COASTAL INN SACKVILLE - ساكفيل

Not that there's much competition, but this is a good place to hang your hat for a couple of days. Basic breakfast, but very close to Tim's etc. (including the LC!)

We have been staying at the Coastal Inn for more than 6 years and it had always been a comfortable, affordable choice. This time, however, it was disappointing. Our "queen-sized" bed was barely a double. The lights over the bed were impossible to reach from the bed and impossible for one reader to use without bothering the non-reading partner. The cable system was difficult to decipher and limited and the coffee was terrible. Way too expensive for all these problems. Would actual reading lamps on the bedside tables be too much to expect?

Bed very uncomfortable,need to invest in some King-size beds with better quality mattresses.

Very good, fully met our expectations. I'll look for these guys again.

Reasonably good hotel. Well priced and situated for touring Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. Disappointed that no fridge or microwave oven in the room.

Very convenient to the major highway between NS and NB. Unit very plain; could use some decor. One fault: our unit on the ground floor could hear flushed toilets and showers running in units above us. Would recommend dinner at nearby Marshland Inn.

Our stay was Great. Hotel staff were very friendly. Nice sized "serve yourself" breakfast area. Very Home Like setting. Well kept grounds and ample parking. Close to Highway and all amenities.

We were initially pleased with the hotel. When we got up to no hot water we were not impressed but thought - it was probably an issue that they could not help. When we explained the situation to the man at the desk, he just acted surprised - no apology offered - no concern to him. We were NOT impressed with the attitude. We will be in the Sackville area frequently - and unless other spots in the area are booked - we will probably avoid this hotel - attitude counts!! We paid for a room expecting a comfortable bed and hot water for a shower - the bed was comfortable - the shower was not - in fact - we were unable to really shower properly - it was just too cold! We were not camping! A simple recognition that this was an issue concerning the comfort of our stay - which he did ask about - was all that was necessary. Why bother asking the question if there is no intent to address an issue. Interstingly enough - we heard others offered a card for a review - we weren't. We chuckled at that! So glad to receive this email so we can express how we feel. Thank you..

Would definitly stay again. All was great with no complaints

We stayed four nights in Sackville N.B. ,the hotel was a great place to stay,all renovated staff very friendly,will stay there again when we are that way

I was a little dismayed that I had forgot to mention that I shouldn't carry my luggage up stairs so preferred a room on the ground floor because of a bad back but my comment met with deaf ears as I struggled into the door and up the stairs and down again the next morning with no offer of assistance. I was not told about where to get breakfast or that it was included. It was the first two night of a full week of hotels as I was on a business tour.... Enjoyed my stay otherwise, coffee and breakfast choices good once I found the area to go. The telephone in my room did not have any indicator as to what number to call for assistance and the clock radio was turned down and I could not set the alarm.
