The single room was pretty ridiculous in its setup. There is a window facing into the hallway and the light shines through the top of the curtain, and there is a window in the bathroom area that does not have a curtain and light is pouring in through the room. Seriously? This setup makes NO sense. Pretty annoying actually. The bathroom area is not closed off, and the toilet/shower was ridiculously small, and I am a pretty small person. I don't get how a stand-up shower needs a bottom faucet. The shower head doesn't move either. Other than that, its was fine for an overnight stay, but don't count on the AC working in the summer. Its obvious the units are broken (my group rented more than 1 room)

My room was non-smoking, but it was still a little musky smelling when I entered it. There is no cell phone or internet reception..at least I did not get any on my phone. However, there was a computer in the lobby with internet connection for use by visitors. There was a small weight room and a swimming pool. The price was excellent. If you can do without internet and cell phone reception for a visit..this is a very good deal. I highly recommend the BW in Lavele, MD.

This hotel was clean and comfortable to stay in, although I would ask for a second floor room since you could hear conversations of workers outside the window at 2 a.m. The only other complaint I would have is that the pillows were quite firm and thick which made sleeping on them difficult. However, overall, I would probably stay again...but with my own pillows.

This was one of the most pleasant stays I've had in a long time. The motel is set among mature trees and other well designed landscaping. It sits directly off two main roads but feels somewhat secluded. The building is designed well and is easy to navigate. It is a two level building but has open spaces between floors along the main corridor. This gives a very pedestrian friendly feel to what is usually an unpleasant experience in most motels. I did not have a chance to take advantage of the pool or the exercise equipment, but will plan to stay long enough next time to do so. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

This hotel was convenient to everything that I needed and the location was very accessible to the interstate.

I gave this hotel an overall rating of 4 out 5 instead of a 5 out of 5 because the air conditioning. It cooled the room very well but was leaking water all over the floor and had been that way (I'm guessing) for some time, by the smell of mold in the room. Fortunately, I had room spray with me because I expected the room to smell bad due to the fact that it was a smoking room (which I requested), so the smell of mold in the room was not unbearable. The water spot on the floor was a big one, but not so big that I couldn't jump over it in order to keep from getting my socks wet. Besides the air conditioning issue, the room was very clean and the staff was very nice during my 2-day stay there. For those reasons, I would recommend BW PLUS BRADDOCK MOTOR INN to others but I would advise them to check the situation with the air conditioning unit in their room if they have allergies to mold.

Our room was fine except for the heat/AC unit. Either it was freezing with the AC on, stuffy and hot when it was not, or when the fan was on and the AC was not, there was a terrible musty smell emanating from the unit. There was no comfortable setting.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and I enjoyed it very much the pool and hottub were great also enjoyed the outdoor area it was very charming. The motel is close to shopping areas and restaurants which was a plus. When i return to the area Iwill be staying there again.

Miniature antique room with 1950's bathroom fixtures. Air conditioning a relic from the '50s worked in 3 hour stretchs, requiring to call the front desk to "re-set the breaker' (and they seemed not surprised, no big deal - to them). All in all a nice Front for a facility that need s to be razed and re-built. Avoid at all costs.

This is an old property, but still viable and kept clean. The room and bathroom were very small, but the bed comfortable, the staff nice, the pool and exercise room suprisingly nice.

Heated indoor pool was wonderful. Room was very clean, matresses and pillows extremely comfortable. Only downer staff was not at all friendly or helpful.

What a beautiful setting and exterior. I was impressed the minute I drove onto the parking area. The interior is showing it's age, but it offers all the amenities I needed, including inroom coffee, hair drier, internet and breakfast. The location is convenient to an interstate and easy to find from the exit. I would recommend this establishment.

Very high marks all around for service, cleanliness, convenience. Comp breakfast is awesome. Swimming pool, Gym, Sauna, Hot Tub are all additional quality features. I really appreciate BW Braddock and look forward to my next stay there.

Good room service from the attached restaurant. Loved the pillows and the mattress. Well appointed room. The desk reception could be a little friendlier to the tired traveler. We would definitely stay here again as you are pet friendly.

Were very satisfied with the arrangements and the room. Only one problem was the shower control, was very touchy. You went from luke warm to hot, and it was almost impossible to get it in between.

The hotel was clean. It had great parking. There was an indoor pool that was very clean and the staff was very kind. A nice continental breakfast was available from 6AM-9:30AM. I would stay there again in a heart beat. It had the best $/night for the area on hotels.com. Go have a steak sub at D'Atris down the street. They are out of this world! The road noise of I-68 is the only downside. Bravo! SY

Top Notch all the way around. My only complaint is that there seems to be a co mingling of air outside the rooms which allows for the smell of cigarette smoke from the smoking areas. Otherwise, the room itself was clean in smell and appearance. The staff was very helpful and professional and sincerely interested in providing excellent hospitality.

The room was incredibly small. The bathroom was so small I would have had a claustraphobia attack it was so small. I went back to the desk, begged and got a larger room for my two night stay which was adeguate at the same rate I booked on Hotels.com. Breakfast was pretty bad. Only hot foot was Oatmeal and only protein was a hard boiled egg. Probably better staying down the street at the Red Roof for $10.00 less and buying breakfast. Meanwhile Wifi left alot to be desired as it was intermittent at best. Will probably check out other hotels in the future.

The room was nice, the service was excellent. Very nice indoor pool and fitness room Would stay here again. Was very close to shopping and restraunts. Nice little hotel for the price. Very recommended.

The room smelled like BO, the thermasrtat was broken could not adjust the heat, cold air coming throgh window, no insulation or sound barriers between rooms. Extreemly overpriced for the quality, should be a one star hotel.

This was a good economy hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the continental breakfast decent. Our only complaint was that the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Only smoking rooms were available, but that might have been because I made the reservation the afternoon we were arriving.

The hotel was nice not too fancy just the way I like it. The employees were nice too. I even plan on staying in a couple months again. The pool was nice. A great hotel if you have kids or just as a couple together.

hotel lobby, pool, rec area, hallways beautiful, love the sky view windows over pool and hot tub. Hot tub and pool vary clean. Bad part,,,, Hot tub has signs posted that say no children under age 12 but hotel staff do not inforce it. There was a 4 yr old in there running around splashing water and throwing stuff in the hot tub. A woman with a small baby in a DIAPER was in the hot tub. My shower did not have any hot water. Carpet in my room was dirty . WFI did not work. Breakfast sucked, only had toast and bagels. Way to many stinky dogs running around. At checkout, desk clerk, asked how was your stay, but did not listen as you explained. I noticed him do this to the two guest ahead of me and then to me also

My wife and I stayed here overnight on the way to a tourist site. We initially picked this hotel because of a favorable rate. Once we arrived, however, we saw it is among the nicest of the many hotels where we have stayed. We loved the rustic setting and especially the clean, comfortable and smell-good lobby, halls, and room. It is a very well appointed place. When I asked the friendly front desk persons for my usual extra pillow, they said, "Did you check the dresser drawers? We put an extra there." Clearly they have thought of everything. The next morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast before setting out. Our one wish was that we could have stayed longer in this most pleasant place!

I chose this hotel for its convenience to my itinerary, and will prefer it in the future and recommend it to other travelers. The quality was a pleasant surprise. A generously landscaped property includes a screen of trees and shrubbery between much of the hotel and the surrounding roadways, giving a sense of quiet and privacy. The shared spaces include a sizeable indoor pool and a comfortable lobby, as well as a broad two-level inner corridor designed to let sunlight from skylights illuminate both levels. My room was immaculate and in good shape in every detail. The staff was cheerfully courteous and helpful. Courtesy breakfast was spare but adequate, though I had a very satisfactory dinner in the adjoining restaurant in the evening of my visit. I have not encountered so many pleasant details outside of some urban "luxury" facilities, that come at "luxury" prices, which this does not. Bravo!

If you need a place just to stay over and do not care about a good breakfast and warm pool this is the place. The staff is nice but the management needs to spend a little more attention to some of the above.

I returned to this hotel after first stay 2 years ago. The place is large but arranged in pods so the rooms are very convenient to the parking lots. Nice setting with picnic tables next to a stream (between 2 busy roads), large pool and deck with indoor and outdoor lounge chairs, good exercise room. Staff is very friendly, efficient, helpful. Rooms are large, well-furnished, clean, free WiFi. I would definitely recommend this stay if you are here on business (hotel has many conference rooms, which I did not use) or visiting the Cumberland scenic area.

We stay here every June when we do a show in the area. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Great indoor pool and hot tub. It's not 5 star accomodations but is right in line with what you would expect for the price. We had a king room with a sofa, fridge and microwave.

I stay here every year for a weekend to attend a local baseball camp. The rates are the lowest and the place offers a great deal for the price -- pool, small exercise room, fridge, microwave, and no-hassle WiFi. The bed was comfortable and the hotel itself was quiet. One sort of inconvenience is the hubbub from the streets surrounding it, as they are both high-speed roads -- makes it kind of challenging to get out. Otherwise, it is a fine place and the best option for remaining fiscally responsible while having decent accommodations!

Last year around this same time we stayed at the Braddock Best Western. Although there are other motels in the area we chose to go back this year because it is one of the cleanest motels we have ever stayed in. The adjoining restaurant makes everything very convenient. If we ever have an occassion to go back that way we will definitely stay at the Braddock.

The Braddock Inn has a romantic setting next to Braddock Run. The Inn is located close to my satellite work office (SHA's District Office). We enjoyed the pool during the one rainy day. The Inn's location enabled our road trip to Cumberland and Deep Creek Lake.

After driving through the mountains or driving through DC traffic, this is a great location to stop and relax for the night or for a few days. Whether you sit on the swing by the babbling brook or just enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery. I found the room big enough and everything in working condition. I could sit on the outside deck area and watch my son in the pool. There are plenty of stores and restaurants near by if you need something the hotel doesn't provide.
