Best Western Plus Bayside Inn - سان دييجو

Our trip included Pacific Beach and Coronado so the location was great. Accommodating service, breakfast included, clean comfy room nicely decorated. We enjoyed ourselves.

Walking distance to harbor, two blocks from Little Italy, three blocks from bus/tram pick up, one mile walk to Gas Lamp district, free shuttle service to and from airport. Comfortable King size bed. Would definitely stay here again!!

Firstly they have increased the parking rates to $14 a day..hotel.com site says it is $10, that needs to be changed. For the price they charge the rooms could have been better. Breakfast was not great.

I had a very nice overnight stay at the Best Western Bayside Inn. It was located .6 miles from the location of my appointment on March 7th, and was very comfortable. The people were nice there also.

Convenient, downtown hotel will good amenities, close to good dining (little Italy) and the waterfront.

Very helpfull staff, fast service and cosy rooms, ideal for downtown fast escapes short stays. Very near to all city attractions e.g. max. 30 walking minutes to convention center. Car parking very useful and cheap. Only drop back was the TV, it needs to be upgraded to new technology (LCD, HD,...ETC.) Other than that, its worth the money and stay. I would stay there again.

It is a very good hotel with absolutely reasonable price; 5 minutes walk to the ocean and 5 minutes walk to the great restaurants, Little Italy District. The hotel provides a very good hot breakfast and free shuttle service to and from the airoport. It saves you a lot of money when you travel. If you need to stay in downtown area, I highly recomend!!!!

Nice location, very convenient to bus stations. And the surroundings have good italy restaurants. And the hotel has free shuttle to the airport, which is really nice. The shuttle comes every 30 minutes what you need to do is to check with the front desk when you are going to take the shuttle then they will take care of it.

This is a great hotel in the Little Italy District of SD. Very convienient to all attractions. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

This Best Western was quite reasonable, and I wasn't expecting anything *spectacular*. It was a good walking location for the primary the things I wanted to do, e.g., Balboa Park, Little Italy, Gaslamp District. And lots of public transport is nearby, too. The front staff was friendly and helpful on hotel matters, but don't expect restaurant referrals or anything from them. The hotel is near the San Diego train station, so Amtrak and other regional rail can be heard sometimes. Also, it's near the state courthouse and jail, so there are several bail bonds locations nearby. But I always felt safe walking places in the evening. All in all, I'd say this was reasonable lodging at a reasonable price.

This hotel was reasonably priced, conveniently located, near public transportation, and easy walk to the water, clean and the hotel staff was helpful and courteous. I will definitely book again next time I am in San Diego!

The hotel is convient to the bay. When you walk to the bay you will be at the Star of India. Also a couple of blocks away is Little Italy, just walk down India street. The lobby is on the small size but has comfortable chairs. The breakfast is good for a continental breakfast. You will be disappointed though if you are expecting any kind of meat, hot chocolate or much variety from day to day.

The location and great price are why we chose this hotel. They also have a nice outdoor pool and hot tub! The staff was excellent and the free airport shuttle was not only convenient, he was always perfectly on time! Our stay also included free buffet breakfast at the neighboring grill!! It included scrambled eggs, hash browns, oatmeal, breads, cereals, coffee, juices and fruit. Our only complaint was the bed. They were pretty uncomfortable to both me and my husband.

Quiet, clean room with big, comfortable beds. Staying four night with an also comfortable rollaway bed. Equiped with microwave oven and refrigerator. Quite considerate.

The free airport shuttle service alone is enough to make me always want to come back here. The shuttle driver was a really nice guy too. Actually, everyone was really nice. The location is perfect and the room was decorated well and had a nice view. But... the bed springs squeaked a fair bit and the refrigerator made this slightly annoying ticking sound - I had to put a pillow in the freezer to dampen the noise. Also, the breakfast was bland and luke warm - could use some bagels and cream cheese. The shower temperature was hard to maintain. All that would typically move my rating down to a 3, but the shuttle service made up for it a lot so I gave it a 4.

The Best Western Bayside hotel is well situated to a number of attractions in downtown San Diego. First off, the hotel was about a 5-10 minutes walk from the Santa Fe Depot train station (rode Amtrak from Fullerton, CA). Due to this, the train horns might bother some in the daytime but it was quiet at night. The Maritime Museum, Midway, Seaport Village, and Little Italy can be covered in 20 minutes or less on foot from this hotel. Gaslamp quarter might take 30 minutes. The included breakfast buffet was a step up from continental with the inclusion of eggs, pancakes, and oatmeal. All in all, I had a very positive experience with this hotel.

This was super clean,well maintained Hotel with very good arrangements...Breakfast is complimentary and tastes awesome...!!highly recommended..

Everything was fine except when we get there instead reserved non-smoking room we got stinky smokeing one.Me and my husband both are allergic to smoke. When we asked to change room the staff told us the non-smoking room was not garantied with reservation along and asked for edditional money for non-smoking room as well as additional 10 $ per night for parking which was not mentioned during reservation:(.

well located in central San Diego, close to Freeway. Did not like parking charge of $10 a day . Full breakfast, good service. Internet service as not very good or reliable and very slow.

We were celebrating our anniversary. This location was perfect. Close to Little Italy,which we just discovered on this trip. Love that area. Pretty much close to everything in San Diego. We would stay there again. Staff at front desk so nice and accommodating.

i booked this hotel with some reservations due to other reviews. However, our stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The location was great...near everything we needed. And the elevators were working just fine! The breakfast buffet included both cold and hot food and plenty of choices. i would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Very good location. Good breakfast. Good service. Only issue was that the beds were too soft for my liking.

Came for a show at the anthology. Saaw Patrizio. the setting was perfect for the italian heart throb. The only thing I would mention , would be to staff the cafe and service it a bit. the sign says wait to be seated but no one ever comes to seat you, it left me unsure as to what to do so I left and ate somewhere else. I did have complimentary breakfast the next morning and that was nice.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week at the Best Western Bayside Inn in San Diego. We travel a great deal and found this hotel ticked all the boxes. The airconditioning was super efficient, the fridge cold, the microwave worked, the king size bed was comfortable, the view of the bay was great and we were within walking distance of restaurants and public transport. We would definately stay at this hotel again.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights and found to be convenient and pleasant. The hotel staff are helpful and courteous. The staff for a pick up from train station [close by] when asked for guidance of location. The breakfast is not up to the mark and needs attention of the hotel management.

The best thing this hotel had going for it was the close proximity to Little Italy. We asked for a non smoking room and whilst that was given to us it certainly didn't smell like non smoking. The breakfast that was included in the rate was appaling! We weren't expecting much but a bit of toast and a coffee would have satisfied us, the bay maries were empty of which we could see from others plates had been bacon, eggs, pancakes, perhaps sausages... There was no hot water in the urns to even have a coffee and we could not find a knife to even spread butter on the toast we had made. On the way in we were told we could only sit at the bar stool tables on bar stools, not even at the dining room tables. We attempted to spread our toast and gave up and went over the road for breakfast. After we had finished there and walked back past the bayside inn we could still see the remains of our attempted breakfast on the table inside, it hadn't even been cleaned up yet after approx half an hour or more. If you do stay here go to Little Italy for dinner, it was fantastic!

Our stay was very comfortable whether we were resting in our room or finding we were very close to places we wanted to visit., or eating in your restaurant. We enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly make reservations again for Best Western Bayside when we are back in San Diego. Thank you for the good service you provided. A basic hotel in a good location near to most of the attractions in San Diego and very handy for the airport. The rooms were fine with a few small issues like the phone not working properly and the keycard ceasing to open the door on several occasions. We travelled as two couples and were not given either adjoining rooms or a high floor as requested.

We arrived at the Best Western after a long days travel only to find out that they did not have the room type we reserved. We wanted a non-smoking King room and they offered a smoking room. That is a non starter for me. After about 15 minutes of checking (we were the only folks there checking in) we took a non-smoking double with two beds. They said the room was "not guaranteed" which I believe is false since I pre-paid for the room.

This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of the bay, Little Italy and the Gas Lamp District. The hotel has free internet and breakfast plus cheap parking compared to other nearby hotels. I was impressed overall.

I was staying here for a conference at the convention center. It was an easy 1 mile walk each day to the convention center. The rooms are very comfortable, updated and clean. I especially liked the fact that the room had both a mini refrigerator and a microwave. I was able to store and reheat dinner leftovers... which you can't do in every hotel room. My room was on the tenth floor and it was quiet for 3 of the 4 nights. The first night the people next door were slamming doors and yetlling from 2:30am to 3:00am but this was not the fault of the hotel. There was a small balcony (not accessible) with a view of the bay. Great location near many restaurants. With the free breakfast buffet and shuttle service to and from the airport - I would definitely stay here again!

I can see that the staff are very pleasant, and they tried their best to provide good service. However, there is a lack in efficiency. When we arrived it took the front desk 10 min to find our reservation, because they made the mistake of entering the wrong month into the system! Also when I reviewed my credit card after I got home, I realized the hotel has charged $40 to my credit card without mentioning to me or giving me a receipt. I figured later it has to do with the extra person, but at least I should be told and given a receipt. Other than that, the hotel is a reasonable and convenient choice.

Great location to the zoo, tram depot, Seaport Village, and the waterfront. Incredibly friendly staff. For the price, surpassed expectations. Very comfy bed and pillows.

The restaurant --the pub --was absolutely awful we ate there in teh evening and it was extremely cold the manager refused to do anything --just walked off The starter was wrong so teh girl just walked off The main course was full of grissle and hair and on complaining the manager just walked off-- I was so upset I complined to teh hotel manger who said it was a separate organisation Other people said they had taken one look at teh restaurant and would not eat there At breakfast there was a massive queue The restaurant appears to be a massive problem and one which is putting off guests from staying there

The suttle service to and from the airport was very convenient (call for pick up). The room was dirty with toothpick under bed...and must state smoking or non smoking preference. The walk to the convention center is doable and the trolly/farry and near by.

I recently stayed three nights at Best Western Bayside Inn in San Francisco. For the price I payed, I really enjoyed my stay. The service was basic but good. The room was comfortable, very very clean and included all the usual basics. The location is convenient, very close to the Amtrak / trolleys station and at a walkable distance from the main downtown attractions, bars and baseball park. The only downside was the continental breakfast which is really bad compared with what I've got in the past in similar hotel chains like Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. The only protein served is scrambled eggs, the rest of the buffet consist of cheap fillers. Overall, I would recommend this clean and affordable hotel.

Our stay at the Bayside Inn was great. It was close to great eating spots, walk downtown was ok (given I had a problem with one foot) Taxis in downtown only cost $5 to get back to hotel when worn out. Easy access to bus and trolley which took you to the places you wanted when on holiday. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great Location - But a lot left to be desired. Internet - I could connect to the internet in the lobby area, but not in my room. I contacted customer support, who told me, "We will send a technician, but you will need to go to another section of the hotel to use the internet." That was unacceptable to me. Parking - Parking spaces are very small, so small that regular sized vehicles do not fit into them. Additionally, handicapped spaces were not used as designed. We had a handicapped family member in our party. We were told to park in the handicapped spaces incorrectly in order to get more vehicles parked in the two handicapped spaces. This did not allow room our family member needed to manuever.

Carpet was filthy. The parking lot to the hotel was unsafe. The pool and spa need a huge maintenance. Overall, I will never return to this hotel.
