The hotel was a very nice hotel for the money We have stayed there before several times breakfast was disappointing room was clean and comfortable remote never works right Staff polite and friendly.I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a nice location, right on the water, and it is clean and safe. The only issues I had were: the walls are extremely thin and a family with a small child stayed next door to me so i could hear the baby crying during the night and the toilet in my room wouldn't shut off unless I opened the tank and manually did it myself. I reported the issue at check out (I only stayed one night) so hopefully that was quickly resolved. The bed was comfortable and the staff was typical Massachusean: spoke quickly and worked efficiently. The only issue had with the service was the fact that the front desk person had their small dog with them when I was checking out and the dog was on the counter trying to sniff and lick me, which I found unprofessional.

Was impressed by the staff and also by the room . It was clean and warm. I enjoyed the fitness center and indoor pool. Hotel was close to restaurants. Only bad thing was the internet would not work. i could not connect to the wireless and I tried the hard line and this did not work even after staff member informed me that i needed to disable wireless. . Great value for money, and breakfast is good also.

Everything is good, except we encountered their wireless internet nor working during their IT went to a vacation. Also room is tight, not easy to open a luggage or store a luggage.

The check in was quick and fun with Brittany the front desk person. The room was clean and neet. The Hotel is in a great location to New Bedford.

It was ok and enjoyable.

I needed a quick place to stay after a business trip. I grew up in the area and was very familiar with the hotel. This place has been updated and really revamped since I left the area and I'm pleased to see how nice it is. With New Bedford just over the bridge (and another higher priced, newer hotel located directly downtown) the Seaport offers a low cost alternative that doesn't necessarily skimp on comforts. I'd definitely stay here again. However, with the recent construction going on in New Bedford, the trip can take a tad bit longer.

If you are looking to be close to the New Bedford/Cape Cod area for business or leisure, this hotel definitely will cover your expectations. Great location to get in and out of the area, quick drive to New Bedford downtown and restaurants, convenient with Marina for those with boats.

ENJOYED THE SEAPORT INN VERY MUCH.THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT.THE STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN

Best breakfast we had in a hotel. Room was tight with furniture but comfortable. Hand bar needed in bathtub for safety.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to access desipte the road construction on the bridge to New Bedford. It was clean and the room was sufficient for our needs. We were only there 1 night.

Location is cramped and on corner with high traffic. It was much farther to Cape attractions then we had planned. Rooms were old, humid, and felt small. We only had half a window. We had to wait 10 minutes for Clerk to check us in and when we asked about nearby restaurants & ferry he had no clue on how to help us. This hotel was highly rated so we expected more.

I was in Fairhaven on family business, and needed a place to work, in part on line, during the evening. This was more than adequate. Decor is somewhat spartan. View of harbor and docks is good if you look for it and like that kind of thing. Very historic area for the fishing industry. Service was good. I didn't eat in the bar-restaurant or have the complimentary breakfast. Traffic was light in the restaurant and it didn't have the aroma or the satisfied looking clientele that goes along with a great seafood diner, so I opted for a meal elsewhere. It's summer and rates in this area are high for what you get, and this motel was no exception. I'd stay here again, though, for sure.

Nice walk to a beautiful park by the water from the hotel. After a long day of meetings it was nice to get out and enjoy the day. Great meal at Elizabeth's down the street also. This hotel is nothing fancy, but is perfectly serviceable, clean, and in a convenient location.

I only stayed one night. The room was clean and the king bed was comfy.front desk employees are very nice as its the woman who attends to the breakfast area. The way the hotel its situated there aren't a many water view rooms as you would think. Now for the breakfast buffet. The stupid pancake machine needs to be replaced by one of those awesome waffle makers. I felt sorry for the woman who clearly had to attend to it every few minutes. They really could use some fresh fruit and some muffins. But I am guessing they don't want you scoffing anything for later. But it is the skimpiest of any self serve breakfast buffet ESP for the price. The bacon was delicious. Parking is across the street

As an NB native who can no longer depend on relatives to put us up on visits, I really want to rate the Seaport as highly as have most of your reviewers. My wife and I have stayed here before, the location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and I appreciate a hotel that's hospitable to pets. But by now, it's evident that the hotel is aging poorly, and needs refurbishing. The lobby is clean and relatively new-looking, but the rest of the hotel is not. We non-smokers somehow ended up in a smoking room on a smoking floor (still not sure how that happened), the smell of which became overbearing after 24 hours or so, but even the non-smoking floors smelled musty, with aging carpets and fixtures. As for the room itself, it was a little tight for two beds, but otherwise the layout was OK. It's the other details that were problematic - older, hard,smoke stinky mattresses; cruddy, hermetically sealed windows; ancient A/C unit blowing one cold temp, etc. Like I said, after passing by this property for years, I want the hotel to succeed. They seem to be full, and making $$' at least during the summer. What it really needs is for a remodel - maybe Hilton or Ho Inn will see the benefit in having a property in the NB area, and will put a little $$ and TLC into upgrading the entire property (including the skeevy side fronting on Rte 6). In the meantime, the Seaport should be glad we travel with the dog.

No elevator which was not a huge deal but seemed odd. Pet friendly. Right near the harbor which was nice. Morning breakfast was good. Was a bit noisy so sleeping was slightly difficult. But the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

We stayed one night because we were attending a party in the area. It was a perfect place for us to stay. The location was great and the breakfast hit the spot in the morning! It was just enough to get us back on the road in the morning.

If you book online, you are going to get the worst room in the house. We were given what was left...a handicapped accessible room

Service was excellent from Veronica, the desk clerk who helped me locate a police officer when I locked my keys in my car, among other small services. We were there to use the bike path as a mini vacation, and hotel is very close to it, close to Fort Phoenix and restaurants, plus right on the working waterfront. Easy to find, right off Rt6. Close to restaurants, although the one on the premises looked uninviting and run down, more like an old bar. Parking is on a side street and there where undesirables lurking about at night. Some of the houses near the hotel had trash in the front yards, quite unlike the neighborhoods only one street over. Had we not been touring on bicycles we probably wouldn't have seen that. There is no elevator and we had an infant with us so had to get a ground floor room. Breakfast was included and didn't have fruit or yogurt available, but did have an unusual pancake machine that cranks them out, scrambled eggs and bacon. You can take the bike path to the malls and into Mattapoisett.

you pretty much get what you would expect. The room could have been cleaner (the arms on the desk chair were sticky), but it is a nice location and the staff was pleasant.

For the rate and the location right on the water it was pretty nice. If I were in the area again I'd stay there.

I was recently up in that area for business and a friend recommended the hotel because she said it was clean and nice. It was both. Nice people at the front desk, helpful. Had a minor problem with the room and they took care of it right away. I'll be up there again soon and will probably stay there again. Not too many amenities, but I really wasn't looking for that. Neighborhood was nice and convienient.

Overall it was great. Only thing I longed for was either a ceiling fan or a standing fan for the corner. The room ac worked but just still felt a little stuffy.

The staff was nice and efficient. No elevators. Our room was so humid due to the humidity in the air outside and the fact that the windows in the room are very old and didn't seal well. When I turned on the air conditioning it was an arctic blast unit that aimed right at the bed. We were also in a room that bordered their parking lot and hear every single thing that went on there. Including phone conversations, laughing, walking dogs, etc. If you stay there ask for a room that is not facing that parking lot.
