Novotel Amsterdam Airport - بادهويفدورب

Should have been upgraded 10 years ago to maintain 4 stars. Very worn down, strange smell all over the hotel. Service charge of 6 € extra when I checked out that never was communicated was also adding to the irritation. Rooms was spacious was the only big plus in this stay.

The hotel was nice and in a nice area the food maybe could be a bit cheaper .

If you need to fly out, it is a perfect location and nice hotel. BEWARE of taking a cab from the hotel. Only 1.5 miles from airport and cab driver started heading towards Amsterdam and charged us 25 euros! I have never seen a meter spin so fast in a cab!

Perfectly located for a stop night at the airport. All the services you expect from a higher priced hotel plus a souvenir shop for last buys. Transport is very convenient and the shuttle runs constantly so there are no long waits.

Very convenient and close to the airport but far enough to be very quiet. No shops near that I could see.They have a free shuttle bus (7am -9pm) that starts right outside the main terminal and train station. It services 3 hotels and takes about 10 - 15 min to get to the Novotel. There is a restaurant within the hotel. They have a limited choice of dishes and are medium price range. Dishes were nicely presented and very tasty. Their breakfast is way too expensive. I had breakfast at the airport. The hotel is very convenient, quiet and clean to stay overnight if you have to catch an early morning flight.

Nice neighborhood to walk in after dinner. Dinner in the hotel was convenient and the room was clean and large. Nice quiet experience. Will definitely return and recommend. Nice friendly, helpful staff.

Our stay was very pleasant and the shuttle was right at the airport when we were ready to leave. After a long overnight trip, it was very nice to have such a good breakfast!

An Excellent hotel to relax between long flights. The little extra euro was very fair for early check in. Great area for a walk and dinner. Thanks

If you're popping in and out, this is a great location near the airport. The free shuttle is handy and can get you connected to the rest of the area via the trains at the airport. I would recommend tourists stay closer to the action in central Amsterdam but if cost is an issue, this isn't too bad. Just a short ride into the city on the train from Schipol. Breakfast offering is complete but pricey.

Outstanding hotel near the airport. Great service with a four star restaurant.

There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Schiphol Airport. The staff are friendly and cooperative.The rooms are just fine for an overnight stay, before or after a long flight. We would stay there again.

the room was spacious the elevators were slow there is an extra charge for the health club which I thought was included with the reservation the breakfast buffet was great

Good for a one night stay before flying from Amsterdam. Easy to take free shuttle from Airport. I don't think I would stay there for a longer period as it's not best place to commute downtown. Clean, quiet. Free wifi. Short walking distance to nice small town with some restaurants. We went for chinese food at Sunwing - cheap prices for good food - large portions!

I picked the Amsterdam Novotel after an excellent experience in London. This one does not match. Rooms are a little run-down and in need of maintenance and updating. Service friendly though.

They could not find my hotels.com reservation and did not apologize when it was clear that this was their mistake. The receptonist told me he was not my servant ! Good location !

Free internet is great. But food need to be a lot better. Shuttle to airport also great.

Novotel is convenient, comfortable, and clean. No complaints. Opt for a la carte over the dinner buffet if you eat in the restaurant.

We were on the 5th floor and rigth acroos the hotel is a huge green farm - great view. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable with excellent indoor pool, sauna and steam...what more can one ask for. The buffet spread is excellent. The shuttle service to the airport is very punctual and comfortable. The staff is helpful. If you plan yo go to Amsterdam city, the cheapest way is to take the train - which costs about 4 Euros one way per person. For a couple it would cost about 16 Euros everyday.

The Novotel was a great airpot hotel for our final nights in Amsterdam. The room was spacious and updated. It had a nice restaurant and we enjoyed dinners and breakfast there. There is a warm therapeutic pool and sauna in the lower level - great for post sightseeing therapy. There was a shuttle bus to the airport and one could take a train/bus into Amsterdam or to one of many other sights (flower gardens) or cities.

I have stayed in many airport hotels near Schipol and this one is a future top pick. In line with NH and others for med range hotel. Great indoor pool and steam room. I really appreciate the free airport shuttle, and the front desk arranged a taxi for other trips. Friendly staff and clean.

I have stayed here many times, and it is always good. Breakfast is overprices, but show me a hotel where it is not! You will be better of buying a sandwich and espresso at the airport. All in all, it is worth the few extra euros compared to the nearby IBIS.

The Hotel is close to the Airport, a free shuttle is provided and it runs all the time. The hotel was quiet and has a 12:00 Noon check out and on Sunday a 5:00 PM check out. The hotel staff was very good and the room service food was quick and good.

Over all it was a very nice experience, the workers were nice and friendly. The only problem tthat I found was the checking bruhaha. The hotel must be able to spelt out cleraly that customers are not allow to check in before 2pm, so customers who are taking an overnight flight like myself will look else where to find other hotels who will allow customers to check in as soon as they get there.

Easy access using the shuttle. Hotel is clean, quiet A/C system, pleasant service

Very convenient access to the airport with good transportation schedule. Staff were very cordial and the hotel is well maintained. My room was very comfortable and quiet. The one drawback was the presence of other restaurants. But the food was good at the hotel.

We were just passing through Amsterdam, we were literally only there for enough time to check-in, sleep, have breakfast and go back to the airport. Oh, and go to the bar downstairs. It's near the airport, there's nothing there, it's convenient is all. The decor is all Scandanavian cool, but isn't perhaps the most practical or comfortable. But the breakfast next morning was to die for. Make sure you get it included.

Hi Generally very satisfied. Even had a good meal in the restaurant. Shuttle service also good and room very comfortable. Only complaint was the receptionist let the phone ring 40 times - counted as it was the second occurance - before answering.I have no doubt she was busy but to at least tell me she'd call back would have been helpful

This hotel needs an update, Cable TV not working, rooms need redecorating, Bathrooms mold on ceiling,carpets dirty. I asked for a non smoking room yet room smelled like smoke.

Free airport shuttle is a benefit. Not close to anything, but for a connection, the location is hard to beat. Free computer access is also a plus.

I found this hotel to be good value with a decent restaurant on site but had to wait a long time for the shuttle bus. It's not as convenient to the airport as I would have liked. The shuttle bus makes several additional hotel stops before the Novotel so it seemed to take a long time to arrive at the hotel. The room was okay for an overnight stay but is pretty bare bones.

breakfast and dinner were good. Room was clean and amply sized. Staff was responsive. It was a positive experience.

We stayed here during our last night in Europe so we would be conveniently close to the airport. Perfect location to catch our early flight the next day! Hotel provides a free shuttle to/from airport which was a plus!

The hotel is very good, the reception staff were friendly and efficient, the room I had was spacious and clean. The only downside is the shuttle bus to and from the airport, that was a bit frustrating for me as I was on a nanobreak and this felt like wasted time. In future, i'll be getting a central hotel instead, or one right at the terminal if I want an airport hotel.

I understood all charges were prepaid and we were surprised with an additional tax that we had to pay before checking out.

The hotel is close to the airport, and it has a shuttle that runs regularly to and from the airport/train station. It is a good transit hotel, but I would not recommend it for anyone wanting to go to Amsterdam more than one day. It was a perfect hotel for me.

This hotel is a good place to stay if you have an overnight connection in Amsterdam. It isn't very convenient to anything else except the airport unless you have other transportation. It was very clean, the bathroom was interesting as it had a frosted class door. That was kind of cool. Nice service, very helpful and friendly staff. Other guests were very nice as well. I will stay here again!
