The room was clean and comfy.

The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English which is very helpful since Portuguese is for me very difficult language. The breakfast was a buffet. It was very nice and I would fill up and it would keep me running all day. The staff in the dining room were very friendly and I would talk with them about where to go and what to see. I spent 2 weeks at the hotel and would highly recommend it. I liked the close metro for getting around the city. You can take the metro from the airport and get to within 2 blocks of the hotel. Get off at the Sao Sebastiao stop. Look at the metro map. You can figure it out. I got the Viva card for 0.50 Euros and put 15.00 Euros on the card for zapping use at the airport. This is probably your best bet. There is lots to see. I had a great time.

the location was ok, not too far by cab to all the sights. the hotel lobby was updated and clean. the hotel staff was very efficient and spoke english. checking in and out was quick. the room was very clean all furnishings appeared new. it was a bit difficult to get the room heated. we came from Florida and it was cold for us. the tv reception wasnt the best. we were only there for one night and thank god for that. the linens were fresh and inviting but the bed was very hard!!! great place for a short stay. lisa

the staff was helpful and friendly. Conveniently located near a metro station, restaurants and drugstores. Clean and cozy bedrooms. Definitely would stay there again.

Very enjoyable. Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast good - wide choice from fresh fruit and vegetables to hot cooked meal. Good selection of bread and cakes and beverages. Good sized bedroom and bathroom fresh toiletries supplied daily as well as fresh good sized towels when requested. Reception staff very helpful and friendly excellent standard of spoken english. One word of warning garage height is limited to smaller cars but hotel does allow for a limited number of large cars to park at front of the hotel.

Really liked this hotel. Room very comfortable. Very close to metro (blue and red line so convenient for airport). The selection of food/drinks available at breakfast was great. Great to have wi-fi in room.

This was a great hotel for me. It is in the middle things and also close enough to the airport that it is a quick and easy metro ride to the hotel. The staff were great and the hotel was clean. The food was also good.

Comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. Cooked breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice of food. Access to the airport and central Lisbon is easy from the local metro station (S Sebastiao red line for airport and blue line for centre). Helpful service at reception to find various locations and the hotel staff provided a city map.

As two college kids looking for a romantic getaway, this hotel was perfect. Hotels.com saved us way more than the current nightly rate. The hotel was conveniently located to the metro stop. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The concierge was very useful, speaking English and Portuguese as we didn't know where anything was. We got to see everything in Lisbon we wanted to. The included breakfast was delightful. My only complaints were we had to pay for wifi and there wasn't much to do in the surrounding neighborhood.

The room looks a little bit different then on pictures is smaller and I'd say not looking so good... I'd give him 3 stars max but in general good location and very friendly staff also food is good in it. If they put you on lover floors you can get some large noise from the street.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Location was ideal. 2-3 minute walk from St. Sebastiano station and a direct train to the airport + downtown. We are vegetarians and found the breakfast sufficient. The most painful part of our stay was the air-conditioning. It was horrible and the hotel staff tried to fix it by changing the thermostat from 12 to 8 Deg C, at which point I realized neither the thermostat worked nor he knew what he was doing. On the positive side, we are glad we stayed in September and not in peak summer. Finding a decent restaurant close by was a struggle after 9.00pm.

The floor of the room was carpet. and that is the only negative point of clean room.

Staff was helpful in English as I speak no Portuguese. Breakfast was good, wide variety which seemed to satisfy the many different nationalities in the hotel. Room AC was great and it cooled quickly. Rooms on back side of hotel are definitely quieter.

All staff are very helpful, make our stay is very pleasant. Food are good too.

The hotel is very well priced and the location is in a quiet neighbourhood. It is close to the Metro, although if you want a city centre location don't choose this hotel. I would query it being 4star , but the breakfast was very good.

We stayed here to be close to the airport on our last night in Lisbon. The staff was exceptionally helpful, but the hotel is rather basic.

All the staff with whom we had dealings were attentive, courteous and polite. The buffet breakfast is excellent. We had dinner a few times and that, too, was very good food. The location is very close to the Metro and El Corte Ingles but we didn't find much in the way of entertainment in the vicinity.

We had a very pleasent stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good (had everything i could wish for) room was very clean and cleaned every day, staff was friendly and service was good, the location was good (~200m from the nearest metro station). Compared to the cost this hotel was excellent, even though the cheap price can probably be explained by staying during low season. The only negative sides were the noises coming from the water pipes on the last day and not having a free wi-fi. Anyhow, these were really minor things since the noises couldn't be heard on any other days and we only had use for the wi-fi on the last day. We recommend this hotel.

Very helpful staff, good breakfast but not complimentary, close to parks and the incomparable Gulbenkian Museum and grounds.

Convenient to public transport which is very efficient. Hotel advertises double bed - in very small print (if available) - this should be clearer and BOLDER - I would not have booked if I was aware I was not going to get D/Bed - however because I made my feelings known I got transferred to D/bed room after 1 day - Hotel staff were very helpful

Good. Nice breakfast. We were told the room had recently been renovated, but it still looked a little dated. Nevertheless, it was comfortable and a short walk (less than 2 minutes) to the metro.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area. It is convenient to the centre because it is beside a metro station. I arrived early for check in but it was no problem and I got a beautiful room with a sunny balcony. Staff gave me great advice about where to eat locally, sights to see, how to get bus to airport etc.

near 2 of the main subway stations, nice new hotel, i like everything about it except internet is 1.5euro per hour (wifi)

the english speaking staff was great and helped us with our vacation questions during our stay. the hotel is in a very quiet and safe area with the metro only 2-3 blocks away and a shopping mall 3-4 blocks away. the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. there are no double beds, just twin beds that they push together for couples. they charge per hour for wifi and per day for the safe key, so be aware of that.

Very easy to travel around Lisbon as the hotel is close to the metro stop and bust stops. Loved the city - so much to see and do.

Close to Metro and city center. Excellent service and staff. Complimentary breakfast is superb. Suspect there is no hotel in Lisbon providing this service at this price. Also, the hotel has a 4-star rating in Lisbon based on my understanding.

the hotel is close to the train station and resurant. quiet area and the people are friendly. quality of food is good and affordable. i would return back to the hotel again if i was visiting lisbon.

very good hotel for its category. Excellent multilingual checkin staff,very good room,and similar for breakfast. The location ,in a quiet street away from busy thoroughfares,is generally good,about 6 min walk from a metro station,though its distance from the central business district would not suit some business travellers. Overall excellent for the price.

This was a great find, easy to get into the centre metro nearby. Reception staff so helpful with information on where to go and what to see and also the best way of getting around. Hotel clean and comfortable. Food ok too. We would recommend this hotel for a short city break and intend to return.

is a great location to stay in when visiting Lisbon. Quite near the city centre, its located very close to Metro and to bus routes. The hotel generally and particularly our room is spotlessly clean, very well maintained. The hotel Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, buffet, with great choice. We had one evening meal, also a buffet, and this too was great and very good value. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Good points: very helpful staff, located close to metro (total journey time 20 mins to main City centre), tea/coffee making facilty in room, Bad point: car park expensive.

Very good hotel, Location not bad. Underground parking very small and could be used only by experienced drivers. My daughter was stressed out having to park the car there. Hotel staff was pleasant and offered help with parking. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay there.

This is NOT a four star hotel by any means. For travelers from the US and Northern Europe the rating system in Portugal will be somewhat of a chocking experience. There are better hotels for the same money. Terrible breakfast and fairly expensive internet access. Nothing for the business traveler. Weird color schemes and paper thin walls - you can hear every single movement in the next room.

The hotel is high quality with nice room and bathroom. The location is ok as it is in easy walking distance to a metro station but would be a 30 minute walk to downtown. The breakfast was reasonable but not great e.g. only moderate selection of fruit, cereals etc.

Excellent staff, they all were very helpfull. (I also noticed that all of them spoke at least two foreign languages) I loved the room and the breakfast was good too. The location is good, very easy to reach by metro, and close to the city center. However the night life is non-existent in this neighbourhood.

This is an excellent hotel with friendly and efficient staff, The central location is great for sightseeing. I would thoroughly recommend it. My partner and I travelled to Lisbon from the Algarve and so needed a hotel with car-parking and so we chose pretty much at random. The hotel is central though a little difficult to find as the road signs are small and hidden, otherwise everything was perfect. Reception was simple and efficient and they spoke great English. Lisbon is a beautifyl and perhaps one of the best to visit in Europe. We took a bus tour around the city and as we were tired decided to dine in at the hotel restaurant. We had a superb buffet-style meal, it was a great evening, and the best part was the price. All in all I would give the hotel and the city fiive stars, and I will definitely go back again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Olissippo Hotel in Lisbon. We liked the neighborhood and had a lovely meal in a trendy Italian Restaurant just around the corner from the Hotel. The staff in the Olissippo were all very friendly. The barman even went out of his way to find something sweet in the kitchen late at night because my husband had a sugar graving! The only little disappointment was breakfast. It wasn't very impressive.. Nevertheless it wouldn't stop me from going back as everything else was VERY good!!

Very helpful staff, very nice breakfast . Good location. We have stayed in many hotels in Lisbon, incl 5*, but this was the best!
