Very good location, only about a 10 minute walk from Hollywood Boulevard. You do have to cross a large road though, but there is a pedestrian crossing.The rooms are typical of a motel which this essentially is, i.e. the doors open into the outside rather than a corridor. The room & bathroom are basic but fine. The parking is not free. It is fifteen d ollars per day. I complained about this and they said that the informaiton about free parking on the hotels.com web-site is incorrect and has been for some time. The parking itself is fine and there is enough space.

Very enjoyable, great service would highly recommend.The cafe on the premises was excellent, good food, service and prices - lovely people.

The hotel was fine for the price but Hollywood isnt a pleasant place to stay in LA. Would definately recommend somewhere closer to Beverly Hills. Hotel can also be a bit noisy when people are hanging outside of their rooms smoking.

It's not the Sandal's Resort but it's a place to sleep. We didn't go to Hollywood to stay in a hotel but did want to be able to sleep well. It's an older hotel but it was adequate. It's close to the Walk of Fame, tour busses, Starbucks. It's quiet. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were large. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and I would stay with my family.

We stayed Oscar weekend and enjoyed being able to walk to Hollywood and Highland. Room was very nice and clean. Only complaint would be noise at night.

Great Rates, convenient.

Your ad says that Best Western Plaza Hotel is .2 milles from Hollywood Blvd. It is probably more like .6 miles. I am disabled and was not pleased about walking that far. The pool was shut down also and we had to pay $10.00 per night for parking.

centrally located. great price for what you get rooms are freat and comfy. and CLEAN compared to other hotels in this price range this one is one of the best deals to my opinion i know i will stay here again

I had two rooms and had no phone service in either room and when asked to please move me into another room. I was told no since I had used the bathroom in one of the place already. I lost so much that night and am really kind of shocked how I was brushed off so easily

Clean but pool and spa is under maintenance which I was very annoyed at! They also tried to charge for parking but I said no because hotels.com said free parking and they agreed no charge! Cheap clean nothing amazing!!

Good location - easy walking distance to hollywood boulevard. We would definitely stay again. The hotel room was more than what we expected. The beds were super comfy, super clean and very nice. The outside certainly doesn't match the inside. The cafe downstairs was also good to have a quick bite to eat before heading out. Would recommend a car to get around town in.

I found the hotel to be within walking distance to Hollywood Blvd which was great but l found the overall hotel dull and in need of a overhaul. The basics were all there within the room but the overall comfort wasn't. The housekeeping was poor and not cleaned thoroughly. The receptionist was unfriendly and uncooperative at times. I would only recommend it for the location and nothing else.

older and smaller rooms...for the price paid was OK. Walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, Free carpark was great. hotek restaurant had a good selction on menu & reasonably priced.

Well located and just a short (5-10min) walk from the sights on Hollywood Blvd. Fairly standard Motel but has a nicely heated pool and spa which was enjoyed by us and our kids. Our room was towards the back and therefore quiet, but rooms overlooking the main road could be noisy. There is a cafe on site serving food but but the rooms have a small fridge and microwave so we self-catered. Front desk granted us a check-out extension to 1pm for no charge. Free hotel computer in the reception area with internet and printer.

It was just me and my 10-year old daughter travelling so safety was a must for me and all the staff were lovely and helped us every step of the way - their local knowledge (and not so local too) was amazing. The rooms are very clean (with a lovely smell when you entered) and it has one of the best shower pressures that I've ever experienced. The location couldn't have been better to the Kodak Theatre etc. As it's built motel style, there was a bit of traffic noise, but nothing too bad and I'm a light sleeper. There's no breakfast included but the on premises cafe, "Spice" couldn't have been more lovely with great food. Would definietly stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

I was in Anaheim on New Years day and planning to go to Universal the next morning but don't want to drive too far, so I went to hotel.com and booked a room at Best Western about 2 exit to Universal Studio. The only thing I concern is Hotel.com told me it's free parking and when I checked in, the guy at the counter charge me for parking even though I told him that hotel.com said it's free parking.He said that don't believe for those internet deal. Good luck to you guys and better checked your deal with those hotels if you are telling to your client that it's free parking, it should be FREE.

The interior was way better than the exterior. From the outside appearance of the building you would bet you got ripped off, but inside the rooms are clean and comfortable. In conclusion: if u are looking for a luxurious hotel don't go there. In contrast, it is a good hotel for a one night stay in the Hollywood area.

If you have a car and can drive, look elsewhere.

I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the rooms...the exterior left a bit to be questioned. The bed was comfortable. The only problem we incurred was the main elevator, my husband got stuck in it but luckily it was on the floor we were on the door just wouldnt open. They called for a repairman and it was okay the next morning

walking distance to Hollywood Blv... so don't have to look for car park but a healthy 7 mins walk.. Veyr near driving to Universal City, which is 2.1 miles away. Was not happy as I booked the hotel way before for non smoking room but ended up with a smoking room. Surrounding there are few hotels.. and prob will stay there instead of here! But free car park though!!

The hotel was easy to find, the staff were incredibly nice, and it's so close to Hollywood and Highland. The beds weren't absolutely fabulous, nor were they uncomfortable. The shower was fabulous though. My room even had a microwave, which was great.

The beds are rock hard and the Phone and Internet service are weak but other then that it was fine. Good location fridge and microwave in the room is nice

The hotel is 5minutes walk from walk of fame, Chinese theater, Madame tussauds and all. There is a starbucks right across the street if u need a coffee. Try to avoid 3rd floor if u need Internet. Reception is bad. If u are in 3rd floor, use wired Internet. Ask frontdesk for cable.

We (myself and 20 yr old twin children!) only stayed the one night here but found the reception staff very helpful, the hotel clean and conveniently located - a 5 minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard, and the beds comfortable. We had an "interior" room and were not disturbed by any traffic noise. My kids went onto Anaheim the next day....shuttle available but given this will stop at many hotels along the way, they opted for a "private vehicle" at a slightly cheaper rate with no other hotel pick up stops. This turned out to be a black Hummer!! I would be recommending this hotel and would not hesitate staying there again if wanting to be based in the Hollywood area.

Spent 2 nights here and was happy with the location, cleanliness and onsite restaraunt. Easy walk to Hollywood Blvd. We came back after dark one night and felt safe walking with 2 adults and a child. The onsite restaraunt had a variety of food. We only had breakfast, but was very good and the staff there was really friendly and accomodating. For the amount of time we spent in our room it was plenty big for the 3 of us. I would stay here again.

First the good: 1) The location is great. It is a 5 minute walk to the heart of Hollywood Blvd and about a 3 mile drive to Universal Studios. What's nice about the drive is you do not even need to get on the 101 freeway. Turn left, if you can (see the bad), and stay on Highland/Cahluenga until you come to Universal Studios Drive. 2) The room was clean. 3) The staff was helpful. 4) Parking was FREE! Now the bad: 1) the hot tub did not work. This was very disappointing as my wife and I always look forward to a hot tub soak. 2) The traffic. Although the hotel is conveniently located it is on a very busy street. To turn left to go to Universal Studios we actually had to turn right and work our way around to head the opposite direction. In addition, we had a room facing the street and there was a constant traffic humm. Literally. But I really didn't mind it. I live on a quiet street so the traffic gives me a big city vibe. 3) Parking was so-so. There are not a lot of spaces, but we had a spot each night. There are some tight spots, so if you have a pick-up truck it could be hairy. None of the bad stated above would prevent us from returning. The location far outweighs the negatives especially if you are attending an event at Universal Studios, Kodak Theater, or the Hollywood Bowl. The latter 2 being of walking distance. Now only if that hot tub would have worked...

It is just few steps from Hollywood walk of fame and kodak theater. Great staff and nice place to have breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the city tour they recommended me.

The hotel served as an adequate place to stay for the night at a reasonable rate in Hollywood. The hot tub was not very hot - and closed at 9:00 PM. Should be 105 degrees - not under 90.

Pretty good for the price. In a low coverage zone for AT&T. Restaurant not bad.

The rooms were very clean and updated. The room service was great and the hotel employees were great too. The rooms are small but for the price and location everything was perfect!

Found bed bugs... so if you are looking at staying here, think twice!

Myself, son and husband stayed here for 2 nts for a quick trip to LA. Its in an excellent location and really good value for money. We have no complaints, the staff were very helpful and the rooms had good facilities.

Poor service. The first room I was given was occupied already, then the second I couldn't get in despite going to reception 3 times to get the key card reactivated. Rude staff who greet guests with a 'yes?' instead of a 'good morning'

Room is not worth it for what you paid. Dirty and unpleasant room.Cable TV sucked and very poor internet connection.

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It was located perfect walking distance, less than half a mile & was extremely convenient to walk to & from our concert. The only thing is arriving at the hotel from the 101 was a challenge as there was a ton of traffic on this very busy road. But that's what you get anywhere in LA for a location like this! The room was clean & the staff was friendly, we would definitely stay here again although probably only if attending an event at the Hollywood Bowl simply because of the traffic in this area. If you are a tourist coming to see Hollywood for the first time, however, this hotel would also be ideal for you as it is very close to a lot of historic sites in the area!

The reason to stay here is it's location. Close enough to walk to Hollywood Blvd or the Hollywood Bowl. I've been to better Best Westerns and the service at this one was sub-par. However the room was clean and everything worked. The air conditioners are noisy, and parking is a hassle, in their lot they had trouble finding me a space.

Made reservation same day everything was perfect and within walking distance to everything Hard Rock Cafe, Wax Museum, shopping I would recommend this to anyone

Free parking appreciated, spa was great in evening before last run on Holywood blvd. Didn't charge me for roll away. Location perfect, by Walk of Fame and by the highway just up the street. The free parking made this hotel cheaper per night than others nearby. Parking a little tight but the car didn't get digned or anything. All rooms are on either 2nd or third floor, and Parking is below the balconies. So you can usually park where you can see your car from your door. We were usually alone in the pool so not a ton of kids at this hotel.
