BEST WESTERN PLAZA INN - بيجون فورج

On the evening of 04/05/2013, my 17 yr. old son & his guest had planned to swim in the pool. (Upon check-in we were instructed that towels for the pool had to be picked up at the lobby desk.) The boys went to the desk and asked for towels for the pool and the "gentleman" at the lobby desk informed them that they were out of towels but if they wanted some they (the boys) needed to go to the otherside of the complex, find the laundry room and see if there was anyone in there that could give them a towel. Both boys being mildly autistic could not understand what they were being told to do. They returned to the room paniced and dissappointed that they may not be able to go swimming now because they couldn't get the "right" kind of towel. I went to the lobby desk thinking the boys must have misunderstood the desk clerk. I asked for pool towels and was told that they were waiting for towels to be folded, but I could go to the laundry room and "fetch" the towels myself. I told the clerk that that was not acceptable. He looked at the other clerk at the desk and gave me a half shrug and made not attept at an appology or offer to ahve housekeeping or someone from the hotel staff get some towels. As faithful returning guests of Best Western facilities everywhere we travel, I have to say may have to rethink my loyalties when returning to Pigeon Forge, Tn. My family willbe staying elswhere from now on.

Very nice room for the price. Comfortable and clean and close to everything! Breakfast was very good as well.

Hotel was in great location, easy in and out access. Room itself was ok. Very basic, fridge and micro is the added bonus that made it nice. Had to go outside to separate building for breakfast and then never did have any for the 4 nights we were there as always crowded and not much room at all. Indoor pool also in separate building.

over all the room was very clean and comfortable. the bed slept great and the jacuzzi was very relaxing after walking around in the cool rain. the only draw backs was the continental breakfast where the choices were limited to mostly cold foods and really did not taste all that great either. the wireless internet was horrible in our room the signal was weak and inconsistent. most of the time if I could connect to the hotel internet it would only connect for 10 -15 mins max. I called 3 different times to the desk and the problem was never resolved. other than those 2 things the room was clean, comfortable, the staff was very nice, i would stay here again hoping the internet problem is fixed but will definitely dine out for breakfast.

i took my sister and one of her granchilden also one of my grandaughters they had a great time playing in the indoor pool our visit to the dexie stampeid was alsome i would stay at this motel anytime /thank you for your kindness

My complaint is that I reserved a two bed room on the ground floor weeks before we were to arrive. When we finally did arrive, we were given a single king size bed on the second floor. There was no excuse or reason given for this error. I feel that you should not even take reservations if you can not honor your commitment on the requested accomodtions. Needless to say this is the last time we will stay at any of your facilities.

We didn't realize the hotel was actually a motel. The room smelled like mildew and the noise level from the motorbikes was unacceptable. The motel can not control the bikers reeving their engines at 11pm, but having a small child waking up from the noise, makes the parents unhappy. The location gives great access to the heart of Pigeon Forge, and quick access to Gatlinburg and the National Park. Use hwy 441 for quick access to Severville and the Gatlinburg by-pass for access to the National Park.

Our stay was great. I was disappointed in the fact that I was told that they order Leisure plus plan and was suppose to have received my room at 50% off. However, this did not happen. Also, they overcharged me and I went back to the office and they did seem to square this away (this was according to the email you sent me stating what my total would be). Thanks

First time staying in this hotel. Overall this was nice hotel. Great location, walk to Dixie Stampede. Room was clean, although had a strong cleaning supply odor upon arriving, bought air fresheners & that cleared it up. Maid service was ok-everything had not always been cleaned, did not try continental breakfast because it was too crowded, no seats & had to make your own waffles. The cleaning crew starts very early & rolls their carts back & forth in front of your room so you can't sleep in, if you wanted to. For the money it was all we needed & in the future this will be the first hotel I contact for trips to Pigeon Forge!!

When we checked in we were not informed anything about the complimentary breakfast, or anything else about the hotel, the rooms smelt musty, the carpet felt sticky like it needed a good deep clean, bathroom was clean and adequate, good location for breakfast at Denny's or Ihop, one note is DO NOT wear any jewellery when going in the swimming pool, my friend and I had our silver heavily tarnished from the chlorine, we advised the staff they should put a notice up but they weren't too bothered, Definitely would not stay here again as along the strip there are a lot more hotels/motels

The hotel seemed a bit old. Not enough seating for the breakfast area. The bed was too hard. I hardly slept at all the first night of our stay.

The stay was very pleasant and close to the beach. I booked 2 rooms with a free full breakfast for 4, the restaurant that was at the hotel closed the week before we arrived no vouches were given for breakfast any other place we were told sorry there is no option.

The hotel was great! the pools were great! the breakfast was great! This will be our hotel of choice every visit. We loved it!!

When we were in transit to our destination I was very pleased when we arrived at the hotel. On our return visit we had more time to enjoy the hotel and it was the very best one of our entire 2 week trip. Thank you for the wonderful folks that you have hired, they are all helpful to our needs and most pleasant. Cleanliness of the hotel was very good to see.Enjoyed it and will be back..Pat

It was an awesome hotel. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very reasonable rates! we would definitely recommend to others. I been to Pigeon Forge on 6 different occasions, best hotel I've stayed at by far.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here for the weekend. Our room was right next to the indoor pool and not far from everything we wanted to do. We will for sure be coming back. :)

Over all we had a great time. There was a time or two the room got hot because we stay in a room near the inside pool. There other people there that let their kids stay in the pool area way late 11:00pm late. That was real loud. It eco in the room. The breakfast awesome.

I was surprised at how nice this hotel was for the price. The room was pretty nice- wasn't expecting the best, but like I said, for the price, it was great. Enjoyed the indoor pool and the free breakfast at their cafe. The front desk clerks were very polite. We will definitely stay here again!!

Very spacious rooms. 3 swimming pools located in various convenient locations. Overall great experience and will definitely stay again.

Got a great rate on this hotel for a one night stay and was pleased. The most important things to me in a hotel stay are a clean room and a safe location and this hotel met both of these needs. Staff was professional and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property was nice and included three pools (one indoor), although I did not have time to use them. Breakfast was good, but the variety might not be expansive enough to please everybody. It was fine for me. The only negative comment I have was nothing the hotel could help. A large group arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night and was loud enough to wake me up (I'm a sound sleeper). Once they got to their rooms they settled down quickly (thankfully) but for 10 minutes or so it was annoying. The following morning they were a bit noisy, too. Keeping in mind the size of this group and the age (teenagers with some adult chaperones) they were actually fairly well-behaved. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I usually have to pay more for rooms that aren't as clean, so this was very pleasant.

other than hot not not working i was deappointed because i have a bad back and ahot tub works wonders on my back and our door to room stuck everytime we went in other than these 2 things it was a great place to stay, we have stayed here 3 times this was the only problems

We always stay @ Best Western Plaza ,its very clean,staff is very friendly,great location, the price is great.

We were concerned at first, because from the street it looks like an "outside" hotel - that is, the rooms opening to the outside. (We prefer inside.) When we reached our room, it was in the back section - farther from the main street, thus much quieter - and those rooms are "inside." The room was clean, well made-up, and the beds were very comfortable. The climate control system worked great, and the television line-up was satisfactory. The only complaint we had - and this is typical of all hotels we have stayed in lately - was that the h/ac unit cycled on and off rather than the fan running continuously. This means that the sound level in the room varied according to what the h/ac was doing. That was our only (minor) complaint. We were well satisfied with the condition of an older, but well appointed and maintained facility. We would definitely stay there again!

We booked this hotel mainly because it had an indoor poor & we were here the week between Christmas and New Year. First, the room was VERY spacious so the four of us had plenty of room to spread out. The pool area was outside our door, but down a few flights. This was great because we were able to keep an eye on the teenagers as they went down to swim. The staff was very diligent in closing the pool @ 10:30 every night so the noise stopped. Even when a truck parked in two spaces the front desk called him and very nicely asked him to re-park. The location was great because once I learned to turn like I was going to Dollywood, then make another right before the bridge, I came right in the back way to the hotel. Overall, this will be our hotel of choice every time we come to PF!!

This hotel was amazing and very friendly. The room was beutiful overlooking the river next dorr. It was walking distance of many restuarants and gift shops too. Just 2 miles from Dollywood too!

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel enjoyed everytime, clean, comfortable, convenient location. However this time we stayed in the building where the indoor pool was located the chlorine smell was very very strong when you came into the building, although it did not carry over into the room. we would choose not to stay in this particular building but would most definitely stay at the hotel again.

VERY GOOD, STAYED THERE LAST YR. DISIDEED TO STAY AGAIN. VERRY QUITE, CLEAN AND BED WAS SO CLEAN AND BETTER THAN LAST YR. WILL STAY AGAIN.

This hotel was decent. The rooms were huge (especially the bathrooms), but definitely dated. We didn't plan on spending much time in the room, so the only thing we required was a clean place to sleep. Good location in downtown Pigeon Forge. While the hotel was completely sold out, it was not too noisy, and there was still ample parking. We were bummed Oct isn't considered fireplace season :( In the end, nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either! However, we accidentally pulled into the Family Inn & Suites next door...I had a mini panic attack, haha. So, anything after that place would seem like the Crystal Palace :)

Our room was nice. one thing I didn't like was it smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. That was the only thing I didn't like about it.

We made our reservations we got there around 2:00PM and was told our room would not be ready until after 2:30PM we rode around until almost 3:30PM and when we got bad he gave us our key card and we got all our belongings and went to the room(290) and to our surprise it was still not clean and ready we tried to call the desk and jno one answered after about 10 mins of trying to call someone we started back down to the office and when started to get on the elvater 3 women stepped off and we explained the situation and they said to wait and they would clean it so we had to sit in the hall with all our bags and things til they were finished and all that was said about it was we had alot of checkouts,very disappointed...........

Good location within walking distance of Dixie Stampede and lots of restaurants and even a trolley stop. The room appeared to be clean however, I noticed right off that there was mold around the window casing and a/c unit and also on the curtains. Later that night while turning the sheets down there was something on them lipstick or something. Grossed me out but I was too tired to complain and wait for new ones to arrive so I slept on top of bedclothes. **Would not recommend.

Wonderful room! We were in the building with the indoor pool. The room had a fireplace and updated furnishings. VERY large room. We couldn't have been happier and the price couldn't be beat. We were 5 minutes from Dollywood and 2 doors away from Dixie Stampede. Very convenient location. We arrived late at night and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The daytime cleaning staff were pleasant and helped me find the breakfast room. Breakfast was substantial - waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, donut holes, bisquits and sausage gravy.

Very nice for the price. Friendly desk clerks, three pools which are very convenient, the breakfast was wonderful and very beautiful, neat area to have breakfast. I would recommend it!!!
