad. Apart from the above i felt its ok to stay

Clean and nice people. Only complain was that the shower temperature would change hot to cold then to super hot to really cold all of a sudden to everyone that stayed in our room. Didn't complain to hotel just dealt with it. Great price for those on budget!

I enjoyed my stay very much and will look forward to when I can visit again. The staff was very professional and helpful in solving a minor problem I had and I was very thankful.

For the price I was expecting something way worse. The beds were actually very comfortable, the front desk was very nice, the maids were very nice as well. No free WiFi so that sucked but over all it was decent! Shower was a little dingy but just old not unclean.

The only real complaint I had about the hotel was the charge for WiFi. In this day & age when WiFi is the accepted norm I was surprised to have to pay for it.

I bok this hotel for a two night stay overall the structure and neigborhood was pleasant althoe they need to consentrate more in the maitenance of the rooms cleanense lack of housekeeping at night they need to provide more towells for the need of the guest, supervice with close attention when rooms ready to be occupied because the bathroom at room I stay bathtube was semi clean and that is s big unconfort feeling , no mini refrigerator for rooms,

Convenient for travellers using I-5. Excellent deal for the price. Friendly staff.

I found The Goodnight Inn to be located in an area where there is easy access to the freeway (405). The amenities such as laundry facilities, fresh continental breakfast and jacuzzi hot tub, pool, all these items create a special stay for a comfortable price.

I just needed an affordable hotel for one night with a convenient location, close to the freeway. Restaurants/ fast food places nearby and a very friendly staff. If you just need a place for overnight, this hotel is for you.

The hotel wasn't bad. Frontdesk was very nice. The seal on the door was worn so there was a lot if noise from the hall way but overall it served its purpose we stayed there for a quick trip to sixflags on a budget.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear abunch through it. The people upstairs where stomping and running around til 2 in the morning, then were up and stomping around at 6am. The beds are so cheap that it felt like there was plastic on them and they were so uncomfortable. NO FRIDGE/MICROWAVE!! The water turned ice cold after 2 minutes in the shower, so hopefully no one else needs to take a shower after you. If you dont want to spend alot of money and just need a place to crash and don't mind so much commotion, then this is the place to stay. Next time I think I rather spend the extra 20 bucks and stay in the hotel next door!!

Was a little upset that I couldn't find parking. I had to make my car fit in a really tight place. Didn't sleep well because I kept thinking what if they hit it when the other person got into there car

Noisey street traffic, beds were UN comfortable, small parking areas, rude night staff, just an all round bad experiance for my family, ill never stay there again

I have stayed at a Good Nite Inn in another part of Los Angels (Calabasas), but chose the Sylmar location because it was close to my business function this time around. The accommodations were OK, but this Good Nite isn't up to the standards of the other one. There was no chair in the room, just a bed and a desk, the shower didn't work right, and even though the carpet seemed clean, my feet were very dirty every time I stepped into the shower - as in I left black footprints. That doesn't happen at home. The parking lot is very tight, and the spaces are narrow. I feared for my rental car. The place was also very loud - maybe that was just inconsiderate people, but there was a lot of rolling and banging and it was just very loud on my floor and in my room. The neighborhood wasn't unsafe, but it's pretty industrial and there weren't any stores or conveniences beyond the McDonald's, Denny's, and nearby gas stations. It WAS about $20 cheaper per night than Calabasas, but next time I would probably spend the extra money and deal with the extra drive time.

The Beds are so uncomfortable because they've put a protective covering over the mattress and it feels like your sleeping on plastic (because you are). We went to Walmart and purchased a thick mattress pad just so we could get a good nights rest. But for the money we saved by staying here it was worth it. The staff is nice and accommodating, overall it is a pretty good overnight stay.

Hotel charges you $3.95 for internet usage in addition to the hotel fee and taxes. Room and upkeep was very dirty.

Hey. The place was bare bones. You get a t.v., a bed, and a bathroom. No frills. But for the price, you can't beat it! Not to loud. Not filthy. Staff is nice. Close to freeway. Next to gas stations and a McDonalds. The wi-fi was a bit interrupted,...but at least they had it. If you're strictly looking to get a room that isn't discusting, but at the LOWEST possible price,...this is the place.

We booked in at the last minute and found staff and everything to be excellent. Room was clean and comfortable and free breakfast nice. We would definately stay here again next time we're in California.

be nice if wifi will be free,restaurants,freeway all next door ,will stay again
