If the bed was comfortable, the plumbing was good, and the room is secure for my belongings, this was a hotel good enough for me.

Only real issue was the breakfast wasn't that good and the wireless never worked.

Satisfied for the price. The A/C wasn't working well, and it can be a challenge to get in coming from I-10. The room was clean, but one day our room wasn't cleaned up. Very limited breakfast options.

Easy to find, comfortable beds, very nice staff, reasonable price. However, only two towels in the bathroom seemed inadequate when we had booked the room for 4 guests. Breakfast was a rather skimpy, but they started serving at 6 a.m., so that was good. Staff said they had run out of a lot of breakfast foods over the weekend and had not yet been to the grocery store. Seemed like the weekend staff should have restocked.

Ac DIDNT COOL OFF. OTHER THAN THAT ITS WORTH THE MONEY

It was a good place to stay. Not the fanciest, but for the price, acceptable. Breakfast was minimal, but again, for the price, acceptable. The people at the front desk (night and morning) were very nice. Glad we went through Hotels.com, because we were told that 18 people who had booked through another online site had been turned away because their reservation hadn't gone through and they were sold out.

The rooms are not clean and the AC , Microwave and refrigerator dint work properly,no cleans towels.When I asked them regarding those the manager she told these are just complementary for the double bedroom if u want u can stay or else you can leave right now. The Manager over there is very arrogant & rude.In the beginning she is acting fine.She is the worst lady I have ever seen.Never thought to go back to that place because of her.The only reason I stayed there for so many days is the rates are reasonable and its near to my work place and now I cant take it anymore and I finally Quit.The manager name is Shelly.

No pool! Comfortable bed. Quiet. Best sleep.

I have stayed here several times on business. Hotel is now beginning to show wear. In need of renovation. Carpet, fixtures, general cleanliness. Staff did not to very good job of controlling noise from other guests. I was there on business and only in hotel to sleep. Unfortunately, sleep was hard to come by as noise lasted well into morning hours. Possibly time to find another place to stay while in Lafayette.

it was really clean and everyone was friendly

Had nice staff, good location, basically clean, good price, my only big complaint was the bed was very, very soft. Next time I would call and talk with the counter and find out if they have any firmer beds before making reservations. Otherwise I would have to look elsewhere to get a good nights sleep.

John at the front desk was very accommodating and nice. Housekeepers were helpful. Would stay again.

I don't think you can find better deal for that price. Good rooms, good Breakfast.

The room I got was dirty. The lock was broken on the door looked like it had been kicked in. Maintence man showed to fix it drunk you could smell the liquor. The staff was kids and refused to put me and my family in a different room. I will never stay here again.

The hotel billed me for my stay in addition to what I had already paid on hotels.com. I called them to get it sorted out and they did quite promptly. However they woke me up at 7:45 in the morning to tell me that they had credited my account. The manager didn't apologize for the early call and told me that she had to leave early. It bothers me that I was already inconvenienced by their billing mistake and she acted like she had done me a huge favor by sorting it out and waking me up at an inappropriate call time. The sheets had stains on them. At least I'm hoping they were stains and not just dirty. And I had to call the front desk for towels bc there were none in the room. They initially wanted me to come to the front desk to get them but since I was in my pjs I asked that they have someone send them up which they did. I don't expect a lot especially at this price point... But billing me correctly, decent service and having a towel in the bathroom are pretty basic things. Thankfully I rarely find myself in Lafayette. But if I ever have to spend the night there again it won't be at this hotel.

The best thing about this Hotel were the friendly staff who did everything to make our stay comfortable. Rooms were clean but in run down condition. Air conditioner was very noisy. My room had a musty smell that would not go away. The continental breakfast was dismal. Ditto for the coffee. The location was OK but as it is very close to Ambassador Caffrey Hyw. It was very noisy.

It was ok for a over niter.

Hotel is easy to get to since it is located right off the interstate. It is close to several fast food restaurants and gas stations and only takes a couple of minutes to get into town. Room was decent for a place to sleep for the night. Beds were pretty comfortable.

Was really discussed as they didn't have keys for the room and I had to have someone let me in everytime I left my room. As to be awoke at 5 am and they called at 6 am. Seemed like kids running the place. Had kids running up and down the halls until after 2 am.

This is the first Microtel that I was disappointed in. Building was old, in need of repair. Staff was excellent.

THE SERVICE GIVEN BY THE CHECK-IN GIRL WAS GREAT. THE KEY MACHINE WAS DOWN SO SHE HAD TO PERSONALLY TAKE EVERYONE TO THEIR ROOM AND LET THEM IN. SHE DID ALL OF THIS BY HERSELF WHILE HER GENERAL MANAGER WENT HOME TO TAKE A NAP AND THE OTHER GUY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING HER WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TOWELS IN THE ROOM.

I didn't expect much for this hotel as it was low cost and right off the highway. But I needed a overnight sleep. Walked in and two non employees were behind the desk sitting, chatting. Manager couldn't log in to the computer to check me in Red flag. Key code maker was down so couldn't get a key to the room. They had to LET you in each time you left the room. Wifi service was down. But when I got to the room it was pleasant. Good decor and a very comfortable bed. Tv was outdated but it worked and the bathroom/shower all though clean the shower head was older yet the bathroom was remodeled. Hmmm. Why not upgrade the shower head? The water was instant hot which I like very much. This stay was definitely a mixed bag.

The computer system was down and they had trouble checking us in and out. The room was hot and muggy. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and I didn't like the big mirror that covered the entire wall above the headboard. I wouldn't stay here again.

Didnt have blankets

This was the second go around with this hotel and the last. Yes, the price and location were good, but the sheets and towels were stained, the rooms surrounding me were LOUD and the general cleanliness of the room daily left a little to be desired.

I enjoyed my stay the staff was nice and freindly. The only thing was the traffic but besides that it was quiet and relaxing especially being located right next to the interstate.

The room was perfect

There are 2 things I could say where bad. Our 1st time on the elevator it was kinda stuck, and the a.c unit does not get cold to much. Other then that it was a good stay.

Quality of service

Another decent Microtel. Not much in the surrounding area. Safe place. Skimpy breakfast.

great location clean hotel just when we arrived someone was working on there car in the parking lot. And once we got our room the ac did not work. Other then that good hotel.

My room didnt have hot water. When I checked out I calmly told the young man at the desk that my room didnt have hot water and was going to leave. He responds, you have to let the water run. Inot sorry) I told him I let the water run for 10 minutes. He said you have to let it run longer and he guarantees the hot water workds. I said thank you and left. I would not stay her again period!

happy with the service

The room was over priced for what you get. The sink and bathtub didnt drain properly. Room smelled stuffy. View from the room window was abandoned tires. Front desk personnel didnt answer the phone,but when i went downstairs he had his feet up on the counter laid back. Housekeeping didnt look professional. Sleep caps on their head, listening to explicit music via their cell phone. I will not reserve a rooom here again.

Wasn't to impressed with the service we received. The hotel always collected our towels daily but only gave us 2 back and we had to wait and take showers due to the lack of towels they had on stock. Breakfast was superb. Great location and close to the interstate and all the shopping malls. Besides the lack of towels and the rudeness from the front desk employees it was a great stay

This is a decent budget hotel. Severed my purpose, but was not impress on any level. Some lack of cleaning concerned me and poor remodeling or lack there of often caught my eye. Small Notes: A/C was nice and cold. 32" LCD. Older fridge, but worked fine. Great feeling mattress.

I enjoyed my stay!!! This was my 2nd time and next time I make a trip I will be in the same hotel!!! I refered my family and friends and they both stayed there so it was great!
