The staff and the quality of the hotel were much less than you would expect for the price of the rooms.

This was a very nice - if unexceptional - hotel in a great Magnificent Mile location, connected to a Nordstrom shopping center (no need to go outside). We had a standard King bed room, and it seemed a little small for our purposes, but it was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Free wifi, all kinds of connectors for devices, nice large flat screen TV with external speakers. It was very quiet - great for sleeping, but lacked any energy (they have a very nice rooftop terrace, but it was still closed for the season). Very limited internal restaurant facilities. We did have room service once, which was efficiently delivered, and the food was good. For a romantic getaway, it lacked a little wow factor, but there's nothing really to criticize here.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable. Mike, the guy at the front desk was extremely rude. I travel to Chicago often, and I think this was the 3rd time I have stayed at the Conrad. They were fine the other times I stayed there so this was probably just an unusual event. Also, I would request a floor other than 5 as it is loud at night. Other than that, it was a good stay.

If you're looking for a great weekend in Chicago, stay at the Conrad Hilton. Great amenities, great location. It's on the Magnificent Mile, attached to the Shops at North Bridge mall, and really close to great restaurants.

Stay was perfect and close to my conference site location. It would have been ideal to have my pre-paid stay count toward my Hilton points.

Wonderful accomodations

Nice clean hotel room. Nice size bedroom and bath. Bed very comfortable. Pillows were excellent. Loved having both a shower and soaking tub and toilet in it's own room.

The Conrad is one block off the Michigan Ave. in Chicago. It is super convenient to shopping and tons of great restaurants. A great hotel with very attentive staff, was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and staff for the price paid.

This is a great hotel, and the location is perfect for anyone who wishes to walk around and see the sights. I was very pleased when we arrived early, and they gave us a room instead of making us wait. Very nice hotel & staff. The only suggestion I have for customers making a reservation is to request their room NOT be on the 5th floor. It is the main floor of the hotel and above a shopping mall. It's very noisy in the evening hours. We will stay here again!

You can beat the location and the price was great!

The Conrad Chicago is ideally located, with extremely convenient parking, super-attentive staff, and great comfort. Highly recommended!

Great hotel especially for the price. Clean, convenient, and a friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice location at center of chicago downtown. right above nordstrom shopping center. 1 block away to michigan ave. room is clean and quiet. except sometimes I can hear trains pass by at day time. parking is about $44 a day because it's downtown chicago. wireless internet is a little very slow. and cellphone signal is not that good inside room.

Very clean and posh and well located; I'd stay there again. My only complaint is that the room was just too warm. Perhaps it's the Chicago climate, perhaps people really do want their rooms that warm to combat a midwestern winter, but I found the room to be too warm to sleep in comfortably without setting the AC down into the low 60s, which seemed excessive when the outside temp is in the 40s to have to use the AC. Since the windows did not open to the outside world and the building appeared to be very well insulated, I didn't see any other way. The comforter on the bed seemed like it was designed for cold weather as well, contributing to the issue.

Love this hotel!!! Was in a great location and great price! Felt like it was in the center of everything. Subway station only couple blocks away. Connected to the mall, shopping around the corner, great food within walking distance. Staff was amazing! Opened doors for us and helped us with bags. Called us by names and Allowed us to check in early. The complimentary beverages in front of the restaurant and elevators were awesome. We called the front desk several times for extra towels, blankets, and even a fridge and microwave. They brought it to us with no issue and quickly. Room was also very nice and comfy. Love the Bose stereo in there :) Next time I go to Chicago I definitely staying here

The Conrad Chicago had everything you'd expect in a fine hotel -- and more. The amenities were first rate. The service was what I would expect from a top hotel. All in all, a very nice hotel for a get-away or business. I will definitely return there and will recommend to friends.

I stayed at the Conrad Hilton Chicago in 2003 when it was the Le Meridien. The hotel is still very lovely! The rooms are well decorated, and the beds are very comfortable (although they could be larger for the two bed option). The location is fantastic! The hotel is attached to a great shopping mall (which includes Norstrom)! I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to folks visiting the downtown area!

Loved it. Close to everything on the magnificent mile. Good bar. Very clean. Staff was great.

Can't beat this hotel for location (right across from Millennium Plaza and near the museums), comfort of the rooms or for just having the ambiance of a cool old hotel. Room was really comfortable and my wife loved having two bathrooms so she wouldn't be stuck sharing a bathroom with me and my son. We had probably the finest room service dinner I think I've ever eaten and the price wasn't ridiculous. Downstairs they've added a place called "Snax" which has great grab and go food selections, Starbucks coffee and great desserts for when you don't have time for a sit down meal. Really not much to complain about here. I'd definitely stay here again.

We could not have been happier with our stay here. The location was great for shopping and restaurants. The room was nice with a very large bathroom. The staff throughout the hotel always made you feel welcome and was always trying to find ways to help make our stay better. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Chicago.

I checked in at 12:45am and left at 12:30pm. That is less than 12 hours.... the valet stamp is 15 minutes behind.... the front desk is 22 minutes behind so it looks like a ran upstairs to checkin first and then ran back to valet my car. Their times conflict with REAL time. When i checked out they charged me a 24 hour fee parking of $53 even though i was there for less than 12. Their sign clearly says $32 from 4-12 hours and then $53 from 12-24 hours. Their valet manager said because i stayed "overnight" they had to charge $53. Ummm let's use a bit of logic.... do they charge based on how many times the sun goes up and down rather than how many hours you are parked there? What if i did not sleep? Do they judge parking on how long your head rests on a pillow? Because they valet displays and hourly sign. Easy stuff right? Hourly! So which is it guys? Hourly, based on the sun, moon and stars or how many hours of sleep i get? You kept my extra $20 but you lost my business for life. It's not even about the $20 as i valeted a $150,000 BMW. It's the lack of logic that upset me. ONE thing i need to note.... the valet DRIVER was a VERY nice man. He refused to take my tip because he felt bad his boss charged me the full 24 hours. I tipped him anyway. Everyone was cool except the valet manager. Take the hourly sign down then if you will not go by it!

Have stayed at this hotel before. Great service, huge rooms. Bathroom needed some attention as the handle to the toilet was falling off. I didn't see in the services that the offer the turndown services anymore, which is a shame.

lovely customer service and perfect location amid nightlife, restaurants and shopping. overall great hotel. reasonable price

Great room and place to stay to enjoy the Christmas holidays with excellent shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel is great. The rooms were well appointed and had Bose stereo system along with a great television. Nice set-up for the bathroom.

We were very pleased with our room at the Conrad and the wonderful location to shopping and restaurants. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast selection of delicious food. The bar area is quite comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was all very accommodating and friendly.

We went for a hockey game and shopping to this hotel with friends and we all had a blast! The hotel is connected to a 3 story Nordstrom and lots of other stores and right when you walk out the door you are on the Magnificent Mile. We got there 3 hours early and they already had our room ready which we loved too! Overall awesome hotel!! Hoping to go back in the summer!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Conrad Chicago and being a member of the Hilton Honors program I asked to have my number attached to the room! IU was told by the front desk staff that it was the Hiltons policy to not reward members who booked through a 3rd party reservation system! I was disappointed and this will of course cause me to rethink the hotel chains I use in the future!

An excellent hotel; excellent staff; and, terrific location on the Magnificent Mile. The only downsides are the parking costs and getting to the hotel (the one-way streets and the long way around to circle back).

$51 dollars a day for parking is very expensive. Room Service.....$73 dollars for and American breakfast and a bowl of soup......way too expensive
