we had a great stay loved the staff however what botherd me was one unclean towel and resort fee which i was not openly told about . they gave me a pamphlet and I dont think any body who just came from a tiredsome trip would read it . they should just advice you of the fee other than that it was a great hotel and i really liked it .

The quality of my staff was ok. I was was not 100% satisfied because when I check in the customer service from the front desk didn't not let us know about the extra bill that the hotel charges after you check in! The room was clean, but the sheets had holes and you can hear people clearly in your room. So, if your looking for a quiet place this is not the hotel you would want to stay in. The location is good because your in the Disney area.

This felt like a conference hotel. If you're there on business, it's a great place to stay. You get access to Downtown Disney at night -- have a nice place to sleep at night and can go to their conference center during the day. If you're travelling for fun -- there are many more better options taht are priced better and don't charge $6.95 for a liter of water (which in humid, hot Florida -- ought to be ILLEGAL!) The fees at this resort are really high ... and the other downtown Disney hotels don't charge them. I kept going over to Wyndham to get drinks and snacks (I didn't have a car) ... selection was better there, and cheaper. So -- unless you're travelling for business, recommend, passing on the Palace.

I stayed on this hotel before and the last time it was a horrible experience with the room, the air conditioner not working, but I wanted to give another try, and this time again disappointed, the room was dirty, the staff not to friendly. Never again.

The hotel is beautiful!!! This great looking and extremely comfortable hotel is just perfect to stay only minutes away from Disney parks and across the street from downtown Disney. 24 hour available pool which is an incredible point to make. The food is a bit overpriced, but this hotel is definitely worth it. Definitely returning for future vacations.

The room was not fully clean when we arrived, even though the front desk said it was. The sink was dirty and there was soap left in the soap dish. It also looked like someone had just gone to the bathroom. The maid service was knocking on our door at 8:30 in the morning even though I was checking out that day. When I let the front desk know about these things they had nothing to say. Very disappointed!!!!!!!! Expected better with all the resorts to choose from in that area.

This was our second stay here. We are always super satisfied with the hotel and the staff.

Great location but we probably wouldn't choose to stay there again. The room was fine but the resort in general is Old.

We just got back from a 1 night stay (04/28/2012) at The Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa. Since we are Florida residents and frequent visitors to Disney we have stayed at many different hotels/condos. This is the nicest hotel in the Disney/Orlando area that we have ever stayed at. Based on previous reviews we felt pretty confident booking our reservation and definitely were not disappointed when we checked in. Everything was just perfect from the vallet attendants, the amenities to our room. We will definitely book future stays at this hotel.

Read the pricing well! There is a $20 per day resort fee. Pool is not complimentary,,wifi not complimentary, shuttle bus not complimentary.

Loved the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful and even found a room for me since I arrived a day ahead of schedule. In fact they upgraded me to a suite. On a side note, I know this sounds silly but this is the first place that I've stayed at that doesn't provide shower caps. The only thing they need to really work on is their housekeeping staff. I think they need more customer service training. So this is what happened, I heard a knock on my door and answered it and there stood a lady just staring at me not saying a word. Now it was easy to surmise that she was housekeeping but when I asked her if she was needing something she still said nothing. Maybe she didn't speak English either way it was just weird, the blank stare and all. In the grand scheme of things though this was a minor hickup to my entire stay.

What a fantastic place! We were staying at another location, it turned out to be a dump.. Jumped online after the 1st night and booked this Hotel. We will never stay anywhere else this Hotel had everything we wanted and what a nice place.. It is well worth the money. It is across from Disney Mart where we ended up most nights and you can walk there, which was a bonus. I highly recommend this Hotel and like I said, we will stay at this Hotel every time we go Orlando.

I was impressed with the hotel as I drove up. Once checked in, the room was great with a nice water view and a cozy small balconey. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend not only the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa but also using Hotels.com.

The overall stay was a sad event for our family. It was annoying to have air fans blowing throughout the 5th floor in an attempt to dry out a plumbing issue. The whole level smelled of must no matter how much air fresheners the hotel staff sprayed/poured around. It was also a pain in the bottom to escort two children through the middle of the hallway while plumbing repair was attempted over our two night stay. The hotel staff was very friendly with the children. All kid oriented activities did really entertain my two.

It was very nice. A little smaller than I expected. Was only disappointed by the fact it was my birthday and anniversary and stated this when I made my reservation and the hotel did nothing to acknowledge that. Overall, lovely experience.

While the beds are fantastic, the rooms and hotel are very worn. Cleanliness is not high on the priority list, I beleive. The rugs on the stairs leading to the spa had huge stains all up and down. Our room was moderately clean. Mold on the shower curtain, tile floor was prety dirty, hair on the webtv keyboard, and our coffee pot never got cleaned the entire stay. While the location to events makes it a plus, I feel the hotel needs to be updated and cleaned.

The hotel was very nice, convenient to the parks, and clean. The buses to the parks ran very regularly which was great. Parking at Disney is $14/day, so it was nice to avoid that. My only complaints are that there is a $16.95/day resort fee added later, which is closer to$20 with tax. Also, while parking is free, it is only if you park yourself and the lot is a bit of a walk. If you valet at the entrance, it's $16/day. Our room was very nice and immaculately clean but (and I've never had this happen) the half of the bed by the phone and alarm (obviously the most used) was saggy while the other side was perfect and comfortable. You would think they would rotate the mattresses, The differences between the two sides was night and day.

The location was great. Spa was awesome. Staff wonderful. However rooms are very noisy. You can here doors slamming every time people leave there rooms and you can hear all conversations held inside room door

Food and drinks (coffee) too expensive...hotel's great.

The hotel is nice, the beds are comfy. View left something to be desired. We were charged an extra fee that wasn't clear when we set up our reservations. Any extras (such as room service) are way over-priced.

Beyond my expectations, very nice!

Generally everything was good, however I was disappointed to learn that I was required to pay a further $20 per day per room 'resort fee'. As we had 3 rooms, this added considerably to the overall cost of the accomodation - the hotel insisted that this was communicated to us at the time of the booking - no doubt in the small print T&Cs, but it was not obvious from anything we received from hotels.com nor the hotel that this would be the case. Not entirely sure that the hotel was good value for money given this extra cost, would be more inclined to book a villa for future trips!

My kids and I went for the weekend just to relax by the pool and I fell in love with it. Would definitely go again!! :)

Great location, very nice hotel. Only prob is its a real hike to the parking lot if your staying on the island.

excellent service and hospitality and next to Downtown Disney.

really had a great time with the kids ..they just loved the pool and the room.
