Very satisfied about the hospitality of great staff and front and housekeeping staff including room attendant who cleans the room doing a good job.

if you like a very good service hotel, good food especially breakfast...in DAVAO go for MARCO POLO HOTEL, the best...!

Overall, it was excellent. They have exceeded our expectation.

nice staff & services! I brought my notebooks & tablet and they provided me with two wifi access. I believe the location is also okay as it will not spend you much for taxi to anywhere.

Good location,go to afats to eat. Don't eat at the hotel ,or use the mini bar unless you want to be charged all kind of fees. Pool and workout room is nice.

this is a great luxury hotel with fine linens, great staff, and an amazing view. Breakfast is a large buffet to please any pallet!

Checked in late but rooms were still not available. Made reservations on-line. Had confirmation no available but still requested for copy. Refused to provide complimenary wi-fi access to print. Wanted to charge 1 hour access. Had a much more pleasant visit 2 years ago. Staff could use more training on customer service rather than nickel-and-diming guests.

I just stayed at the Marco Polo from Nov 24 - 27, 2011. Great location. Very central to everything. The Gaisiano Mall is a 15 minute walk away. The Abreeza is a 30 minute walk away. The hotel buffet breakfast has a great selection. The service overall is 5 star. I was able to check in early and check out late because of my flight timings. If you join their loyalty program, the wireless internet is free. The pool area is phenominal. Make sure to spend some time lounging by the pool. The gym is also well equipped. Many banks are located within walking distance including HSBC and Citi as well as many other Filipino national banks. I can't wait to go back again. I was very, very impressed with this hotel. I am temporarily living in Manila and it was certainly nice to stay in Davao at the Marco Polo away from all the hustle bustle of Manila. Other hotels with higher customer ratings and lower per night fees were available however, I was certainly glad that I selected the Marco Polo.

Great location, excellent view, service was personal first class and faultless. Only small issue there was a strange odour in lobby restroom area I think due to plumbing.

In my room the tolit ran every 20 minuets, this was reported on my second day but no one came to fix it. There was some mole on the ceiling in the bathroom and the hall was smelled on mole.

We stayed in a deluxe room for three nights, but the room was not that nice overall,just average.There was no free internet access,and the charges were very pricey for the Philippines(It should be free in a so called 4 star hotel in my view)The rooms were tidy and satisfactory,but the biggest plus,was the buffet breakfast..There was a very wide range of different foods and they were all very nice.Im not sure if I would stay here again, I found the Waterfront insular to be better value for money..

the hotel is nice location and in the city center , The room Furniture Especially the chair at the room is Consumer to the large use, No wifi internet free in the room also in the Lobby of the hotel, the pellow is Not comfortable.

We specifically went to Davao to witness Kadayawan. The parade was held just across Marco Polo hotel. It's the best seat in town. It's just too bad we didn't get to see the floral and fruit parade the next day because we have to catch the flight the day before. We just got nervous on our way to the airport when receptionist told us we won't make it on time. But concierge did their best and helped us catch our flight and we did indeed. Thanks to the Marco Polo shuttle driver who kept calm yet conscious of the time.

we got two rooms for this vacation. we had to chance one of the room upon checking in beacuse it smells of raw sewage. The location is good, the buffet is the best. We hired a taxi for a tour to edens gae, japanese tunnel, croc farm, jacks ridge, seaside dinner for a total of around 10 hrs tour. The driver charge us 3 thousand. The amount on the meter is onl around 1800 pesos. will considering the conveneince of having a driver wait for us is worht the price.

Very nice free breakfast was great but they are expensive to eat in resturant. Also no free internet. But over all a fine hotel close to malls and pretty safe because the college is right there

This was my second stay at the Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City. The first stay was in 2008 and the hotel was great, so I stayed again. This time, the rooms were visibly worn and in need of renovation. Speaking of renovations, the Cafe Marco is closed for renovations and the other restaurants were not to my liking. After renovations, I expect the Marco Polo to be great once again. I would not recommend staying for the next several months.

To make it short i stayed in room 722 and the beds and your sleep are important there was no comfort in the bed at all i stayed there 4 nights and they really need to update there building cause the rooms smell like mildew in the carpets in the room and outside the room on floor 7 and also update the shower heads water goes everywhere when it comes on and internet should be free not charged every 24 hours. I moved to another room the last day that i was there to room number 1118 the floor smelt better but the comfort of the bed was still the same and the shower head was the same also water was everywhere but other than that the staff was good and very nice but also needs to tell there guest what events they have and what is going on in the hotel. You have to find out by yourself or just happen to show up at the right time

ma chambre manquait d'entretien, les rideaux étaient très sales, ampoules manquantes à mon arrivée, état général plutôt vétuste. Ce qui m'a le plus déplu est a facturation érodée de mes consommations en chambre : la TVA et les taxes m'ont été comptées 2 fois, ce que j'ai dû faire rectifier. il y a très peu d'hôtels convenables selon les critères européens à Davao. Le Marco Polo reste donc le meilleur malgré ses défauts. Le directeur général est charmant et s'est montré attentif à mes observations en me rappelant que l'hôtel était en cours de rénovation, étage par étage, et qu'en ce qui concerne l'entretien général de son hôtel, je ne devais pas oublier que Davao était sur une île avec toutes les difficultés de recherche de fournisseurs et délais de livraison.

今回、初めてダバオに行ったのですが、マルコポーロダバオに決めたのは、NHKが見れると言うことで、決めました。12月31日から1月1日の、一泊でした。NHKの紅白も見られたし、満足しましたが、ダバオは花火がダメらしく、マニラに比べると、静かな、ニューイヤーでした。ホテル代も安いし、朝食もおいしかったです。また、ダバオに行く時は、利用しようと思います。

다른 여러 나라 도시를 방문하고 비교해보면 부족함이 있는 호텔이지만 다바오 안에서 선택이라면 최고의 호텔임이 분명..또한 다양한 조식이 있어 조금 더 좋은 룸의 호텔이 생기더라도 조식에대한 충분한 메리트가 있는거 같습니다.

全体的に可もなく不可もない。 設備は少しだが古さを感じさせる。 安全面では問題ないが、周辺環境が良いとは言えない。 ダバオなのでマニラのような危険は少ないが他のホテル選択の方が滞在を楽しめるだろう。 また他のホテルゲストがお金持ちが多いせいか全体的にホテルサービスの金額が高め。 インターネットも無料では無い。

We alway stay at this hotel when visiting Davao. Cose to all main shopping centers, and the staff are always very helpful to store our items in cold storage og freezer. Also, they have the best breakfast buffe we have experienced in the Philippines. Well worth the price, and we will continue to use MarcoPolo everytime we're in Davao.
