Liked the hotel very much. It was nice and clean. The breakfast was a bit expensive for the choice available.

Great location, comfortable rooms. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room but other than that I couldn't fault this hotel for the price we paid.

Located conveniently right in front of a stop of the tramway line that takes you from and to St. Pieter's station to the center of Ghent. The room was very clean and modern but small amenities like combs, toothbrushes, shower cap,, etc were missing, so TYOTT - take your own toothbrush and toothpaste. A fast and free WIFI and internet connection is available in every room. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of breads, whole wheat and white, buns and Danish as well as great salami, ham, sausages, eggs, camembert and Gouda cheese, coffee, teas and juices, fresh fruits, cereal, bran, cornflakes, yoghurt, etc. If you are someone who just has a cup of coffee and one slice of toast in the morning, then the price of 14 Euro for breakfast will seem high, but if you are someone who likes a breakfast that sticks to the ribs, this will more than satisfy you, and in my opinion, good value for money. Furthermore, there are no coffeeshops or cafés near the hotel where you can have breakfast and down in the city center, that is a 10 minute walk away, shops open at 10:00 am or later so the hotel breakfast is very convenient. Ask for a room that away from the main road because late night revelers can be very noisy on Fridays and Saturdays.

The rooms and in particular the bathrooms are small but actually perfectly adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The really convenient location tilts things in the hotels favour.

Room was small but clean. Bathroom was incredibly small - ok for one night. Didn't have breakfast as there are lots of better options in the town. We had bicycles, parking was provded in the hotel garage free of charge. There is a city tax of 2.5 euro per person per night which has to be paid on arrival

At first I got a really tiny room with an incredible noisy a/c. (impossible to sleep next to) When I asked about it, I was told that they get that complain a lot... Luckily I could change room to one that was three times as big, also with a noisy a/c but ok to turn off at night since the room was bigger. Breakfast was too expensive (14 euro) compared to quality and the beds were a bit hard. Otherwise a clean, nice and simple hotel with good location, you get what you pay for.

The main plus of this hotel is its location, a few minutes from the centre of the old town, with a good wholefood cafe next door. However the double room was very small and basic, as was the showerroom. The decor is ugly but it seemed recently fitted. Although it was generally clean, there was a nasty sweaty smell lingering. Because of the layout of the room, and the lack of soundproofing, we could hear every noise and conversation in the corridor, though we were away from the main street and didn't get any noise from outside (it is on a busy road, so other rooms may differ). I could only recommend this hotel if you get it very cheaply and don't plan spending any time in the room: there are much better hotels elsewhere.

A well run hotel with polite friendly staff. Well positioned for the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative point was the bathroom which was tiny.

Perfectly situated for easy walking distance into the historical centre and shopping area. Clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Tram stop directly outside the hotel.

We got to the hotel earlier than the check in time, and still we got given our room straight away, no hassle at all. The hotel and room look quite new, but everything was impecably clean and tidy, with additional towels and pillows in the room, 3 large mirrors so you could use them even if the bathroom is in use. The bathroom is quite compact, but again, perfectly clean and has all you need, plus enough room to have your things. Very handy Extremely well located, you are 5-10 min walking from everything (and if you don't want to walk, there is always the tram right on the front door) The only thing to "criticize" is that the light in the bathroom is a bit too bright, but it did not bother us now because there is lots of daylight early in the morning until quite late at night. We didn't use it, but the bar on the ground floor looked quite nice too Breakfast was really really good and abundant, and staff were always very nice and helpful (more than the mere politness required by the business) Would totally recommend to stay here (unless you want a very spacious room, of course)

I stayed in this hotel while auditioning for the Opera orchestra. The location was perfect, about 1 minute away from the opera house and easy to get to from the train station (just take Tram 1 to Justitiepalais, and the hotel is right there). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. The middle of town was a nice stroll down the road, and the area around the canal was quite at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice quite place to crash at night, while still being within walking distance of the center of town.

Hotel agradable, limpieza de la habitación y baño buena. A 10-15 min a pie del centro histórico.

Hotel con habitaciones pequeñas pero acogedoras y con camas muy comodas. El servicio incluido en la habitación y muy pequeño pero muy bien.

Avondmaal donderdag 15 september was beneden niveau beef strogonoff. menu op de kaart was op en werd beef strognoff aangeboden. Pasta en het vlees kwam volgens mij zo uit de magnatron zeer onsmakkelijk. Ik was zeer teleurgesteld.

Es un hotel bien ubicado. Nos facilitaron un parking en los alrededores. Habitación correcta y tranquila aunque había escasez de toallas.

Een mooi hotel voor de prijs kwaliteit verhouding en lekker dicht bij het centrum van Gent.

Net hotel met schone kamers. Kamer was wel erg klein en dan met name de badkamer. Maar goed, hoeveel ben je op je kamer in zo'n leuke stad. Kijkend naar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding dan is deze dik in orde. Alle bezienswaardiheden, terrasjes, winkels, etc zijn op loopafstand.

Minpuntje was de kleine badkamer en gehorige deuren

Muy bien situado sin estar en el centro, de facil y comodo acceso desde los alrededores. Personal muy amable y dispuesto. Habitación confortable. Muy recomendable.

Hotel sistué proche du centre de la ville = OK :-) La qualité standard "Ibis" est connue = OK :-) Toutefois les locaux de celui-ci sont particulièrement exigus et le petit déjeuner me semble sous la moyenne attendue.

Breakfast was expensive and not really worth the money. Otherwise there where no problems. Not the biggest rooms Ive experinced but it worked just fine :)

hôtel bruyant avec arrêt du tram devant - salle de bains minuscule avec 1drap de bain chacun et un verre pour 2 - le matelas en latex était sur la mauvaise face donc nous avons dormi sur les alvéoles de latex - petit déjeuner cher à prendre dans une pièce triste à souhait., manque de déco, les halls de gare sont plus acceuillants !
