Park Central Hotel - فورت وورث

I found the hotel unacceptable. Furniture and curtains appeared to be at least 25 years old (very outdated), plumbing was very dated as well. I stayed only one night and got out. This hotel never should have been listed as one of hotel.com options. Never again.

The convenience of the hotel is great. Did not have to take the car anywhere because the trolley stop and the bus stop were right in front of the hotel. And it is in the Downtown area. The only things that I was not happy with was the stopper to the bathtub was too small and the five year old we had with us does not like to take showers. It was so late we did not call the desk we just used a wash cloth as a stopper. Also the shower was not well lit. I saw on line when i booked that parking was free, but when we checked in we were told that they like to keep the parking out front open for the restaurant and bar customers so we had to park in the basement at $13 a day. Not bad but the kids were scared of the basement. Overall very happy and will stay again but will not park in the basement.

The front desk staff were fantastic! Friendly, and eager to help.

Very old hotel...and it has live music going until 2am on a Thursday night! It is very hard to get a goodnight sleep in this hotel if you can sleep at all.

This is an older style hotel. reminiscent of the old holiday inns with the doors on the outside, I think its the same furniture too! I had problems with the WIFI which seemed to only work in the lobby, but they did everything that they could to get it working even moved me to a another room and gave me a cable to hook-up to the net. The Restaurant is not always open which caused a problem in the morning but the food was good and I really like Mexican food . The place needs some work, better internet connections, something needs to be done with the car port, I would think lights and paint. An upgrade in the furniture, more washing machines. The ability to charge food to the room would also be nice. The people are more homey rather than cold professionals , They take an interest in you . The music in the bar was quite good most if the time which was on Thursday Friday and Saturday of my stay.. If you don't like loud music... make sure your room is not over the bar... for me I actually liked it. I always play the radio at night anyway. If I go to the conference next year I am sure I will stay here again, really like saving money and as the old saying goes Location Location Location!!!! I walked everywhere or took one of the free shuttles around town. There's even a shuttle to the Stockyards on Saturday. Saving money was the goal without loosing Location and in this it was quite successful. I will stay here again and hope their upgrades continue.

I was recently in town for a conference at the Ft Worth convention center. I totally spaced on booking a room early so when I sat down to find a place my choices were here, or a suite at the Omni for 5 times as much. I decided to take it easy on my expense account and booked here. Well, I shouldn't have been so generous. I pulled back the covers on one bed and the sheet looked like they had "love stains" on them. I pulled the sheets back on the other bed and they looked decent. The next morning while I was taking a shower I noticed a handful of long black hairs on the inside of the shower curtain. On the wall in the bathroom looked like really old puke. Completely sketched out at this point I high tailed it over to the Omni for breakfast and an hour of free wifi in the lobby. I am so happy I only stayed for one night and no, I will be back. It's the perfect place for a drunken hook-up after a long night at Sundance Square, but it is not suitable for business travel.

On a Saturday night stay there was a band in the hotel playing until 1:30 am. It was like trying to sleep inside the club. On a weeknight it would probably been a good night's sleep but not on the weekend! The concrete walkways outside the room also made those walking on it sound like a herd of cattle (very authentic for Ft Worth). The room was mostly clean, the staff was friendly and professional but overall not conducive to a good nights sleep.

This hotel is in a GREAT location, but is in a pretty bad state in terms of cleanliness, and amenities. The room had two dead roaches in the bathroom, and overall looked like a skid-row room. The price is pretty good for Fort Worth, but for the price I paid, you do not expect to have things this bleak. Also the lobby was closed after 7:00 and the access to the building was very convoluted. Additionally, after returning from dinner one night, my key didn't work, so I had to call someone's cell phone, and wait for someone else to show up in the lobby to help me get my key remade. The woman who did this was very pleasant and apologetic, but I have never been to an hotel which was unstaffed after a certain time. The downstairs restaurant was also closed the whole time I was there. Sort of hard to believe this is in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. Felt like the twilight zone.

If your looking for a cheap place to stay across the street from the Convention Center the location is fabulous. However if your looking for a luxury hotel you will be disappointed. Overall it just needs some remodeling, updating, and a new heating system. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel is very convenient to downtown and fairly close to the cultural district. We appreciate the free on-site, secure parking (we are not fans of valet parking). Staff was very considerate and accommodating.

I was in complete shock when I arrived. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was by far the filthiest hotel ever. The first room was totally disgusting and they did put me in one that was slighty cleaner. I checked out the next morning and I was refunded the remainder of my stay.

Not a great Hotel, but convenient for location, and for the parking.

Its old has a smell about it...............not the cleanest but has a very friendly staff its across the street from the convention center and it has a jazz bar with excellent food so all in all you cant beat the price.

If you go in with the right expectations, this hotel is a solid deal. Not fancy, and yes, it's old. But overall, well maintained. Though on a noisy downtown street, my room was very quiet--quieter than the Hyatt on Central in Dallas that I stayed in the night before! Employees all super-helpful and friendly. Outstanding location across from Convention Center. A block to Water Gardens. Free MollyTheTrolley.com bus stops right out front. "Breakfast" was coffee, a granola bar and fresh fruit. Eh. Parking garage is a bit creepy--but I didn't spend much time there! Central air, comfy bed, basic motel-type bath and shower. Nice to be able to support an old-school Mom and Pop place instead of mega-corporations. Nothing flashy, but a solid value, IMHO.

I chose this hotel as a last minute booking near the convention center. It is next to the convention center. Great location. Great rate. It is out of date. Old 20 inch tv, very old beds. However, great service; very clean. So in recommending it, I would say it depends on which of those things you are looking for.

This place is a dump. Built in early 60's, probably updated in 1980 at the latest. Dirty bathtub -- looked like it had been used everyday for 6 months and never cleaned Dirty bathroom floor -- small black hairs all over the floor Room stunk like BO No light at all outside of room when trying to enter. Clues/Red Flags should have been a deserted parking lot and deserted parking garage. Do not book reservations here!!!

The overall stay at the hotel was great except for not having a coffee pot in the room. It was downstairs in the lobby and I felt that it was an inconvience.

Hotel was not worth the price. But the location was very convenient.

No drinking water. Llights burned out. Rooms are a bit outdated and shabby. The price is high for a Motel 6

The front desk staff was great. The rooms are outdated but for the price we were pleased.

It was all about location, location, location. Right off Sundance Square. Could not have asked for more.

We found the Park Central to be all it claimed to be. Not the newest building , but well maintained. Would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff were friendly and helpful. '

This hotel is older, but it's half the price and half the hotel. Hotels in downtown FtW are overpriced all around. All about the location. If you don't want the fluff and just a place to sleep. You'll save $$$

great location next to convention center, people there were very friendly, and extremely helpful with information. rooms were not fancy, but very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice if there was a place to eat breakfast in hotel, or near hotel. thanks

Older property but the rooms and hotel were clean and comfortable. The location and condition of the hotel provided a great value. I was in Ft. Worth for a conference at the Ft. Worth Convention center and the location was perfect, less than a block from the Convention Center entrance and the price was less than half of the room price offered at the larger chains nearby. I recommended to my colleagues, and will stay there again as I am in Ft. Worth regularly.

There was a lot going on in the neighborhood... live music, art show and of course the TAA convention in the convention center. The evenings were noisey but things were turned off in a timely manner and the place appeared to be clean and safe. Definitely a nice location for placing guests who are attending special events at the convention center.

Park Central Hotel is steps away from the Fort Worth Convention Center; although the hotel is not new; it is so convenient with friendly staff and half the price of next door hotels. Also the restarant Mambo had live music on the night I visited. It was great!

This was the cheapest hotel I could find downtown. It is very conviently located across from convention center and just a few short blocks from Sundance Square. This hotel is not for those use to 4 star hotels as it is older and does not have alot of the ammenities of other hotels. The room was great, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

There was a large white stain on the pillow sham that looked like it recently came from a human body. The sheets were stained for two of three days. I chose not to complain, Heating and cooling was done by a closed water system. Room A/C only produced high heat (hotel picks cool or hot for everyone) and was very uncomfortable to sleep for days that were hitting 75-80. The front desk warned me about this problem when I checked in. Neighborhood had a lot of transients and Hotel locks all lobby doors and disables parking elevator at night. The staff would unlock doors and elevators for me when I needed them. When I checked out, their computer was down and couldn't tell me my balance or give me a receipt for my stay.

I can now see why this was the cheapest hotel close to the location of our destination. It was definately an older hotel and looked it. The room was Ok, the toilet kept making gurgling sounds after a flush. The water temp in the shower was very difficult to adjust to a good temperature. Room smelled musty, old. It was convenient to where we wanted to go, but I would not stay there again.

For the price, this hotel does not measure up at all. It really needs updating in every possible way. We left and stayed down the road at the holiday Inn express. cheaper price and 100% nicer.

Yes, the hotel is older, but everything was clean and orderly. There weren't alot of extras--just coffee in the lobby. But it was perfect for our conference at the convention center. We were able to park once (at the hotel) and walk across the well lit street to the center. I would definitely go back again.

I made this reservation for me and my two children so that we could make a Doctors appointment the next morning. I arrived late expecting to get some sleep. The condition of this hotel was so bad that I had to check out only minuites after checking in. Of course, I get no refund and then had to drive around and search for a decent hotel to stay in. I ended up at a Fairfield.

You can't beat the location of this hotel for its price and location. It has all the basics you need, but no fluff. It is old, musty and in need of renovation, but considering it is more than half the price of other hotels within steps of the convention center, it is worth it.

Great location, Old hotel, don't be fooled by the claim of recently remodeled. Outside remodeled only not rooms or lobby.

We stayed last year and again this year. The hotel is within walking distance to the intermodel station plus the city bus and the trolley stop right out infront. It is within walking distance to many eateries. If we needed to go farther, the hotel staff just ordered us a cab & called our room when it had arrived. The hotel is old with dated furnishings, but the beds were comfortable and the staff went out of their way. My husband and I even had elevator races to see who could get to the lobby first & neither one of us ever were stuck. If you're use to the Hilton, this isn't for you- but if you like a small personal hotel-this is it!

There was mold on the ceiling. Two of the lights didn't work. The bathroom was run down. There was half a roll of toilet paper. The room service which is supposed to be open till 2am stopped serving apparently at 1:ooam. It smelled funky. The vending machine took our money. The only positive of this was teh location.

The first sign this might not be the best place to stay was when we went to take the elevator to our room and it was stuck with screaming people inside. I ran to tell staff and they just said oh its opening now like it was an everyday occurance. Room was dirty and old bathroom. It was 50 degrees outside during the day and no heater until after complaining. Also you can hear the bar thru the walls and everyones toilets flushing. And then to top it off, I got up extra early to make sure I would have hot water, it only lasted long enough to get wet, then straight cold, no one else with me could bathe. The only good thing, across the street from convention center. Also be prepared they charge to park at their hotel, and do not refund with stay.

I thought I was getting a newly updated room and it was anything but. It was like a little trashy apartment. The locks on the door were broke and it wasn't real clean but it was across the street from the convention center and the price was conciderably less than the others (you get what you pay for)

TOO MUCH NOISE FROM STREETS AND HOTEL CLUB THAT HAS BANDS. THE ROOM SMELLED REAL BAD. IT'S OLD. THE WATER HAD RUST COMING OUT IT'S PIPE AND MY FELLOW NEIGHBOR HAD ROACHES IN HER ROOM. GREAT LOCATION. FRIENDLY STAFF BUT ONE COMPUTER PRINTER DID NOT WORK.

Would not stay here again if it was free.

Great Location across from the Ft. Worth Convention Center. Comfortable beds!

Location was very good & so was parking. The room & decor was a bit dated, but I think most won't have a problem with that. My complaint was mainly that getting in the bed was like sinking into a pit. Put a new, firmer mattress in the room and I'd stay there again. I would have complained to the front desk about it, but it was too late in the night and I'd been traveling all day- didn't want another hassle.
