nice hotel, good staff, chose this hotel for price and good location close to the industrial park (research) . Restaurant on site which is convenient if you are coming in late in night.

Travel many times a year to Vancouver, and did a first time stay here and will do it again. Good value and close to a couple of good restaurants.

The service at this hotel was excellent - both check-in and check-out were very quick and efficient. The room and the hotel were both neat and clean. My only criticism would be that although the property is well-maintained, the decor and fixtures are starting to look dated. I would suggest management consider freshening up the look of the rooms in the not-too-distant future to give them a more contemporary feel. For travelers visiting from out-of-town, I would say that the surrounding neighbourhood is not the most interesting and vibrant; if you're looking to be in the centre of arts or nightlife, this isn't it. That said the hotel is conveniently located near major driving routes (eg the Trans Canada highway), and access to the city's Skytrain rapid transit system is about 5 minutes walk away. So if you're looking for a comfortable place to rest and a good value, and don't mind a bit of travel to reach the major tourist attractions, this might suit you well.

Beds are a little bigger than a Twin. Sheets are not tucked in at bottom. Had to remake bed prior to sleeping. Dining, food was excellent one of the servers was poor. On arrival the place was empty but server requested us to make a reservation.

The room was so dirty it made me sick and so uncomfortable

I think this hotel is good for this price already, so if you are looking for a nite overstay but cheap one, take this

It was good but I thought my room could have been a little cleaner. I mentioned the tile in the bathroom didn't look as if the grout had been cleaned in some time as it was very filmy but nothing resolved this during my 6 day stay. I also had a room service book that offered breakfast and when I called for an hour with no result, I asked at the desk as I had to leave for work and they said, oh yeah we don't offer breakfast. Why on the menu then? Overall the staff was very nice and the location for me is handy to my remote office so I will most likely stay there in the future.

We were very happy with this hotel. Our extended family was travelling together, and we had 3 rooms booked. The rooms were clean and well outfitted. Kitchens had microwave, sink and fridge, but no stove. One of the 3 rooms had a tv in the living room - the other two only had a tv in the bedroom. Front desk staff was very helpful. The outdoor pool was heated, as was the outdoor hot tub, and a number of us went for a swim, and were pleasantly surprised at how warm both were - even for mid September, when the outside temperature was barely 20C during the day. We'll definitely stay here again if we can get the same rate!

Would stay again- Desk staff (Alan) very helpfull re nearby shoping Malls and Sky Train routes. Downtown/Waterfront Vancouver 29 Minutes away. Able to walk to Restaurants,Sky Train without requiring Taxi.

The hotel was conveniently located. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was more comfortable. The rooms are quiet. the gym was small, but I was the only one using it the few times I went in. Room cleaning starts early so hang your do not disturb sign if you want to sleep after 8.

absolutely enjoyed our stay!

The rooms were great! Clean, tons of space, and even a refrigerator! A pool and hot tub outside was a great touch as well as the great smelling flowers in lobby. WOW just WOW. I would go to this hotel again!

The room was very nice. I thought it was good value. The only complaint was charges for local calls and a suprise at checkout when a daily parking fee was added to our bill.

This is not a good quality hotel with this kind of rate I expected at the location that it is supposed to be. In Vancouver, you cvan easily get a much better quality of hotel with this kind of rate.

The room was not very clean. The quilts on the beds were old and not clean. The floor in the bathroom was dirty . The carpets in the room were some of the worst I have seen. It was a good location.

Cleaning staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast. Need more toasters.

Very clean, well kept. Outside of building deceiving. Have stayed here on other occasions and have always been pleased.

It was a very comfortable stay. Room was large and clean. There was everything we needed. Frige, microwave, flat screen tv, baby crib for our baby, etc.

With a name like Executive, I expected more. My rating would come closer to any average hotel. My first impression from the outside as I arrived was that I would be looking for another hotel, as the outside appearance was of a somewhat older hotel. The inside lobby was decent, but fairly average. The hotel was in a good location in Burnaby, right next to a couple of restaurants, and a few minutes away from a large mall (Brentwood). The rooms were comfortable and clean, but fairly average. No view, except the street. They had an average outdoor pool and small hot tub. Was disappointed that any money I saved using Hotels.com evened out by having to pay for parking fees which would have been free had I booked directly with them, which wasn't mentioned. Why would parking at their hotel not be included?? My other clients stayed at the RiverRock hotel, which wasn't as convenient of a location for me as I was working in Burnaby, but would be my choice next time.

We were very pleased with our stay. Pool was nice. Everything was clean and pleasant, One negative was having to pay for parking which seemed like a hidden fee to offset the room rate. Renos in parts of the building made it look rundown. Aside from that it was a very satisfactory stay. Great location.

I checked in late in the evening, and was greeted with a look of disgust. I was passed off to the manager at the time, who assisted with sorting out my complications. The room cards/readers are in poor condition. The room didn't have a very fresh scent or feel to it; it seemed musty. Considering the rate, I would have expected free parking, but instead was handed a bill for my parking pass at the end of my stay. I would also expect local phone calls to be free, but that too was attached to my bill. The only thing that stood out to me was that there was a cactus club cafe just down the parking lot, and a tim hortons around the corner. I wouldn't stay here again.

A bit dated, undergoing renovation but my room was clean and up to date. My room had a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware. A good desk and wired and wireless internet access. The maid service was great and I never worried about the cleanliness or safety. Parking is extra. Front desk was pretty noncommittal, they did their job but I can't say I felt welcomed. I didn't use the pool, fitness center or restaurant. Enough shops and restaurants within walking distance, as is the sky train to get you to Vancouver. The price was right and I would stay there again.

Arrived at time of check in, 3 pm, our standard room was not ready, we were immediately upgraded to a queen suite with no questions asked !! Front desk staff were very friendly, as were the cleaning staff. The only negative thing I would have to say is that there is only 1 elevator, and it is very slow. Our room was very nice, very clean, and a nice balcony view looking south, even tho it was only a 4 story hotel. We will definitely go back... oh yes, and Cactus Club pretty much in the same parking lot, as is Boston Pizza...very convenient, and Brentwood mall 4 or 5 blocks away.

Would repeat booking when travelling to same area.

Room ,location, pool all good.Buffet was too expensive, $ 25.00 per person so brunch for 3 was $ 100.00 once you add tax and tip.Front desk staff was helpful and good about holding our reservation when we were going to arrive late.Small issues with room maintainance and T.V reception was poor.Overall decent stay for the money.

For an out of the city center location, it is strange not to find a free parking. Also they were having serious problems with the WIFI in the room. Luckily there was a wired internet available. Breakfast was good.Acceptable for business

Totally comfortable. Very enjoyable. most courtious and friendly staff!!

Great place, close to shopping and food. Excellent rates, clean room and breakfast coupons were included with the room. Parking not included be prepared to pay for this.

The hotel is good, nice and clean. A little dated corridors but no complaints on cleanliness. It might be good for business travel, with a separate sitting area, jacuzzi, etc. But If you are going to visit Vancouver for vacation, its a little out of the way from any tourist spots or nightlife. Plus it is a bit on the higher end price wise for the location. Parking is not included , and breakfast is not included.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Easy to get on skytrain. Comfortable beds. Room was very clean, however the grout in the bathroom was reddish in places.

It exceeded my expectations for sound proofing & general cleanliness...I understand it is undergoing renovations, but other than the hall carpet being loose (I saw this as a potential falls risk...not clear enough signage), it met our needs for location & convenience. All staff were friendly & courteous. Restaurant was convenient & met our needs.

The Executive Hotel needs a few upgrades. Carpets, furniture, beds, etc. Staff was nice.

Overall the hotel wasnt what I expected it to be. I was fooled by the pictures of interior. It was next to a hightway in a not so nice area. And you could also hear the trains go by every few minutes. I was shocked to see the outside of the hotel, it looked like motel 6 or some other low end motel It was embarrassing because my kids was expecting a really nice hotel. But the inside was not too bad and the service was also acceptable. That was the savior. But they also charge for parking 9.00 a night which they didnt tell us when we checked in. For the price, I wouldve gone to Sheraton or Holiday Inn...
