Ibis Budapest Centrum - بودابست

I needed to add anadditional night to my stay. I was quoted a reasonable rate initially but when I went to pay I was told I could not avail of that rate. I was treated icely by the staff member on duty and my experience soured. I was totally disgusted and had to book alternative accomodation for my last night in Budapest. Hotel was fine, most of the staff were pleasent and very helpful bar a few. Overall experience, distasteful!!!!!!.

I was incredibly satisfied with the experience at Ibis. Everything was done well and it felt like a typical Western style business hotel. Nothing is outrageously priced, the internet works well, and the location is perfect with access to the 47 and 49 trams (to the train stations and around the center of Budapest) and the Underground. Simply great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is located in a very good position: quite, close to the metro and full of nice restauraunts, not so far from the river. Rooms are clean even if they are quite small and essentials (not so much space for your stuff). In the bathroom just two towels very lacered. Staff is very helpful. We raccomend it for a short stay (we were out all day long) also for the price (we found a good offer) in average with the accomodation!

The location is great, right on the main street for Restaurants and a well served by the Metro and Tram. The restaurants and bars in the locality are great, and if you are up for a short (15 - 20 minute) walk you will find yourself in what was described to us as the Soho of Budapest drinking with the locals and toursits alike. Make sure you visit the Szimpla Kert, an amazing ruinpub with a lively crowd. The staff at the hotel were excellent, and the hotel was well appointed and clean with very adequate facilities. I will definitely be staying here again on future visits to Budapest.

This hotel was extremely clean, staff were incredibly helpful and the location was fabulous. The street has dozens of outdoor cafes so food options were great - and yet it was a very quiet location at night. Also, just next to tram stop and ten minutes at most to main market, river, Gellert spa, etc. Seriously - for a great location at a great price this should be your place.

Typical character-less business hotel. But perfect if you're out all day and want somewhere clean, comfortable, with WiFi & charming staff, in a great downtown location next to the metro.

We stayed 6 nights of a 2-week vacation at the Ibis Centrum. We loved the location, very convenient to the center of the city but not too touristy. It is in the midst of a wealth of restaurants frequented by tourists and locals alike, one of which (the Voros Postakocsi) had such a fabulous menu that we returned 3 times. Convenient walking distance to many spots, and once we understood the public transit system (no thanks to the sometimes abrupt staff), we could visit the whole city with ease. Do not stay at this hotel if you have a car!!! The room was comfortable and a good value. The only major complaint is the poor quality of the wi-fi connection, which was so slow that the internet kept timing out.

Our stay was very comfortable. The hotel was clean and conveniently located to transportation and all the sights and sounds we wanted to experience in Budapest. It was in the heart of Raday Utca (restaurant street in hungarian).The business center was very helpful and so was the staff. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay again on my next visit to Budapest.

Hotel is newer and the rooms are updated and clean. The rooms are a bit small but you don't spend much time in them anyways as there is too much to see in Budapest. The location of the hotel is great and they have an underground garage for your vehicle (surcharge). It's located on a lively strip with lots of restaurants and cafes. It is close to all other sights. Don't have breakfast in the hotel as it is a bit pricey...there are markets and bakeries on the street where you can get delicious baked goods.

I really liked the location of this hotel, it was on a street where no cars are allowed to drive down and the street was full of nice bars and restaurant. The only negative thing I have to say is that the air conditioning didn't work very well, otherwise, highly recommended!

Room was nice, clean and location was really good. But the AC in our room was not cold. The front of the hotel was under construction and some homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalk. Plenty of cafes and restaurants right outside the hotel and that was convenient. The lobby bar was open 24 hrs a day and the free high speed internet service at the lobby was fast and stable. Breakfast buffet was a good deal as well. Friendly efficient staff. Overall, a good hotel to stay.

I found an amazing deal for this ibis, at around $70/night. It's centrally located, with plenty of restaurants right outside the hotel door. Stayed for four nights, and the room was everything we needed in a hotel. Efficient, clean, great price. We never ate breakfast there, it seemed overpriced and preferred grabbing a bite one the way. The air conditioning turned off one night, which made the room very stuffy, but when we told the front desk the next day, they quickly apologized and said it would be turned back on that morning. No explanation for the shutdown, but for the price I wasn't expecting perfection.

Basic hotel but clean and perfectly fine for weekend break. Staff friendly and helpful. Great Location for food and drinks.

This was probably one of the best, if not the best, Ibis Hotels we have stopped in. Centrally and ideally located the Reception staff were welcoming and helpful and the bedroom was immaculate.

Excellent location especially for the price. Parking convenient just have to drive down narrow street. Also the restaurants on Raday Utca are very solid, the best one for the price and food by far is Angelos! Going to Angelos is a Definite must! Aldas, bekesseg, Enjoy Budapest, very close to the Budapest Market less than 5 min walk, and less than 10 min walk to museum! and if you like Church, very famous Hungarian Reformed church right around the corner!

We stayed at the Ibis Budapest Centrum for 4 nights in early April 2012 and were very impressed by the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel but mostly by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The hotel is well located for the main sights of Gellert Hill, the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle, being approx 15 mins walk from Erzsebet Bridge (where the sightseeing cruises depart from). Being located on Utca Raday, there were plenty of eateries to choose from, though we would highly recommend the 'Pata Negra' Spanish Tapas Restaurant which is literally just around the corner. The only minus point for us was that the room was too warm and the air con didn't cool so we had to leave the window open. Apart from that, we would highly recommend this hotel for quality and value for money.

That is Ibis and you know what it will be. Anyway, good for staying here with its advantage of wonderful location.

This hotel is in a good location with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. It is also a short 10 minute walk to Ezerbet Square where we picked up the on/off bus for a great tour of the city. It is also a short walk to the Central Market and the Danube. The room is standard Ibis issue but it is roomy enough for comfortable stay while visiting Budapest. We had no problems while staying here.

This was our first experience with the Ibis chain and I look forward to staying in their other locations. Hotel was very close to a subway, though most places we wanted to go were within walking distance. Excellent wifi signal, nice staff at the front desk. Best of all.....about 40 restaurants are withink a couple of blocks.

Highly recommended. Great value for price. Location can't be beat.

This was a great hotel at a great price. It was located on restaurant row, so there were a lot of places to eat right outside our door. It was w/ in walking distance to a lot of things, and close to the metro. The hotel was very clean and nice and also had free wifi. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Right on the main dining street in Pest

I chose this hotel based on relatively good ratings and decent rates. During our stay, however, there were a few surprises that would prevent me from recommending this hotel to anyone. When we arrived, both my friend and I could have sworn that the concierge said continental breakfast was free every morning. We decided to take advantage of it during our three-day stay. Unfortunately, when we checked out, we were told that breakfast was 9.5 euros per person per day. We had little grounds for argument, given that the original concierge was not there that morning. With all the eateries around Raday Utca, there is no way we would have eaten their mediocre breakfast every morning for 9.5 pounds. It's absolutely ridiculous. My second (and probably most damning) complaint is that several bills somehow "disappeared" from my stash of reserved cash after stupidly leaving it in the hotel room. I had cashed about $125 czech korunas (it was where we were headed next), which was untouched while we were in Budapest. When we arrived in Prague, I dabbed into my stash only to find about $40 worth of korunas--2/3 of my money had disappeared, and the only reasonable explanation that I can find is dishonest housekeeping. I would avoid this hotel. Never again, Ibis. Never again.

Clean, friendly, and reasonable. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Ibis appears to have gone through a renovation recently and the rooms were crisp as a result. Very basic with wood floors, simple bathroom, small tv. But why would you be in your room while in Budapest. Price was good and neighborhood is great. Good food, cozy bars, close to metro, and low priced.

Kalvin Terin metroasema on parin minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Hotellin kadulla lisäksi paljon ruokaravintoloita. Siisti hotelli. Miinusta tulee siitä, että huone oli todella kostea (toukokuu) ja siivojat pitivät jonkin verran mekkalaa aamuisin. Aamupalaa ei tullut kokeiltua.

Hotellet låg helt perfekt, med massa resturanger precis utanför dörren. Frukosten på hotellet var också bra men dyr. 9.85 euro/pers och dag. Rekommenderar varmt detta hotellet !!

Jag och min sambo var på en weekend i Budapest och bodde på hotell Ibis Centrum. Hotellet är rent och har ett bra läge! Frukosten ingick inte i priset och var enligt min mening inget speciellt. Vi valde att äta frukost på en uteservering istället. Mycket mysigare! Utanför hotellet ligger många uteserveringar och tunnelbanestationen ligger nära. Det är också promenadavstånd till shoppinggatan och Saluhallen. Klart prisvärt hotell!

Hotellet har bra standard. Det ligger centralt och bra. God service. Rummen ganska små men helt Ok. Dock luktade det rök i korridor och rum men det blev bättre på rummet om AC-n var på. Vi hade bokat 4 rum med två sängar men fick dubbelsäng i alla 4. Eftersom vi var 4 par så var det helt ok men det kan vara bra att veta för andra att det kan bli så.

Ibis Budapest Centrum har perfekt beliggenhet for storbyferie. Gangavstand til meste inkludert shopping, severdigheter, restauranter, etc. Lite, men meget rent rom med gode senger. Det er litt lytt på rommet, så prøv å få rom mot bakgård. Meget servicevennlig betjening. Rett utenfor hotellet ligger en restaurantgate med billig mat og drikke. Kr. 13 for en halvliter er paradis for nordmenn!

Room is small but not bad to sleep at night and take a rest alone. The room was clean overall and shower room also. Free Wi-Fi access was provided, but it was too often disconnected. :(

Vanaf het Vliegveld met bus/ metro kom je op 200 meter van het hotel uit. Het hotel ligt in een autovrije straat met heel veel eetgelegenheden, voor ieder wat wils. Het hotel zelf heeft een nette moderne entree, met vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt meer dan voldoende keuze om de dag mee te beginnen. Verzorgde kamers voorzien vanairco, met goede bedden. Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding daarbij opgeteld de locatie maken dit een aanrader als uitvalsbasis voor een citytrip in een veelzijdige stad.

Med Ibis vet man vad man får. Lägg sen till ett riktigt centralt läge och ett bra pris. Rekommenderas!

Hôtel proche du centre ville et à proximité du grand marché couvert. Proche des stations tram et métro (ligne 3). Personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner cher (9€) pour la ville, mieux vaut aller dans un café à proximité. Bar sympa juste à coté de l'hôtel.

HOTEL TRES BIEN SITUE EN CENTRE VILLE,dans une rue semi pietonne disposant d'un large choix de restaurant.a deux pas du metro de trams et de bus et possibilite d'aller au centre touristique a pied.

Supert enkelt hotell midt i byen. Gåavstand til alt. Det er ikke spesielt fancy, men hotellet er rent og fint, og passet perfekt til en storbyhelg. Det skal sies at vi tilbrakte veldig lite tid på hotellet, men om du kun skal bruke det som "base" så passer det perfekt.

Ibis Budapest Centrum is a great hotel, close to centre of town. Metro station is just around the corner, along with shopping streets and more. Would definitely stay there at my next visit.

Hotel in posizione strategia, a sole 2 fermate di tram dalla piazza diciamo principale di budapest.. inoltre si trova nella via raday Utca, tradotto in via dei ristoranti, tipici ungheresi davvero ottimi sia per prezzo e qualità. Camera pulita, moderna, magari un pochino piccolina (il bagno). servizi in hotel molto buoni, peccato per wifi che spesso non funzionava. In ogni caso c'era a disposizione il pc nella hall gratis
