This hotel is a has been....old and tired. By NO means should it have the rating it has. Our room was not clean or fresh in any way.

Having never stayed in Tel Aviv before I was not fully aware of different accommodations that were available. I booked this hotel based on the photos and the fact it is supposedly a '4 star hotel'. From the moment I arrived I felt let down. The service ranged from indifferent to appaulling. The pool area was closed and even when my room was serviced it was left in a state. So much so that I often ended up cleaning it myself. When I eventually demanded to leave the hotel the inept trainee staff were still unable to process a smooth check-out. Demanded to move up the road to the Hilton Tel-Aviv. You really do get what you pay for!

Stayed here for four nights on a business trip to Tel Aviv. This was a nice hotel, but not up to the quality standards for a four-star accommodation in other countries. Breakfast wasn't included in my room rate and I didn't want to pay $25, so I can't comment on the breakfast. The good: 1. Location 2. Price 3. Comfy bed and nice furniture The bad: 1. Service wasn't very courteous or helpful. 2. Maintenance and upkeep were a little rough around the edges. When I arrived, as the only guest in the lobby, the clerks were looking at each other like they wanted to flip a coin to decide who would help me. When I returned to the lobby a bit later to report that the wi-fi wasn't working in the room, the clerk told me she'd known about this problem for a couple of days, and that I should mention it to the manager the next morning. (The wi-fi finally returned to service the third day of my stay.) The staff were helpful when I had a computer question, and in giving me an extra 1/2 hour to assemble my belongings and check out of my room. The hotel looks like the owners spent a lot of money on lighting, furniture and fixtures. But there were obvious stains on the carpet in the hallway, scuffs on the walls in my room, and pieces of the bathroom ceiling that didn't fit together right. The shower looked expensive, but the temperature control required turning in opposite directions for hot water depending on whether one was using the shower or the tub. The shower also only had a half glass wall on it, soaking the rest of the bathroom every time. Then there was my friend the dirty bathroom vent. I call it my friend because it kept me company -- providing me with conversation from someone else's room, the loud sound of raindrops hitting the roof, and plenty of second-hand cigarette smoke smell -- throughout my stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because of the location and the price, but don't assume 4-star means luxury.

After looking at several different beachfront hotels, this hotel seemed the most reasonably priced, and I was mostly happy with our stay except for the following-- The main thing I did not like was the sliding glass door to the bathroom. What were they thinking? It compromised privacy, and if someone got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night the light woke up the other person. Annoying. The hotel cost did not include breakfast, which local friends told us was pretty unusual. Fortunately there were alternatives close by, though eating in the hotel would have been more convenient and saved time. Finally, the maid service was not as meticulous as other places we stayed on the same trip. Based on the convenient location, I would recommend the hotel, though making sure to mention the caveats above.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The view of the Sea from the hotel was beautiful, it was a quick walk to the beach. The ceiling to floor windows overlooking the water provided great ambiance.

When we arrived at the hotel at 3:15 in the afternoon, our room was not ready. When we finally checked in 45 minutes later, we discovered there was only one queen size bed for 4 people so we asked for 2 more single beds. The air conditioning in the adjacent room to the bedroom (suite) was not working optimally since the lock to the door leading to the balcony was broken and the door remained ajar. After requesting about 4-5 times for the lock to be fixed, it was finally fixed and the air conditioning finally started working. The staff was very nice after I got angry and requested the lock to be fixed. The location of the hotel was good. I was able to rent bicycles and biked along the beach. I wasn't happy that breakfast was not included in the plan and it was quite expensive so we bought food to keep in our hotel room and ate breakfast in the room since we did have a refrigerator.

Great location and great room - got exactly what the booking promised. Best hotel gym I've seen (although I understand the gym is perhaps not owned by the hotel). Front desk staff are a little clueless - had never heard of the Convention Center so couldn't tell me how to get there. Considering the hotel is in a prime location and destination for foreign tourists and business travelers, it is very uncompromising in terms of English-language alternatives (the international language of both business and tourism, surely?): No English-language newspapers in the lobby or offered to guests (c'mon - can it be so hard?); the coffee shop in the gym not only has no signs in English, but the staff also can't speak English - possibly the only eating place in the Tel Aviv beachfront area where that is the case. So the bottom line is, excellent experience, but please understand who your customers are.

This is not our first time here....we love the location, and we love the rooms with the kitchenette, living room, and unbelievable balcony with spectacular ocean views.

Location is great. Hotel Staff is nice and very friendly. Hotel facilities, including room (furniture) is somewhat old and in need of renovation. Lobby bar is great, and the bar service was consistently good.

Great stay, amazing times, great service ! The beds are so confy one can have trouble to wake up :) Renaud and Joanna

great hotel... decent rooms, great location, free wifi and good price... BUT no ability to retrieve phone messages our entire stay... very irritating

doesnt offer the luxury and amenities like one would expect from the price. However, staff and service were outstanding. If you like luxury, this is not for you. However great location on the beach, nice restaurants/bars nearby

I chose this hotel for a quick three day stay in Tel Aviv (which I used to live in). The main reasons being location, Free Gym and Wi Fi. Location is good, the Gym is Holmes place which is very good and the Wi Fi worked well. These are the good parts. Upon reception the staff seemed less than interested and felt like this is the last thing they want to be doing. Room is small and uninspiring, lobby was outdated, and same goes for elevators and corridors. Mornings were VERY loud and I kept hearing the cleaning stuff yelling at each other outside all morning. The lobby was being renovated and was VERY loud the whole time which affected the rooms as well. Room service was not great and for some reason was “closed” at 22:45 although was supposed to be day menu until 23:00 and than a night menu, odd.... Breakfast is rather expensive; I would recommend the “Mezada” 24hr coffee shop next door. All together, I didn’t particularly like this hotel. And probably wouldn’t stay there again. Next time higher price levels and the Intercontinental or Sheraton.

We stayed at the Park Plaza for 1 night Feb. 1/11. The elevator bell rang all night as people were getting on and off the elevator. My son woke up asking what all the noise was about. We could not sleep the whole night. In the morning construction in the lobby was so noisy we couldn't even rest. Breakfast was excellent if that's what matters.

Great location just across from the beach and right on the main street in Tel Aviv. The room was a bit smaller than I expected, as I have stayed in other middle eastern hotels further east. I had a great side view of the beach from my room. The hotel has a great but small bar area to sit and relax, with a great frontal view of the beach.

Lovely experience with pleasant and helpful staff. Large, clean room with plush robes, towels, and toiletries. Safe in-room, flat screen TV, Abundant and tasty breakfast. Bikes to use for ride on Tayelet. Overall, excellent choice.

Great location, great rooms though ask if you can have one over looking the beach. Reception are not the most helpful but other staff were very nice. Great area to chill out in, nice pool and lounge.

Very comfortable, very convenient location, vert economical

We spent 5 nights at the Park Plaza Orchid in Tel Aviv. It's in a great location, just across the street from the Mediterranean, next door to the American Embassy, and near some very nice restaurants. We had a standard room, small but serviceable. However, there were only 3 small drawers in which to put your clothing -- they need more storage space. They tout their free in-room wifi, but don't rely on it. While we were usually able to connect sufficiently to grab email, it was nearly impossible to access any website. It wasn't just slow, the connections were non-existent. The morning buffet breakfast was adequate, but way overpriced at US$20. You can get much better breakfasts at nearby restaurants, especially at Mike's Place, a kind-of Irish restaurant and bar in the same block (one of the few places in Tel Aviv to serve actual bacon!). Service isn't the Orchid's strong point -- they lost 3 pieces of our luggage, but finally located them again -- but as a base of operations, it's a pretty good choice. The supply free bicycles to their guests on request!

I'd compare my stay at the Paek Plaza Orchid in Tel Aviv to a precious Chinese vase with a crack in it.Everything exceeded expectations, including the constant noise coming from the corridor (the process to cleaning other rooms and the corridor itself seems to be never-ending). Still, the positive impressions by far outweigh this isolated remark. I recommend this hotel to other guests.

this is an excellent place. highly recommend it. be patient with the parking system which is terrible but so is parking in new york city or miami beach, florida.

This was our third visit to Tel Aviv to the same hotel. We got the junior suite and were surprised to see that we had a very large balcony straight in front of the ocean. The hotel staff is nice. Food is reasonable. The location is the best. The only down side is to make sure you get out of your room before noon on Saturdays, otherwise your room will not be cleaned.

Nice location near the beach and close to business an shoppin areas. Great free internet and long distance service in the lobby.

Hotellet har to deler hvorav den gamle delen har elendig standard men til full pris. Den nye delen er ok men svømmebassenget er tomt for vann og det er shabby bygninger rundt. Gode senger. X

В целом отель неплохой. Состоит из двух зданий. Судя по всему я жила в старой части отеля, т.к. периодически велись ремонтные работы и внутреннее состояние номера уже говорит о непервой свежести. Есть кондиционер, хоть и очень шумный. Обслуживание персонала среднее. Полотенце могли либо не менять, либо забывали принести новые, забрав старые. В номере холодильник-бар, из него можно только взять, но не положить. Мне необходимо было хранить лекарства в холодильнике и администрация отеля предоставила мне дополнительный холодильник бесплатно, за что огромная благодарность. И все-таки, это отель на твёрдые 3 звезды, а не на 4 как заявлено.

Das Isrotel Tower Hotel Tel Aviv liegtin unmittelbarer Strandnähe Die Zimmer im oberen Stockwerken haben 2 Räume sind sehr sauber, sehr freundlicher Service. Frühstück sehr gute Qualität, kleiner als in den grossen Hotels aber Quntität ist nicht mit Qualität zu vergleichen also top. nachteil Wirles Lan kostet und wenn man mehr als ein device nutzt kostet es doppelt das ist nicht mehr Standart!! aber für Individualisten ist de diskrete Umgang sehr angenehm Gesamturteil absolut empfehlenswert

Chambre très propre, confortable et avec une grande vue sur la mer. Assez cher, mais vaut son prix.

Sur le front de mer, mais avec vue principalement sur un bâtiment en ruine! Prêt de vélos rouillés mais agréables pour parcourir les km d' esplanade. Chambre étroite mais lit très confortable. Prix du petit déjeuner exorbitant donc avons pris un café filtre (sabbath la machine a expresso ne fonctionne pas) sur la terrasse au soleil. Personnel multilingue agréable. 4 étoiles contestables aux normes européennes !

El check-in fué bien pero en seguida surgió un problema grave: La ventana no cerraba bien y el ruido de la calle me impedía dormir. La única solución fué cambiar la habitación a una inferior para esa noche, pero para entonces ya eran las 2 de la madrugada. Por la mañana sí que respondieron bien ofreciéndome el desayuno gratis y pasar a una suite. El resto de la estancia muy bien.

Internet dans toutes les chambres et gratuit. Téléphone gratuit y compris communications à l'étranger. Parking à 20 mètres de l'hôtel. Staff très professionnel.

Zur Zeit wird die Lobby umgebaut. Dadurch öfter mal "Feueralarm", auf den im Hotel schon niemand mehr reagiert. Umbau soll bis Mitte Januar dauern

Hotel tres bien situe . rapport qualite prix parfait petit dejeuner excellent chambre propre , lit tres confortable , superficie petite , pas de balcon

Leider hielt diese Hotel nicht, was es versprach. Wir hatten es wegen der Lage und des Pools gewählt und die Lage war spitze, mit schöner Aussicht auf den Beach von der windgeschützten Hotelterrasse aus, allerdings konnten wir den (winzigen) Pool nicht benutzen, weil er "Out of Order" war und man einfach schmutzige Platten und Möbel hineingeworfen hatte. Für 3 Personen war das Zimmer mit Beistellbett definitiv zu klein & es gab keinen Platz mehr für die Koffer. Die Minibar war abgesperrt??? Und das Zimmer im Seitentrakt hatte nur Fenster zur Straße, die man zudem auch nicht öffnen konnte. Das Hotel gibt sich mondän und international, aber am Sabbath gibt es keinen Milchkaffee? Trotz gebühremfreien Internets und Telefonierens waren wir enttäuscht und fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angemessen.

Bra hotell på alla sätt ,prisvärd.Trevlig personal.Lätt att hitta matställe utanför hotellet som blir mycket billigare eller man kan äta i lobbyn.Fantastiska möjligheter till promenader,cyckelturer och bada i havet.Perfekt finkornig sand på stranden och mycket barnvänligt.Roligt att gå in på stan..Goda möjligheter till utflykter.
