Very happy wirh stay

We were performing at the Oxford Folk weekend and it was great to be able to come back to a relatively tranquil area for R & R after the hustle and bustle of performing in the city centre locations. Lovely hotel and perfectly placed for the park and ride!

A perfect place to stay to be able to get into the centre of Oxford and enjoy the beautiful buildings etc. Unfortunately spoiled on a personal note as staff were unable to deliver flowers from my daughter to my hotel room or supply flutes to drink the champagne in my room until asked twice! I only found out about the flowers when I had returned home! A Birthday ruined. Hopefully lessons will have been learned.

Hotel location was near park and ride so made it the ideal location for getting into the City centre speedily. The Hotel and room was very clean and staff friendly.

We visited our son who's attending Oxford University. This hotel is near a bus stop. Convenient, affordable and short bus ride into Oxford. There is nothing around this hotel. Make sure you have dinner before you arrive. The menu in the restaurant is limited. The bed we had was very uncomfortable. Needs updating.

Really excellent hotel except for the internet prices. The pool was fantastic and the gym was great. The service througout our stay was really good.

Nice hotel, clean, food pleasant enough. Just why do IHG rip people off so much for using the internet. Daylight robbery

Great location and right next to the park and ride. £4 return for family of 3! Only stayed 1 night but would hve comfortable staying for longer. Not the best value, but booked the day before and breakfast was excellent.Leisure pool and spa good. Would certainly stay again.

The hotel is situated in a service area but has its own parking. The hotel has pleasant public areas and bedrooms and provides a good standard of service. The hotel is convenient for the Park and Ride bus and close to the M40.

Very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff excellent and lovely pool facilities. Very well situated for park and ride bus into Oxford (no need to drive at all). Downsides - you have to go into Oxford (or somewhere else) to get an interesting meal. The hotel has a depressingly tedious menu. Also the walls are thin. Our room had a door for the purposes of joining it with the next room. This enabled us to hear every last word ( from howls to whispers) of the wedding goers who brought their over-tired children back to the room at midnight and then failed to deal with their constant crying and tantrums for the next 90 minutes until I hammered on the door.

Had business at the oxford so convienant, not one for those who want to explore oxford city,

As holiday inn's go this one benefits a great deal from having the pool and spa adjacent to the hotel. Overall hotel good, food ok but breakfast was better. Would stay again so daughter can swim every day.

We found this hotel rather basic for a 4 star hotel (no fridge, no minibar, no dressing gowns, no room safe - ie no frills), but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable, and although they had forgotten to provide a bed for our daughter or the extra pillows requested when we booked, this was attended to as soon as asked for. You definitely need a car to stay there, as it is off a busy roundabout and it would not be easy to go anywhere from there on foot, so anyone wanting to explore Oxford from there would need a car. We were using the hotel as a hub for exploring the Cotswolds, so that worked very well for us. The swimming pool and jacussi were very nice.

told us there were 2 beds in the room but only a gnome would be able to fit in the second bed....beds were horribly hard and the pillows were awful. Very uncomfortable room......

Central Oxford appears to have some quite poor, but expensive, boarding houses or some even more expensive "luxury" hotels. Holiday Inn provides something within a £10 taxi ride of the city with a reasonable standard of room and a pool. Breakfast very good.

The usual Holiday Inn qualities: value for money, attractive for a chain of modern hotels, excellent breakfasts with great choice. The beds are the most comfortable of ANY hotel and it was a clever innovation to give pillow choice. This one was exceptionally clean and the staff were more than usually welcoming. We were given a smoking room despite asking for non-smoking but decided the taint of smoke was negligible and did not ask to change; we had to call for a lightbulb replacement and that was done immediately. The location close to a busy roundabout is a drawback: so noisy that we had to keep our window closed on a hot night. We did not have time to use the pool and gym but they add to the appeal - we'll do so in future. This hotel claims to be in the city of Oxford. It is not, it is well outside the city, and this should be made clear. It is, however, close to a Park and Ride which operates early-to-late seven days a week. The path to the Park and Ride is difficult to find and needs to be signposted.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, liegt entlegen, man benötigt unbedingt ein Taxi, aber wenn man dort ist ist alles sehr ok.Das Zimmer war ruhig und angenehm.

Modernt hotell med alla bekvämligheter. Serviceinriktad reception. Bra läge strax utanför Oxford. Bussresa in till City fungerade utmärkt.
