Firstly I disgusted that as a guest of the hotel I was supposed to pay for parking. At the majority of hotels this cost is included. Secondly the room had single beds - hardly conducive to a romantic venue.

We stayed in the Park Inn jut to put our head down overnight whilst househunting in the area, paying £40 for the night on a special offer our expectations were very low. Surprisingly, the hotel was lovely, bright, clean and the rooms were on parr with Travelodge/Premier Inn which we well over twice the price. A dodgy area but really convenient for Watford Junction and short walk to a nice part of Watford for restaurants and shops. Reception staff were particularly friendly and buffet breakfast very nice.

I've stayed here before and it was good with friendly and efficient service. This time definitely not! Booked a double and was allocated a twin, when I asked to be changed reception said I'd booked a twin and I was told I wouldn't be changed unless I could prove it! When I got proof (even then it was difficult getting them to accept it) I was allocated a room where the AC/heater didn't work and the tv remote control batteries were dead. All round poor customer service will make me think twice about returning

Very good value for money. I booked way in advance on Hotels.com, and got a truly great deal. For what I paid you couldn't argue about anything. The twin bed room was pretty small, and the twin beds were so close together, bit awkward when sharing with a mate. But all in all, pleasentlly surprised with Hotel, shame about the car park fee, had to pay £7.50 for overnight stay.

the stay was good, however the rooms have very thin walls, and the when you switch off the aircon, it makes a noise all night !!! food was good tho, and the staff very attentive.

Outstanding value for money (ok we did book months ago), the hotel was a bagain and the price included breakfast! the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was extremley clean and well maintained, the rooms were clean and spacey (you were not crammed in) The town centre was about 5 minutes walk (if you cut throught the streets) or 7 minutes walking on the main road. I would definatley stay at a Park Inn again

I had a very enjoyable stay. The reception staff Chris was very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Added bonuses were as follows; it was within walking distance from the station; walking distance to the place where the event was being held. I had a lovely english breakfast the following morning in a very clean and comfortable dining room with friendly and helpful staff. Overall a very good experience and would certainly stay here again. Thank you.

On first impressions it looked like a standard hotel but once inside it was modern and clean. The room we stayed in was on the rather small side but because we were on staying the one night and wouldn't be spending much time in the room this wasn't an issue. In the immediate area there isn't many place to eat or drink and we found ourselves have to walk a fair way for a meal (as the hotel restaurant was expensive). We woke up to realise that breakfast finished at 11 so in rushing we asked at reception if we could have a breakfast (this was at 10.45) he said yes so we went through and there was hardly anything left on the buffet which you can understand with it been so close to finishing. On check out we were then told that breakfast was £12.50 each and it would be charged to the card in which we made our reservation. Parking was. £7.50 which I believe is abit excessive for just the one night (I wasn't even there 24hours). All in all the hotel was nice but the location and the expense of staying was unsatisfactory

hotel offering good value accommodation a short distance from the railway station. Rooms small but comfortable, on site gym is a plus.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Park Inn it was comfortable, clean, and staff was kind and helpful. Couldn't find anything to fault it on. We loved it and would definitely stay here again. Keep up the great work! God bless

Bargain, 5 mins walk from Watford station for train into london. Great modern hotel with self service breakfast. Will stay here again!!

Decent hotel, very close to Watford Junction. No decent restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. Extra payments for car parking and wi-fi. For goodness sake, shouldn't wi-fi be FREE in every business hotel these days?

Tidy, clean hotel. Good selection of breakfast foods but costly and very good bar food. Very friendly helpful staff. Just a short walk to Watford station.

Upon arrival we were extremely disappointed to find that we had twin beds instead of a double. All members of my party (4 couples in 4 rooms) all had twin beds. As we had booked through hotels.com they do not guarantee a double bed so bear this in mind before booking. The rooms are very small for 2 people but clean! Wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night. Very close to Watford Junction Railway.

Excellent value. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Watford Junction and bus service to Heathrow Airport. It would be useful if the hotel had bus and train schedules available for those of us who don't use computers. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful.

Comfortable and clean, staff could be more attentive and speak better English. Would give them 8 out of 10.

Found the hotel room to be very small. Booked a twin room. The twin was a 2 single beds one inch apart from each other. TV not working in room. Door housing electrics was broken. Aircon took ages to work. However on a positive note the shower was fabulous. But I can't stress how small the room was. 10x10 or therebouts.

Despite reading negative comments in previous reviews I must speak as I find and we were very satisfied with this hotel. We arrived late on Friday night after being taken all around Watford by a "crazy" satnav.Easy parking and plenty of it. Check in was swift and easy from a very pleasant young man. The rooms at first look rather small but they were very clean and they've got everything needed including a really great shower and a nice TV with lots of channels. Checkout was even swifter with an equally friendly, helpful gentleman. All in all 100% satisfied and will use again without hesitation. Great value

Great place to stay if you want to get into London quickly on the train. Hotel was clean and had friendly staff.

Reception staff most helpful, even though I arrived earlier than normal check-in, when they knew I had another train to catch to meet my Husband in London. Room was clean and comfortable and had aircon, if you didn't want the road noise from having windows open. Not enough tea and coffee only enough for one of each per person (a little mean in my view). Price not that cheap even for advance rate (room only) ,but porabably about right for the part of the country. Just a few minutes walk from Watford Jn Rail station. Would stay there again.

Overall the hotel is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However housekeeping needs to be looked at as hand towels were not changed, dirty coffee mugs were not replaced on two occasions andy pint mugs that were used for ice remained in the room for entirety of our stay.

When we went to bed at 12 on the evening it sounded that we where sleeping on the street , could not sleep when we went down to complain we where given a other room at the back of the hotel. When we where asked how are stay was we told about the evening before and the staff member told us the next time we should ask for a room at the back. Now when staying in hotels I think we should be able to sleep with out the noise we had to deal with . Other wise we had a plesent stay and staff where help full.

After a small problem with the booking, given a twin room and not a double this was corrected by a rude man on reception. The room was ok bit on the small side but wasn't a problem was relatively clean and bathroom was spotless. All other staff after this meeting of the guy at reception was good. Brilliant location for Harry potter studio tour (less than 10 mins drive) and just round the corner from train station that goes direct to euston. Over all the location made it great for our plans

Reasonable but not quite ***

The hotel is very easily accessible from the M1. We were pleased to be able to park our car in the hotel car park very safely and used the train and tube into London, after a 5 minute stroll to Watford Junction. The staff were al leager to please and the hotel very clean and pleasant. Late night staff enabled us to enter the hotel after midnight. We felt that security was very good. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

The staff on check in were unfriendly and not welcoming at all. None of the rooms had baths only showers. The bathroom was extremely cool, to the point you could stand on the tiles you had to stand on a towel. Only one towel not one per guest. The bar was very expensive with a pint of coke being £3.50. A total of 45 minutes for our food arrive and only being 2 club sandwiches we were shocker. The sandwiches were stone cold and we left half the meal and went out for something later. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are a stag or hen party and you are going straight out into Watford.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. We used the hotel as a stopover whist attending the NFLUK game at Wembley stadium. The station is a short convenient walk away and far enough from Wembley to avoid the Big crowd to early.

It was ten days stay with my Family (wife,son and daughter) in general the Park inn Watford Hotel-London is a good place to stay in ,the quiteness,cleaness,location are all amazing and on the top of that the competant reception Employees working in the Hotel. We have experienced delayed laggage travelling from UAE via Amesterdam to London and due to the special efforts of the Hotel Receptionist Mr.Vishal we were able to get the laggage on time. It is reccommended highly to stay in this Hotel for whomever Visiting London specially far from the crowed in Summer high season.

Our stay at Park Inn was a very pleasant experience. It is located close to the Rail Station and there are frequent fast overground trains to London. The Journey takes only 15 to 20 min. The rooms are clean and comfotable and the staff were very courneoud and friendly. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Great hotel with pleasant staff and good service, the hotel is conveniently situated to both the town centre and Watford Jnc Railway Station. Rooms were good size and clean with comfortable beds. We would definately stay here again for more than one night should we decide to visit Watford again. Why not try the local restaurants ? The Italian in the centre near the pond had really good food and service.

It was a nice weekend stay. Room size was adequate for two people, clean, customer service was good. Dinner was fantastic with delivery to the room. Liked the bar and grill...nice setting. Would have been nice if I had gotten the requested queensize bed or even a full size. Did not like the two twin beds put 'together' to make a full size bed idea. I guess it would work depending on who you are travelling with. Asides from that, no complaints.

The twin beds were tiny, side by side with no space between. The room was very cramped and staff didn't seem to want to help. won't stay there again
