absolutely a fricken nightmare pool and fitness center was closed when we arrived lounge/bar had a dress code and we could not get in had to drive somewhere else to have a drink pool/fitness center closing and dress code for lounge was not on online advertisements or was it even in the in room literature in hotels guest book absoute nightmare of a trip

It was only one night stay but the receptionist was all the time over the phone and receive me. The breakfast room was not well maintained and very gloomy.

All the hotels outside of DC are no good. This hotel was fine to sleep, nothing more. And that is all we did there. Spent the entire day in the city and came back to sleep. The bfast help start the day off. Nothing bad about the staff, just a old run down hotel. We drove by all the other hotels I was looking at and they were all bad. If you don't want to pay 300 a night to stay in DC, and you just need a place to crash....I guess it is fine.

The stay was pleasent, the overnight rep could have been alittle more better @ greeting her guest during check in.

The hotel is outdated. A bucket is at the entrance of our floor for dripping water from a hole on the ceiling. Repair worker went into our room even with the posted "Do not disturb" sign. They installed a thermometer, but left the conditioner dead. And the night was hot. Pool water was very dirty with a lot of Chlorine. Bathroom floor was wither dirty or too old with yellow marks everywhere. However, the bed is decent. towels are clean. Lotions, soaps and shapoos are very good. Shower is hot and powerful enough.

Convenience location, good break first , nice staff

neighborhood was a little scary. room was clean but hotel was in state of disrepair (leaking vents in hall ceiling, overall had a shabby feeling) .

This was the first time we stayed at a Best Western and were very impressed. It was within a 15 min drive of DC and about 2 miles or so from a Metro station. The hotel offered free parking and shuttle service to the Metro station. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The price was a bit higher than we would have liked but it was for one night so we were OK with that. The 'deluxe breakfast' was better than most and offered a wide variety. The only downside to the breakfast was one waffle maker so you had to wait a bit. The heated pool looked clean but we did not use it. They also had a little gift shop inside the main lobby that provided reasonable priced 'gift' items to take home to family and friends. There were also resturants within walking distance of the hotel. Getting to the hotel was a little tricky so stay to the right once you get off the interstate and you will see the sign for Princess Garden Parkway :-) Overall the stay was great.

For the most part the stay was good. Very good breakfast included. Pool hours could be a bit better, only open from 6pm - 10pm. The shuttle service was good except for the last day. The driver didn't show up and I had to pay for a taxi to the train station. Hotel staff didn't even offer to reimburse. Even after I asked.

Our stay was basically a mess. My daughter got stuck in the elevator and nobody responded when she pressed the alarm. Thank goodness a fellow guest helped out. The pool area is dirty and rarely had towels available. There was overflowing garbage in the breakfast area. Don't waste your money here.

be aware pool hours 6pm - 10 pm, has decent breakfast, good for the money, 20 minutes depending of trafic to w-dc, we got every thing we need for nice vacation fridge, micro, breakfast, pool & clean room.....

Pool was coooooooool 65 degree. Wi-Fi was slower than dial up. Breakfast was like being at the soup kitchen. Bathroom had unfinished tile work.

This hotel was ok for the price but was disappointed to learn that the pool only opened from 6-10pm on the weekdays. Wish it was opened more hours.

The was nothing physical wrong with this hotel. However, unless you are a party goer I do not recommend this Best Western. Both Friday and Saturday I had to call for the hotel to quiet the Hall noise and I was on the sixth floor. The answer was they have a bar. People should not be roaming loudly and chaoticly in the Halls. I did not call until after midnight yet real quiet was not until 3a.m. each morning. Thank goodness Sunday night was quiet or I might have had a very dangerous ride home on Monday. Worth the price break - NO.

Great Hotel!!! All locations drivable by Car. Free Breakfast with a great service!! What more can you ask? Great value for money

The Good: Nice hotel, the staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was good. The Bad: if you're thinking of using the computer to print hope its in a text document because their computer doesn't support word or pdf. Its also extremely slow like pluck my eyes out slow. Their wifi in the room i was staying in was just manageable. In my opinion the beds were too soft. Overall: if you don't mind soft beds and slow wifi then this place is A+

Stayed here for 4 nights on our family trip to DC. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is alright. The staff is friendly enough and the rooms are clean. On the down side we asked twice for a microwave which never arrived, the tub drained extremely slow and the shuttle to and from the Metro wasn't always on time. Getting to the hotel is a bit complicated, you have to pass the hotel and then do some traffic maneuvers to turn around. But the hotel was priced less then others in the DC area so we were willing to put up with these little inconveniences.

The hotel was very unclean and the staff acted as if it was a chore to do their job. I had items let in my room from previous consumers. My room had cob webs in the ceiling and the bathroom was dirty. I spoke with the front desk and she was very nanchalant, telling me someone would call be back but to this day no one called me back. My car almost got towed because the front desk person forgot to give me a parking pass to park on hotel property. I had to rushout to speak with the tow truck gentleman, then she gently said "O i'm sorry, I forgot"

I pulled into the parking lot upon check in? Proceeded to step out of my car and saw three used condoms. The customer service was rushed and unfriendly. Probably could have done better at a super 8.

The room was very comfy. The atmosphere was very peaceful and inviting. I actually felt like I was at home being there.

This was actually the nicest hotel I have stayed in in a long while! All of the rooms are non-smoking (and they mean it). I had a room with a king-size bed, which also had a desk and chair, a love seat, and a coffee table. It was like a suite. I was able to get a lot of work done (with the free wi-fi Internet). The hotel is located very close to Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary (just a few minutes down the road). The morning breakfast bar was good, and coffee was available in the lobby 24-7.

The minute we walked into this hotel, the girl at the front counter was extremly rude. We got into our room and there was a dead bug on the pillow and the comforter on the bed had black stuff all over it. The next evening we got some ice out of the ice machine and a dead bug fell into the container. We reported it to the front desk and they did nothing about it. The next evening we returned to the hotel at about 11 pm to find the parking lot full of cars and about 4-5 police cars. We walked into the hotel and heard "rap" music playing extremly loud with 2 police men in the lobby. We got into our room and had to hear loud/screaming girls all night. We reported it to the front desk and found out that they host night clubs in the lobby of the hotel on the weekends. My husband and I are usually easily pleased. We would never reccommend this hotel.

The good thing about my stay was how well I was treated. The two women at the front desk were especially warm and more than helpful. The late night snack delivered to my room was hot and very delicious. However.....the room itself, left a lot to be desired. It was very cold when I arrived, when I turned on the heat, it was VERY NOISEY! My sleep was interrupted everytime the heat "kicked on". Also, there was no microwave or refridgerator in the room which I found strange. every other room in every other hotel that I've booked with hotels.com did. Also, neither bed had a comforter on them. If I had one then I possibly could have left the noisey heat off and just wrapped myself up. Finally, and I think most importantly, the shower tempature sunday morning! UGH! It took literally 15 minutes for the shower to get close to hot! I finally gave up, completely shutting off the cold faucet and making do with a "tepid" shower. Wasn't a great way to start my business day....If this is the regular at this hotel, I will not be returning or recommending, at all. Thank you.

When the reservation was made adjoining rooms had been requested; however, at check in informed that this would not be possible. The first room we checked into had been smoked in, not good for a non-smoking facility. Another room was provided, but the clerk was not pleased and the maintenance personnel had no idea what was happening, sine he was checking out the smoke alarm. The breakfast bar did not live up to its billing as a super selection. It would have been nice to have a queen bed and the heater sounded like a jet was taking off in the room.

Stayed at this budget Hotel for 2 nights for the Convenience of hotel location: A couple of fights (guests at hotel) broke out during the evening through 4 am and there was no security person to be found!! very unpleasant experience!

One of our rooms was above a restaurant/bar/lounge which was playing very loud music for several hours after midnight. The noise from the bar kept me awake for hours. As you can imagine, this made for a most undesirable stay. In addition, the temperature in the rooms was very cold and the beds had only a thin blanket on them. There were no extra blankets in the rooms and there was not a thermostat in the rooms that would have allowed us to control the temperature.

The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood. Our room needed some major cleaning. The floor had stains all over it and much of the wallpaper was peeling off.

Staff - excellent - very friendly and accomodating Room - clean and fairly updated Lobby - clean and pleasant Breakfast - average (avoid the powdered eggs!) Parking - felt secure with regular checking by staff Pool - didn't use it but it looked nice For the money - good value - we'd stay again We didn't use the shuttle to the metro because it was so convenient to just drive over.

We have a wonderful time on our trip - your hotel w very nice and the staff was wonderful. I have already recommended your all's hotel to a friend of mine that is visiting DC next week.

Our room was as too noisy due to the AC outside and AC inside the room. The hourly shuttle to the Metro was a inconvienient. the breakfast room was not very inviting.

well hotel was ok but there was a lot of delay by checking in only one person was checking in resulting a long wait , breakfast was ok but staff talks about how people eat and weather the take food up or not i do not feel that that was approprate if someone wants to eat in his or room there should be no problem telling people that they can take food that is rediculous .the kitchen staff does not have manners very rude i must say apart from that there is no ice machine in each floor and there is no sign where u could get one you had to ask around .
