Novotel Paris Porte d'Orleans - باريس

بشكل عام كنت سعيدًا. الجانب الشاق الوحيد في الرحلة هو اصطحابنا لرضيعنا وطفلنا الآخر الصغير. لم يكن خطأ الفندق، ولكن نظام المترو في باريس بشع إذا كان عليك استخدام عربة الأطفال. ففي 95% من المحطات لا توجد مصاعد أو سلالم كهربائية. بما أن هذا الفندق في نهاية خط المترو، كان الانتقال إلى الكثير من معالم المدينة أكثر صعوبة وإنهاكًا عندما محاولة استخدام المترو. يمكنني القول أننا كنا راضين تمامًا بخدمة العملاء وجودة الفندق. إنه بالتأكيد فندق 4 نجوم جميل.

حجم الغرفة مثالي لأسرتي التي تتكون من أربعة أفراد – كان هناك سريرين مزدوجين كبيرين وأريكة للنوم وسرير للطفل، ولم يزل هناك مساحة كافية للتحرك بسهولة. الفندق بالقرب من الطريق السريع وهو مناسب لاستخدام السيارة وتبعد محطة المترو 3 دقائق سيرًا. مع ذلك، فهو في آخر محطة للمترو وبعيد قليلاً عن المعالم السياحية الرئيسية. المنطقة المحيطة على النحو المتوقع عندما تقيم في مدينة حضرية.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. It wasn't too far into Paris that I had to do a lot of driving in the city center and the metro was a few blocks away. There are plenty of places to eat and buy food near the metro and hotel. It didn't take more than ten minutes to get to all the major landmarks. The staff spoke English well and were very kind and helpful. The room was neat and modern and met our needs for two children and two adults. They even had little kids packets for our children and a map for Paris. I would definitely stay again.

A very decent business hotel near where I needed to be. Convenient for the Porte d'Orleans bus and metro interchange. My rate included breakfast which was very good.

We (family of 4) had a great to Paris and a nice stay at Novotel, but at arrival we were not told how to get out of the garage when leaving during your stay and we could not get out. Instead of trying to help us and understand why we had a problem getting out they keept telling us that our credit cards (all 3) were faulty and it's not their fault. Would have been nice with a bit of "let me see what I can do for you" instead of "your card does not work". At other times they were extremely helpful when in trouble (like when our 3 year old took the elevator alone).

Good basic hotel no frill nothing special. Little bit too far out from all attractions

CHARACTERLESS HOTEL WITH POOR SERVICE AND INEXCUSABLE CLEANLINESS! I FOUND MY BED HAD DIRTY SHEETS WITH BLOOD STAINS AND HAIR INSIDE!

Great hotel, not too expensive, great location close to "la cité universitaire" and "Porte d'Orléans". Perfect decor. Fantastic breakfast. Great personnel. A must stay!

The hotel was excellent, modern and very nice. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious for Paris. Staff was very nice and helpful. Nice surprise was to discover that my children didn´t have to pay for breakfast! The location wasn´t that good, though. It seemed like a business neighborhood, so there wasn´t much to do around and the nearest metro station was the very end of the #4 line, which meant we had to ride a lot to get anywhere. What I really didn´t like was the TV options in the room. There was only 1 channel in English (BBC), which was OK, if they didn´t have an adult channel completely open for the kids to run into while they were browsing through the channels. Be very careful with that if you´re travelling with kids!

Overall this hotel is good and an ideal base for sightseeing. Good breakfast and comfortable room - Only criticism is no fresh air in rooms (windows do not open), only heating/air conditioning. Staff very helpful and friendly.

not enough parking

Very convenient, excellent price to benefit relationship, good location with Carrefour 1 block away, Staff VERY kind and helpful, able to speak many languages, close to transportation (Metro, line 4Port d'Orleans). Will definitely recommend and book again.

Hotel condition was good. Breakfast was disappointing, more variety for kids esp would be better. It was also priced too high.

17 of us went for the weekend . ages 11-80 hotel very quiet . had a family area for the kids with x box a books and games . rooms were good size . accommodated us on the same floor . Break fast selection good . I would only recommend that you walk down to the taxi stand for a taxi as the receptionist was interested in making her commission and ordered extra taxis (because of the size of our group ), which were not needed

The hotel was fully booked by the time we had arrived so they kindly upgraded us from a basic room to a suite. The suite was very comfortable and spacious with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. The staff were very friendly and efficient and they needed to be as a buffet breakfast for a fully booked hotel had the potential for chaos! The location is absolutely perfect - less than 5 minutes from Porte d'Orleans metro station. The Porte d'Orleans area isn't very exciting but will service hungry and late arriving travellers, and with a very efficient and cheap metro service running past midnight more exciting destinations are only minutes away.

Overall very good, clean and nice hotel with very good breakfast. Recommend buying the Breakfast package. Though I would not give it 4 stars, I've stayed in 3 star hotels in big cities which were equal in comfort, cleaniness and service. Room needed to be a little bigger for 4 people to earn the 4th star. Very close by access to the metro line which was a plus. Would stay here again.

I stayed in Novotel Porte d'Orleans with my parents in August 2012. I couldn’t believe how spacious the room was for the 3 of us! It’s located in the business centre/area of Paris. So not in the city centre. The metro stop is about 5-10 minutes walk, however its at the end of the line so it takes a while to get/from the main attractions. If you’re travelling with kids from Gare du Nord, its best to take a taxi and will cost around Euro 30-35.

Hotel itself and public areas were modern, nice, and clean. The rooms need an upgrade or at least, new carpets.

Stayed for one night, very nice great location will be coming back for another stay to explore this area again.

I thought the buffet breakfast area was in an area that was too cramped when it got busy and the food stations were not being replenished quickly enough. I also thought the underground parking was very toght to negotiate taking the car down and up in. We also found that the tube to this location of Paris also broke down on two of the 3 nights we were staying in Paris wich meant that we had to catch the bus instead. The staff on the front desk were very helpful though.

generally was a comfortable & pleasent stay. close to metro and seemed to be a good neighbourhood. people who cleaned our room kept forgetting to fill the teabag box for us! that was the only problem :)

Nice clean, modern accommodation. Great selection for breakfast but way over priced.

We arrived quite early and the hotel made every effort to get us a room right away. The provided gifts for our children upon check-in. The hotel was conveniently located a short 5 minute walk to the Porte d'Orleans Metro (subway) station. Using public transport was quite easy, however it was slightly further away from most of the attractions we visited. We stayed out late each night past 1 am and there were no issues safely getting back to our hotel in a very safe neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Porte d'Orleans. We had beed concerned that the room might be small, but it was a great size. It had everything we needed and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were a block from a big super market, dry cleaners, laudromat and many restaurants. Right next door is a Europcar office and the cars are right in the hotel parking lot. Couldn't ask for better! About two blocks to bus and metro stations. We'd stay again in a minute!

Very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful. Near the metro.

The hotel was just fine. A little inconvenient for site seeing but the staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations. Metro station is 3 blocks away and Paris metro is pretty easy to manage. Most restaurants are also about 3 blocks away but this is a good choice for reasonably priced Paris hotel without frills.

Well to start off, I think that there is a HUGE gap between what us Americans consider a 5 Star Hotel and what others consider a 5 star hotel. The staff at this hotel are not friendly at all, they see us as intruders. We checked out at 12 noon and noticed around 8pm that we have left behind a bag full of all our electronic chargers, we contacted them from another NOVOTEL and they promised to look for them and speak to the maid. We returned to Novotel in Paris a few days later after being told that the bag would be saved for us till our return, they informed us that no one had found anything left behind in our room. I was so disappointed with the way they handled the entire matter. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a nice hotel, well run with helpful staff when we stayed there in July 2012. It was noticable quiet ensuring a great nights sleep. We did not eat or drink there as we found those prices too expensive- €7 for a glass of wine, €16.50 for breakfast. Place around the corner much cheaper.

Great Stay! Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. had a fridge in the room and coffe pot so we bought our own coffe and had some food in fridge for breakffast. hotel staff gave us cups, bowls and utensils so we could eat in our room. we had our kids with us so the room was a bit tight with both queen and full size pull out couch,but the price was worth it since other hotels required two rooms for 4 people. great location!! 2 blocks from Paris metro and supermarket. Internet access and x-box for the kids!

The staff was so courteous and friendly. Our stay was so enjoyable! We were only a 5 minute walk from the metro station which took us directly where we wanted to go(all the touristy places, of course). We were recommended a restaurant by staff. It was only a few minute walk from the hotel and so so so delicious! Our room was facing the Eiffel tower, looking over a very busy road, but we couldn't hear a thing. We also utilized their parking which was so conveniently located underneath the hotel. The breakfast was perfect and there was free wifi. Our stay couldn't have been better!

This was a great hotel, which I had selected for business purpose for its location. However, for tourists, this may be more secluded...although you are not too far from the Eiffel tower, which I could spot from my room. A little distance (10 minutes away by metro) gets you right to the center of the action. The rooms are clean and large for France (even large size for US standards). I had an executive room, which was a bit larger than some of the executive rooms I had in the US. So, comparatively speaking, this was an interesting choice. However, if you drive, beware that parking is hard to spot. Drive by the hotel, take the first right on the corner of the hotel (it is a one way street anyway, so you can't go wrong), and directly on your right, there is the entrance to the underground parking.

Large clean stylesh rooms,with some nice views off Paris,totaly sound proof so no traffic noise, good choice for breakfast and close the the metro.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The only thing I did not like was that the WC was separate from lavatory and shower... Location is good, the metro station is about 5 min. walking and you get to city center in 15 minutes by metro.
