Ibis Brussels Centre Ste Catherine - بروكسل

Great location, 5 min walk to GrandPlace and many restaurants. Room and bathroom small/very tight - barely room in shower to wash hair, couldn't sit straight on toilet, window very close to head. Bed was comfortable. All together, we got a decent room for the price.

The hotel is basic but for the price and location it is excellent. Within easy walking distance of the main attractions i would definitely reccomend this hotel. I would also advise everyone to go to the little bar / fish stand in St Catherine square - the atmosphere is excellent and the food is amazing.

It was a nice hotel that was convenient but the hotel staff was not very friendly.

Not only were the staff friendly, nice, helpful and English speaking, but the entire experience was just perfect. I arrived at 8:00am due to my flight schedule and they let me check in!!! Overall, the hotel was immaculate and comfortable and the location was very close to everything you'd want to walk to in the city. Would recommend to anyone!

The hotel was all we needed for one night. It was small, clean and in a convenient location, not too far from the train station, close to the Christmas markets and the main square. My only concern was having pre-paid on line via Hotels.com we were almost charged again when we checked in.

Excellent hotel - Well located

Wow! What a great location, the staff was amazing, the views were awesome and honestly it could not have been better. It was really well priced and a phenomenal value for the price.

Brilliant Location! Although the hotel room wasn't as clean as I'd have liked it to be (dust around the windows, dirty bathroom walls, dust clinging and swaying on the ceiling around the extractor fan) the location is AMAZING! It is right in the middle of the Christmas market and a 5 min walk to the Grand Place and a metro. Walking distance from all the tourist sights/cafe's/restaurants/quirky shops and easy access to the metro to take those longer trips to see the Magritte Museum or the Atomium. Breakfast is not included and is an extra 14Euros, but there is a brilliant coffee shop opposite the supermarket and only a 5 min's walk away that serves breakfast for 5Euros, which includes any coffee/tea or your choice, orange juice, two pastries and an organic yoghurt. Great deal! Just ask at reception where you can find a cafe' for breakfast and hopefully they should direct you that way. Otherwise ask them how to get to the supermarket. The staff are very friendly and helpful, although the cleaning staff aren't quite as thorough. Toothpaste splatter on the mirror was never wiped clean and it took placing our bed sheets on the floor to get them to finally change them. Small quibbles that really wouldn't bother the average traveller who spends most of the holiday outdoors exploring the city! I would definitley recommend!

Perfect in everyway for me on a business trip. Cheap too. Shame about the unannounced 5 euro surcharge on arrival, but still very good value for money.

Front desk staff seemed annoyed by information requests and 3 different front desk resources denied to know how much a taxi ride to the airport late at night would cost. I nevertheless asked them to call me a taxi at 3:30 am for the airport...once inside the taxi i discovered he had a "special agreement" with the hotel with a "special" fee of 171 Euros!!! Almost double what I then discovered to be the normal fare...I thought it was way too much, but at 3:30 in the morning with a flight leaving I didn't have time to argue...that's what i call front desk mafia!

The Ibis hotel had very nice and welcoming staff. The bedroom was rather small for two people even though it was a double. The bathroom was fine, however there were not many toiletries provided. There was a general shower gel to be used as body wash and shampoo. There was no conditioner provided. I did not ask the front desk if they could provide any, but I honestly expected those things to already be in the room. The front desk did, however, supply me with tylenol upon request when I had a headache and they were quite nice. The location of the hotel was very good. There is a nearby parking garage for 20 Euros/day. The hotel does not have parking. Brussels is a very compact city and most places were with in a 20 minute walk. Breakfast was overpriced. I'd recommend going out somewhere for waffles instead. The selection at the buffet was mediocre, although the quality of items provided was good. The layout was awkward as well. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. Just skip out on breakfast as Brussels has very good food everywhere.

Good basic hotel, clean,comfortable,well positioned and quiet.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. There are a number of homeless people camped nearby and we had to check were we walked as they used the footpath as toilet and were asking for money.

As you would expect from the Ibis chain. Good location, fair price (for Brussels!) and clean comfortable rooms. Overpriced breakfast and no free wifi. In 2011 wifi should be free - surely.

A standard experience

The IBIS hotel in the center of Brusseles is located near by the must-see sits in Brusseles

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, the location is very good, good buffet breakfast, I really enjoyed it.

Hotel was fine. A bit pricy (not unexpected in Brussels). Clean. Bar was pleasant. Didn't bother with breakfast. Internet price on hotel computer was extortionate so I didn't bother. Great location - 4 stops on metro from Midi station. Grand Place just a few hundred yards away.

Great location near many of the sites and neighborhoods. Room was perfectly adequate, maybe a little on the small side, but I'm an american so the bigger the better. I would stay here again when I come back to Brussels. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Not for hotel snobs though.

I stayed for one night at this hotel before my flight the following morning. I had enough time to shop, eat dinner and come to my room to sleep. There was no surprises in this hotel. Everything was clean and in place and I had a good nights sleep before my flight the following morning to the airport. I can complain that the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the central train station or the first 2 minutes walk to central square is not clean. They have nothing to do with the hotel. If you do not know where the hotel is, it can take more than 10 minutes by walk. However, this is because we are pulling bags from and to the hotel and train station. The room itself is small and so is the bathroom. However, for what I wanted, this room delivered.

When planning our trip to Brussels, the most important issues were location of our accommodations to most of the city's major attactions including shopping and also be conveniently located by transit to the Gare du Midi station since we were going to arrive by train. We scanned the internet which today has literally hundreds of accommodation sites and chose a number of sites for further consideration. We chose IBIS Brussels Center because of location but also because we had stayed at IBIS hotels before and liked them. We found it easy to use the metro to get to the hotel from the train station. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the closest metro station, and is adjacent to the historical Ste. Catherine church. We also found that historical Brussels is much smaller than we expected as we could walk easily to all the main attractions from the hotel. Only the government center for the European Union and the Atomium, the leftover from the 1958 Worlds Fair required transit. The hotel is modest as would be expected for 3 stars but fairly new and well maintained. We did not take the breakfast option because it was an extensive buffet with corresponding price and not our type of breakfast.

La chambre et la salle de bain sont minuscules....on dirait une cabine de bateau....Propreté de la salle de bain légèrement douteuse à l'arrivée. Deux serviettes de bain pour deux personnes, il a fallu en demander deux fois, cela ne suffisait pas. Par contre, l'accueil est parfait. Dés que vous avez besoin de quelque chose , les employés sont très à l'écoute et très aimables. (nous avons demandé une indication pour aller quelque part, la jeune fille de l'accueil nous a imprimé un plan, elle a téléphoné à l'endroit en question pour avoir des infos....).

Perfekt hotell om man vill ha nära till staden och bara vill ha hotellet till att sova. Rummet kändes litet, men ytan var väl utnyttjad och det var bra standard på rum och badrum - och fräscht. Korridorerna lämnade mer att önska - men där tillbringar man å andra sidan inte någon tid. Personalen var trevlig och serviceinriktad. Sen incheckning var inte några problem. Närmaste kvarteret var inte så trevligt, men två-tre kvarter bort var man i centrum! Prisvärt!

Har bott här tidigare, och kommer att bo där igen. Hotellet är enkelt men rent och fräscht, med ett centralt och bra läge. Rummen ganska små, men rena och fräscha. Sängarna är bra.

ホテルそのものは日本のビジネスホテル並み。ただ、朝食ビュッフェは、内容に比べてかなり高めだと思いました。素泊まりなら納得できる値段でした。メトロに近く大変便利ですが、近隣には浮浪者がたむろしている場所があり、もう一度泊まりたいかというと、かなり微妙です。

Nicht luxuriös, aber für Dreisternhotel gut ausgestattet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vielleicht wegen später Buchung etwas verzerrt. Zimmer nicht zu groß, aber Grundausstattung da (keine Minibar, kein Kühlschrank)

Hôtel proche du Centre avec un parking public proche à 15 € par jour. Chambre spacieuse mais salle de bain un peu étroite et surtout sans produit de toilette. Dommage. Autrement personnel à l'accueil très disponible . Quartier très agréable.

Das Hotel können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig zu erreichen. Stop für Stadtrundfahrt ist in ca. 5 min. zu Fuss zu erreichen. Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer auch. Personal ist freundlich und hilft auch gerne. Man fühlt sich ziemlich sicher in dem Hotel, da man den Fahrstuhl nur durch durchziehen der Zimmerkarte betätigen kann. Wir würden immer wieder hinfahren.

lorsque l'on voit cet hôtel de l'extérieur, on s'attend à y trouver du confort. Pas du luxe, juste du confort.... Alors quel choc lorsque l'on rentre dans ces chambres, elles sont tellement petites, inconfortables, mal aménagées. La salle de bain est minuscule, il est impossible de se laver dans une douche aussi étroite. Nous avons été trés déçus, voire révoltés qu'ils entassent des clients dans de telles conditions. Hôtel à éviter même si l'on n'est pas claustrophobe, on le devient dans ces chambres.

Tres bien placé pour le prix : il est à 3min à pied de la bourse, à 5min de la grand place. Attention cependant à votre voiture (surtout si vous avez une plaque étrangere), il vaut mieux ne pas la garer dans la rue. Il est largement preferable pour sa securité de la garer dans le parking 58(couvert), tout à coté de l'hotel. Chambre très propre et très correcte, calme très bon accueil

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zu verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten, die man gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Wer eine günstige Unterkunft für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Brüssel ist mit dem IBIS bestens bedient. Wellnessangebote können in der Kategorie nicht erwartet werden. Die Zimmer sind aber sauber, funktionell eingerichtet und das Frühstück ist auch ok

hotel ibis sainte catherine proche du centre et facile à atteindre

Chambre très petite mais très propre. Internet payant dans les chambres, c'est de l'abus. Petit déjeuner hors de prix !! 14 euros ! Sinon bien situé et personnel très agréable.

OK city hotel, although with somewhat small rooms. Apart from that everything was fine. Easy walking distance to the centre of Brussel.

sehr nettes Hotel für Kurzzeitaufenthalt zimmer extrem klein

Ett prisvärt hotell med trevligt, centralt läge. Funktionellt och frächt. Bra sängar, Bra frukost buffé. I kvarteret runt hotellet finns ett flertal trevliga restauranger.

Hôtel très bien situé, quartier calme. Le personnel est avenant et fort sympathique. La chambre était propre et confortable. Je recommande cet hôtel ! Dommage que le petit-déjeuner soit si cher.
