Comfy, friendly and best pillows and beds we have slept in!

The staff were most friendly and helpful. The motel is very clean and well laid out. The room was spacious, well-appointed and the washroom was large. The adjsutable showerhead was fabulous. There were more than enough towels and they were clean and not worn out. There was a "sideboard" that housed the refrigerator, the microwave and the coffee goods. The beds were very comfortable. We did not use the pool but it looked very inviting. The breakfast was more than enough in size and variety and everything was fresh. We would definitely stay at this Lakeview Inn and Motel again and we will definitely look up the hotels on the brochure as we travel across Canada.

Had the best sleep ever!!

Loved Peggy's Cove (lighthouse) in Halifax. The hotel was concenient and the staff very coutesous and friendly.

Lakeview Inn and Suites is a fabulous place to stay. highly recommend it!!!!!!!!

We were very impressed with our stay at the lakeview inn and suites. Would definitely recommend it to anybody.

It was comfortable and convenient with a few fast-foods and one restaurant nearby. Air conditioning was a bit noisy and hard to understand.

We only stayed one night which was as well as the hotel is located outside the city area, so not convenient for tourist attractions, but certainly convenient for shopping as the main "chain" stores are located nearby, Costco, Winners, Henrys, Reitman's etc. No good restaurants to be found here though so that a definite negative. Complimentary breakfast wasn't outstanding, but O.K. with a choice of cereals, muffins, bagels, hot sausages, scrambled egg and bacon.The room was clean and comfortable and laundry facilities at the hotel useful!

Although it doesn't seem like a very good location...Halifax downtown is 15 minutes..Peggys Cove 40 minutes..main highways are right around the hotel but you cannot hear them. Yes it's on the edge of a Business Park but that's okay. The rooms are large and clean..complete with a fridge...microwave and a sink...all the big name stores including Superstore and Walmart are on the same street....hotel staff were friendly..breakfast was okay...pool although small was clean...free videos are available. Oh and free parking!! Yes we enjoyed our stay...we hope you do too!!

great hotel , close to some good stores the front desk was great help for map and directions very friendly well be back next time in halifax

I got a really good rate and was very satisfied with Lakeview Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool looked fun...we forgot our suits. We enjoyed the extensive continental breakfast, not just sweet rolls! The rooms were clean and I was impressed with the conservation effort that the hotel had adopted.I would definately recommend this inn.

This is a basic hotel but was very comfortable for the 4 nights I stayed. There is a fridge and microwave in the room and a decent continental breakfast. There is nothing luxurious and some things are a bit worn and outdated... decor, carpets, bathroom, etc but it was clean and the price was very reasonable.

MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE QUITE PLEASED, THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN THE BEDS WERE REALLY NICE AND THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. IT IS A BIT FAR FROM DOWNTOWN BUT STILL I ENJOYED MY STAY

For a business traveller or one passing through quickly on the highway, the Lakeview Inn and Suites rates among the top options in the Halifax area. But a tourist can get as much Nova Scotia flavour along Route 44 outside Oklahoma City. This is a clean, well-maintained hotel with good but limited facilities. Our suite was small, with an extremely comfortable bed and fairly uncomfortable sofa bed, so if you're staying with a colleague, draw straws. Despite the romantic name and street address, the Lakeview is located on the ring road of the Bayers Lake office-industrial park west of Halifax, just off Highway 103. If you have business in the neighbourhood, that location is ideal. The road also hosts a large commercial strip with many chain stores, elaborate fast-food emporiums (the McDonald's boasts a marquee) and just adequate sit-down restaurants. Despite its proximity to the highway, our room was very quiet, possibly helped by the HVAC white noise. While lodgings in the Halifax area are somewhat more expensive than elsewhere in Nova Scotia, the Lakeview is cheaper than the major downtown hotels. But if you've come to see the sights, the only ones you'll see here are depressing: warehouses, parking lots and traffic. Four stars for business; two for tourists.

Was very surprised at how nice this hotel was. Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this hotel was for the price. They pay good attention to detail and were very friendly and helpful. Glad they have laundry facilities.

Pleasantly surprised - this hotel bested others with higher profiles. Would definitely stay again.

Had a good stay,only I would perfer to stay in the back of the building as being in the front there was a lot of highway noise

Enjoyed our stay- room was comfortable- very clean. Would like breakfast to extend till 10 am during the summer. Good rates. Great service.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Inn. As soon as we arrived we had a easy time checking in, and everything we needed was close at hand. The staff are friendly, and always seem willing to help you with any question! The room itself had a very comfortable bed, large TV, huge bathroom, robes, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and more. The pool and laundry are both small. The free computer/internet service avaliable was a huge plus. The breakfast had a lot of different choices for a continental breakfast. A Tim Hortons/Wendys is right in the same parking lot...so if you need a late night snack its avaliable! The Inn is right off a busy highway, but even though our room was closest to the road we never had any noise problems. The Inn was easy to get to from the airport. Renting a car is a must when visiting Nova Scotia...the downtown, parks, attractions, and harbour are about 15-20min drive away. We would certainly recommend this small Inn to our friends...and when visiting Halifax again this is where we'll be staying!

overall the experience was great only displeasure the pool was too small and cold. front desk staff could have been a little more pleasant .they were not the friendliest but aside from that we liked the hotel and would stay there again

Hotel is fairly new and well kept. Access to hotel site is excellent and convenient to everything in Halifax. Helpful staff and clean rooms, good value for the money.

I love staying at the Lakeview. It is a close drive to all the stores , the movie theatre, and restaurants at Bayers Lake. Staff are always helpful and very nice. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night!! One of my favorites things is that from 10 pm-11 pm the pool is only open to Age 16+, so the kiddies can swim and have fun all day and we adults get a quiet hour at the end of the day. We will be back soon I hope!!

This hotel is very clean, the king size beds are very comfortable, the pool is nice with an enclosed patio attached. A nice continental breakfast. The service was good--we would certainly return in the future.

Nice hotel - nice room however air conditioner could not keep the room to a comfortable level. It appeared that there was a cut off on compressor - room would not stay before 22 Deg C

Check in was a breeze, the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great!
