Excellent room for London.. Bigger than most 4 stars. They brought me a fridge for my meds. Very comfortable beds and low noise.

Great location, lovely, friendly, knowledgeable Lithuanian bar keep, but an absolute zero on the restaurant - service is terribly slow and the change of menu doesn't seem to have attracted anyone! That said, the downstairs bar is OK, and the barmaid is unreal.

Booked the hotel for my parents and Uncle and aunt! Found ourselves in the smallest available room. A call at 11pm at the night to the room to clear a cheque of £4 for ice. Constantly had to call room service to replace basic toiletries and tea & coffee in the room. Not entirely Happy with service!

The hotwl is great. Well situated, modern, clean. But I booked a superior room and it was a bit small and close to the air system outside so there was some noise at night

We were looking for a romantic hotel in Bloomsbury, and this hotel was perfect. Elegant, refined with tons of attention to every detail. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was new and well stocked. The staff is fantastic. For example, one of the nights we were staying the TV was not working properly. Within 10 minutes they opened a nearby room for us to use (together with the original one) for the rest of the stay (and added free breakfast in bed!). Our room was on the small side, but it was what we expected for London, so it was perfect for us.

beautiful hotel only down was the noisiest air conditioning ever and maids hoovering before nine in the morning maybe we were unlucky overall very pleasure !

We decided to stay at this perfectly located hotel in the heart of central London for a special wedding anniversary treat. It was perfect in every way, from the hot face towels upon arrival to the complimentary cocktails later that evening. We were made to feel special and that nothing was a problem. Very warm and friendly staff from the reception to the bar, including the facilities guy who helped me with our room TV control. I had also forgotten to wear a compulsory diner jacket to Michel Roux, Le Gavroche, a member of staff kindly retrieved it from our room and was in waiting when we pulled up in our cab for a round trip back to the restaurant : ) The room was decorated and furnished to a very high and modern standard, spotlessly clean. Breakfast in bed was divine and perfectly cooked. Many thanks to The Bloomsbury and their staff for an amazing stay. The room rate through Hotel.com was just great and now that we have stayed superb value for money.

A lovely hotel in an ideal location for Covent Garden etc. There was a bit of noise heard from my neighbours (on both sides) and I did have to turn the fridge off before I went to sleep, but other than this I could not fault the stay - very comfortable beds and excellent service from hotel staff.

Very helpful and serviceminded staff. Great location, close to Soho and shopping at Oxford street as well as communications. Not all rooms are great, so if you are not happy, try to change room.

The room was quite small, but otherwise the standard was good. Great breakfast buffet. Short walking distance to Oxford street, Regents street, New Bond street. The elevator was out of order during our stay.

This is a simple hotel, with high quality service - the rooms / beds / linens aren't fancy, but when you walk in and get instant free wifi, and electric outlets to match every continent guests may come from, that's pretty amazing! I get to travel to a lot of 5 star name brand hotels, and while this lovely neighborhood hotel doesn't have 500 thread count sheets, pillow top mattresses or fluffy towels, it has great service, clean facilities, nice amenities and is located so perfectly for a quick visit. We were in London for only 40 hours total and needed to have quick access to food, tourism, and the airport - Bloomsbury met all our needs.... oh and we didn't spend a fortune!

My husband and I checked into this hotel for a sightseeing weekend on a friday afternoon.We picked this from the internet because of the photos of the gorgeous rooms,however our room was considerably smaller than we imagined,but still very nice.The hotel is unbelievably warm constantly so the aircon was a godsend.We had a meal in the restaurant which was steak and chips and a glass of wine for £15 each.We thought this was extremely reasonable and opted for this.We werent disappointed,it was one of the tastiest steaks I have ever had! I would definately recommend this hotel and their restaurant.There was only one bathrobe in our room,which seemed odd but the toiletries in the bathroom were of a good quality.The staff were very professional and helpful and given the oppurtunity I would stay here again.A good central location for covent garden and oxford street.

Generally a nice hotel, beautiful lobby and rooms, although they are rather small with no closet apart from a few cloth hangers, and this was an executive/deluxe room. The aircondition made heavy noices at times. Otherwise nice breakfast, nice location, pretty quiet (as far as this is possible in the middle of London) and friendly staff.

Convenient and classy hotel at a good rate. Welcoming polite staff which is usually a good sign. We mentioned a problem with the air con which was fixed while we were out. Some nice touches and only one tiny complaint - there is a gap where the shower door doesn't fit properly which could easily be remedied to avoid a wet floor. All said I would happily return to this hotel where the room was quiet and comfortable and wish I'd more time to use the other amenities.

Everything was ok but the bed was terrible.the matress was in very bad condition

The hotel is ideally situated for travelling around the West End of London. Also central to getting to main Line Stations.

Excellent location for theatres, Covent Garden and good restaurants. The gleaming brass and polished floors when you enter are beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is quiet and smells great, with a refreshing herbal scent wafted throughout the corridors, and nice toiletry products. Staff are efficient and helpful, rooms clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, if a tad small by North American standards. In close walking proximity to the British Museum -2 min, theatres -15 min, tube station -5 min. With lots of options in the area, we didn't eat at the hotel, but their breakfast buffet looked appealing. We would definitely stay again.

Very Attractive hotel, in a nice area and close to tube and bus, the quality of furnishing and docor was lovely and the ambience very welcoming, the only slight critism I would have was the room was a bit on the small side, but was very comfortable, I would stay there again and wouldrecommend it.

Lovely welcoming Hotel. Clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Fairly central to must see sights and close to train stations. Would definately stay again.

There was a nice welcome drink which was very refreshing. Reception was very pleasant, but not clearly visible from the entrance door. The doorman didn't point me in the right direction, for which he apologised. The trainee receptionist was pleasant and welcoming but her English was a little strange. The room was comfortable, with tea and coffee included, but the tray was nowhere near a socket! Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Nice fluffy towels. TV a bit weird, but sufficient for my needs. However, I thought the hotel was a little expensive especially as breakfast was not included. If it had been I would have been thrilled with the hotel overall.

The Hotel decor and services were stunning, but it was the quality and genuine friendliness and professionalism of all the staff that made the stay memorable. Very convenient to all London central activities and transport. Small issues (safe repair) were dealt with promptly and efficiently. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe comfortable and welcome.

Very nice hotel with very good location. The rooms were very nice and there is free wi-fi which is a plus. The breakfast was kind of expensive but pretty abundant. Would stay here again

Lovely hotel in a quieter area of SOHO. Great location close to tottenham court road tube station, Oxford street and restaurants in Charlotte street. Staff very accommodating, particularly concierge service who couldn't do enough for you. Also arranged a temporary room when i arrived before check in. Good value as well, so I would definitely come back.

The room we stayed in could not be classed as superior as it was very small

The first moment we entered the room , a Standard Double room, we were amazed by the look and modern / chik design of the room. However, when we tried to fit our baggages - 2 medium suitcase, we have no space to move around. The room was far too small for 2 persons, for 1 person, it will be fine. The neighbour is really quiet, there are Sainbury and a Starbucks around the corner, that's is. The location of the hotel is not convenient, the walk to Covent Garden area is quite confusing, and we did not feel comfortable to walk back to the hotel at night. The lobby is big and grand. The service was good.

Hotel conditions is good, with terrific lobby, but the neighbourhood is not favourable. The walk to Covent Garden can be quite confusing and inconvenient. We booked a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room.

Hotel is pretty nice and updated. There is a nice exercise facility in the hotel which is not easy to find in London. The Landseer Restaurant is pretty good(had breakfast and room service dinner). One negative was low water pressure in the shower.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellant service. We were made very welcome and would highly recommend it.

Couldn't have asked for a better hotel.The staff were friendly. The rooms clean. The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. Brilliant!! I play on staying there again when I go to London next. Very pleased with this hotel :) P.S. It had heated floors in the bathroom and great water pressure...I just love that in a hotel!

The hotel is perfectly situated for Oxford Street and is just a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court tube station. The hotel itself is fabulous. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable with excellent facilities.

Friendly Staff,great location, some basics missing like washclothes and hand soap

This is the second time I've stayed at The Bloomsbury. Both times I've had extremely comfortable rooms, good amenities and my favorite part... the location. it is a little off the main streets, but extremely close to the tube, as well as an easy walk to the West End/Soho.

Hotel was clean and modern but I wasn't very impressed with the room size, this was because the laundry shoot was basically in our room! The room facitities were also fairly basic - the coffee machine didnt work and the mini bar was that noisy we had to turn it off. Another negative was the astronomical price of the breakfast, luckily there is a cafe opposite and plenty of other places to get breakfast for quarter of the price! The main plus point with this hotel is the location, if you want to be near Oxford Street, west end covent garden, soho etc. I would recommend this hotel and would probably stop there again simply because of the great location.

I got the basic room which was suprisingly small. I had some issues with the television, (no signal) and they upgraded me to a larger room which was quite lovely. I would recommend paying a few extra pounds for the larger room as it's a big difference in size.

Great place to stay. Very central. Rooms are a bit small - but well, thats normal for London, isnt it? Very clean room. Free internet. Nice bar. Gym. What else do you want? Air-conditioning/heating a bit noisy.

Great hotel. Close to Tottenham Court Station. Good location if you want to shop for electronic equipment, furniture and household items. Very close to the British Museum. Staff in hotel is friendly and helpful.

Having stayed at this hotel before, I was impressed with the refurb which reveals a fresher, more modern decor and a more luxurious feel. The room was a decent size and the location is good. Didn't bother with breakfast and who would for £15-21? But all the public spaces seemed nice and although the hotel is not cheap, it offers a high standard without spending silly money. Will be back for sure.
