very nice hotel and staff

Welcomeinns in Boucherville was very clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice bonus. The only issue I had with this hotel was the continental breakfast. It wasn't the best I've ever had. It lacked in choices. They did have a lot of bread but I was looking for more fruit. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

We liked the room very much, everything was nice, the tv was not flatscreen, but it was ok, and the towel were very thin, apart from that it was very nice.

close to costco and ikea pool and hot tub were clean front desk people spoke english readily and were very helpful we would stay there again

We stayed at this hotel because it had free parking and was one of the only ones available at short notice. It's overpriced because it is a fairly basic hotel. It's a bit far from downtown Montreal, even with driving. Lots of restaurants nearby (most are overpriced). Good wifi. Plenty of parking. Nice front desk staff. Decent room with table, chairs and desk. Would it kill Canadian hotels to include a microwave?

My family and I were very satisfied with Welcomminn. It was terrifically located close to the underground tunnel to Montreal as well as the bridges to downtown and beyond. It is also close to restaurants, several shopping malls, and a neighborhood park. Some drawbacks... almost daily no mild at breakfast for children, the fitness room was closed for almost the entire week and a half we stayed there, there are no microwaves in the rooms -- only near the lobby desk, the pool is not heated (freezing cool) and the jacuzzi (spa) was shut down the last half of our stay. If solitude is an issue understand that this is a very popular stay for sports teams that travel to Montreal to compete in various tournaments. Over our two weekends we were subjected to loud yelling, running, and otherwise youthful behavior at a late hour --- ofter 12 midnight to 12:30 am. But, having said all that I would stay there again.

Stayed here for a weekend trip to Montreal. Located about 15-30 mins from downtown Montreal; great place to stay if you have a car as they have free parking. Didn't see any signs of damaged cars as property theft is common in Montreal, but then again most guests were smart and left nothing in their cars to tempt thieves. Staff was polite and friendly. Rooms were as pictured, clean, and comfortable. Pools and jacuzzi looked well maintained and continental breakfast was great. We have no complaints whatsoever. Did not really venture out into the surrounding neighborhood, but if we go to Montreal again we'll definitely stay here.

The receptionist was reluctant to accept that the room was prepaid at hotels.com and wanted us to pay again.

I was traveling with my three children, ages 5, 7 and 10. We stayed just one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures on the web site. It was bright and clean. The shower and bathtub looked brand-new. When we checked in, we headed to our room to change and then went right to the swimming pool. Here is the only negative part of our stay. The pool was pretty cold. My two youngest didn't venture in past the first step. My ten-year-old and I did swim, but I only got used to the pool after repeated sessions in the dry sauna, and my daughter soon fled the pool to go sit in the hot spa with her younger siblings. We ordered supper in from a local Coq du Roi and ordered a movie (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1) to finish off our night. Next morning, we went down to breakfast, which was a very nice little buffet. Good food, good presentation. When we checked out the staff was very helpful. I asked if they knew of a rooftop revolving restaurant in Montreal and they were able to tell me where it was. (We ended up having supper there before leaving the city.) All-in-all, I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel at a decent price room: was very clean and everything was working fine. wireless internet connection was very quick and reliable. bed was not the most comfortable and the sheets are very heavy for some reason, we could live with this as they were clean and NO bed bugs. smokers: request a room on the 1st floor as you will get your own direct access outside since this is a smoke free hotel pool : a little cold for my liking but the kids wouldnt leave until 11pm every night , best time to use pool is in the mornings and you get the whole place to yourself. sauna : surprisingly gets very hot.... felt so nice after hours of sightseeing every day hottub : not hot enough but still felt good location : right next to autoroute 20 and thats gets you anywhere in montreal within 10-20 minutes , longeuil metro is 10 minutes away where paring is only $7 . tim hortons is 2 minutes away, many others are within 5 minute drive staff at hotel was very courteous even when my 3 kids got a bit loud at 11:30pm , chambermaid even left us extra towels when she seen a souvenir photo of us with the kids. i will definatly book this hotel again on our next trip to montreal

We had an issue with the air conditioning as it was not able to really get teh room cool enough but other than that everything was great.

AFFORDABLE & COMFORTABLE

The hotel is easy to ge to off the highway. The people were friendly. Fluent in both english and french.

The hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. Spoke English and French. The hotel is in a suburb of Montreal but right off the highway - only 20 minutes from downtown. The room was fairly large and well laid out. The beds were comfortable. The pool was OK, but the hot tub was too hot. Complimentary continental breakfast was provided. Overall, good value for money.

very good service ,clean place and confortable Not to far of montreal and evrything you need arroud the hotel.

The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. This was my second stay in the hotel and, unlike the first time, the room was not well cleaned - hair in the bathroom left over from a previous customer - and the whirlpool was drained and unavailable for use. The exercise room is sparse with only one treadmill and one stationary bicycle. The continental breakfast has no hot food besides toast. However, overall the hotel is a good value and I will try it again.

Couldnt find a better Canadian hotel close to Montréal with all its great bilingual staff andd breakfasts.

Il ne manque que le servir WI-FI dans les chambres. J'ai personnellement apprécié le petit déjeuner continental du matin. Un peu déçu de la salle de conditionnement physique toutefois...(petite, 2 appareils) Lorsque nous sommes en affaire et avons besoin de se dégourdir, rien de mieux qu'une salle de gym mais hélas, semble pas la mode dans le coin de Boucherville....

Je vais souvent au Welcomins et j'ai toujours étais très satifaite .Le confort des matelas et des oreillers est très bien .Ça toujours était propre.Je le recommande et le prix est très abordable.
