10 Pembridge Gardens by Mondo - لندن

It was a real treat to stay here for 3 nights, discovering Londen. The apartments had everything we needed and were clean and very spacious. The distance to the subway was only 50 meters! The Hotel is situated in a beautiful street with victorian buildings. And so is the rest of the neighborhood! The staff was really helpfull. We've spent several hours on the net, searching for a nice clean hotel with spacious rooms and close to the subway. I can't imagine any other hotel could have been better.

Highly accessible, friendly staff and homelike environment. It would be even better if there was no partition separating the bedroom (the bed) and the mini-kitchen, so that the room would have looked even more spacious and comfy. It would also be great if a room on higher floor with street view could be provided.

My boyfriend and I stayed here twice - at the beginning and end of our trip to England. The first time we had a nice big room, but it was in the basement and our window was at alley level. We had problems with our shower and our bathroom door wouldn't close. We reported it and both were fixed the next day. The second time we had a very small room on a higher floor with a nice street view. Both beds were pretty uncomfortable - especially the flat pillows. The location is great though and having a little kitchenette in the room is a big help if you're trying not to spend your life savings on a trip to the UK.

This hotel was steps from the Notting Hill Gate tube stop, very accessible to the surrounding neighborhood but located on a quiet street. The rooms were not fancy but very livable, great for a longer stay. Having a kitchen in the room was a great money saver, and it was even pretty well equipped! Great stay.

Very nice location just by Portobello street and Notting Hill Gate underground station. Modern style. Nice street.

GOOD : Nice location (20 meters from the main underground) but not in the center of the city (got to go with the underground or bus), lots of electric devices, clean. THE BAD PART IS: They change sheets and clean the room only once a week!!!! the internet was very bad, we could surf only to http sites and not https (https site are all the important sites : facebook, gmail and other mail, bank accounts, theater tickets sites, and much more). we needed to pay to and external provider to use all the https sites.

It has a fantastic location in the Notting Hill Gate area of London. 200 feet from the Underground. Good eating locally. Property is clean. Some rooms are small. Staff is generally very helpful. This was our second stay within a month. Be aware you are on your own for toilet paper, paper towels (for the kitchen), soap, etc.

I would not use the LG(lower ground) accommodation again. It was basement fusty. I would try ground or higher floors next time.

Nice hotel / apartment. Unsatisfying that bedroom floor is all wet after a shower. Suited us well that we had the oportunity to cook and have meals in the room when needed. All in all we were very satisfied. Will gladly book here again, if going on a low budget trip to London, were meals are the downpriority....

The location is really great if you are traveling by London Underground. 50 meters from the Notthing Hill Gate station. But don't expect a hotel, this is more like a room with a door man. The rooms has a good enough standard, well kept and cleaned. The bathroom is however REALLY tiny. Good enough if you are traveling alone, but not sure if I would recommend for couples or families. So I would stay here again, it was a good price, the location is very convenient for me and the rooms are clean.

This hotel is not a hotel. It is small appartments with self-service in a really comfortable distance from the Portobello Market and Notting Hill. We booked this "hotel" months before, and our room was given away to someone else when we arrived. This was solved by giving us somebody elses again, musical hotelrooms, so to speak. The room we got was a room for the disabled and the bathroom was probably great if you need that kind of facilities. But this was almost impossible for a standing person to use. The wall-mounted shower sprayed the entire bathroom and the handheld shower started at superhot and could only go hotter. On our first morning a loud banging noise (coming from the radiators in a neighbouring room, we found out 45 mins later) woke us up before seven. The following days they were fixing the water so we could not use water between 9am and 5pm, thus had to shower and get out before this time. Not much r&r there! When we requested new towels and asked why there had been no housekeeping, they said there was none and that that only happened every eight days of the stay. And we had to pay a fiver for new towels that day. The first we heard of it, there's nothing about this in the description that we saw on the website here. The room we had was quite spacious, but that was an executive room, apparently. Oh, yeah, we had a kitchen, but the teakettle was broke and the steam-iron incontinent. The staff was generally nice and apologetic, poor guys... I guess if you want good location vs the market, and don't mind paying a lot for said location and some extra space and want to cater to yourself, this is excellent. But we are not coming back!

Very handy location for Notting Hill tube. Safe area. Recommend Windsor Castle pub.

We understood we had booked an appartment but were given a room. Very disappointing and they were unable to move us. Also the room was never cleaned during our three day stay. What are we paying for? Also even though we had paid in full when we booked we were asked for our credit card details as a deposit. We refused as we couldn't understand the reason for this. There was no mention of this on the booking form. Overall not a happy experience!

Stayed here last weekend with my girlfriend and genuinely couldnt recommend the place more. Absolutely fantastic location and literally just one minute from Notting Hill gate tube station which is close to all major locations. The room was really chic and in immaculate condition complete with kitchenette, plasma TV and dvd player. If you're planning on visiting London, stay here.

Great place to stay could not fault it any way but on arrival we was told that we would have to pay a £250 deposit for any damages which we was not aware off and did not pay in the end but apart from that it was fault less. Gorgeous room in great location.

The hotel has a great location, quiet, yet a 1-2 minute walk to the subway which connects to everything. After a shower the bathroom floor became wet, but you can swipe it a way if needed (floor is warm, so it doesn't take that long until it's dry). Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a lovely area, very accessible. Overall, a nice hotel, but the bathroom was just stupid. There was no tub or shower stall, instead the entire bathroom was the shower. It takes hours for the floor to fully dry and drain, making it necessary to take off your socks for a bathroom visit and dry your feet off afterwards.

The staff were very helpful. I arrived very early and they let me into my room well before they needed to. However the room is noisy with constant gurgling of water through pipes in the rooms above. There is also street noise during the weekend. THe doors bang and crash. THe kitchen is very poorly equipped. No instructions on how to use the oven/microwave. Definitely not intuitive!

I gave the comfort of the room a three, simply because the bathroom is so small that the whole bathroom gets wet when you shower. Otherwise the main room & kitchen was roomy and comforable.

Very disappointed with over all stay at 10 Pembridge Gardens, by Mondo in Nottinghill! Great location, however this particular hotel is by no way, and should be considered a "hotel." It's really a dorm like guest house or longstay hostel. The appearance on the outside is quite impressive, however once entering you're greeted by a joke of a reception with un-friendly staff that dont seem to know anything about the company, Mondo in which they work, and are completely unhelpful. One particular young lady refused to help, or move us when we approached her that we had no hot water and the had to take a cold shower!! She then expressed to us that "this is not a hotel, we're just a long stay accommodation." Well I found that quite funny as our perception when booking was that 10 Pembridge was indeed a hotel, especially with the price in which we paid!! The rooms were tiny and untidy, cold shower, and damp towels!! No one ever came to clean our room the entire stayed, replace our towels or fix the shower!! Very disappointing, uncomfortable and overpriced! The only plus is the location, right by the central line and Portobello Markets, restaurants, etc.

Nice place, good room but with a small bathroom. Definetly would recommend it by the location. The staff wass helpfull.

a comfortable hotel near High street Kensington tube station

We stayed for a long weekend @ 10 Pembridge. The location was fantastic, so central and Notting Hill is lovely. Unfortunately when we arrived we were sent up to a room that housekeeping had not yet visited, and we were presented with a dirty room. Housekeeping had not informed reception they were running late, and it was extremely off-putting! However, reception were very apologetic, we left our bags and went for a walk, and when we returned after 40mins or so our room had been cleaned. Apart from that small stumbling block at the beginning we really enjoyed staying there would definitely return. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was new and clean, good shower, and the kitchenette had everything you would need.

Great location in Notting hill and only a 1 minute walk to the tube. Hotel located on a reasonably quiet and beautiful street but also very close to the high street. Room was spacious for a London hotel and it was great to have our own kitchenette. Only downfall was the bathroom - not a fan of a wet room style - but it did dry up quite quickly, especially if you use a towel or 2 on the floors. Bed was a bit small for 2 people (I think it was only a double) but that was a minor issue. Overall great place to stay!

This is a nice spot at a good rate especially if you are staying for a little longer than a typical hotel stay of a few days or would prefer to spend your money on a little kitchen rather than having your room serviced daily. It was a little difficult to find where to go because of the number range in the address: you need to go to #10 Pembridge Gardens and ring the bell; there is a doorman at the back of the hallway who will check you in. One thing to be aware of is that you may be booking a ground-floor studio, in which case you can expect to be living with the blackout blinds drawn for privacy the entire time you're there. Not a huge problem, but don't get hung up on the beautiful pictures of light-filled rooms shown in the hotel description. Another small surprise was that the toilet doubles as a shower room, with the water running directly onto the floor: bring flip flops if you don't want to continually wet your feet after you've showered and want to walk in and out of the bathroom. One of the best things about this place is the location, Notting Hill is beautiful, and these accommodations are very convenient to Notting Hill Gate station.

I had stayed in this venue about 5-6 years ago and it was a typical one star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had undergone a complete makeover and modernization. It is still reasonable priced for London hotels. The acomadation was excellent, the staff very helpful, and the location can't be beat. It is just around the corner from a tube stop and a few steps from a pub with very good pub grub. The neighborhood has multiple sandwich/snack shops, a good grocery, drug store, and interesting little shops. A very good place to stay for a convenient location in London.

Værelset var rent - og meget bekvemt med det lille køkken. Dog savnede jeg mulighed for filterkaffe, der var en lille stempelkande, som efterlod kaffen med meget grums, næste gang tager jeg egen filter og trakt med. Jeg var heldig med stort vindue ud mod vejen. Jeg nød meget at være på værelset. Der er ingen lounge eller fællesareal, men venlig betjening fra den lille reception under trappen. Beliggenheden er perfekt, på stille og smuk vej, og Notting Hill Gate og alle nødvendige butikker lige om hjørnet. Jeg kommer igen.

Muy cómodo, cercano al metro. El apartamento espacioso, con todas las comodidades para hacer algo de comida. La cama muy cómoda con varias almuhadas. Buena climatización. Lo peor las vistas.

L hotel offre davvero un buon confort dato da camera moderna e ariosa e dal cucina prevista nel monolocale . Posizione ottima . Unico neo materassi non comodissimi. Personale molto gentile

La estancia en el aparta-hotel fue muy agradable en general. Es verdad que no te limpian la habitación pero te dejan una fregona en el baño. La habitación es grande muy luminosa, con calefacción y moqueta. El baño amplio con calentador de toallas, la cocina con todo lo necesario hasta tostador!! La cama comodísima y el personal de recepción muy amable. La hubicación inmejorable, el barrio precioso y a un paso de estación bus y metro y 5 minutos de Portobello Road

Rigtig godt hotel/lejlighed med super beliggenhed. Kommer helt sikket igen.

Buenísima situación, a 1 minuto de la parada de metro y bus. Alrededor precioso, muy agradable para pasear y a 5minutos de Portobello road. La habitación es cómoda, grande y aunque no te la limpien porque es un apartamento te dejan una fregona en el baño para recoger el agua de la ducha.

Väldigt bra läge i Notting Hill, vi fick ett rum på bottenvåningen, helt ok även om det hade varit trevligare längre upp i huset.

1. Skønt med eget køkken - nød at kunne lave morgenmad i eget tempo og morgensko. 2. Dejligt område, fred og ro og alligevel tæt på det hele. Notting Hill Gate (Underground) kun et par minutter væk. 3. Fin service - når man havde brug for det. 4. Manglede måske et loungeområde - et sted hvor man kunne sidde, mødes og drikke en kop kaffe, the eller en drink. Men så igen - det er der jo masser af muligheder for lige udenfor... 5. Alt i alt: Vi kommer tilbage!

Jeg bodde der 26 dager pga jobb. Var veldig sentral beliggenhet ift t-bane, buss, og andre fasiliteter som dry-cleaning, restauranter mv. Rommet var stort (oppgraderte 1 størrelse) og rent. Jeg hadde besøk og det var ikke noe problem med ekstrasenger (hadde 2). Eneste negative er at de vasker ukentlig og det kostet 30 £ for ekstraskift, og mer for ekstravask. Videre var Internett håpløs med dårlig tilkobling og tregt nett (jeg kjøpte det "beste" de hadde). Ellers helt topp hvis man er der lenge med kjøkken, kjøleskap, mikro, ovn osv. Personalet var blide og hjelpsomme! Anbefaler.

Quarto com bom espaço, equipado estilo Flat, tudo novo. Fica à 200 m do metrô Nothing Hill, lugar charmoso e movimentado. Gostamos muito.

Fine, moderne leiligheter. Badet derimot var knøtt lite så hele badet ble kliss våt når man dusjet og i lang tid etterpå.. Resepsjonisten var ikke sånn super hjelpsom, men grei nok! Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, ti min med undergrunnen fra alle de kjente gatene :) Like i nærheten lå det også en veldig søt restaurant som het zizzi! God , rimelig mat! Vi bodde på hotellet i tre dager og rommet ble ikke rengjort , og ingen nye håndklær. Var noen lamper som inne virket og litt sånne små ting. Men alt i alt var oppholdet bra :)

Dette er et pent og fint hotell, og de ter nylig renovert. Det ligger i det fine området Notting Hill, som er et rolig og fint strøk. Nærmeste undergrunnsstasjon befinner seg på enden av kvartalet, 30 sekunder unna hotelldøra. Det meste er fint med rommene, men enkelte ting ved badet kunne vært bedre. Etter dusjing var hele badegulvet dekket av vann, men etter en stund tørket det opp. Er totalt sett et fint hotell for pengene, med hyggelig betjening.
