Continental Hotel Vicenza - فيتشنزا

Although the neighbourhood is not very inspiring (60's residential and the local football stadium across the road), it's just an easy 10 to 15 minutes walk to everything you would like to do in Vincenza and also at a walking distance from the railway station. The interior is refreshingly modern with an nice eye to detail. Service and cleaning is all just as it should be. The buffet breakfast is adequate with very drinkable coffee and the usual assortment of rolls, jam and whatever you need to get you started for the day.

This hotel is an average option for the business traveler. If you need wi-fi, get a room on a lower floor but it is still not reliable. The breakfast available is sub-par to other Italian offerings but is adequate and the coffee is great! The staff at registration is not the friendliest group of men but are willing to assist, if needed. The room are comfortable but sparsly decorated. The housekeeping staff does not abide by the "Do Not Distrub" sign so beware if trying to sleep late.

Good cheap hotel. They forgot to empty our bathroom bin before we arrived, which was a bit unpleasant, but overall a good place. A bit off the beaten track.

Very good and friendly staff. Free parking was a plus.

I found the hotel to be very clean and meet all the basic needs. The bathrooms were spotless. It's not fancy but for the price, it can't be beat. We were a group of 7 women traveling together so the availability of a variety of single bed configurations was great. The location was good and there was an amazing restaurant within walking distance. One of the rooms did have a loud neighbor and the walls were too thin but other than that, I was very pleased.

Staff were great and secure parking with CCTV was easy. Located within a nice 15min walk into the centre of Vicenza and around a 20 min walk to the train station for those who wish to go into Venice. Only Complaint would be the coffee at breakfast, it was awful, which in Italy is practically a sin.

Front counter staff were accommodating and helpful. We found the room to be clean and quiet. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold items to choose from. The location is not within the historic centre of Vicenza, but there is a bus to the train centre. We would stay there again.

Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast and good value. Opposite football stadium, so may be noisy during match days. 10-15 min walk to centre of Vicenza, a pretty small town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very satisfied. Especially good situation for short drive to Venice for ferries to Greece.

The Hotel Continental convenient for the centre of Vicenza (10 mins walk), and a short car ride, or longer walk to the main out of town historic sites e.g Villa Rotunda. A taxi is needed to and from the station. The hotel is more modern than appears on the wbsite, with well decorated facilities, with plenty of natural light from large windows. The facilities in the rooms are of a good standard, only lacking a fridge from the normal facilities. There is a good shower in the bathroom, and overall the rooms are comfortable (if a little on the small side). Reception staff are very good,friendly and helpful in dealing with requests. The breakfast is buffet style, with plentiful variety and some cooked eggs in addition to fruit, hams, cheeses cereals etc. etc. Overall this hotel represents good value and provides a good base for visiting Vicenza

The hotel itself was lovely and well decorated. They have rooms with different themes, and we were staying in the cheapest room, which was still very nice and spotlessly clean. The pressure in the shower was great - best I've had in italy. Their lobby area is a nice place to sit - plenty of sofas and they have a little bar. The breakfast was continental - quite average, and what you'd expect from this kind of place. Cereal, fresh pastries, boiled/scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, juice etc. The staff at breakfast were very friendly, as were the staff in general. We did get quite annoyed on the day before we left because we had planned to hire bikes to go exploring the countryside. I'd asked at the reception the day before to make sure it would be fine, and a woman told me that yes we could hire bikes, we just needed to come down in the morning and ask. When we did this however, we were told that the bikes were 'not ready yet'. I was really annoyed at this as they didn't say on their website that the free bike hire was only for a certain time of year, and the woman at reception had confirmed they had them. So we'd planned our whole day around this idea (and I'd partly chosen the hotel because of the free bike rental). We ended up renting bikes from somewhere else, and it cost us €24 extra. Still, this was a little mistake on their part, and it didn't affect the rest of the good service we received. The location of the hotel isn't great but isn't terrible either. If you're a football fan, it's right next to the stadium. We found it was about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Vicenza. I think that you'd pay a lot more for a hotel right in the centre. So, I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here last year while I was conducting archtiecture research and this hotel has changed a lot within a year. The lobby and the breakfast room are completely remodeled in a modern style. The rooms were already updated last year when I statyed. The rooms are very comfortable, modern, spacious and enjoyable. The rooms were spotless everyday and the bathroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast, but abudantly stocked with cereals, meats, baked goods and juices. Many hotels only offer a croissant, one type of bread, ham and one cereal, but the Continental has a wide choice of food items. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. The staff is extremely helpful and a joy to talk to (most times).

As American travellers in Italy, we were greeted warmly and assisted with our many questions. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. A really good breakfast and pleasant breakfast room. Only problem is the distance from the centre, a 15minute walk, but no problem if you have no difficulty walking.

For the rating, we were very pleased with our overall experience. The room was small but clean. We live in Stuttgart so we knew what to expect when staying in Europe. The location was good, not far from the train station which made our day trip to Venice quite enjoyable. Since we drove from Germany to Italy it was quite a plus to find out that parking at the hotel was free of charge. We arrived late at night and had no issues with check-in. The day staff was quite helpful in checking train departure times which was good to know before we left the hotel. Great stay for the price!!

great value, wonderful desk staff, welcome refreshments for each guest in entryway. we had a suite so our room was VERY large and worth the extra money. normal size rooms will be tight for 2 people more than 2 days--go bigger and be happy. great location--very near and within walking distance to city center. some in our party were reserved at other hotels and transferred to this one because of location, value, cleanliness, helpful staff, etc. Starting Jan 2010 they will remodel the lobby and rooms.

Hotel Concordia è posizionato in una zona tranquilla dove in poco tempo puoi raggiungere il centro, personale gentile ed attento ai bisogni del cliente. Non lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria. Ho trascorso una giornata piacevole in questo Hotel e lo consiglio anche perchè vicino vi è il ristorante " Il picchio d'oro" dove si mangia veramente bene. Grazie.

Siamo stati molto bene e il personale dell'albergo e' particolarmente gentile.

Sehr freundliches Personal, das hilfsbereit war und auf Extrawünsche einging. Gutes Frühstück und gepflegte und ruhige Atmosphäre. 5 Minute bis zum Altstadtkern. Gute Adresse zum Wiederkommen.

Great basic hotel with newly renovated rooms and excellent location close to the lovely historic city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff and surprisingly varied breakfast buffet for an italian hotel.

Die hotelangestellte sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die zimmer und die reception ist super modern und sauber. Das bett ist bequem und die zimmer besitzen ein eigenes klimagerät, welches man selbst regulieren kann. Das hotel ist ausserdem super gelegen - in knapp 10min zu fuss ist man im zentrum wo man ausserdem toll shoppen und spazieren kann! Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieses hotel.

Det er et OK Hotel til prisen. Hotellet bør dog dagligt tørre bordene af på den fælles terasse på 4 sal. En dejlig terasse med flot udsigt

Receptie klant onvriedelijk. Ontbijt goed, gelegen 15min. van het centrum, was niet veel te zien ,restaurants waren aangenaam en goed.

Las habitaciones geniales, grandes, iluminadas, limpias, el baño moderno y grande, el recepcionista muy amable y hablaba español. El desayuno variado y bueno, todo excelente. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Habitación amplia, mobiliario moderno, muy acogedora, lo que no se puede decir de otros hoteles en los que me alojé. Mi mejor desayuno buffet en Italia. Trato amabilísimo (y en español, gracias a Matteo). Desde estacion ferrocarril, un taxi me costó 8 euros, pero se puede usar la linea autobus 3a (2 euros billete) en la que volví. Y si no hubiera sido por la maleta hubiera hecho el trayecto andando.

Wir waren Ostern 2011 zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr ordentlich; das Hotel und die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und sehr chic gemacht. Das Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen und das Personal war wirklich hilfsbereit. Ein besonders Highlight sind die 4-Personen-Zimmer, die für Familien sehr gut geeignet sind: großzügig, sauber ... es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Sauberes, preiswertes, gut gelegenes Hotel in Vicenza, ideal für ein paar stressfreie Urlaubstage im Veneto, gut ausgestattetes Frühstückbuffet,

Easy to access with car, still close to the historic center. Friendly staff and price, nice city and room. We will return when visiting Vicenza again.

Hôtel très bien pour les déplacements professionnels (propreté, qualité du service, simplicité, facilité d'accès et de parking). Par contre, l'hôtel est sans charme, il n'est pas situé dans l'hypercentre de Vicenza et est donc peu attractif dans le cadre d'une escapade.

freundliches Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer , essentiell aber freundlich und farblich individuell gestaltet.

Vi ankom 4 voksne en varm august dag - 38 gr, - og straks var der stillet kølig velkomstdrink frem i foyeen allerede inden vi var indskrevet. Værelserne var rene og en af deltagerne, som har stor erfaring fra rengøringsselskab udbrød spontant, at det var det reneste hotelbad hun nogensinde har set. Hotellet var vor base i 6 dage, hvor vi kørte rundt i lejet bil på egnen og havde en masse gode oplevelser i Venedig, Gardasøen m.v. Der ligger en rigtig god restaurent 300 m fra hotellet, som varmt kan anbefales. Spørg i receptionen.

Un peu à l'écart du centre (15 mn à pied, et une demi-heure à pied de la gare) mais très calme et confortable. A noter, un snack-bar et une superette tout près.

Wir waren mit einer Radreisegruppe unterwegs, Hotel nur für eine Nacht gebucht, alles Betsens, gerne wieder
