The stay was okay but the hotel needs alot of sprucing up...the front door needs painting !!!!

The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. Didn't realize that it had brown scum floating in the foam until we were in it for a bit. The chlorine was so strong it burned our eyes. I brought our wet towels to the front desk in exchange for dry towels and asked for extra and was told I could only have 1 extra towel. I thought that was rude and strange since the towels were the size of hand towels. I certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall the hotel was fine but most people that I spoke to in the hot tub were complaining that the pool was too cold.

room was good, walls thin, breakfast included and very good, pool was cool then warm then cool, hot tub was good then shut down. for price it was fine

I went with this hotel because they are the only one who have a jacuzzi suite that actual is a jacuzzi not a fancy bath tub. You can enjoy a two person soak with room and comfort to spare. This is one major problem with lots of other suites. The condition of the building is older but the pool area has been remodel and is big. The breakfast has variety but low quality like most. The do have the best bargin in town for place to stay.

Good value, clean rooms, with clean microwave and refrigerator, takes pets, good wireless connection. Very comfortable 3-night stay. Helpful staff. No complaints

AFfordable, convenient location helpful friendly staff. Great hot breakfast too.

Good parking. Good location. Very nice pool/hot tub area. Pet friendly $5/pet/night. Our 3rd stay there and will be back.

The hotel was okay not the best that I have been at. We stayed in the king suite when first running water for the hot tub it was not hot at all.

The rate comparing the hotel quality is too higher, dirty, the facility is older, we didn't stay even I reserved non-refundable if cancellation, and stayed Canad Inn, it is not lodge for vacation.

Location of this motel was central for us. Next to K-Mart and a few minutes to Columbia Mall & Gordmans. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was okay. Selection was waffles, cereal, toast, bagels & apples. I expected more of a selection like yogourts,muffins and a variety of fruits. Overall the stay was good.

The price was right The rooms are Spacious The staff was nice The breakfast was OK Good location The halls and pool area are a little chilly Overall it was fine.

Can't go wrong for the price

Good value and the free breakfast feature is an added bonus. This is a no frills hotel that is clean and comfortable.

Clean rooms and inexpensive...Would stay there again.

We just needed an inexpensive place to stay while visiting our son at UND. This wasn't the cheapest hotel I could find, neither was it the most expensive. In my opinion, this hotel isn't worth what I paid. The rooms were very outdated, bathroom was tiny, shower had only lukewarm water and very low pressure. Very low-quality toiletries. (Hard water + cheap soap = itchy skin.) Cheap, thin towels. In-room wireless internet wasn't working. When we asked for a cable, they were all given out. (Apparently the wireless wasn't working in several rooms.) The man working the front desk overnight was neither helpful nor friendly. Asking for anything was apparently an inconvenience to him. There's a bar next to the hotel. We could hear music coming from it until it closed for the night. So as not to be completely negative, I'll list a few positives: good cable selection, easy access to local businesses. I travel a lot and stay in hotels all over the country. I believe that mostly, you get what you pay for. In this case I overpaid by about $20.

We found this hotel to be centrally located. Some painting was going on outside, and the roof was being repaired, but it did not affect us at all. The breakfast was very good.

When registering - clerk took a few phone calls and processed our stay at the same time - very impersonal. If I hadn't registered through Hotel.com I would have left. Room clean but our box springs were ripped and mattresses old. Good breakfast. Rate cheap so you get what you pay for. We had to drive everywhere we wanted to go - nothing close by. EL

Nice place to stay. Close to K mart and a short drive to all the stores and Columbia Mall in Grand Forks. Decent breakfast and rooms were nice and clean. Nice size pool.

Staff were great. Were always eager to help. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Security was really bad. Side entrance all the wires were just sitting there. The door didn't lock, so anyone that wanted could just walk in. Our window would not lock from the inside and we were on the main floor. So anyone that wanted to get into our room from the outside could. We have been to the Travel Lodge in Fargo and thats where we will go next time. We did not feel safe and the Travel Lodge in Fargo had a better breakfast.

pool a little to cold

Stay there everytime we go down to Grand Forks. Lovely big rooms. Kids love the pool. Bit cool this time. Hot tub does wonders.

beds are old, the decor way out of date, but the room was clean and the customer service was exceptional

The staff were friendly and accommodating when asked for things.

the pool was very cold,had to get the manger to reset the hottub,towels should be in pool area instead of front desk too long to go get.breakfast was not good,very disapointed this time as i have stayed there often.will be staying elsewhere next time

Overall go experience no maid service provide during our two day stay that was OK but when I asked if the maid could take our garbage in room was told her chart was already put away for the day. We were having afternoon nap she woke us up to check our pillows.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. Comfy, super clean, wonderful pleasant staff. Would definintely stay here again!

WiFi wasn't working. Room was on 2nd floor right by pool entrance door (also used as exit door) so you could hear it constantly banging closed.

I stayed at the hotel for my daughters college orientation. I was a little ways away but only minutes in the summer. I was surprised at how modern and clean it was for the price. I would stay here anytime.

Stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was great. I think maybe they got new management and it has gone down hill. Our room stunk like smoke. The toilet wasn't cleaned. No one was ever at the front desk. Remodeling is well overdue.

Could have better pillows in the rooms. Other then that our stay was great. Will come again.

Very clean and good hotel. Good breakfast. Pool area is under repair but very accesible. Good hot tub. Family friendly.

We asked for our air conditoner to be fixed. Maintenace came and checked and they had to order a part. They never informed us of this and on the day of checkout i complained. They apologized and said that we should have opened our window, which we did but got woken up early in the morning because of people yelling below our window.

We have been there several times now, and it has been a favorite place to stay. The staff are very helpful there. The rooms I found to be spacious and comforable..and very well looked after. The continental breakfast has lots of options, and stayed open, even past the posted time limit. best of all, the rooms are very reasonable..bordering on cheap prices. The only drawback is that the pool area could utilize their space better, but otherwise, I find it to be a decent place to stay without spending a lot of money for a room.

Our recent stay at the Travelodge Grand Forks was great! It was very reasonably priced, the room was quite big with a min fridge and a microwave as well. The pool, jacuzzi area was nice as well. The staff was very cheerful and helpful.

I was unhappy i was not told the hot tub and sauna were out of order upon my arrival.this was a major reason we stayed plus having the windows open by the pool area all three nights was not good.the kids all have colds now.also they need to put towels in the pool area instead of front desk

Bed lumpy and flat pillows - not acceptable.

When we first arrived at the hotel we walked in and the front desk clerk was on the phone to someone, I believe a personal call. After a few minutes he looked at me and asked if he could help....I told him we had a reservation and he was quite short and rude. He took out the paperwork gave me the keys and sent us on a wild goose chase to find our room. He was no help at all. The hotel was decent for the price and fairly clean. They did not come and clean our room the next day while we were out. Also we were placed right near an exit and a bunch of young teenage kids there for a hockey tourney so they were in and out the door and yelling in the hall all night. Overall I wasnt extremely impressed and probably would not stay there again, even if it was cheap.
