It was a good stay. Nothing fancy but did the job. Lady at the front desk upon check in was awesome. Great personality along with being very helpful and great conversation. The morning person in charge of the breakfast was very rude. I walked by the room for the breakfast, which I think starts late at 6:30am as most people are up and gone by then, and there was a hotel guest in there at 6:20am and he was grabbing a pastry and drink. So I walked in and started to grab a pastry and an apple to go and the guy came out of the back room and very rudly confronted me saynig the breakfast did not start for another 10 minutes. I said that the other person was getting something and just wanted a quick couple of items for the road. He said the other person "asked nicely" and I allowed him to and that you didnt so put it back. Very rude mannered and confrontational!!!!

Cheap, no frills hotel. A little old, could stand some new carpet. Wi-fi seemed kinda slow. Close to lots of food options, and easy access to freeway. Staff was very nice.

It was just a place to stay for the night en route to our final destination, but in hindsight I wish I had paid a little more to stay at a higher quality hotel. The whole hallway and the inside of our room smelled like cigarette smoke. The very sweet and helpful woman who checked us in sprayed an air freshener in the hallway that only made it worse. Tried sleeping with the window open but the traffic noise was too loud. I woke up with a headache because of the smoky smell. Breakfast was very low budget. On the plus side, the people working there were all very kind and well-meaning.

Front desk lady was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was so-so even comparing at same cost hotels. The room was good and spacious. This is not a non-smoking hotel, and you can tell; the smell of smoke and stale cigarettes lingers in the halls. The area is a bit iffy. I would for sure not recommend this hotel if traveling with children. Just needing a bed for a night it's ok.

Hotel is in great area rooms are nice and clean services is great room rate is good too what else can I ask for.

Good value. Nice to have mini fridg and microwave. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.

very good hotel to stay in. great location great room rates. restaurants and convinient stores are close by am happy the way i was welcome when i checked in made my stay easy i needed some directions to a super walmart close to the hotel the directions i was given were nice and clear thank you for making my stay nice and easy . keep up the good work!

Upon check in, the desk clerk was unavailable and after about 5 minutes the housekeeping staff located him. As soon as we were checked in, he disappeared down the hallway again. Rebecca, on the other hand was excellent! Her customer service skills were phenomenal which is a rare quality these days. She is a keeper and deserves a raise!

Am very happy on my stay.rooms were nice and clean the recepcionist was really nice maid me feel like I was at home she answeared my question and amid my check in really fast and easy. Thank you

A pretty nice motel for the price.

The room was not cleaned well; there were cigarette ashes in various locations and burns on the bed spread; the waffle maker did not work and the staff member seemed inconvenienced when we asked for his help; there was a cover plate missing on an electrical outlet; the hotel is is need of general upgrading.

Super nice man working at the front!! AMAZING continental breakfast with make your own fresh waffles, fresh coffee, toast, cinnamon buns and much more! Sure its not a 5 star hotel, but we got a clean room, great food, convenient location all for more then half of what it would of cost to stay downtown!

Reception clerk was great..friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Stayed at Roadway Inn Gresham, terrible place so we moved to this place a couple blocks away. Same price MUCH nicer hotel. Highly recommended. A block from a lite-rail metro line that runs everywhere. Great home base for exploring, etc. Very good deal for the $$ spent. A+ in my book!

Front staff was a great gal checking me in. Very helpful and great personality!! Clean room and comfortable. Just what I was looking for. I was in town for two days of work with no rental car and near a Max Train line. I was able to take the light rail out there and get off and walk a half of block to hotel and stay. The person helped me figure out my return ride in the morning. I will be staying there again in the future.

About what I expected for a super 8 motel, stay away from the rooms next to the road, a lot of road noise. The front office person Becky was very nice and very helpful!

There wasn't anything special about it, but there isn't much to complain about either. The breakfast was good, pretty standard. The sheets had a lot of stains on them though..we brought our own anyway so it wasn't a big deal to us. My one issue though is that there are smoking and non smoking rooms next to each other so even if your room is non smoking, you still smell it in the hallways and in your room. They should keep all the smoking rooms upstairs and the non smoking ones downstairs. The staff was really nice and I would stay there again. It wasn't too far of a drive to get to everything we wanted to do. All in all, it wasn't bad for a one night stay. If I were to stay for a week however, I would probably choose something a little nicer.

It was perfect for what we needed.

Our stay was quite pleasant. However, we were not pleased with the fact that our reserved hotel room was not available at check in because the air conditioner broke down and they were not able to accomodate us with another room on that floor. We were given another room downstairs by the ice machine which was one of our requests that we NOT be placed near an ice machine or elevator (there were no elevators). They told us we could upgrade to another room upstairs for an extra $10/night. This was rectified when the manager told the desk clerk that we could be given an upgrade without an extra charge. Overall, the service was good and the complimentary breakfast was quite adequate. There was a slight smoky odour at the end of our hallway because the smoking rooms were located in that area.

Our room upon arrival was hot took about 3hours to cool down. The hallways had a smoke smell everything else was fine for a cheap hotel

The girl at the desk was very helpful and went above and beyond in helping us find a place the kids could swim since they don't have a pool. The room was clean except for something gross on the wall by the window that had been missed in the cleaning, but it would have been easy to miss. The breakfast was great, but the poor guy at the desk had a hard time keeping up with breakfast and running the desk at the same time. He was quick to refill things though when he was made aware. He was working hard. These things were minor so we still rate it 4 our of 5.

The best facility provided is the hot tub. After a full day of travel and activities what could be better is to relax in the hot tub. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit tight. Breakfast was alright, with only 3 tables. So have to wait for awhile since everyone was waiting. It was a good stay.

We were looking for a location close to our daughter's house that was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised! We also got a continental breakfast with our rate and it included waffles, which was a plus.

Well the guy was kinda rude to me amd my family. And they charged my card for no reason. Plus i asked him to keep the room for a little longer which would have m

I was not generally in favor of staying at a Super 8 but price and location won out this trip. The property was very clean and presentable.

Good for the price

For the cost this is a good option. Staff is great, hotel clean and breakfast being included saves time and money on a trip. Best part is being under 1 block from the Max stop!...we left the car behind for the day and took the train into downtown Portland..rode all day for under $5.00.

Upon entry to the room, we turned on a bedside lamp and were surprised to see an adult bedbug crawling on the wall at the headboard.

The outstanding aspect of this motel is the staff: all cheerful, friendly and helpful. Another great feature: it's a straight shot from the airport, over major streets, but without having to use a freeway. Yet it's far enough from the airport to avoid airport noise.

The folks at Super 8 Gresham are unfailingly friendly and helpful. It's obvious that they care about what they're doing.

Wireless Internet did not work, breakfast very limited, condition and cleanliness of rooms just ok. Could do better for the same cost elsewhere.

Despite other bad reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Good price, clean and easy access. I have no complaints.

All towels were dirty, you cloud hear the traffic all day round, I could not have a good sleep, and I had to go and buy a towel to take a bath.

Not bad for the price although the hallways do smell like smoke covered up very heavily by a perfumed carpet powder. Room was quiet and clean and the access to the hotel very easy.

The staff was helpful and the place was clean. My only problem was that the heater in the room didn't work well. We had to keep tweeking the knobs to keep the heat on. Other than that we had no complaints.
