Riu Lupita All Inclusive - شاطئ كارمن

RIU Lupita was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for. It was clean with immaculate grounds. All staff members were full of smiles and always warm-welcoming. The dance show was Amazing! The food was surprisingly good; something we looked forward to every day. Our room was pretty nice, but the bathroom was super nice. We got our room cleaned almost everyday just so I could get the surprise of seeing the creative and beautiful job the cleaning person would do. She always made us a towel animal like a bunny, a duck, and a monkey. One day it was a very large doll that was about as big as a 4 year old! The day she made the monkey, she made it so the monkey was holding a hibiscus and she had left flower petals neatly arranged in a grid pattern all over the bed with the colorful top sheet pulled into a giant bow. It was amazing! I took pictures everyday! The bed, as other reviewers have said, was a little on the hard side, but honestly, we slept better than we had in a long time with not one complaint. In fact, we are due to get a new mattress and because of our ease of sleep at Lupita and a little recent back pain, we've decided to get a firm bed! Lupita was a bit of a walk from the shopping/touristy area of Playa del Carmen and the beach, but the bus that ran every 15min was very convenient. One night we got the last bus ride (6:45pm) to town to have dinner and shop knowing we'd have to walk home. It turned out to be quite pleasant because the night air was breezy and the surrounding neighborhood was clean and safe. It took us about 30min at a medium pace. During the day on our bus rides to the beach, we always saw families with small children and people exercising in the neighborhood. Lupita was a perfect location to get to the beach, shop, eat out, head off for a tour, or just lay by the pool! There were at least 2 pools (we never did walk the entire grounds to find out if there were more): one that had a pool party everyday at 11:30am and one that was smal

Nice, no luxury, but very cosy ALL INCLUSIVE resort Even if not by the beach, the transportation to Beach Club and Center of Playa del Carmen works perfectly (every 30 minutes). Three other Riu resorts are also available for your use, two of which by the beach. You can even have lunch at other Riu resorts, only dinner is limited to your own. Lots of activities by the pool area, but not too noisy. There is also a second pool, which is very quiet. Little Spa with massage and hair dresser was nice extra. First impression was a little ragged, but soon we felt very homely at Riu Lupita. Only weak point was, that contrary to Hotels.com information, there was no internet access in room, but WiFi in reception and pool area. Hotel staff (reception, chambermaids, activities etc.) were all very, very friendly, helpful and nice.

The RIU Lupita is part of the RIU Playacar resort. You get access to all resturants and bars at the RIU Tequilla, Playacar and Yucatan. Save your money and stay here use the savings to extend your stay.

Excellent relaxing 4 night break during a 3 week touring holiday in Mexico.Ideal facilities i.e. pools,palms and bars for a couple or families.

My review is of both the hotel as well as of hotels.com accuracy of info. First, let me set the picture: I was in Tulum, Mexico for a weeklong yoga and meditation retrea but had to evacuate the resort after 3 days due to a cat 2 hurricane that was heading directly to the area. It wasn't an option to get an earlier flight out of Mexico, so I quickly visited hotels.com looking for an option of where to stay knowing that I wasn't going to find the same peaceful environment of yoga and organic food that I was forced to evacuate from. So, I booked the remaining 4 ngihts at Riu Lupita in Playa del Carmen as it was the Riu resort furthest from the ocean (keeping in mind the hurricane approaching). One main reason I chose this hotel was because the hotels.com website showed the following room features: "Room details: 1 king bed, or 1 king bed and 1 bunk bed, or 2 double beds. Balcony or terrace. Satellite TV. Direct-dial phone. Wired (high-speed) Internet access - surcharge.", etc. In-room internet access was critical as I needed to conduct business every day for several hours in a private setting. Upon checking in, I was informed that NO rooms had internet access and my only internet accessible options were the restaurant and the lobby. Not appropriate when I needed to conduct business without people overseeing or overhearing. I inquired about relocating to another Riu resort (there are 6 on the property) but was informed by the manager they were all evacutating to Riu Lupita because of the hurricane so I had no choice but to keep my reservation or they would release my room to someone else. Fearful of having no place to stay, no rental car and the hurricane headed directly towards the coast of Cancun/Playa del Carmen, I agreed to the room. Upon being shown my room, it was dirty and I had to get relocated to another room. Now let me say that I have never been to an all-inclusive resort where there are 4 full size bottles of liquor mounted in the bathroom with taps on them

What I liked most was the peace and quiet and the excellent staff. The food was very good. Really it was all I´d hoped for and most. Sure, it wasn´t on the beach, but the shuttle every 30 minutes was convenient and it was very enjoyable having access to the Rius Yucatan, Tequila, and Playacar, each one different. I can´t wait to come back. If you are looking for more luxurious rooms, go to the others. But if you like tranquilidad, go to Riu Lupita.

This was an excellent experience. from the minute we walked in Antonio at teh front desk was wonderful and accomodating. he even told us to go eat before checking in becuase the restaurant was closing in 45 minutes. the room was perfect and the staff in general was great. we will difinitely stay here again and recommend the hotel as well.

Wij genoten voor de 5 de maal van de relakse sfeer ,de mooie ligging in de zeer verzorgde tuin en de "big smile" van de bediening. Jammer van de ondermaatse kwaliteit van het restaurant dat jaar op jaar achteruit boert!

El hotel es perfecto para aquellos viajeros que busquen descansar en un lugar tranquilo y muy bien atendido. Todos los empleados en el hotel son muy amables y siempre estarán dispuestos a ayudarte. La comida de éste hotel tambien me gustó bastante, comparado con el Riu Playacar su calidad es muy superior. En el bar que está abierto casi todo el día junto a la alberca los bartenders siempre te prepararán con gusto una rica y refrescante bebida. El lugar es excelente, las áreas de oportunidad que le veo al lugar son: El transporte hotel - playa del carmen - club de playa: Su último viaje es a las 18:30, para ir a la playa me parece bien pero para ir al pueblo no, considero que debería seguir circulando el camión hasta las 9 pm por lo menos para ir al pueblo. La comida del snack: A veces es muy grasosa y artificial, sobre todo las hamburguesas, consideren tener más variedad en el snack. Contactos eléctricos en el cuarto de hotel: En esto el Riu Lupita si le pongo reprobar, en pleno siglo XXI el cuarto de hotel solo tenia 1 contacto eléctrico, que puedo conectar con solo 1 contacto si traigo laptop, celular, iphone, etc etc, y luego si somos más en el cuarto? Deberian considerar agregar más sockets eléctricos a mi me hicieron mucha falta.

hyvä perushotelli, kuljetus rannalle ja melkein keskustaan puolentunnin välein. Ruoka Ok. Henkilökunta mukavaa.

Ett mycket fräscht hotell med fantastikt trevlig personal. Massa mat varje dag och fin service. Vi är inga all inclusive människor men fick en mycket bra deal på detta hotell och valde därför att bo där. Kan absolut rekommenderas om man gillar fart och mycket underhållning. Litet minus att det inte ligger vid stranden, men det går gratisbussar var 30e minut till kl 18.30, så det är helt okej! På stranden erbjuder dem mat och dryck från deras beachclub, givetvis gratis.

calme et sécurité assuré, la formule all inclusives est vraiment agréable, et complète (même les activités sur la plage comme le catamaran scooter des mers) le fait d avoir accès à plusieurs hotels rui en bord de plage permet de changer de cadre tous les jours. La navette pour aller à la plage est régulière et le trajet pas trop long. Le personnel est très souriant et compétent. Vacances agréables

Estuve en este hotel durante la primer semana de enero de 2012 y solo tengo buenos comentarios sobre dicha estadia gracias al excelente servicio del hotel. El personal que alli labora es muy amable y sevicial. Las instalaciones son muy agradables y la comida es muy varias, abundante y de buena calidad. Esta muy cerca del centro de Playa del Carmen y tiene un Beach Club que no es inferior a la calidad de sus servicios. Todo por un precio muy bajo en comparacion de otros All Inclusive.

we were upgraded to the Riu Playacar hotel. It is a very nice hotel and the people is nice. The breakfast is not the best meal during th eday, but it was enough for us. Just enjoy the beautiful beach and pools.

Fantástico!! La comida riquísima, al igual que los cocktails (a pesar de ser flojitos y con mucho hielo)

Sendo um dos mais pequenos Riu em playa del carmen, a oferta nas refeições principalmente ao jantar são reduzidas mas como se pode durante o dia frequentar os outros 3 Riu durante o dia não se sente tanto isso. O pessoal é muito simpático e sempre pronto a ajudar. A comida é boa, não sendo excelente e passado 5 dias acaba por ser mais do mesmo, mas escolher mexicano é sempre a melhor opção. Em termos de qualidade / preço recomendo mas se querem ficar mais perto da praia é melhor escolherem o Yucatan ou o Playacar.

Las veces que me he hospedado en Riu Lupita a sido de lo más encantador, me encanta!!! Solo que las habitaciones huelen mucho a humedad

Pesimo en recepcion, la limpieza de la habitacion muy lejos de un estandar de limpieza, preferencias muy marcadas y trato diferencial al extranjero con el nacional

Hôtel 5 étoiles normes locales, équivaut à un bon 3 étoiles en France. Ambiance francophone idéale pour un séjour en famille. Cependant pour un séjour romantique ou pour un service personnalisé voir haut de gamme, mieux vaut passer votre chemin. Points positifs : animations, calme du lieu, espace aquatique enfant dédié Points négatifs : choix de restauration un peu léger, infrastructures vieillissantes, plage à 3 kms en bus (toutes les 30 minutes), prestations de services insuffisantes.

De laatste 3 dagen van ons backpack-avontuur in Midden-Amerika brachten we door in Lupita. Een heerlijke plek met alleraardigste mensen! Wát een vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers zijn ietwat aan de ouderwetse kant, zeker geen 5 sterren, maar kraakhelder en ruim. Fijne airco, een bad en voldoende kastruimte. Elke dag schoonmaak en steeds voldoende badschuim e.d. aanwezig. Het kleine zwembad was lekker rustig, in het grote zwembad werden door het animatieteam steeds activiteiten uitgevoerd. In het laagseizoen hadden wij steeds een fijn bedje. Het eten was voortreffelijk en iedere avond had je met een ander thema steeds een andere keus! De bediening was ook prima, het restaurant gezellig en de drankjes heerlijk koud. RIU Lupita is echt een aanrader voor mensen die niet voor de allermooiste hotelkamers gaan, maar wel voor kwaliteit van eten en de service van het personeel. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!

No es como se muestra en las fotos , me he quedado en otros hoteles Riu y nada que ver con los otros en cuanto las habitaciones , porque el servicio y la Atencion son muy buenas .

We travel the world with a low budget, so this isn't the place we normally would stay, but we had the best time ever! The staff, the delisious food and drinks made us feel at home, even though we could not give big tips. We prolonged our 3 days stay up till three times! Thanks Lupita for a great time.

Wij zijn als backpackers die de wereld rondtrekken nou niet bepaald gewend aan het all inclusive concept. Het was dan ook even wennen, maar het personeel het heerlijke eten en drinken en alles er omheen deed ons heel snel thuis voelen. We blijven backpackers, maar wie weet in de toekomst nog eens een keertje. Alhoewel ik denk dat Riu Lupita wel uniek was.

Altamente recomendable, muy comodo, precio accesible, rica y variada comida, linda instalaciones tanto de las habitaciones como la pileta y bares, facilidad (transporte a cargo de Riu) para llegar al club de playa, acceso a los otros Riu.

Flott hotell med god service hele tiden fra du sjekker inn.Du blir møtt med smilende resepsjonarbeidere som alltid var tilgjengelig når du lurte på noe.Det samme skjedde når du gikk i baren så var det alltid et lite smil,rask service og gjerne en liten positiv kommentar på lur.Når du entret spisesalen så var det alltid bugnende buffeter og rikt utvalg av sunn og god mat.Spesielt frokosten med bland annnet 7 typer smoothies,frisk frukt av alle slag samt mye annet godt utvalg.Fisken var det eneste de kunne variert mer på for her var det ofte den samme fiskefileten hver dag.Servicen i spisesalen var det heller ikke noe å si på for her var de raske med å komme å spørre hva vi ville ha av drikke samt sjenket iskaldt vann til oss hele tiden.Med en gang maten var fortært så var de på plass og ryddet bordet.God underholdning hver kveld,men kunne bli litt vel mye høy musikk i bar området til tider.Flinke entertainere som sto på fra tidlig morgen til sene kvelden med alltid et smil og kommentar om hvordan vi hadde det.Nydelig oppredde senger med flotte brettede figurer på sengen hver dag og av og til friske blomster.Vi reiser gjerne tilbake dit.
