The cape is looking retro to me these days, including this very clean, friendly, affordable and aging motel. I was happy with this motel. I can easily recommend it with the understanding that my room was tiny but suited us just fine for the purpose of this short family vacation of 3 people. I loved having a small fridge in the room. The pool was clean with cool water and a welcome sight upon arrival. I tried three times to get ice from the large, aging, outdoor ice machine but failed because people ahead of me filled their coolers!!! I was attending a play in wrinkles because there was no iron, a feature I'd taken for granted in more expensive hotels. There is no shampoo, tissues, or other small ameities the entitled come to expect. The morning buffet was again clean but very simple, basic fare, I had a $9 egg and coffee. We ate up the street at the Fairway the next morning for an excellent meal that would carry us through the day. I recommend this hotel if you value a clean, minimal stay.

Centrally located on the outer Cape (and right next door to famous Arnold's Resturaunt), this older motel is well-kept and has a friendly, accommodating staff.

This is the kind of place you stay at when nothing else is available. That's what happened to us. It is an old facility, located near Route 6, provides no toiletries like shampoo and conditioner (so bring your own), and provides wifi that does not reach the rooms! The one good thing is that there is a pool and the receptionist is a very good lady.

This was a great place to stay for our trip to the cape. It was right near a local beach on the bay, and there was a restaurant right next door. The indoor pool is nice and they do serve breakfast for $8 if you want to pay. Convenient location, about a half hour outside of Provinetown and right in the middle of the Cape itself. Comfortable beds with the necessary amenities. Not too fancy, but just a nice place to sleep at the end of a long day.

Very homely and comfortable place. Extremely friendly hotel staff, who are more than eager to help you out. Great value for money. I would surely go back whenever i am in that area

Though I was expecting "no Frills" I do expect any motel to be clean. I think the room I was in had last falls dust and dirt. I had to plug in my phone and when I moved the end table there was an inch of dust and personal belongings from former motel patrons. Also the bathroom was in desperate need of updating and cleaning

Old cape cod motel. Loved it! Very clean, affordable.

It was a bit before open season so the pool was not open yet, a disappointment but not a deal breaker for me. Having a fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room was a wonderful convenience. This is an old style motel with that '60's feel. If interntet access is important to you, they need repeaters for internet access installed, but you can use it in the lobby or outside on the bench. The phone in the room did not work but so many people have cell phones, this seems to be a reason. Overall, I enjoyed a 2 night stay that was close to the beaches, clean room, good price. If you want a Marriott level hotel, this isn't it, but if you are a budget traveller, then this is a nice place to stop.

Town Crier was reasonably priced motel, room was very clean, it was comfortable but simple. Good location if you're interested in both Ptown and Chatham ends of the Cape.

Proche d'un State Parc et des plages de Cape Cod, proche d'un mini golf (bien pour les enfants), ce motel sans prétentions est très correct. Certes un peu défraîchi et sans connexion WIFI, le motel est très calme et la literie très confortable. Comptez 40 minutes pour rejoindre Provincetown en voiture.
