Nice staff but there was no shampoo and the bed sheets were torn and had holes in them. Overall pretty nice, however. Close to mall of America, and very affordable.

Knowing that my son and I weren't going to be in the hotel or the room for long periods of time, I when with something affordable and close to our destination. The room was small, but clean. There was no shampoo or wash cloths. Pillows weren't great. But the breakfast in the morning was good. Again-you get what you pay for.

You really can't much more than this for the price. Helpful people at the front desk, convenient location, free taxi service to/from the hotel. Continental breakfast is very simple, but it worked well for me. Very satisfied with what I got for the cost.

Enjoyed my stay. Everyone is very friendly. Rooms are very clean.

I was heading out on business trip and the night before it started snowing like all get out. My flight was very early so I thought it best to leave the night before and stay near the airport. All I needed was a cheap clean bed and a shower, that was exactly what I go...no more, no less. I made the mistake of assuming there would be an iron in the room....nope. I made the mistake of thinking I would get a decent cup of coffee in the morning....nope. I made the mistake of assuming if all else fails and my flight was canceled, I would have wireless to work off of.....I kind of had wireless. The signal was so weak I actually got better results connecting to the free Denny’s Wi-Fi next store. That said all in all, for what I need, it was fine. Would I bring my wife and kids there, no. Cheap clean bed, shower and ease of access to the airport...I guess you get what you pay for!

Overall, our stay was fine. We were shopping at the Mall of America and didn't actually spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we checked in, the staff member was very polite and helpful. The room was adequate (the mirrors behind the beds were a little weird). By the time we got to the continental breakfast, there was not a lot of choice so that was the weakest part of the stay in our opinion. The hotel was very convenient for visiting the MOA because it was right off of the interstate.

The word adequate describes this hotel. At $60/night you should not expect any more and if you get your room any cheaper then you should be smiling. There is nothing to dislike or like about this place. If what you are looking for is a bed to sleep in and have a car to get around to where you want to go, it is fine. The hallways stink of cigarettes but you are only in them for a few feet from the elevator to your room so that is not a complaint either.

This was a nice hotel. Good value. Good location.

The carpet looks and feels dated, otherwise it is a great hotel to stay. You get a good deal for the price you pay for. I would recommend staying in queen suite instead of queen bed because I felt queen suite was a bit too small.

very nice services

I enjoyed myself for the most part. Not paying very much, I didn't expect much. One of the employees wasn't very pleasant. But I enjoyed how close it was to the mall.

Not for scuba divers. There is no coffee maker in rooms. No shampoo in bathrooms. If you scuba in tank at mall take shower there.

I stayed here attempting to save a few dollars before traveling from MSP. This hotel was disgusting. I actually bought a blanket to sleep on top of. The rooms smelled like a smoking break room. The carpets were dirty. The only positives were the towels were clean and they allowed me to check in early. This felt like a high class homeless shelter. I will never stay at another Microtel. There is no way this hotel should have a guest rating higher than 2

Hotel location

The rooms were clean and quiet. We did miss having a microwave and small fridge since we were there for 4 days. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit and nicer bagels and muffins with the complimentary breakfast They were on the dry side.Overall not a bad place to stay for the price we paid.

Clean everyday, but our room had no fridge, walking distance (28min) to the mall! Across the street from bus service.

Room could have been cleaner. The entire back wall behind the beds is one gigantic mirror which made me second guess what kind of hotel it was - looking to have some place to rest my head close to mall, not have a kinky shack-up. Hallways were loud with partiers late into the night. Continental breakfast was the smallest I had ever seen (there were only bagels, mini muffins, and hot and cold cereal). This hotel served its purpose, but next time I stay in Bloomington, I'll stay somewhere else.

It would have been nice if the breakfast was warm & the area was bigger. Decent place to sleep.

The first room that I was given toilet overflowed. They moved me to another room. The heater/air conditioner did not work properly in the new room. At times it would blow cool air instead of heat. There is a 24 hour Walmart across the street. The motel is in an industrial area. The motel is ok for the price.

The rooms have all been re-done. They are small but comfortable and Clean. We are a band and so we are just looking for a place to sleep. It might not be a great family vacation hotel but as a clean comfortable safe hotel this is awesome.

Rooms are very compact. I just need a good clean bed so this fits my needs. Would not stay here if I had my kids with me. The breakfast offerings are very slim (cereal, bagels, and one type of muffin). No creamer for the coffee (only powdered). Convenient to MOA and MSP.

We really enjoyed the room itself- very clean and comfortable. The service wasn't spectacular. We also were expecting some hot items on the breakfast buffet, with a bit more variety. Can we get some fruit or yogurt? Other than that, it was a great location and we would come back.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel when we took a weekend vacation with our 2 kids. The staff members were very friendly during the short time that I had talked to them. Our room was very clean and nice, but nothing fancy. This is the perfect place to stay if you are just looking for a place to crash after an eventful day at MOA. There is no pool at this location, but who needs a pool when there is a nice waterpark right down the road.

For the fifty-something range, it's hard to beat this place. The rooms are comfortable and convenient, the heaters worked, and the breakfast was tiny. (bagels and cereal for all). I feel like the front reception area was dirty, but we liked the receptionist and were very welcomed. I'll stay again.

This was a nice hotel that was clean and comfortable. Not luxurious, but that's not what I was expecting based on how much I paid
