Island Inn Lake Havasu City - ليك هافاسو سيتي

My first trip to Havasu;The Island Inn is located very close to the Lake Havasu Marina which is a plus. However it's a bit far to walk to any restaurants or to town. In addition, the hotel is a bit run-down: dirty carpets, the jacuzzi was not working; and to make matters worse I woke up with a number of huge bites on one of my arms that had to have come from Bed Bugs! The staff was friendly, but I will not make a return visit to this hotel !!

I stayed at this hotel because it was located very close to the start/finish line of a race I was running. The hotel is now brown, so are the trailers in the parking lot. It seems like they are trying to blend in with their blandness. The hotel rooms themselves were OK, the power outlets were nearly unusable. The beds were just doubles and OK on the comfort level. The pillows were a bit firm and thin, but, you guessed it, OK also. This hotel is just, bland. It is an alright place to stay, just don't expect much. For the price you pay though, it could be a bit overpriced.

Spring breakers were there an trashed the place. Very loud at night. Would not stay again at this time of year again.

Pros: good location, close to the london bridge, the channel, and the clubs. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Cons: slow check in, couldn't request rooms close together because they already assigned the rooms, basically they are lazy and didn't want to even try to reassign rooms. I used to work front desk for three years at a marriott and I would have tried my best to get three rooms as close together as possible for my guest. Elevators are few and very slow and stairs are very far away.

Great hotel. The wiring in the room was a bit archaic. Other than that it was good.

Great price and location with a lake view

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The over all cleanliness was good. And the rates were great. However, we were disappointed that the hotel no longer offered use privileges at the near by work out facility. It was one of the reasons we selected Island Inn and it is still listed as one of the amenities on their website. We were also disappointed that there were a number of noticeable maintenance issues i.e. loose shower heads, loose and protruding pool light in the pool, large notches in the crown molding above the window where evidently they changed out the window covering and did not bother to repair the molding, etc.

Very pleased overall. Great location and the price was very reasonable overall. Wished I would have stayed longer. Would most definitely go back to this property.

The location is great, we took a walk down to the beach where there are paths along the channel - very nice setting. The paths go to London Bridge, where there are lots of restaurants and shops....a very easy and pleasant walk. There are views of the lake from the room....not great views, but you can see the lake. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms had a samll fridge and microwave which we used...Manily the beds are very old...matresses and pillows very uncomfortable....towels worn and small.... But if they replace, sure they'll rais the rates!

Nothing not to like - accomodating, clean and comfortable. What more do you need?

THIS HOTEL / CASINO IS THE BEST - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

When we checked in, service was fine. Room was mediocre, two double beds, a door conjoining to another hotel room. When we returned later in the evening, the night guy was the scariest man I have ever seen, stern, rude, and NOT approachable. The hotel parking lot had all of three cars in it, but for some reason they decided to book another family right next door. Sure just leave the entire hotel empty and book two families right next door to eachother. I have kids, they had kids. My kids were asleep when the ones next door arrived and surely woke mine up. Then again at 5 am when their alarm clock went off. Anyway, the walls are super thin, so dont expect privacy. I will never stay there again.

Nice enough place to shower and crash after a long, hot day on the water. Pool closes at ten. Rooms have fridge and microwave which was nice too. Get a balcony room if you smoke. Mattresses not very good. I would stay there again.

We have stayed at the Island Inn know for the last 3 Labor Day hoilday weekends. We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and staff. We also like the convienent location and that they are pet freindly. Only criticism is no coffee machines in room.

Hotel was very comfortable and convenient to both Marina & boat launch, plus restaurants. Can actually walk along the beach out the back door of this hotel. Love to bring our GoldenDoodle so it was super being a Pet Friendly Hotel. Must note if you want a balcony to specify if you want a room facing the beach, or a distant view of Lake from front of the bldg. All in All, a Great place for a Great price! Hotel is showing some age, but staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Must ask for coffee pot at ck in since they walk off I was told. Pool area is showing wear on the cooldeck, but who stays at the hotel to swim when you have a nice Lake?

there were bed bugs and ticks maybe from the animals they let stay there they were in the bed and ticks full of blood probly mine i smashed one and blood squirted everyware the bugs were getting in my suit case i have atleast 50 bites on my body and have ben itching for 3 days now

Great location, people were nice, great price but the room was smelly of cat pee and the airconditioner was leaking all over the carpet!

It took til 345 for us to finally be allowed to check into our room once we got up to our room a maid was still cleaning it so we had to be moved. The $300 holiday security hold on my card has yet to be cleared off. And the lady that worked the front desk was very rude an un friendly. We will not be staying here again.

The location on the island gives you great views at night of the city. Close to everything you might need, clean room.

1st the hotel gave our room away to the wrong people. Then try to say they had no more rooms available. The lady up front tired to put us in a smoking room when one of the girl has asthma. After waiting for her to figure out where to put us we got a room. Went up to get ready and the room wasn't clean yet. My cuz was waiting for us the whole time! Never stay there again!! Lady was an idiot!!

The Island Inn was very convenient but I would not stay there again.

The weekend i went with my girlfriends was awesome. the hotel was in a perfect location, right by all the fun bars and clubs. The pool was nice to cool off and around the corner from the boat ramps. The hotel is also real close to the Havasu channel. Good spot! you wont be sorry. and the people that work there are very kind and helpful.

We stayed for Memorial day weekend and its pretty crazy at the lake for 3 day weekends but the hotel was a good price and it was close to everything... I mean walking distance of the channel and there was plenty of space in the back for those who were towing a boat. The hotel itself is kinda old and run down and looks like its been converted into a party spot for the younger crowd. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable but the hallways were another story... looked like the carpets needed to be replaced and there was a funky smell in the halls. There are not many amenities at this place but there is a pool and hot tub which is nice. They do not have coffee in the rooms and the bar was closed for maintenance or something while we were there. Because it was a holiday weekend, they required a 300 dollar hold on a credit card in case you trash the room so beware of that if you stay here. Overall, it is fairly cheap place but close to everything, not many amenities, and kinda run down. Hallways kinda smell but the rooms are clean and fairly comfortable beds. Would I stay here again, yes the bad things about the place are made up by the cost and the location.

It was OK, bathroom was not cleaned when we arived, hotel is not kept clean, pool was dirty and elevators real dirty, but its clsoe to the beach .

Location was great, AC worked good. Great shower pressure. The hotel was clean. They had a nice pool. My only complaint is there was no bar or restaurant. The staff was friendly.

We have stayed here before so we already knew it was a good place.The staff is friendly and helpful.Our room was clean and well situated with a nice view of the lake. The things that could be improved would be some better pillows and maybe a place to have coffee.

Ok Hotel nothing fancy, Restaurant and bar closed, very small pool.

"Lived in" feel but clean and comfortable.

Uncomfortable beds, cheezy towels, cheap disinfectant odor. Couldn't buy a cup of coffee in this hotel. Had to go into town.

Took the gentleman at the front desk 3-5 minutes to get off the phone with his 'boss' (very casual conversation....) to even greet us at check-in. The room was average but the location was the best. The 12:00 check out time beats most of the surrounding hotels. No breakfast in the am makes me sad but they have coffee makers to take to your room upon request. I would stay here again considering the price.
