على الرغم من أن سرير الغرفة أصغر بكثير من الصور وال سرير المزدوج أصبح سريرين صغيرين منفردين . و الخدمة مزعجة بعض الشيء إلا أن غرفة (107) مريحة جدا. وكان السجاد والديكور نظيف، وأغطية السرير جديدة، على الرغم من أن هناك حاجة إلى وجود لحاف نظيف. وكان الحمام مدهش، على الرغم من أن الوح الزجاجي للحمام بحاجة للتلميع جيداً. و حتى أليكس بوليزي لم يلقي باللوم على خدمة العملاء. عند وصولهم لاحظت طاقم العمل يداي باردتان، فقاموا بإحضار طبق جميل مع رذاذ من بساتين الفاكهة واثنين من المناشف الساخنة للتبخير. كنت جالس لوحدي في مطعم للوجبات الخفيفة، والخدمة كانت جيدة، وتلقيت فقط أكواب من ماء الصنبور مع أوراق دافئة ملتفة حوله جعلت منه مريحاً. و عند الرحيل قدموا لي قوارير الماء لرحلتي. عموما كانت تجربة جميلة.

كان طاقم العمل ممتاز .وعندما جلست على المرحاض ركبتي كانت محتكة في المغسلة و طولي هو ستة أقدام و ستة إنشات ، أشبه بعملاق . كان الغرفة ديلوكس، و هل أحتاج إلى الحديث أكثر؟

يقع الفندق في واحدة من أذكى المناطق في لندن، أنه محاط بالتصميم المعماري الأنيق و على مسافة قصيرة من المسرات من حديقة كينسينجتون من القصر الملكي، و يوجد هنالك معرض فني، و ممشى، وحدائق واحيوانات برية . وعلى حافة الحديقة يوجد متحف رائع لألبرت التذكاري، و في المقابل تماما توجد قاعة ألبرت، ويجب زيارة هذا المكان لعشاق الموسيقى، و يوجد في خلفها الكلية الملكية للموسيقى. و على بعد ثوانٍ من الفندق يوجد متحف العلوم، ومتحف فيكتوريا وألبرت، وهارودز إذا التسوق هو ما تتوق إليه. لذا فإن البقاء هنا يعني الراحة والجمال. بالقرب منك ترى الجمال والثقافة والتاريخ، والتسوق، و يوجد هناك محطة لمترو الانفاق على الطريق!

I loved it! What a great area- so beautiful and quiet yet close to the subway stations! An easy location to get anywhere!

This hotel was pretty deluxe - the room was very comfortable, the staff pleasant and very helpful, and the bar and cocktail service was outstanding. Best blackout shades I've ever seen - the made the room completely dark, even in mid-afternoon, if desired. Also, a ton of great restaurants nearby and a great little farmer's market on Saturday morning.

A STYLISH, COMFORTABLE HOME FROM HOME. WELL PRICED, WITH ATTENTIVE AND YET UNOBTRUSIVE STAFF. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Loved everything about this hotel. Comfortable, beautiful rooms, attentive, friendly staff and a great location for walking to museums.

The location and staff were great, until we requested two wake up calls (asked for two in case they had a problem with one) and didn't receive either. Apparently they transposed the room number and did not think to try the room number associated with the car service to the airport one hour after the requested wake up call. Since clocks were turned back the evening before we were unsure of using the alarms on our U.S. cellphones--hence the two wake up calls request.

We stayed here last weekend to visit our Daughter and see George Michael at Earls Court. Our room was absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous 4-poster bed, huge chandelier, lovely view to Queens Gate over the front door. Chocolates, cake and water left at turn down.. and the bathroom! Wow! 2 basins, stand alone bath and the best power shower in London. Fantastic location too - minutes from South Kensington tube, or walking distance to Harrods and Knightsbridge shops/Hyde Park etc if you wish to avoid the crowds underground! A gorgeous part of London. We didn't take the hotel breakfast as there are lots of beautiful little cafes nearby - in fact we were spoilt for choice. Another bonus was that we were able to avoid all the crowds trying to get home from Earls Court after the concert - just a 15 minute safe walk to hotel from this venue. (And a great kebab shop "Bosphorous" just across the road too for midnight snacks!). All the museums are on the doorstep and there's a great exhibition "Ideas" on at Christies at the moment. London at it's best! Free wifi too and excellent cocktails! And George Michael was amazing by the way :) Room Tip: We had room 115 - it was a little noisy as facing front, but we didn't mind in the slightest! Quiet compared to Brighton....

We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Spacious hotel room, helpful staff. Nice ambiance.

This place is spot on in every way. Gorgeous lobby and parlor rooms on the first floor to meet with colleagues or enjoy drinks in. Bar is great. Staff as friendly and helpful as can be. Location is stellar. And the hotel is in great condition, with the interior decor of the rooms all you could ask for.

Easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful, with terrific customer service.

Super, 5 star service, if you can avail of a good nightly rate this has to be the best London hotel, smiles, style, service, elegance and convenience.

Nice service staff, great location. Rooms were tiny but since you are in Londona and hanging out in your hotel room all day this is fine.

Wonderful location! Close to the tube and lots of excellent restaurants. Rooms are very small but clean and beds are very comfortable.

The location is terrific and the Hotel is attractive. Although the staff was charming, service is spotty and part of it can be attributed to language problems/lack of understanding questions and answers. We had to change our first room and discovered that housekeeping is very uneven as far as supplying rooms with necessities is concerned.

Love this hotel and where it is located! Staff is excellent, hotel is very comfortable and a good value in London.

What a great hotel! We had stayed the previous 2 days at an overrated hotel in bath.We got to the Kensington Hotel and everything was perfect. Room was great, internet great. The best was the staff. There was even a great gym that was free. Concierge was amazing-he gave us some gorgeous walking routes. They found us restaurants. Plus the neighborhood was spectacular. Close to underground, restaurants, walks and just seeing everything. We were in London but in a tiny neighborhood. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

This hotel is a real gem. HOWEVER, request to stay on a non-smoking floor. You would not know to do this as the hotel says it is non-smoking, but on my 2nd night there my room smelled like an ashtray. I called the front desk when I returned to my room and they informed me that I was on the 4th floor where people were allowed to smoke... in a non-smoking hotel. My clothes actually smelled like smoke the next morning and it was uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel was full, so they couldn't move me but offered me a glass of wine which I declined. Was going to bed. Despite the smoking in the non-smoking hotel this place is great. The rooms are cozy, but well laid out. Great housekeeping. The lobby is simply lovely! food was great in restaurant and room service. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there when I am next in London. I will just be sure to ask to be on a floor without smoking.

Spent a lot of time reading reviews before traveling. Was extremely worried about what to expect due to the money I was willing to spend. I found the Kensington staff extremely pleasant, the room much larger than expected and the location fantastic. Have no complaints about my stay other than the bar service a little slow.

Perfect location, tube only metres away. Very helpful staff and very well presented. This hotel is perfect for someone who doesn't want to stay in a big chain hotel. It has much character without compromising on comfort. Gym facitlites were great too! Will definitely return to this hotel. Highly reccommended!!

Excellent Location, Nice Staff, Terrible Rooms For a 5 Star Hotel I have never encountered such small rooms, we reserved a superior room and the bed was 20cms from the wall on 2 sides and touching the wall at the head of the bed. The bathroom was like one on a flight, it was very very small. I would not recommend this for comfort, only for convenience to the city centre and Heathrow Airport. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel when compared to hotels in Ireland or in the US.

We were a very late booking with probably the last double room available, probably why it was so small. Would have been very difficult to find storage space if staying for more than 3 days, but was very clean, well maintained and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent location near our Chelsea / Knightsbridge business appointments with close access to numerous very good restaurants in and around the Old Brompton road.

The recent £20M refurbishment looks good throughout. Reception, lounges, bar, restaurant & rooms. Couple of very small service issues let it down for a five star during our stay. Would still recommend it though and stay there again on a reduced rate. Staff – all very friendly and courteous, particularly reception, except bar manager who was courteous but without a smile. Breakfast – very good quality and choice on all-you-can-eat continental including cereals and fresh juices (probably the best fresh orange I've ever tasted and I drink a lot of it so have sampled lots!), breads, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, nutrition bars, smoothies & yoghurts, tea, coffee, toast and spreads. All for a typically London hotel price of £15. We also sampled from the additional (at £5 per head) hot options. I had a tasty full English of two bacon rashers, one sausage, two poached eggs (could have chosen fried, boiled or scrambled), tomatoe, half slice of fried bread and some black pudding whilst my wife choose eggs bendict and got two poached eggs each on half a toasted muffin with ham and cheese sauce. Although there seemed to be plenty of staff around they did struggle to keep on top of guests orders. In our case the tea and toast was forgotten and I saw others having similar issues. Also on one occasion our table hadn't been wiped clean from earlier guests even though it had been re-set. Location – Chosen specifically for Earls Court which was an easy 20 minute stroll away. Would also have been ideal for many museums which were even closer. Only a short tube ride to Piccadilly Circus etc. Rooms – Booked a delux which appeared to be fine on first impression, roomy and obviously recently refurbished, however the bathroom hadn't been cleaned to our standards and had a handful of small crawling insects in the bath! Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The attention to detail really made it memorable. The location is so handy from Heathrow to South Kensington station just a few minutes walk and so easy to get to The Royal Albert Hall again just a few minutes walk. The sitting areas in the hotel are so comfortable with the soft music, scented candles and the fires we really didn't want to leave and the bar food was lovely. The staff are so friendly and professional.

Having seen what several hotels are like in London, this is a real gem. A great hotel with a classic contemporary feel throughout. Staff are exceptionally friendly and are always happy to help. Rooms are quiet, neat and tidy if not a little on the small size. All in all an excellent stay. Warning - breakfast is very expensive, £15-20pp, I recommend going out and finding somewhere else to eat. There are plenty of cafes in the area.

Perfect place for a visit to the South Kensington museums, knightsbridge shopping or the Albert Hall. We will definately be staying here again.
