Good value for money. Everything you need is provided rooms are clean, Internet airport shuttle service, room service...

Room is clean and decent size than other hk hotels. 5mins to mtr and shopping districts. Direct bus service from airport however it is better to take taxis(just 20 to 70hk dollars more) than airport express. Pls look out for taxis with driver details at the front of taxi if not do not take cos we got conned by a taxi driver going to airport. He did not hv taxi driver details in the front. We overlooked it. The driver switch off the meter once we arrive at airport and wanted to take $400hk from us. The ride cost abt $275. After some arguement, we settle for $300hk. Pls be careful on the taxi drivers Other than this, it is a nice country.

Hi the location is very good , easily accessable to all parts of Hong kOng but the room size is too small for 2 pax. Moreover the mattress is very old and hard could not get a good sleep. Unless they change the bed and mattress I fear it will chase customers away.

close to prince edward mtr station. the hotel is basic enough for a comfortable stay. will go back if im heading back to hong kong for a holiday.

the walls were like paper. we did change a room couple of times, for many different reasons. nothing was working. food was good and location was ok. next time i will book another hotel.

Just outside of the Prince Edward metro, subway transportation is easy. Rooms were small (to be expected), but the bed was like sleeping on my pool table! Internet was wired (free), wireless (surcharge). Speeds were decent enough.

The hotel is well located, the airbus stop (from airport) just right in front of the hotel. However when u are going to airport you need to walk 15 minute to the next bus stop as it is on the other side of the road. Thus it cause some inconvenience when u have a big langguage

stayed there for 6 nights, very comfortable, excellent staff / services, free internet. walking distance to several fun markets and underground stations.

Good location, clean hotel, good security in the hotel, enough staff at the fornt desk, bell desk helpfull, Good cleaning in the rooms.wired internet in the room for free but needs wiresless too free of charge. Only one sofa in the lobby for the hotel guests. It is for 3 persons. Needs more sitting places in the lobby for the guests. ( You can move 2 info desks on the other side of reception and make a nice corner there for the guests). I will give 4 out of 5 stars. Keep up good work!

great location and good services , prize affordable

I would not stay at this hotel again for 4 reasons: 1. The beds were so hard I had bruises on my legs after the 2nd night. 2. There was only one outlet guests could use in the entire room. 3. The internet connection was very old-school -- no wi-fi available. 4. The neighborhood was crowded, not very Western-friendly, and had a distinctly unpleasant odor. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to other Westerners due to the lack of comfort and convenience.

I have been staying in this hotel for the 3rd time. The main thing i like about this hotel is that its very close to an MTR, just a 5 mins walk and i am at the MTR of Prince Edward.

I love the location of Metropark Hotel Mongkok cos it's near mongkok and taizhi metro station.... The staffs are nice too and housekeeeping was great...

I don't know about other rooms in this hotel, but my room was very small. Not the smallest I've stayed in in Hong Kong, but one of the smaller. Couldn't have my luggage out of the closet and still get to the bed small. They put me in a room right by the elevator shaft. So all night I got to hear banging doors from something (?) and every time the 3rd floor restaurant started cooking or room service came up I could smell the food in my room. Bathroom was a bit of a mess. But for the price, it was as expected. Included internet was speedy and appreciated. There are better hotels for a similar price however.

This is the hotel that I always stay at when in Hong Kong. Its convenience to the MTR, city buses, and buses to China make it worth the visit. The rooms vary in size. I stayed in a room with my family (4 people) and it was unbearably cramped the first time when we had a small room. However, we had a bigger room the second time and it was definitely enough room. The beds are stiff and the rooms are not the cleanest (my sinuses were congested every time I was in my room). The neighborhood is busy and has everything you may need, except for a decent restaurant. It is within walking distance to Mongkok and the famous Ladies market as well as the busy streets of Sham Shui Po. It's not a five star hotel, but I will probably stay here again whenever I return to HK.

We stayed for 3 nights. Great value with great location, near all the amenities,ie. 7-11, supermarket, restaurants, mtr station and shopping places. The service staffs and room cleaners are friendly and polite. The room is basic and small but adequate for us, clean and tidy too.

Since we cannot list specific rates I will say I paid alot for a hotel that could be compared to a super8 motel in the US. Granted all the hotels at christmas time are expensive in Hong Kong, dare I say outrageous in price. This hotel is rumpty and old, but clean and the staff were nice. It wasnt a bad experience but wildly overpriced.

We stayed in this hotel since we could don't find any alternative in hong kong from December 13 for 3 nights. We paid very high price for a small room and in the absence of basic facility in the hotel it is considered not worthy. I advise any travelers to look for more decent choice against the value paid if you book ahead of time. Staff below average and totally not flexible when we asked for extension of 1 day !!

The hotel is so fantastic that you can go anywhere so easily, it is located near LRT and the transportation is superb. The room is small but quite clean and user-friendly. The staff is informative and approachable.

It is a very convenient hotel that is near to MTR/train station and near to eating and shopping places. The hotel reception staff and the room cleaners are very polite and attend to my requirement very immediate, even though it is late at night.

this is my second time staying at metropark, i find it weird that not every room provide a safe and when i ask to change room i was turn down.

Located in Mongkok district and next to Prince Edward MTR, travellers can commute back and forth without the hassle of carrying heavy shopping bags and walking long distances. It is probably the most convenient and easy to find for this price. Taxi drivers are familiar with this hotek and buses also present as a convenient alternative transportation. Many eateries are located nearby. Service staff are friendly as well. On the flip side, the room and toilet do not look new (though clean) and the bed mattress is hard. It is also not a shopping area itself.

Going to the hotel from the airport is easy. Take bus A21 from the airport bus interchange and you will reach the hotel door step. Save money on transportation and train rides. Convenient location, located 5 minutes walking distance to Prince Edward MTR Station where you can access to other parts of Hong Kong. If you plan to go to Shenzhen, just walk about 10 minutes to Mongkok East Train station. It's about 40 minutes train ride to Lo wu where you can walk across through the custom to Shenzhen. Going to the airport is easy. Just go over counter to ask for Airport Shuttle service. Cost per person is HK$100. Ferry you right to the departure terminal that you want. Takes about 30 minutes to reach the airport from the hotel. If there are more pick up points, the time will delay, but maximum time take to the airport as stated on the board is 90 minutes. My trip took 30 minutes because there were only two pick up points from hotel.

Overall a great hotel. The room was a little small but clean. The staff was helpful and it was located within a block from a bustling marketplace and metro station. A little bit away from the main markets like the "night & ladies" market listed in tourist books but nonetheless not bad.

Pretty good location. Next to MTR station, 7Eleven, McDonalds, Ladies Market. Shower wasn't the greatest. Low water pressure. Had a small bakery which was convenient and was able to book a bus to the airport no problem. Had trouble with ordering a movie, but was refunded immediately.

This hotel doesn't reply to email enquiry. I followed the hotel webpage to obtain their email address but they don't seem to respond to emails. During my stay, the aircon and refrigerator's motor were pretty noisy. After a check by their maintainance team, apparently they cldn't solve the problem, hence they offered me another room just for the night to sleep but my luggage were still in the 1st room. I was given another room the next day. The managers of the hotel attended to my issue personally. As the duty manager for every night is different but the next manager on duty was well-briefed about my issue. I'm pleased with the service provided by the hotel in taking care of customer's needs.

OUR DOUBLE BED WAS TOO SOFT WE WISH THEY WILL PROVIDE COFFEE AS WELL AS TEA DRINKING WATER IN BOTTLE SHOULD BE FREE FOR 1ST DAY

Budget hotel that is totally value for money. Clean, pretty spacious and cosy decor. Location is good as well, near the subway station. One small complaint will be that the beds are a tad too hard and I can feel the springs. Otherwise, really enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is near mtr and very accessible.

Excellent location at affordable prices for budget vacation. Only about 5 mins walk to MRT entrance C2. A nice 24hr cafe serving cheap and delicious local food. If you walk to Pioneer shopping centre(5mins across the street), a good chinese restaurant serving very affordable and quality food!(5th storey). About 5 mins walk...you get to visit a street selling aquarium fish/pets/shoes at wholesale prices/street food..... It is so convenient that i can walk to many of the places i wanna go. Only setback is the bed, is indeed 'hard'.

Housekeeping and bell services were very good and polite. However the room had smoke smell even though it was a non-smoking level/room. The twin beds were slightly hard, not for people who are used to soft bed. Safe box was not in the room but at the recep. Water pressure and temperature were great.

my check in at 26-28april2011 with my family and 2young children goes well, i book a deluxe room, which is clean and comfort, there are 1 restaurant & Dim Sum beside the hotel with 24hour services.taste good and value for money.. the staff friendly and the hotel is clean. internet acsess at room. anyway,this is a Nice Hotel and value for money. for location,the hotel near to many atraction., ladies market, food , etc. I like this hotel.

It is very convenient, just 3-5 min walk from Prince Edward MTR station (which is also an interchange station). Also, it is near Ladies' Market, where you can find lots of things there ranging from T-shirts to card games and more. There are eateries opposite the hotel which are opened 24 hours so you can grab a bite anytime if you are feeling hungry. There are also convenience stores like 7-11 opposite. The room is quite small, considering that I booked the superior one. Also, there isn't an in-house safe provided so I had to bring my passport around with me. The channels provided in the TV are also limited, with no English/international channels. However, the hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Location of hotel is very convenient. It's near to Prince Edward MTR. And walking distance to shopping area.

For the price , I will recommend that this is a good location for easy assess to all the shopping Belt in Hong Kong

I had stay this hotel the 2nd time.location was good n place is clean for what u pay for.but the counter staff a young man is rude n did not want to help out. Overrall a nice place to stay for the price

Close to subway station. Airport bus 21A stops infront of hotel for HK$33. Abundant local eateries nearby. Hotel buffets are excellent and well worth the charge. Beds are stiff tho customary by HK standards. For a 3 star lodging, I would recommend it.

This hotel is very convenient for travelers who are taking a bus to many cities in the Guangdong province in China. Bus companies are outside the hotel. Hotel Staff is helpful and pleasant.
